Route from Beregovo to Poland by car. In Poland by car: Features, description of the route and reviews. Documents required for trips

By car to Poland through Belorussia.
From Moscow on our "Goetz" we left at 5 am on Thursday. Before the border with Belorussia came without problems and in the evening were ready to pass the border Belorussko-Polish. No boundary between Russia and Belarus, as such, we did not feel.

Approximately kilometers in five hundred from Moscow will begin Belarus. It is, somewhere around 8 rides right and right on the Minsk highway and there already on the car to hand to file some more than 600 km. In total, we had 13 hours with a tail. True, we drove in the spring. In winter, I think, time will leave more because of the road.

For a transit relocation by car in Belarus, it is not necessary to pay. In the same place, by the way, it is possible to buy insurance if anyone has it, and exchange money.
Then a paid auto traverse on the territory of Belarus. Pover with gasoline to full tank better in Russian territory. Pay for gasoline at refueling in Belarus, our Russian rubles will not work, do not utter rubles, but please. But at the same time, for everything else you need to pay by Belarusian rubles.
We continue to move by car to Poland through Belorussia. If you decide to go along the M1 highway, then at PVDS (a paragraph charge of road fees) "radish" and will need to pay for the passage along the paid road. The paid road will soon begin, you will understand the roadside transparencies of blue. This is the road M1-E30 from the border with Russia to Brest. Payment is made in euros. But you can pay and Russian rubles. You will have to pay only 4 times by the number of PVDS, as a result, pay only 90 Russian rubles. By the way, the track is quite decent, asphalt is even and average speed on this site is allowed 110 km / h. Keep in mind that there are a lot of radar on this highway, so be careful not to disturb the speed mode.
If you are traveling by car to Poland through Belarus from Moscow, then the Insurance "Green Card" is better to buy in Moscow, in any insurance company, it will be cheaper. However, someone like. Insurance can be bought on the border.

Crossing the Belarusian - Polish border.
The Belarusian-Polish border can be crossed quickly, and you can simultaneously have a few hours. Before you go to the border barrier, you must first pay some time to pay in the amount of 50 Russian rubles and, and then you can safely move to the customs zone. First we pass passport control, then customs. So far stand in the queue, you can go to the toilet or smoke. In advance, while you have time, ask where the "Tax Free" payment is found here on the way back. On the way back can be useful. And yet, on the way back, if you want to the toilet in Poland, then keep in mind that he is paid, not what in the Belarusian territory.
Next, choose which corridor you need, in green or red. Usually all normal tourists are sent to the green corridor.
Polish customs officers are polite enough, talking quietly and calmly. Many are asked to open the trunk. With us, only one Belarusian driver forced all bags from the trunk. Belarusians often try to carry cigarettes to Poland in unauthorized quantity. Here are them and inscribed with addiction. Still check for the presence of milk-milk products. Those. You must have neither cheese, no sausage, no cottage cheese, etc. There is such a position according to which the transparency in the eurozone of meat-dairy products is prohibited. I think that no one is already lucky with me to Poland these products. Now, yes, we were lucky, especially tourists to save on food.
When passport and customs control with the authorities, it is better not to start the conversation. Do whatever they say to make anything they ask. As a rule, these are guys without a sense of humor.
In Poland, when driving on the roads, it is necessary to include low headlights. If you go to dimensions or fogging, may be fined. Poles and tinted cars do not like, make tinting to skit.

Travel through the territory of Poland.
Finally, in Poland in a small cross-border town Terespol. Here along the road a lot of inscriptions in Russian. The road has an E30 number. There are also Polish inscriptions. (joke). If you see a big sign with the inscription "Sklep", do not be scared, it is in Polish so the store is called.

Exchange currency here in such exchanger. Just be very attentive and pointed and at first ask what amount will give you on your hands. Of course, it is more profitable to change the euro on the malt.

