Winpearl amusement park

Of all the attractions in Nha Trang, if there is a place that everyone should definitely visit, then this is Vinpearl entertainment island.

Winpearl Amusement Park welcomes millions of tourists every year. Winperl itself is a complex of various attractions. To have time to enjoy the full range of entertainment offered on the island, you need at least one day, and preferably two. Therefore, the first advice: come early. If you gather after lunch, you will not have time for anything.

The cost of the trip is included in the entrance ticket.

Worshiping the Four Deities Po Nagar

Cham Towers Po Nagar is another popular attraction that you can see in Nha Trang on your own. Of the 8 legendary Po Nagar towers, only 4 have survived to this day, but to see such a miracle close up is worth a lot. The age of the buildings is very ancient, it is not for nothing that the towers rightfully occupy the 1st place in the register of historical relics of Vietnam.

The history of the Principality of Champa goes back to the depths of the 7th century. In the heyday of this medieval Cham family, unusual towers dedicated to the Hindu religion were erected.

You can come to the temple complex in any clothes, and you can enter the inside of the temple only in the proper form: barefoot, with your head uncovered, with your shoulders and knees covered. But do not worry about the appearance, at the entrance you will be given a free bathrobe.

The powerful architectural monument looks majestic, especially the highest tower erected in honor of the Mother Queen and the goddess Uma crowning its top with 10 arms.

The unique Cham towers of Po Nagar leave an indelible impression and are full of special energy that makes you think about the history of not only Vietnam, but the entire earthly civilization.

Opening hours: daily 06:00 – 18:00

Entry fee: 22,000 dong (about 57 rubles)

Museums in Nha Trang

If you do not know what to do in Nha Trang when it rains, then I want to bring to your attention 3 interesting museums that will not make you yawn. You can find all the mentioned museums in Nha Trang on the map.

Museum of Impressions

The Museum of Experiences in Nha Trang is an old restored four-story Vietnamese-Chinese house with a very authentic flavor. There are many exhibits and installations with which you can take illusion photos. In one room you will walk on the ceiling, in the other you will turn into a pretty Vietnamese woman, you can feed fish and turtles, walk along a steep bridge over an abyss and much more in the same vein.

Now a few words about the sad. Many exhibits of the museum are old and shabby, the rooms are small and very stuffy. Air conditioning is only on the second floor. You can also eat delicious food in the cafe. Reviews about the Nha Trang Interactive Museum are very diverse: someone likes it, someone can’t wait to run away as soon as possible.

How to get there: You can get to the interactive museum by free bus from the Russian information center. You will be transported back the same way.

Gallery is open from 9:00 to 21:00, located at: Buu Đoa - 10

silk gallery

Another way to keep yourself busy when it rains in Nha Trang is to visit the local silk museum. Here you will find many products and paintings made of silk, which seem to glow from the inside due to the smoothness of the silk thread. By and large, the Nha Trang Silk Museum is a store where you can come, look at the exhibits, learn the history of the shop, see how silk products are made and buy something for yourself. The entrance is free.

Gallery is open from 7.30 to 22 hours.

Will you find her by the address: 64 Tran Phu

Nha Trang Oceanographic Museum

The Oceanographic Museum in Nha Trang is a nice addition to the Institute of Oceanography, founded in 1922. It has been recognized as the first Research and Development Center of Vietnam.

The building is old and, like any institution, is underfunded. This is noticeable in the persistent Soviet spirit and time-worn exhibits, and old aquariums with green water.

Here you will see small sharks, deadly puffer fish, lionfish, crabs and a lot of other colorful fish. Particularly impressive is the skeleton of the humpback whale (3 m high and 26 long), which the Vietnamese revere as a sacred animal. When a whale is washed ashore, it is buried in the ground for several years, after which the skeleton is taken out and a temple is built in its honor. You can learn this and other interesting stories about fish if you take a guide.

Many people love the museum at the Institute of Oceanography in Nha Trang for the beautiful view that opens from it to the port and the cable car to Winperl. Many people come here when it rains in Nha Trang and there is nothing to do.

How to get to the Oceanographic Museum: by bus number 4 to Winperl, there nearby.

Address: 1 Cau Da, Nha Trang, Vietnam

Admission ticket: VND 20-40,000 depending on the season.

Alexandre Yersin Museum

Alexander Ersin (in various sources Yersin) is a microbiologist. She came to Vietnam at a young age to treat horses, and remained in the country to live. This man identified the microbe that causes bubonic plague.

