1. Flight. I do not advise flying a charter flight from Irkutsk with the airline Nord-West. They sometimes delay flights for 3-5 hours. And if your flight is planned at night, then get ready for the fact that you may have to spend the night on iron chairs in the terrible international airport of the city of Irkutsk, without food, and just with a bottle of drinking water. At the same time, do not hope that you will be fed and / or provided with a rest room, as provided by law, no, this will not happen. And also get ready for the fact that this air company can deliver you, instead of the planned direct flight from Irkutsk to Sanya (Hainan), first to Thailand (Phuket), where you will sit at the international airport for about three hours, and only then, somewhere by the evening, you will be on the spot, having lost the whole day of your paid vacation. Well, if you decide to express your complaints to the crew, get ready to hear the answer, like, rejoice that you were generally taken to the place of rest for "such a penny." If such adventures do not bother you, and you are ready to throw money down the drain for one day of your trip paid by you, then fly with this airline.
  2. Guides. We were escorted and met by the company Pegasus-Touristik. Before the holidays, I read a lot of reviews about this company, and most of them were negative, especially these reviews concerned the guides of this company. I was a little scared by this, and doubted it. But now I can say with accuracy and reliability, do not believe negative reviews. When we arrived in Sanya, one of the guides of this company met us, forgive me, I forgot her name, a very smiling and pretty girl, took us by bus to the hotel, where another guide was already waiting - Eugene, she quickly helped us register and escorted to the room. The next day, I conducted a detailed briefing with us, and was polite and very patient, after that we saw her every day at the hotel, she came in the morning, sat on the soft sofas in the lobby, and sometimes answered questions from tourists, helped solve problems if these problems were. 3. Yalunwan Bay (Yalong Bay - it is also called that), where our hotel was located, is beautiful! It is clean, beautiful, calm. If you want complete relaxation and rest from a noisy city and from the crowd, then you need to go there. For comparison, we were in Dadonghai Bay (it is dirty and noisy, but cheap) and in Sanya Bay (more or less decent there), but we did not see such beauty, such calmness anywhere. If you like an active and cheap vacation, then Yalong Bay is not for you.
  4. Nature, weather. At the Epos-tour company, where we purchased our tickets, we were warned that in June there were monsoons (rains) on Hainan. But for all the time of our rest there was heat, exhausting. and the air temperature warmed up to 35 degrees, the water in the pools was hot, in the sea it was cooler, the sand in the daytime was so hot that it burned its legs and it was impossible to walk on it without slippers. Humidity is almost 100%, all the time the feeling that you are in the sauna, the clothes are always wet, do not dry out. From 11 to 16 hours without an umbrella and cream, you can literally burn out under the scorching sun in 5 minutes. Therefore, we went to sunbathe before 11 and after 16 hours. Even if it is cloudy, you can still burn very quickly. therefore, I recommend taking an umbrella and sunblock with you. Rain and thunderstorm there we saw only on the day of our departure.
  The nature there is wonderful, the cleanest air, blue sky, palm trees, and of various kinds, ever-blooming trees and shrubs, fragrant flowers, mango trees, breadfruit. Outside the hotels, during excursions, we saw huge banana fields, papaya harvesting, and rice fields and much more.