Roads in Poland are smooth, mostly duplex. A solid line goes on the right. If you are going to overtake someone, then the overtaking is pressed to the right and skips you. Just do you. Very similar to movement in Greece. Speed in Poland's settlements from 5 am to 23.00 - 50 km / h, from 23.00 to 5 am - 60 km / h. Out of populated areas 90 km / h. This is for cars up to 3.5 tons. The speed of 130 km / h is allowed on the motorways. All 24 hours you must move with the near light headlights. The settlement in Poland is indicated by the sign "on a white background silhouettes of houses."
If you pass through Poland on weekends, then get ready for small traffic jams, especially in the first half of the day. Poles are very believers and at this time the whole family gather in chosets, which, as a rule, are located along the roads. Machines they are just parking along the roadway.
After passing the boundary, it is advisable somewhere to make a stop for a snack and exchange money. Kilometers 10 from the border there is a place of Pajero.

Paddero town in Poland.

There is a good cafe and money exchange point with a favorable course. Change the euro for zloty. There is also a small grocery shop where you can buy a water on the road or juices. We bought the Krakow sausage here, but I could not eat it until the end, I was very perepsed.
In general, in Poland in all roadside restaurants and cafes are willing to pay for the euro. Each kilometers of 30-50 there are roadside cafes and refueling with a toilet. It is not necessary to use the navigator in Poland, everything is clear and on a simple map that you can buy on any refueling. Very many Polish words and, moreover, the names are very similar to our.

Very cozy cafe on the territory of Poland, where you can eat tasty and cheap.

Along roads often come across road signs with the words "Uvaga". This is usually warnings that video surveillance is being conducted using video cameras. True, we saw signs, but they did not meet anywhere.
Studded rubber in Poland is prohibited. Therefore, if you are going on your car in Poland in winter, it will be advisable to install the winter non-studded "velcro" on your car. Snow, as in our Russia in Russia practically does not happen, but roads in places, especially outside settlements, are very slippery.

Entry for a paid road in Poland.

The crisis imposed his mark on the life of Russians - due to the fall of the ruble exchange rate, the flow of our compatriots to Europe was noticeably doused (according to tour operators, the demand for foreign trips to the May holidays fell by 25%). However, in Europe there are places where you can relax well, having in my pocket not the biggest budget. We decided to explore one of these directions and went to Poland.

What is known in Russia about Poland? Often, your interlocutor will draw you a rather gloomy picture. Allegedly Poland is a sad gray place where they do not like Russians, random travelers pierce the wheels, do not allow strange motorcyclists, and besides there is nothing to watch there. Oils in the fire poured and statements by various politicians.

From Moscow to Brest leads the M1 / E30 highway, which is characterized by an excellent coating, a good infrastructure, and in the Belarusian section of the track - also the maximum allowed speed of 120 km / h. But, before you go on the road, do not forget to issue insurance - the so-called "green card" and, desirable, get an international certificate.

If you decide to take the border with Poland in Brest (the transition "Warsaw Bridge"), then we recommend doing it on weekdays, when fewer people (there are sites on the Internet to keep track of the number of cars on the border in online mode). There are no problems with overnight in Poland. In addition to the usual "network" hotels, a good combination of price-quality differ "grads" (Zajazd) - small motels. Prices there are moderates (approximately 1000 - 1300 rubles per double room). You can stop in the private sector or so-called "overnight" (noclegi), which will be twice as cheaper. However, this option is more likely for young travelers or lovers of exotic.

Roads in Poland are distinguished by good quality, especially in comparison with Russian, and drivers will drive almost the same way as in the rest of Europe. The only exception is a high-speed regime that few people observe (but you do not advise you to exceed the fines in Poland quite high!).

There are several features of the speed mode. Maximum allowed speed in the village - 50 km / h. But the city begins the nuances. By "simple" two-way road, you can drive no faster than 90 km / h. If two strips go in one direction, the speed increases to 100 km / h. By the so-called "expressings" (DROGA EKSPRESOWO), you can drive 120 km / h, and on highways allowed to accelerate up to 140 km / h. However, it is not worth scoring the head with numbers, because speed limits are always duplicated by signs.