At present, Dr. Yersin's library and his office have been turned into a popular museum. By and large, if you do not know French and have little interest in science, then you will not be very interested. There are Yersin's personal belongings here: letters, microscopes, test tubes, books and photographs.

It is worth coming here if you want to look at the life of the great scientist. And the place where the museum is located is very beautiful.

The museum is located at: 8 - 10 Tran Phu St | In the Pasteur Institute

You can get to it by taxi or by bike. The road itself is worth it. Imagine 30 km on an asphalt road in the middle of an impenetrable jungle. Along the way you will see waterfalls and a mountain river. If you're lucky, you can drive through the clouds. At the top there is a very beautiful view of the mountains. By the way, you can live here for only 200,000 VND.

Entrance the Yersin Museum costs 28,000 VND.

Opening hours weekdays: 07:30-11:00 and 14:00-16:30, Saturday: 08:00-11:00

Legacy of the fisherman Le Can

In 1971, a simple fisherman living on one of the islands near Nha Trang picked up a shovel and dug a pond. In the resulting pond, he began to collect a natural aquarium of exotic marine life. From this idea was born the famous Nha Trang Aquarium - Chi Nguyen, which amazes with its appearance alone.

A whole line of associations immediately arose in my head: The Flying Dutchman, Pirates of the Caribbean, novels by Jules Verne and other maritime legends. The Vietnamese nicknamed the giant aquarium " Palace of Neptune”, and for 3 hours we admired the magnificent collection of fish and marveled at the wild imagination of the architects: unusual, picturesque and very colorful.

How to get to Chi Nguyen Aquarium on your own: rent a boat at the pier for $25 (round trip). Or you can visit the aquarium as part of a standard tour of the southern islands.

Admission ticket: 90,000 dong + if you want to visit the beach $ 3 for entry and sunbed.

Here you can buy a large bag of food for 20,000 VND and feed local fish and giant turtles from a fishing rod. Many people like the Fur Seal Show. I recommend visiting this attraction of Nha Trang with children, they will be delighted.

Mud baths in Nha Trang

Nha Trang is famous for its mud baths and spas. The most popular of them are: 100 eggs, Thap Ba and IResort hot springs.

100 eggs of Nha Trang: a love story between a dragon and a miracle bird

Good-natured people of Vietnam are very fond of fairy tales. One of the old legends was told to us at the moment when we declared for ourselves a “day of spa tenderness”.

Five years ago, the newest spa resort was opened on a vast territory of more than 20 hectares. The complex gathered on its square: a greenhouse of lush Asian vegetation, houses and enclosures for animals, a Vietnamese village stylized as old eastern settlements, a beautiful temple, observation rooms for lovers of outlandish landscapes.

The sign reads: "100 Egg Mud Bath", it got its name in honor of the story of the dragon's passionate love for the outlandish bird. 100 eggs became the fruit of the legendary passion, and 100 peoples of Vietnam were born from them.

Prices from 6 to 25 dollars depending on the range of services.

How to get there:

  • On the bus number 4 already familiar to us, a stop at the port of Vinpearl.
  • On the free bus from Diamond Bay, he passes 100 eggs several times a day. You can take the bus from the shopping center Nha Trang Center, which is on the waterfront in the city center.
  • On a special transfer from the mud bath. You can order it at the hotel or any travel agency. The price for everything is 4 dollars.

Improve your health in the Thap Ba mud baths

Before plunging into the cycle of excursions, the range of which in Nha Trang will amaze even the most advanced tourist, we decided to have a relaxing day at the famous Thap Ba mud bath. It is difficult to describe the delight and pleasure that we experienced in this place in words and an unequivocal verdict - you must definitely experience it for yourself.

My husband and I, like little children, frolicked under the stream of water saturated with mineral salts, wallowed in the jacuzzi, smeared mud on each other and swam with rapture in the mineral water pool. Aromas of eucalyptus and blooming exotic plants magically complement the overall picture.

After Thap Ba, you get the feeling that you have thrown off all the burden of worries and problems that you brought with you on vacation. Relaxation worthy of the attention of the Gods, as my husband said about this place, and I completely agree with him.

Thap Ba is located 15 minutes from the center of Nha Trang at the address: no. 15 Ngoc Son, Ngoc Hiep.

Opening hours from 7 am to 19 pm. Because the place is very popular, I advise you to come from 12 to 15 hours, at this time there are fewer people.

