I was really looking forward to this excursion! Six months before the trip, I already knew that we would definitely visit it! We were together with my husband. We spent 8 hours very comfortably. George is a well-read man, not a single question put him in a dead end, he quoted poets, told, apart from facts, also legends, speculations. Interesting, informative, calm and very beautiful !!! very much! We walked everywhere, bypassed not only the estates themselves, but also the adjacent parks. George was everywhere with us, drove secret paths, commented ... and at the same time was inconspicuous and unobtrusive, we had our own time for contemplation and photography. A wonderful excursion, I advise everyone!

Recently, we took a tour of the abandoned estates. And I can say that we definitely did not regret it! We would never see it ourselves and would not know what beauties we have or were very close to home. We, as modern people, so often strive to other countries and to other continents, but how often we do not know and do not appreciate our history, our native places. We are very grateful to George for our enlightenment. I really liked that he not only completed the program, but also went beyond its borders, showed and talked about the sights that were along the way and not so much. It can be seen that George is rooting for the disappearing heroes of his excursion, doing his work with soul. I really hope that there will be more such informal excursions over time, which will allow us and our children to get to know our wonderful city much deeper and it will also not be boring)

We went on this excursion, relying on the description and reviews, very much hoped for an exciting journey, but, as they say, apparently not destiny. The tour, at our request, was reduced to a visit to two sites. 4 hours of excursion for 20 minutes to the object and three hours and twenty minutes on the road. George, it is clear that a person who is knowledgeable and interested cannot talk and drive in parallel, several times we almost got into an accident. Therefore, as we walked, we did not ask him about anything. Absolutely short description in place. My foreign guests called it the worst time in St. Petersburg, and I really wanted to show them something unusual. The idea is interesting, but the organization is "in Russian". If you hire a driver so that you can talk in the direction of travel, and a more comfortable car, the impressions will probably be more positive.

Dear Artem! I'm sorry you didn't like the tour. However, several points need to be canceled: you did not warn me that you have only 4 hours for the excursion instead of the planned 8. You asked me to pick you up from the hotel on Nevsky and I went to meet you, which increased the road to leave the city for an hour. This tour always ends at the Moskovskaya metro station. However, your friends had to go much further and we spent another hour in traffic jams just to take them from Moskovskaya to the desired address. Thus, 2 hours or even more out of 4 that you yourself took from the very beginning on the excursion went to the delivery of your guests and it was not at all my fault.
I don’t know what you mean by an accident, but we didn’t get into it, and in 10 years of driving I have not had any accidents, thank God. Finally, you paid me significantly less than the amount indicated for the excursion and I, as you put it, in a purely Russian way, agreed with this, although the time of the excursion was reduced not through my fault, and in the end I spent no less than usual. I also disagree with the fact that I talked a little about objects, I talked constantly, just your guests and you walked in different directions and did not listen to me at the same time.

No restroom stops. What you warn doesn't matter when "you go to the toilet". There is very little description of organizational issues. The guide knows the history well enough. But when you slide a finger on your tablet with unremoved seams, your guide hangs on his pants, and he looks as if he drank until morning, this slightly overwrites the overall impression of the tour. A lot of smacking, almost at the end of every sentence.

Our route is structured in such a way that in the middle of the trip, the whole group has lunch and visits to the toilet in Kirche. There are two latrines "M" and "Zh". If there are additional requests, I usually stop at a gas station. I will, as I said, accentuate this moment on the bus so that everyone knows that we have a toilet!)

As for the rest, I will give an example. Unfortunately, I do not remember you personally, but I remember that during the last excursion, one girl was very unhappy with the fact that she paid 200 rubles for a three-course lunch, but she did not like the naval pasta and wanted another dish. There was no dining room in Kirch and there were no other dishes. But especially for her, the priest's wife cooked buckwheat porridge with meat and the whole group waited for the client to finish eating.

I gave this example just to say that we are really trying to make you enjoy everything. I personally developed this, without exaggeration, a unique route, collected information about the collapsing buildings and will try to make the excursion as best as possible, taking into account your criticism.

Program

You will visit the ruins of the "Fifth Mountain" estate, which belonged to the warlock and freemason Jacob Bruce, who became famous for the fact that, according to legend, he could freeze the lake in summer and turn any metal into gold.
You will learn about the mysterious experiments with weapons that Bruce conducted, as well as the details of the life of one of the most cruel landowners in the history of Russia Olga Konstantinovna Briskorn, who later owned this estate.
Then you will see what remains of the house of one of the most famous and noble families of Russia - the Wrangel barons. We will tell you about the life of a typical "noble nest": what the serfs did in the estates, what way of life the landowners led, how they liked to have fun and spend time. The story will be based on the memoirs of Baron Nikolai Nikolaevich Wrangel.
In the middle of the way, there is a stop for a visit to the restroom and lunch at the Kirkha's premises in Gubanitsy. The hospitable priest will tell you about the fate of the building and the parish.
In the village of Gostilitsy we will visit the estate of Alexei Razumovsky. You will learn about the royal hunts and other entertainments of Elizaveta Petrovna and her favorite Razumovsky. The estate itself is very large and beautiful.
At the end of the trip, we will visit the perfectly preserved, but empty estate of the Demidovs in Taitsy. You will learn the history of this estate, which was visited by such famous Russian cultural figures as Turgenev and Rimsky-Korsakov. In Taitsy, the remains of a magnificent park will be waiting for us: the Gothic gate, granite lions and the "Humpbacked" bridge, preserved from the time of the Demidovs.