Another feature is traffic lights in cities. As in Russia, sometimes a special swivel section is used to rotate on traffic lights. But there is a nuance: if green is burning straight, and the section is repaid, turn right can. But regardless of this, when you turn, do not forget to miss pedestrians.

But gasoline in Poland is expensive. The liter of the 95th will cost an average of 4.8 zł (approximately 66 rubles), 4.6-4.7 zł (about 64 rubles) will be asked for a liter of diesel fuel (about 64 rubles). Therefore, before crossing the border, be sure to fill the full tank.

It is said that once a long time ago three Slavic prince Leh, Czech and Rus sorted into different directions and founded three states - Poland, the Czech Republic and Rus, respectively (of course, many historians argue with this statement). Well, in this trip we had real Slavic unity - the Russian crew drove in Poland on the Czech brand.

During our trip, we visited three major cities of Poland: Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw. Compare these three cities among themselves - it's like to compare Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan. They are different!

Warsaw

At first glance, the Polish capital may seem too a noisy city. But this impression is deceptive. It is worth only to get to the old town, as mentally transferred for several centuries ago. The most interesting thing is that most of the buildings are Novodel. After all, after World War II, all Warsaw lay in ruins ... the titanic efforts of architects an old city or, as they say here, "old woman" was restored. Moreover, where possible, the original bricks were used. UNESCO even made the Old Town in the World Heritage List "as an exceptional example of almost complete restoration of the historical period between the XIII-XX centuries."

The Royal Castle was built at the turn of the XV-XVI centuries and served as a place where the Polish kings were squeezed, and the president also had been squeezed. Interestingly, in different epochs, the lock has repeatedly rebuilt in accordance with the current fashion. Now in the Palace of the Museum, where you can see the canvas of Rembrandt artists and Mateyo, the old species of Warsaw brushes of Belldotto, as well as urn with the ashes of Tadeusch Kostyshko.

As we said, the impression of Warsaw, both from a stuffy and dynamic place, very deceptive. In the very center of the city there is a real paradise. We are talking about Lazenki Park, which was created in the XVII-XVIII centuries for the local aristocracy. The park takes 76 hectares and is a wonderful place for walking. It is not only beautiful here, but also excellent ecology is a lot of protein, ducks and even ... Pavlinov! Which walk straight along the paths of the park and are not completely afraid of people! By the way, sometimes they cry very funny - do not be scared.

The famous Palace of Science and Culture, built on the project of the architect Lion Rudnev in 1952-1955, is the highest building in Poland and one of the highest in the European Union. The house, which is the "gift of the Soviet people of Polish," was built according to the model of Stalin's heights in Moscow. It is not surprising that such a project caused negative associations from local residents, because they saw this clear dominance of the totalitarian system and pressure from Moscow. However, it is already history.

Krakow

After Warsaw, the Krakow lying in the south of Poland may seem too calm, approximately as St. Petersburg after Moscow. But in the same way as in the case of North Venice, we are talking about the cultural capital of the state, which was also the capital of the most real. Therefore, look here really is what.

The first thing that sees a tourist going to the old town of Krakow from the north is the mighty barbican (so-called a defensive structure like Kutafia Tower in Moscow) with a gate of St. Florian and the city walls. It is difficult to believe that once between the barbacan, which was built in the XV century, and the city walls were ditch ... However, and now the dive in the Middle Ages manage to "Hurray". By the way, the fortress walls can be stroll.

Having passed on the Florian street, you will fall on the main square of Krakow - the market. In the Middle Ages, it was one of the largest in Europe, but today is striking with its size. In the center of the square are the clouds (Sukiennice). They still have a boyfriend trade, but the former fabrics are increasingly inferior to souvenirs. At an angle to the "Sukennitsy" there is a church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary or Mariacksky Catholic church. Be sure to enter inside, because the interior of the cathedral deserves separate attention. And the church is characterized by two towers, which differ from each other. By the way, remember - every day at 10 am from the entrance to the temple will start free (!) Excursion around the city.

