How to get and leave Simferopol Airport by public transport

The new terminal of the Simferopol airport was opened only in April, so for now, tourists (and residents of the peninsula) can easily get confused about how to leave the airport terminal.

Please note: public transport runs to both the new and the old terminal, however, planes only fly in and out from the new one. A bus station continues to operate in the old terminal. Most of the buses leaving the bus stations of Crimean cities come here. To get from the old terminal to the new one, you need to take bus number 77, it runs every 10 minutes. You can also use the services of taxi drivers - they will bring for 100-150 rubles. We do not recommend walking on foot - the distance is very large.

Important life hack! You can get to some cities by transit buses! For example, all flights leaving the airport to Sevastopol pass through Bakhchisarai (until the Tavrida highway is ready). Important: most likely, the situation in the summer months will be corrected, but as of May 2019, it was far from all the flights announced in the Fly & Bus schedule that could leave the new airport in Simferopol. Apparently, if there are few passengers on arriving flights, buses leave less often.

How expensive is it to take a taxi from Simferopol airport?

On average, prices are 5-10 times higher than if you go by bus (depending on the remoteness of the destination city). Unfortunately, taxi drivers in the new airport terminal in Simferopol are very intrusive and do not always tell the truth (for example, they say that the nearest bus will be in many hours).