How to get there:

  • Again the most touristy bus route 4, stop at the towers of Po Nagar, and then 2.5 km on foot.
  • Or by transfer from Thap Ba. It can be ordered at the hotel reception, everything will be organized for you. The cost is 1.5 dollars.

Later, we also visited I-Resort, another corner of Nha Trang, full of warm pools, therapeutic mud, providing a range of pleasant body treatments. I would not compare 2 mud baths, if only because each of these places is full of its charms.

Zoklet beach and surroundings

We took a separate voyage towards the popular Nha Trang beach - Zoklet or Doklet, as you like. Here, on the salt fields of Nha Trang "Hon Khoi", the Vietnamese "snow queen" creates bizarre creations from snow-white salt crystals.

You can’t get snow in Vietnam in winter, but the salt fields flooded with sea water are very similar to the halls of the ice goddess, only salt dried under the hot sun becomes the material for creating miracle palaces.

In these fields, the Vietnamese extract salt from January to June. It takes about an hour to get here from the center of Nha Trang, Khon Khoi is on the way to Zoklet beach. Many photographers come here for beautiful pictures.

We have not ignored trio of waterfalls Ba Ho (Baho). True, we had the patience to get acquainted with only 1 of the water brothers, we were too lazy to get to the rest along the difficult mountain road. A trip to the Doklet beach is suitable for lovers of extreme and exotic.

The first secret of how to save money on excursions is to take them with an analog guide. For example, the cost of the excursion "Four Islands", so popular, is forty dollars, and the price is only that you will be accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide. At the same time, he said that you can do without it, the cost of the tour will be only six dollars, that is, as much as thirty-four dollars cheaper. If the guide's story is not so important to you, which by the way you will forget in a couple of days, then this is a good opportunity to save a lot of money. And also to practice your English is a great chance.

Of the excursions that are worth a visit, feel free to take snorkeling. This is an amazingly colorful underwater world, which you have to observe without any special skills, and at the same time it is always interesting and even if you don’t see large coral reefs, as in Egypt, for example, the impressions will remain colorful. The cost of such an excursion, as a rule, ranges from 300,000 to 40,000 thousand VND.

One of the most interesting excursions can be considered an excursion to the island of monkeys, no doubt there will be many pleasant memories. But here you should be extremely careful, because the monkeys there are very aggressive. One of the islands of Vietnam was once even closed, all because of the frequent attacks on tourists by wild flocks of monkeys. Don't get too close to the animals, or take a couple of packs of cookies with you on the tour, so you can pay off the monkeys.

If you want to try extreme entertainment or diving, then remember that you can only rely on yourself in this matter. Diving is practiced in Borneo and other designated areas. You should not hope that during the excursion someone will think about your health, as well as when immersed in water. But if you are a tough nut to crack and are not afraid of anything, then of course go for it.

But, as for excursions that you should not go to, it is: a city tour, an excursion called "Religious Triangle", "Four Islands" and "Thap Ba" mud bath. But first things first. Do not waste money on a city tour, as you will be driven around the city all day long, taken to the Cham Towers, the Oceanographic Museum, the Long Song Pagoda and other places. At the same time, you will need to pay for this from fifty dollars for one, with a minimum number of two people. It's just a rip-off, in my opinion. Since you can hire a taxi for the same money, it will take you to the same places, but at the same time you will have freedom of movement and this way you will see the real Nha Trang.

As for the excursion "Religious Triangle", then on it you will again be taken to see the Cathedral of St. Mary, the Buddhist temple of Long Son, all the same Cham towers and, in fact, that's all. All the same, only without visiting the museum of oceanography, perhaps some other temple will be included in the program. At the same time, such an excursion is not cheap, for one forty dollars, and for two seventy. Again, it is more profitable to take a taxi or rent a moped and see all these temples in the same three hours. Travel agencies offer to ride you to holy places for about five hours for big money.

The excursion "Four Islands" is not worth the money spent, in addition to the high price of the excursion, you will have to pay the entrance to each of the islands, this is due to the collection of funds for the environment. Yes, and the islands themselves are small, there is nothing to see, and the beaches are polluted due to the huge number of tourists, an oceanarium will be shown on the second island (it would be better not to disgrace) - much worse than the one in Nha Trang. Lunch on the ship is small, you won't get enough. As I wrote, with a Russian guide, the tour costs forty dollars.