Wovel Hill is a real heart of Krakow, because it is here that the Royal Castle and the Cathedral of the Saints Stanislav and Waclav, which is the tomb of the Polish kings. Be sure to visit the courtyard of the castle, which can argue with similar buildings in Italy. By the way, it is here, in the Royal Castle, now the picture of the hands of Leonardo da Vinci is now - the famous lady with ermine. And the most real dragon lives on Bavle. It's not a joke! The creation of the legends moved directly to the coast of the Vistula and the public even let the flame languages even allow.

Krakow churches deserve a separate story. In general, the Polish word Kościół means only the "church", and the Catholic temples in Russian is more correctly called in the same way as Orthodox - churches, temples or cathedrals. However, speaking of Poland you can use the word "church", just like the word "VIA" for the names of the streets in Italy. In Krakow, the churches are really amazed by their beauty. This is due to the fact that the decoration of most of them was created during the period of so-called countertilization and religious wars in Europe. The ascetic interior of Protestant temples was opposed to wealth and gold in the interior of Catholic churches, designed to show the image of Paradise, which is waiting for a believer in case of repentance. By the way, if you decide to visit the Holy Mass, it is better to come in advance - after all, sometimes in the temple you can simply not fit in due to the number of people.

Now the area called Kazimierz is a fashionable place. But once here was located one of the largest Jewish neighborhoods in Europe, which you will definitely remind various establishments and sounds of clometer from street musicians. Although the surrounding atmosphere causes pleasant sensations, it is impossible not to remember the sad page in the history of Krakow - Krakowskogo ghetto, which was organized in the neighboring area of the porch during the occupation of the city of Nazi Germany. Before the war, Krakow inhabited more than 60 thousand Jews, after mass deportations, only 15 thousand remained in the city. However, the Nazis and this seemed a little. In March 1943, it was decided to eliminate the ghetto. 8 thousand Jews who were considered suitable for work were transported to the placing concentration camp, 2 thousand were killed right on the streets, and the rest were sent to Auschwitz. Departure was carried out from the station, which was at the local area of consent. In memory of the killed Jews, this place is now called the Square of Hetto Heroes, and in the midst of it a monument is established in the form of empty chairs.

Wroclaw

Wroclaw is the capital of the historic region of Silesia, known for its rich subsoils. Just who did not belong to this region! Both Poles, and Austrians, and Czechs and even Higrama. But, of course, most of all in the city of precisely German influence, because after the war for the Austrian legacy at the end of the 18th century, Silesia has long moved to the Kingdom of Prussia. Especially strongly, the Prussian heritage is manifested in architecture - it is enough to see the town hall on a market square or a house on a salt area in the neighborhood to feel like in Germany.

Wroclaw's heart - Tumsky Island, located on Oder. It was from here that this mighty city began. On the territory of the island, the ruins of some buildings dated by another IX century are preserved. And in his middle the center is the Cathedral of John the Baptist, which is the first Gothic temple in Poland.

Another integral landmark of Wroclaw is the real gnomes. Yes, yes, there are small figures of fairy creatures throughout the city. But do not think that the gnomes, or, as they are called, "Krasnogududy", are placed around the city just like that. They are full-fledged citizens of the Wroclaw and live their lives - go shopping, ride a motorcycle, stew fire. Therefore, their names are appropriate. For example, Sonya or Shopaholik. Search for gnomes around the city is extremely interesting even adults, and they come across at all in unexpected places.

If you are in Wroclaw, then visit the local zoo. The entrance costs 40 zł (about 600 rubles), and you can spend all day in it. 4,150 animals of 876 different biological species live on the territory of 33 hectares. There is even an oceanarium!

Chicken is not a bird ...

