Kabardinka has rather low humidity, a large number of clear hot days in the summer, a warm sea, all this creates ideal conditions for a beach and recreation. The swimming season lasts from May to October.

Kabardinsky district

Kabardinka is a village that appeared back in 1836. It originally existed as a military fortification, since the place is protected on both sides by mountains. Over time, Kabardinka gradually became a resort village, this happened after the opening of the railway to Novorossiysk in 1855.

Since the 60s, construction of children's camps and resorts began here. Kabardinka has established itself as a family resort, where you can relax and improve your health with health benefits.

Today, Kabardinka is a great place not only for children and families, now you can relax, have fun with young people and large companies. In addition to a large number of sightseeing tours and a variety of entertainment, here, as before, you can significantly improve your health by taking a course of treatment in one of the sanatoriums.

One of the advantages of the resort is its location. From the Gelendzhik airport to the village can be reached in just 20 minutes. And also the fact that the cultural program is very diverse here, various festivals and concerts are often held in Kabardinka, which makes it possible to diversify your leisure time on vacation.

Moreover, the village of Kabardinka is only on paper, in fact it is a very developed resort, where there are five-star hotel complexes, many boarding houses, guest houses and sanatoriums, as well as attractions and the opportunity to walk through nature untouched by man, admire beautiful views.

For example, here you can go to the Old Park, where prototypes of light — sphinxes, Egyptian pyramids, and ancient sculptures — are collected in a small area. Or visit Kastalsky font located in the juniper forest, which is located on the Markhott range. It will be no less interesting to stroll along the relict pine grove. The healing air and amazing atmosphere prevailing here will not leave indifferent not only nature lovers, but also those who are usually indifferent to it.

Resort Climate

Kabardinka is the leader among the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory by the number of sunny days. Summer is very hot, and winters are quite warm, with an average daytime summer temperature of 24 ° C, and nighttime about 14 ° C. The total annual temperature is 12.6 ° C. The coldest months of the year are February and March.

On three sides, Kabardinka is surrounded by mountain ranges, which make the climate as soft and pleasant as it is. In addition, this is the driest place on the Black Sea coast.

The sea, mountains and forests have created a unique moist, temperate and at the same time mountain-marine climate, perfect for treatment and relaxation. Kabardinka is often compared with the south of Crimea, since there are a huge number of sunny days and almost no fogs. Strong winds occur only in spring and autumn. The peak of the heat occurs in July and August. From April to November, Kabardinka is the best place to relax, while the sea breeze helps to transfer the hot sun very easily.

Juniper forests lie on the southern slope. They occupy a huge area of 994 hectares. Three of the species of junipers that grow here are listed in the Red Book of Russia. It is thanks to the juniper that it is so therapeutic here, saturated with essential antiseptic substances. During the day, one hectare of juniper produces approximately 30 kg of phytoncides. Such a quantity would be enough to purify the air of a small town, which undoubtedly indicates how clean and healthy the rest is at this resort.

Here, children will find something to do and take with them many good memories.

A very interesting place is the “Old Park”, well-known throughout the Krasnodar Territory. Some tourists come to Kabardinka just to visit it. Here, on twenty acres of land, talented sculptors erected fancy buildings that are built in a variety of styles. In these buildings, seemingly incompatible styles are collected: baroque, modern, ancient sculptures, pyramids and much more. There is a fountain in the park, monuments and stones that carry the wisdom of centuries, sculptures that make you freeze with delight. And all this is surrounded by greenery and flowers.

Memorable places in Kabardinka and its environs

During the Great Patriotic War, Kabardinka and the front line were separated only 20 km. The Black Sea coast was engulfed in fierce battles, in which more than 4 thousand local residents died. In memory of their feat on the central square of the resort village, a War Memorial was erected. It is located north of the bus station and the intersection of Revolutionary and Mira streets. Every year on May 9, crowded rallies are held near the memorial, in which relatives of the victims take part.

In one of the most difficult periods of World War II, to strengthen the firepower of the front, 3.5 km from Kabardinka, on the way to Novorossiysk, a fortified artillery battery was placed. Powerful ship guns and reinforced concrete pillboxes were installed on the shore.

War Memorial "Zubkov Battery" War Memorial "Zubkov Battery"

The place was chosen well, and the artillerymen, under the leadership of Captain Andrei Emanuelovich Zubkov, could control the entire water area of the Tsemess Bay. They kept enemy ships under constant aimed fire and did not allow them to approach the Novorossiysk moorings. The fearless commander Zubkov was even called the “port manager”.

The Germans bombed the battery non-stop, and aircraft with air bombs flew over the fortifications, day and night. A lot of combat crews died here, and several times the guns themselves had to be changed. And when short breaks fell out, front-line artists came to the battery. Today, a memorial stands at the place where the gunners fought near the Don highway. It consists of a ship’s cannon, an entrance to the artillery cellar, a bunker and a military cemetery, where the dead soldiers are buried.

In Kabardinka itself, on a prominent and steep Cape Doob, a monument was erected in honor of those killed on the ship "Admiral Nakhimov." A large passenger ship sank on the night of August 31 to September 1, 1986. During the disaster, about a third of all who were on it were not saved, and 423 people drowned in the waters of the bay. The composition, reminiscent of the tragedy, was created a year after what happened. At the memorial, you can see the clock raised from the seabed. They show the time when the ship began to sink. About 2 miles from the resort village, a black barrel is installed at anchor in the waters of the Tsemess Bay. She marks the site of the disaster and is clearly visible from the cape in fine weather.

Its members came here five years earlier from Turkey and brought to Kabardinka an icon depicting a saint.

Unfortunately, the first temple building was not preserved. In 1937, during the active anti-religious campaign conducted by the Soviet government, it was completely destroyed. That church, which can be seen today, was built in the 1990s. The ancient icon has been preserved, and today it is exhibited inside the temple under glass. The church building is open daily to all comers - both believers and tourists. Divine services are held on Fridays, weekends and holidays.

Last weekend, summer ended and it got colder, but by Saturday again
warmed, and the web flew. I thought Indian summer is over
last week, but it turned out - it has just begun. Swimming yesterday
and sunbathed. By three o’clock I was tired of sunbathing. Heard how hefty
uncle (apparently a coach) sent a herd of young guys (apparently sports
camp) uphill. He told them that in half an hour he was waiting for them at the viewing
a platform with grilled chickens and a camera. Will feed and
take pictures.
I thought that once on foot trained guys will get there in
half an hour, then on a bicycle I can also drop in somewhere. And went
on mountain. To the other. There are many mountains around Kabardinka. From the south, Cape Doob, with
north Mhothotsky ridge. What mountain is called, I haven’t
found. Only peaks are indicated on the map, and not all, no names.
Though invent them yourself. All are visible from our windows.

I was at Doobe about a month ago. Not at the very top, but on the adjacent mountains.
Photographed a view of Kabardinka towards the North. Now it's time
take pictures towards the South.
The map shows only one road towards the Markhot ridge,
but in fact they are here every five hundred meters along the road. Which
of them leads to the Kabardn Pass, which is indicated on the map,
it is not clear. I asked the aunt I met, she replied that the cards
never seen. I went along the first path.
Each road leads to the ridge, each with its own special look. Photos
turned out bad. Against the sun. Everything is unsharp, in a haze and lit up. AND
impressions received good. Handsomely. Interesting. And not far. Only for
forty minutes from the house - the top of a small mountain. And after her another. Must
on occasion will surround the neighborhood. The map closest to ours
the house is marked with a peak of 250m.
It is interesting that when climbing Kabardinka itself is becoming worse and worse. When the height
good enough to capture the village and bay