Another divorce in Russian can be called a trip to the mud bath. This excursion can be compared with a trip to a beauty salon in Moscow. Take a taxi and show the driver where you want to go, come and pay for the procedures you want to try. At the same time, the cost of a taxi is an average of ten dollars. But travel agencies manage to take fifty dollars from one for such an excursion if you go on an excursion together and seventy dollars if one person.

You should not take a bike ride around Nha Trang, unless you are an athlete, of course, since the sun bakes almost all day, except that you can still somehow endure the morning, but don’t bother at lunchtime - burn yourself and, God forbid, grab a sunstroke.

It would be strange to overcome thousands of kilometers to be in the Vietnamese resort of Nha Trang, and upon arrival spend all day by the ocean. Of course, the beaches of Nha Trang deserve all praise and attention: endless mounds of snow-white sand, sparkling azure ocean, slender palm trees rushing skyward - a truly heavenly vacation. But people come to Nha Trang not only for the sake of beaches and sun, the city has a huge historical heritage, its architecture is extremely interesting, and its culture is original. Acquaintance with the sights of Nha Trang will help you plunge into its special Asian atmosphere and discover an impressive number of historical and architectural monuments, interesting museums and religious shrines. For tourists with children, there are also activities related to entertainment and education.

Acquaintance with the sights of Nha Trang will help you plunge into its special Asian atmosphere and discover an impressive number of historical and architectural monuments, interesting museums and religious shrines.

Religious monuments of Nha Trang

The real pearl of the city is the Catholic Cathedral, which impresses with its monumentality of architectural forms and originality of decorative solutions. This modern cathedral in the traditional Gothic style is famous for its colorful stained glass windows, bells and huge chimes made in France.

Other religious monuments of Nha Trang are also impressive. For example, the Po Nagar Cham towers, known as a place for Hindu religious ceremonies. Of the seven towers, only four have survived to this day, and the northern tower is of the greatest interest - a fine example of Tyam architecture.

In the main hall of this tower you can see the statue of the ten-armed goddess Uma.

Long Son Pagoda is one of the attractions without visiting which it is difficult to get a complete impression of Nha Trang. Among tourists, she became famous thanks to the giant statue of Buddha, towering on a hill.

Nha Trang Islands

Traditionally, holidays in Nha Trang include sightseeing trips to nearby islands. You will be enchanted by the paradise island of Hon Tam, whose name translates as Silk Island. An ethnic village is located on its western coast, the inhabitants of which are very hospitable and friendly. Here you can learn about the peculiarities of life and traditions of the inhabitants of the Vietnamese coast.

The most pleasant experience will leave a visit to the Monkey Island, where more than 1500 primates live in the natural conditions of the reserve. A trip to the island of Hon Mieu, the main attraction of which is considered to be an aquarium made in the form of a pirate ship, will also be remembered for a long time.

Museums in Nha Trang

If you are interested in the lifestyle of the Vietnamese emperors, plan a trip to Bao Dai's villas. This is a large tourist complex, which has an exquisite park, a hotel where anyone can stay, as well as a museum with an interesting collection of furniture, royal robes and personal belongings of the former owner of the villa of Emperor Bao Dai.

The Alexandre Yersin Museum will introduce you to the life and work of the famous Vietnamese scientist Yersin, who devoted his life to studying plague microbes. The museum presents books, tools, personal belongings of the scientist.

And with the kids, you can safely go to the Institute of Oceanography, because there is not only a serious research organization, but also a huge aquarium with the inhabitants of the underwater kingdom. In addition, in the local museum you will see preserved representatives of the deep sea and many bird stuffed animals.

Nha Trang is one of the main resorts in central Vietnam. It perfectly combines classic beach holidays and excursions to picturesque national parks. The city is located along a wide bay surrounded by green mountains. Not far from the coast of Nha Trang in the South China Sea, small archipelagos are scattered, where lovers of secluded recreation and divers rush.

The tourist area of the city includes several streets where the main hotels, local restaurants, souvenir shops and numerous agencies are ready to organize an excursion to anywhere in Vietnam (and if there is enough time, even to Laos and Cambodia). If you wish, you can stroll through the local colorful markets or visit the central quarters where the townspeople live their ordinary lives.

What to see and where to go in Nha Trang?

The most interesting and beautiful places for walking. Photos and a short description.

In the 7th-12th centuries, the medieval principality of Champa (Chapma) existed on part of the territory of southern and central Vietnam. The towers of Po Nagar on Mount Ku Lao were erected in the 10th century during the heyday of this state. Only four buildings have survived to this day. The Tyam towers are a Hindu religious complex. Until now, they are a cult place for part of the Vietnamese.