... and Poland is not abroad. This saying, in which Poland sometimes inferior to Bulgaria, knew, perhaps, everyone who grew up in the Soviet Union. Perhaps once it was, and Poland was not fundamentally different from other countries of the socialist. However, over the past 30 years, Poland has experienced fundamental changes. And before writing in the comments, the author of the Poles paid, think a little and draw the conclusions themselves, without imposed stereotypes. During our ten-day trip to the family of two adults and one child, in addition to paying accommodation (13 thousand rubles), 25,000 rubles were spent on food, cultural program, entertainment. And at the same time we did not refuse themselves. Everywhere, where we were, we were waiting for a warm welcome, the service at a decent level, and at the same time no one tried to deceive us.

Separately, it is worth mentioning such a moment as discrimination. Never, we emphasize, never during the trip, we did not see a prejudice relationship because we talked in Russian. Moreover, the Poles really made a positive impression - here you will always help get out of transport with a heavy bag, or will hold the door, seeing that you go with a carriage. It is necessary to state - Poland has already become abroad in a good sense of the word. And its tourist potential is strongly undervalued by the Russians.

Cherry on the cake was a conversation with a football fan of Warsaw "Legia", which occurred on the last evening. Having learned that we were from Russia, he was delighted and shook my hand, saying that politicians on both sides are always trying to keep ordinary people, and the Slavs would have to be friends. It is difficult to disagree, especially when the country unexpectedly reveals before you with such a positive side.

Going to Poland on a personal car, you need to take care of the presence of all the necessary documents, check the condition of the car for compliance with the rules of the EU roadmail. It is also necessary to test your luggage and prepare for possible issues of customs officers. Knowledge of the rules of intersection of the Russian-Polish border will avoid misunderstandings with customs employees, and sometimes fines, the risk of getting a permit to enter the EU territory.

Requirements for the car

When crossing the border, Polish customs officers check:

  • Feed light instruments (headlight headlamps, stop signals, overall lights, reversing lamp). Experienced drivers advise to have several spare light bulbs to replace the distilled;
  • The state of the windshield (a large crack will serve as a refusal in the passage, minor chips or cracks of about 20 mm are allowed);
  • The presence of a "motorist set":
    • Aid kit
    • Reflective vest (without it in Poland on the highway, even get out to add "self-email");
    • Triangular emergency stop sign;
    • Fire extinguisher (shelf life should not end during their stay in the EU);
    • Spare wheel or Remkomplekt, if a separate place is provided for the spark.
  • The technical support and the "green" car insurance card (an analogue of the CTP is discharged by the car, and not on the driver).

In addition, it is necessary to take care of the state of rubber. It must match the season. Although the strict ban on summer tires in winter is not yet adopted, there is a corresponding bill, and Polish lawmakers can approve it at any time. On the territory of Poland it is forbidden to use studded winter tires. Another wheels requirement - tire protector on one axis must be identical. Customs officers are not required to focus on tires, but the Polish policemen have the right to write a fine for their inappropriate state. It is also highly recommended to remove the antiradar in order not to violate the rules of Poland.

Requirements for the driver and passengers

You need to be ready to prevent customs officers:

  • Passport with a valid visa;
  • Rights (driver only) Russian or international;
  • The insurance policy for traveling abroad (necessarily, but asked not often);
  • Hotel reservation, invitation or other documents confirming the purpose of the trip;
  • The presence of money (100 zł per person per day). If the money is on the card, then you should stock up with a relevant state of bank account.

Standard questions of customs officers and answers to them

Purpose of the trip

If you go to shopping, it is best to honestly say that we are going to spend money in Gdansk stores (Olsztyn, Gdynia, etc.). Listen to the cultural monuments not necessarily.

Travel time

What are you luck

Here, too, you need to answer the truth, because noticing the slightest oscillation, the customs officer can send to the detailed inspection. It threatens losses at least 30 minutes of extra time.

Avoid misunderstandings (fines, confiscations of the goods, visa cancellation) at customs easy, if you know what and in what quantities you can / can not be pronounced:

  • Products containing meat and milk (including even chocolate candies) with the exception of baby food;
  • Medicines containing narcotic and prohibited substances (the current list is better to clarify before traveling).