5. Hotel Marriott, its territory and service. Corresponds to 5 stars! Walking along the Yalunwan bay and the hotels located along the coastline, we made sure that the Marriott hotel is the most beautiful. The hotel photos that can be found on the sites are real photos, all without deception, it really is. When you enter the hotel lobby, your gaze immediately rises to the terrace, which offers a wonderful view of the sea. The garden around the hotel is very well maintained, gardeners are constantly working. which cut something there, clean, etc. The hotel has a two-level pool, it is winding, you can swim on it for a very long time, find some secluded place, retire, and enjoy this solitude. No one there and does not bother anyone. There is a pool bar, towels are provided free of charge, there is a volleyball net, a basketball basket, and diving is also taught there. The hotel is on the 1st coastline. There are a lot of sunbeds on the beach, they are almost always empty, despite the fact that the hotel has a lot of tourists. Towels are given free of charge, it is not necessary to hand them over, you can leave them on the sunbeds, then they will be picked up by hotel employees. You can take badminton, soccer or volleyball for free, but frisbee, pay circles can only be bought. The sand on the beach is white, you can see small crabs that dig minks there and hide in them, the sea is very warm, the waves are small, you can swim. almost always hung a yellow flag. Sometimes they put up a warning board about the invasion of jellyfish, but we never saw them there, so we swam calmly. At night, swimming is allowed only in the pool. There is also a children's playroom, there is a children's pool, there is a large pool for those involved in swimming. the most interesting is that the depth of the pools does not exceed 1.5 meters. Therefore, if someone does not know how to swim, it is easy to learn there. The service is excellent, the attitude of the staff is excellent, respectful. The only thing was that there was only one person who spoke Russian well, he was a student, he arrived there for only 1 year, to practice, his name is Gani, a good guy, so we solved all issues with him. 6. Number. Our room was overlooking the sea and partially overlooking the garden, it was wonderful, there were two armchairs and a table on the balcony, we drank tea there, looked at the sea, heard birdsong and the sound of the sea. Words can not convey it, it must be felt. The room is very clean, cleaning was carried out daily, towels were changed daily, three times a week - bathrobes and slippers were changed, and twice a week - bed linen was changed. The room has a kettle, safe, refrigerator, TV (there is a Russian channel), a table, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a hairdryer, an umbrella, rubber slippers for the beach, and soft white cozy slippers. combined bathroom (bathtub. shower, toilet, sink). There is a shampoo, shower gel, razor, nail file - and all this is added or changed as you use it.
  7. Nutrition. Great. In the morning, a buffet. I must say that it is very diverse. every day we ate something new. Delicious pastries, freshly squeezed juices, fresh fruits, friendly service. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. and ends at 10-30 a.m. We paid for evening meals in advance, when arranging a ticket, so we had the so-called Hawbort menu. The hotel has only three restaurants: Chinese, Japanese and European. We dined every day in one or the other. Overeat. The food is very tasty, we also ordered unusual dishes, such as we don’t try in Russia, and we really liked them. The restaurants are chic, the design is awesome, many of our restaurants have not yet reached that level. If dinner is not paid in advance, then I advise you to stock up on money for meals within the hotel at the rate of 2500 rubles per person. But it's worth it, and besides, it's safe. If you want to eat cheaper, but without a guarantee of safety, then there are 12 restaurants in the Plaza Hotel (4 stars), in our opinion, of dubious cuisine. We went there twice for lunch, to eat, the first time we were fed in dirty dishes. The waiters didn't care about us. The service is terrible. We thought that we were mistaken, suddenly, in another it will be better, and another time we went to the Beijing Duck restaurant, to eat the Beijing duck. I’ve never eaten such nasty things, and the waitresses, instead of serving us, watched a movie on TV. I do not recommend visiting this restaurant. Eat at your hotel if you want to go home healthy.
  8. Shops in Yalunwan Bay.
Everything is very expensive there. For comparison: on a paid Chinese beach, souvenirs, clothes, etc. that are sold in hotels cost 10! times cheaper. If you want to buy something, it is better to go to Dadonghai Bay and buy there, or pay 53 yuan and go to the park, where there is a shell museum, there is a beach for the Chinese, and there are souvenir shops that cost a penny).
  9. Excursions. I recommend: island of monkeys, thermal springs. the rest - the impression did not cause, and it is a pity for the money that we spent on it. I do not recommend visiting a sightseeing tour, as you will be taken to an allegedly silk factory (in fact, it’s just a silk-selling shop of unknown quality), then to a tea ceremony and to a snake farm, where they will “sell” you expensive goods, spin them for money, generally. Think before you go there. Zombies what you need! I do not recommend Safari Park. There are exhausted, skinny and hungry animals that do not cause delight, but regret. The horror is simple!
  10. Tourists who stay at the hotel. Basically - the Chinese (a lot and not for long), Americans, Germans, French (a little and not for long), Russians (for a little and long). Everyone behaves very culturally.
  11. Beauty salon at the hotel. This is a paradise. We went for body and face massage, expensive, but it's worth it. There is no such thing in Russia! Recommend.
  12. The gym. A great.

In general, we really liked it, the hotel meets the declared level, I recommend choosing the Marriott 5 * hotel if you want to have a good rest on about. Hainan.