The cable car connects the coast of Nha Trang with the island of Hon Che, where the Vinpearl Land amusement park, popular with tourists, is located. The length of the road is over 3 km. The design of metal supports resembles the outlines of the Eiffel Tower (due to the beautiful night illumination, an even greater resemblance to the Parisian landmark is achieved). The cable car ride lasts 10-15 minutes. During this time, the passenger has time to admire the coast and islands.

Located on the island of Khon Che, Vinpearl can be called one of the most visited attractions in the city. Hundreds of tourists go to this "land of entertainment" every day. A water park, an amusement park, an oceanarium and a slot machine hall operate on a vast territory. Visitors can relax on the beaches of a local five-star hotel, dine in one of the many restaurants, and in the evening watch a colorful fountain show.

The main Buddhist complex of the province of Khanh Hoa and at the same time a popular attraction in Nha Trang, where all the guests of the city strive to get. The architectural dominant of the pagoda is a 14-meter white Buddha statue, which is reached by a long staircase of 150 steps. This sculpture can be seen from almost anywhere in the city. Inside the pedestal on which the god sits, there is a temple.

The pagoda is located outside the city on top of a hill. Getting to it is not so easy, since the last public transport stop is an hour and a half walk from the temple. Moreover, tourists are waiting for a long climb up the mountain. But at the end of the journey, a surprise awaits all those who dare - breathtaking views of the rice fields, mountains and green surroundings of Nha Trang.

The Catholic Church of St. Mary, inherited by Vietnam from the French colonists. The cathedral houses the residence of the Bishop of Nha Trang. The building was erected in the 1930s in the Gothic style. Its façade is decorated with lancet arches, the windows are multi-colored stained-glass windows, the roof is crowned with a church tower with a clock dial. Around the cathedral there is a small courtyard with statues of the Virgin Mary and Jesus.

A lotus-shaped structure that adorns the city embankment. The real name of the building is the Incense Tower. Previously, there was a memorial in honor of the fallen defenders of Khanh Hoa province on its site. In 2008, partly at the expense of the Vinpearl Land hotel complex, an exhibition complex was erected that resembles a well-known flower in shape. Its premises are used for various exhibitions.

The museum is located in the wing of the Research Institute, which was founded by A. Yersin in 1891. In Vietnam, this scientist is highly revered. Many streets and educational institutions are named after him. He devoted his life to the study of bacteria - the causative agents of plague and other diseases. The museum exposition reproduces the atmosphere of A. Yersin's office. The collection consists of books, personal items and tools.

Long Tan is a famous Vietnamese photographer who devoted his whole life to the art of black and white photography. There is a small gallery in his house, which houses a collection of photographs that depict the daily life and life of the Vietnamese. The master filmed various subjects, starting from the middle of the 20th century. His work is distinguished by diversity, originality and expressiveness. You can buy the picture you like.

Entertainment complex located in the southern part of the city. The exposition of the museum is located on the territory of a traditional Vietnamese house. The collection consists of 3D paintings and optical illusion rooms where you can take funny photos. The museum will be of interest to visitors with children, as the tour is somewhat reminiscent of a fun game, during which you can immerse yourself in a magical “through the looking glass”.

Scientific institution engaged in the study of the deep sea since the 1920s. The institute has an oceanarium where you can look at the inhabitants of the Pacific Ocean. Stingrays, moray eels, turtles and exotic fish swim in the aquariums. On the second floor there are stuffed marine inhabitants. Part of the exposition is located in the aquariums inside the building, the other part - in the tanks on the street.

The aquarium is located on one of the islands off the coast of Nha Trang. The original building of the oceanarium is made in the form of a pirate ship. The locals called it "Neptune's Palace". Chi Nguyen was founded by a simple fisherman Le Can, who was remembered by his contemporaries for his love of nature and his country. In 1971, at his own expense, he dug a pond, where he began to breed representatives of the marine fauna. Over time, his collection grew into a large maritime museum.

The fortress is located about 10 km from Nha Trang. Presumably, it was erected in the 18th century during the reign of one of the last emperors of independent Vietnam. During the construction of the citadel, brick and marble were used. Only a part of the buildings has survived to this day, since Dien Khan was badly damaged during the French invasion. The surviving gates and part of the walls are in a fairly neglected state.