It is possible (for persons over 17 years old):

  • 1 l of strong alcohol (above 22 degrees);
  • 2 l wines;
  • 16 l beer;
  • 40 pcs cigarettes or 20 thin cigars or 10 standard cigars;
  • 200 g of natural coffee;
  • 5 kg of fresh fruit, vegetables.

At the end, another Council for communicating with Polish customs officers and police officers - to offer them to "negotiate" it is impossible. It is better to follow the rules and travel by car without problems.

Poland is one of our nearest Schengen neighbors, although Russia does not border to it directly. Of course, in the first place in this matter, Finland, located next to the Leningrad Region, and having direct border crossings with Russia. It is very convenient for St. Petersburg, many of which have a Finnish visa and all their car routes to Europe are starting from here. But for the Moscow region and more southern areas to make such a northern hook is not very convenient. In addition, to get to other European countries from Finland by car, you need to use the ferry, and this time and additional money. Therefore, for the auto travelists of the central part of Russia, it turns out to be more convenient and rapidly another route to Europe - through Belarus and Poland (of course, if you prefer an aircraft, all of the above for you is completely no matter).

M1 in Russian and Belarusian traditions

So, if you decide to choose this path, your route will run along the famous Smolensk road (the M1 highway), which comes almost directly from Moscow to Brest, the distance to the Polish border - 1060 km. The Russian part of the track is 455 km long, according to our standards, quite good: two bands in each side, the markup is more or less present, and in the winter the road again, more or less, is cleaned. The only minus is the mass of settlements and stupid signs, which forcing places to go 50-60 km / h. However, even where there are no signs, according to our rules, the maximum speed is all equal to only 90 - it does not reach the status of the M1 motorway.

On its Belarusian part, the track is becoming clearly better and almost reaches the European level. Signs allow the movement on most of this 605 and kilometer plot at a speed of 120 km / h. But here there is your minus: roadside service, far from the best and in Russian territory, in the Belarusian Earth almost comes to no. Remember, in the immortal Soviet cartoon "Mystery of the Third Planet", a certain planet "Jries" was described as follows: "There are no people, no minerals, no water, there is no robots inhabited by robots"? Well, here the M1 highway in Belarus looks like the same desert.

In fact, there are only a few dozen gas stations, on which, however, you can refuel for Russian rubles. Roadside catering, and, in particular, the toilets in the parking lots look so that you are unlikely to want to use them. And even if you want to cheer something (toilets like "Point" are free!) - It is only for the "bunnies" (as historically called the Belarusian currency). And "bunnies" - only in the exchange office. And the exchange office, as in the famous series, "somewhere nearby" ... In general, the path of the Belarusian area is much easier (and safer for health) to stock sandwiches and coffee in the thermos. Be patient to Poland - eat there for glory!

Of serious things, you should remember the following. First, do not relax strongly from the fact that there are no stationary DPS posts in Belarus. But there are mobile crews, which, like us, love to hide in the bushes, and the fines for speeding are much more serious - up to several hundred euros, and pay for the bank, which will require time spending. Secondly, you need to know that there are no additional insurance or payment "for transit" on the border now. Insurance is suitable international (the very "Green Card. "Which, as I hope you have already received), and for the roads you pay 4 times on 20-25 rubles (Russian) at four points charge with barriers - you definitely do not miss them. So the border of Russia-Belarus is just driving without stopping. Practice shows that not particularly disturbing traffic rules, having left at 5 am from Moscow to pass all the traffic jams, by 16-17 hours you will arrive on the border to Brest.

The border

Brest Terespol's border crossing is not the only one between Belarus and Poland, but the biggest. There was a time when on a car in line at this transition could have been unaware a few days, and the passage without a queue organized by local gangsters was worth 100 dollars, and then 100 euros. But then there was a visa-free regime between Poland and Belarus, and citizens actively earned on it, moving across the border of gasoline and cigarettes. Now for Belarusians, as well as for all other, a Schengen visa is needed, and the cost of its receipt has reduced this "business" practically no.

So, depending on the day of the week and the time of day, now you are just on this border crossing from half an hour (lucky!) To hours 3-4. It is best to move the border on weekends or holidays, as well as around 2-3 hours of the night - then the queues are minimal. If suddenly, at this transition, it was formed not shifting a plot, you can try another transition - Domachevo, it is only 50 kilometers south of Brest. There are usually less than less, but fewer border guards, so that the winning time may not work. In addition, Domachevo does not pass buses and minibuses.

Everything that can and can not be shoved across the border of Poland, you can easily find on special sites, for example, or.

The maximum attention of customs officers usually give alcohol (maximum 1 l of strong drinks or 2 liters of wine) and cigarettes (200 pcs, or 1 block). It is impossible to carry gasoline or diesel fuel in the canes - only what is in the tank. If you carry the canisters, before the border, turn all their contents to the tank. Hanging on the border of the announcement says that it is impossible to carry meat and dairy products, so you use your sandwiches, if possible, in Belarus - still in Poland the food is better and cheaper. To the question "What are you lucky?" The best answer is "only personal belongings." Sometimes you may be asked to open one or another suitcase or bag.

But what to have on the border must be required: a passport with a visa for each passenger, a certificate of registration of the vehicle ("Tehtalon"), decorated for the driver (power of attorney here, do not hide), rights, insurance for the car ("Green Card ").

Very often ask about money (remember, it is necessary to 300 zł or 75 euros on the day of stay?), So it will be necessary to show the currency and / or credit cards. Very rare, but it happens that the invitation or a copy is asked. In this case, we answer that the original invitation is, as it should be, in the embassy, and it is advisable to take a copy with you (ask her in the firm that will help you with a visa).

In the car can check for a first-aid kit, an emergency stop sign and, (attention!), Reflective vests on all passengers, so that they are in advance, they are inexpensive. The machine should be glued on the machineRus "In white oval. It happens that checking the work of all light instruments - replace the bulbs, if necessary, in advance. May not miss the car if large cracks that interfere with the review are in the windshield.

Studied tires and any anti-lands or radar detectors are strictly prohibited! Even at a simple presence in the machine of an unused antiradar, a very large fine with the confiscation of it is provided.

We are going Polish

So, I hope you crossed (more precisely, moved) the border for a reasonable time, and found themselves in Poland. The first thing you have to do is include the headlights of the headlights and do not turn it off here anymore, while moving. This requirement of local traffic rules, for the violation of which any policeman will immediately stop you. Inpatient traffic police posts here, as in the entire civilized world, no, but there are many mobile patrols, and very often they, quite in Russian traditions, are hiding in secluded places and caught the violators.

A brief flashing of the oncoming car with distant light Here you can tell you two things here: first, like us, "ahead of the ambassador of the police", and secondly, "you don't burn the headlights, so if you are blinking all the oncoming cars, Check if the Middle Light is enabled.

Next important thing - high-speed mode. On the border you will see a poster, approximately like this:

Here is the permissible maximum speed in different situations, and we can see a lot of differences from the Russian rules. Restriction of speed in settlements (here it is called "Building Zone") in Poland depends on the time of day: 50 km / h from 5 am to 11 pm, and 60 km / h - at night. Outside settlements, like us, limit - 90 km / h, however, if the road has two bands in each direction outside the building zone, or a special sign is installed, then 100 km / h. Four-band road with a special sign outside the city gives you the opportunity to accelerate to 120, and the motorway is already up to 140 km / h. However, there are few motorways in Poland andall of them paid.

There is a very significant difference in where the zone of speed limiting in settlements begins. We have accustomed to the signs of type "name on a white background", after which the restriction is set up to the same sign, but crossedped with a red line. In Poland, the signs of the names of settlements have a green background (see Figure below), and notinfluence on high-speed mode.

On the high-speed mode, on the contrary, only the signs of the building zone (the silhouette of the city on a white background) and the "end of the building zone" (it is also crossed), and these signs are installed quite those where signs of locality in the green background, That is, these pairs of signs coexist absolutely separately from each other! And since in Poland, one village follows closely after another, and most of the roads pass through the centers of settlements, you need to be very careful not to miss the zones of the beginning and end of the speed limit - the police do not dreamed!