The reserve is located on the mountain of the same name, a few dozen kilometers from Nha Trang. This is a real kingdom of impenetrable green forests and foggy horizons. Most of the park is located at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level, so the local climate is very different from the coastal and plain. In the middle of the reserve on the top of the mountain stands the house-museum of Alexandre Yersin.

A visit to the Yang Bay Natural Park is included in many excursion routes. It is located about an hour from Nha Trang. Here, tourists can admire the waterfalls of Yang Kan, Yang Bei and HoCho, feed the crocodiles, ride an ostrich and watch the musical performance of the local Raglai tribe. Also, for visitors, such entertainments as pig races and cockfights are arranged.

Ba Ho is a group of three waterfalls located in the vicinity of Zoklet Beach. To get to this natural attraction, you need to overcome a rather difficult road that passes through the mountainous area. Most tourists limit themselves to visiting the first waterfall out of three, only a few reach the last one, since only physically hardy people can overcome the path to it.

During the period of Soviet-Vietnamese friendship, monkeys were bred on this island to be sent to the USSR. Then the supplies were stopped and the animals flooded the entire territory. Now Monkey Island is a protected area, a real “kingdom of monkeys”, where, according to various estimates, more than 1,500 individuals live. For tourists, entertainment shows are organized here, cafes and restaurants are open, and a beach is also equipped.

Almost the entire territory of Hon Mun Island is classified as a protected area and is under the auspices of the World Wildlife Fund. People come here not only to relax on the white sandy beaches. The coastal waters of Hon Mun are inhabited by amazing marine life, so all tourists who want to scuba dive and enjoy the beauty of the underwater world flock to the island.

A large spa center near the Po Nagar temple complex. It is located in a picturesque area surrounded by eucalyptus groves and flowering gardens. In Thap Ba you can spend the whole day taking healing hot baths, swimming in pools and enjoying healing treatments. Local healing mud helps with many ailments. After visiting the resort, tourists can purchase jars of this substance as a souvenir.

Another "mud bath" of Nha Trang, which is worthy of competition with the sources of Thap Ba. Packages of services are available to visitors, which include various procedures. A visit to I-Resort is a great alternative to a beach holiday, especially on a cloudy day (the water in the pools of the center is always warm). The main pool of the complex is stylized as a sea beach with white sand.

A new spa resort that opened in 2012. The complex covers an area of 23 hectares. Here, in addition to pools and hot springs, there is a botanical garden, a zoo, an impromptu ethnic village, a temple and observation decks with magnificent views. The name "100 eggs" is associated with the legend of the love of a dragon and a magical bird. From the eggs laid by the bird, one hundred nationalities of Vietnam subsequently hatched.

Hon Chong is located in the server part of Nha Trang. The cape is strewn with stones of all possible sizes and shapes. Sometimes the blocks are assembled into bizarre figures, against which spectacular photographs are obtained. In the local souvenir shop, you can buy a picture made of stones as a keepsake. The cape offers breathtaking views of the expanses of the South China Sea, especially during sunrise and sunset.

On the fields of Khon Khoi, industrial salt mining is carried out. They are located about 50 km from Nha Trang near Zoklet beach. Plantations are flooded with sea water, which evaporates within a few days and leaves snow-white crystals. After that, the salt is collected and sent for processing. Work is carried out in the morning hours, since the salt collected in the very heat is considered unsuitable for consumption.

Zoklet is considered one of the best beaches in Nha Trang and the surrounding area. It is located 50 km north of the city. You can get there by taxi, bike or public transport. Tourists appreciate this place for the beauty of the scenery, the clear sea and the opportunity to be in relative seclusion, as there are usually few people here. Zoklet is ideal for families with children due to its gentle slope and shallow sea depth.

The city beach stretches for several kilometers along the sea line. It is free, but you will have to pay for the rental of sun loungers and umbrellas belonging to the hotels. A stone-paved promenade with squares and equipped places for recreation leads along the beach. In its attempt to recreate a replica of the old Long Son Temple, the pagoda has undergone many restorations interrupted by the Vietnam War and civil unrest. The White Buddha was built much later, in 1964. Today it is also a functioning monastery with a school for monks. An impressive three-level covered entrance, decorated with dragon mosaics, leads to a large temple. Behind the temple, 152 steps lead to Long Son Pagoda's main attraction, a 24-meter white Buddha statue seated on a lotus throne. From the observation deck at the base of the white Buddha, visitors can enjoy bird's eye views of Nha Trang and the sea.