In general, in Poland
the mass of creative road signs different from ours, but most of them are understandable without explanation. The only sign that systematically drives into a stupor of foreign in wisels, this one.

The similarity with the skull and crossed bones is quite justified. Translated this means "black place", that is, the place where the accidents constantly occur. And although the formal sign does not require anything from you, he reports that in this place there is so much person died (zabitych. ) and so much injured (rannych. ) Maybe it makes sense to reset the speed?

Well, but such a sign is as defined as possible. Apparently, so many cars overturned on this unfortunate house on the sidelines that local authorities decided to come up with a new sign "Caution, overturning to the house."

Despite the help of the European Union and the active construction of new highways, most of the roads in Poland remain narrow and two-way. In fact, at the moment, the paid motorways of Warsaw-Frankfurt-on-Oder (to the border with Germany) and Warsaw-Krakow are almost completed. These roads are already fully consistent with European standards, but all the rest ... All the others pass through cities and other settlements, and if they have quite wide asphalt roads - it is already good. In addition, these roads often need to be repaired, and then the oncoming flows go through only one strip separated by a temporary traffic light. Tubes are obtained, as in the photo below:

Ethics on the road

It is clear that new roads across the country will not immediately build at once, and somehow it is necessary to go today, and therefore there was a certain code of behavior on the road among the drivers-professionals. Although it works in almost all countries, it is especially bright effect manifested in narrow Polish roads.

Here, for example, you are trying on a two-way road, in conditions of limited visibility, overtake a large truck. First, you should carefully look at signs and marking. In Poland, no one establishes signs to "cut the loot", so they become your allies from enemies. If you see from your side the intermittent line - it means that you will see the counter stream, if you have a solid side - do not try to go for overtaking, unless of course you are going to end the life of suicide right here and now. Although after Russia it is difficult to believe, the markup really corresponds to the road situation!

Secondly, you went for overtaking, but the overtook truck for some reason turned on the left turn signal. This shows you: "Do not stick out, there are oncoming cars," he is all seen very well with his high landing. If he, on the contrary, turned on the right direction indicator, which means: "Come on, the oncoming band is clean." As a rule, in this case, it will be brightened to the right, as far as the width of the road will be allowed. Heated this truck, do not forget to thank it with the short inclusion of "accidents", in all countries it means "Thank you."

Similarly, you must also do. If the car attached to you in the tail, clearly trying to drive you faster, squeeze as far as possible and turn on the right direction indicator, showing the readiness to give way to the road. Even more complex actions will be required from you under overtakers on more or less wide two-band roads, which have large curbs on each side (Figure below). In fact, three cars can be dispersed on the width on the width, and this is usually the Poles. If you are trying to overtake you, take the right to the right and turn on the right turn signal. If you see how someone is trying to make such a maneuver on the oncoming lane, also take the right, freeing the middle of the road to overtake the car. At the same time, we should not forget that parked cars can be on the side of the roads, in which you can savor cut into, performing all these actions in the spirit "give way to the road".

So attention, accuracy and politeness are those three "whales", on which safe driving in Poland is based. Please accept the fact that the average speed in the country will be 45-55 km / h. Faster in the local conditions you can get except in the listszabitych. in some other Czarny Punkt.

And finally, about alcohol. As in Russia, the principle of "zero tolerance" is implemented in Poland to alcohol driving. All that above 0.2 PROMILL refers to serious administrative offenses, and above 0.5 - to criminal, that is, the criminal. Therefore, the complete abstinence from alcohol driving will be the right solution.

P.. S.. And where are the photos of storks made to the top of this article, you ask? Despite the fact that in Poland, storks are the same almost sacred symbol as cats in Egypt or cows in India. The emblems of many Polish settlements contain an image of a stork. If the storks fought the nest from your home - for Poles, it is very good sign, and you will see many such ashin nests, driving through this small country, rightfully proud of your history and culture. But about it - next time.
