Myskhako. Rest in Myskhako Myskhako description

Do you like narrow pebbly beaches closely pressed against mountain ridges? Myskhako is your best option for mattress rest. A garden-resort village is a location whose residential sectors are scattered to the west and south-west of the Yuzhny urban area (Novorossiysk district). Among people who know, it has long gained the fame of well-groomed, associated with the Beaujolais variety (here they began to organize Beaujolais Day every year). Myskhako is also famous for its rocky cliffs. It is they who divide the bathing area into separate sections, or rather into five different water areas.

"Western" beach of the village

You drove up along Novorossiyskaya street and just passed Zarechnaya? Go down to the water where the street begins. Turquoise, for which you have to go past the gray-gray huge mansion-estate. Appreciate the coastal virtues of the western half of this small community.

There is very little horizontal surface, its depth is no more than 12 m. The stones here are huge, but between them there are also fragments of medium-sized pebbles. In summer there is a mini-cafe. In one corner, a short comfortable stone staircase leads to the sea. The beach stretches for 460 m, which is a lot.

The main embankment of Myskhako

This "bath" is a kind of "central" beach of Myskhako. Where the coast turns sharply to the north, Parkovaya, Sadovaya and Primorskaya streets lead out. Nearby you will find the House Inn spa hotel, several luxury guesthouses, as well as the local recreation center.

The edge has a record width for a resort village - up to 60 m. Recently, large-scale landscaping work has been carried out here. There is an asphalt road. Entry into the water is convenient, it is quite clean. Sunbeds and deck chairs are available for rent. There were locker rooms and paid toilets.

Inflatable water rides, seasonal mini-cafes, food and souvenir stalls continue to operate. Another local feature is parking spaces at the end of Parkovaya. The length is 520 m. There are three garbage cans on the beach.

"Wild" coast in Myskhako

Relatively comfortable swimming areas are found between the "Western" and "Central" beaches. Oddly enough, the street called Central leads here - this is the main landmark. It is worth pointing out: the exit from it is wide and smooth.

Although this fragment of the coast consists of large pebbles and dangerous stones, auto travelers adore it (and we voiced the reasons above).

The primordial nature has prepared many convenient campsites. Here you can see all kinds of fish. Visitors are especially pleased with the ubiquitous crabs. The entry into the sea here is extremely smooth, the water is clear. The length of the beach is 450 m.

Nudist beach near Mount Koldun

The most "obscene" piece of the local Riviera is located in the far West - between the named settlement and the resort. This point is hidden behind impregnable curves of the rocky wall. Swimming people can only be seen from the sea.

The "Podgornaya" strip, which was discussed, stretched under the entire sole of the hill - almost 3 km (from the dead end of Zarechny lane in Myskhako to the Maistrenko sanatorium in Shirokaya Balka). The width of the coast ranges from 5 to 10 m. In a certain area in a continuous array, you can find a hole.

She can shelter a nudist who has stood up here “to wait” from all winds, except for the south. In addition to fairly large pebbles, you should be afraid of large boulders, especially underwater ones. The rock has an average angle of "underwater descent" and clear water.

The beach of the hotel "Myskhako"

The northwestern beaches of Myskhako are beautiful and fashionable corners of the coast. The one that already fits in the village is accessible thanks to the lane. Coastal or st. Border. To the east of the Sorcerer, the well-known are concentrated. The seaside patch belonging to the specified hotel is constantly clean and fenced. The coast here is flat and already cleared of boulders. Its infrastructure includes:

  • locker rooms;
  • rental of sun loungers and parasols;
  • toilets;
  • garbage containers;
  • gangway.

This zone is rather short, being, in fact, a continuation of the "Central" beach. There are no shops or cafes here. This fact repels some visitors from this place. However, many, on the contrary, regard this phenomenon as a virtue. The nearest kilometer of the surrounding area gives dozens of chances to check into inexpensive family hotels, where you can have a good rest even with small children. Specifically, the Myskhako country hotel offers affordable, spacious rooms of 35 sq. m. To the beach, its guests go along the path and the Coastal Lane.

Beaches on the map of Myskhako

Please note: our photos show the beaches of the village of Myskhako in their current state. Reviews say everything about them. Some people, for example, are happy to tell their friends about the “cleanest sea”, while others groan “There are no umbrellas here!”.

Living conditions in Myskhako are fundamentally different from other settlements and cities of the Caucasian coast. Firstly, there are no traditional hotels and sanatoriums. All of them are located in other microdistricts of Novorossiysk. Secondly, there are no traditional mini-hotels and guest houses here. Myskhako is a cottage area in which the owners either come for a while or live permanently. That is, only the private sector can be rented here. Long-term rent of the whole cottage is quite common, although you can also rent a room for a few days. Rest in Myskhako at prices for 2019 will cost you a little cheaper compared to housing of a similar level in other resort cities. But the village should not be considered cheap. So far, there is not a lot of housing that is regularly rented out, but there is an active development of the coast.

How to get there

The village is the southernmost suburb of Novorossiysk, from which to the central part is about 6 km. The buildings of the village are located on the eastern slopes of Mount Koldun, the height of which is 447m. On the western side of the village is Cape Myskhako, considered one of the most picturesque places in the Caucasus, overlooking the Tsemess Bay and Novorossiysk.

To get to Myskhako, you should get to Novorossiysk in any convenient way. It can be done:

  • by rail. There are many long-distance trains to Novorossiysk;
  • by air. The nearest airport, located 60 km from the settlement is Anapa. You can also fly through Gelendzhik;
  • by sea. Passenger flights operate from the main coastal cities during the season;
  • by car. The federal highway M25-M4 goes to Novorossiysk;

Three bus routes are organized from the city center to the village or you can take a taxi.

general information

Myskhako is considered a village and is part of the Novorossiysk district of the Krasnodar Territory. In fact, this is already one of the microdistricts of the city, which is considered a cottage zone. There are many private houses that are bought out as a summer residence or for rent. This indirectly affected the number of local residents, of which there are almost 8,000 people, although not everyone lives in the village permanently. In addition to the resort area, Myskhako is also famous for its wines. On the territory of the village is one of the oldest wineries in Russia with the same name. Grapes began to grow and process here as early as 1869, i.e. almost immediately after the annexation of the territory to the Russian Empire. With the origin of the name, everything is simple, it is translated from Adyghe as "a cape that goes into the sea." Rest in Myskhako is a great opportunity to enjoy the local views, swim in the warm and clear sea, and taste high-quality Caucasian wine. At least for drinks, vacationers from all over the coast come here.

Things to do

Those who choose to rest in Myskhako can count on quite a large selection of different pastime options. Firstly, the center of Novorossiysk is a 10-minute drive or an hour's walk, and there is a huge variety of diverse entertainment. Secondly, along the coast there are many unique corners known throughout the country. The same factory of sparkling wines in Abrau-Dyurso. However, Myskhako is also a heavenly place for wine lovers. An excursion and tasting at a local winery should be included in the mandatory visit program for you. There is even an annual festival of young wine "Beaujolais Nouveau", however, this takes place in November. For admirers of a healthy lifestyle, there are hikes to Mount Koldun and excursions to Cape Myskhako, from which you can see not only the bay and Novorossiysk, but even Kabardinka.

Beaches

The beaches of Myskhako can be conditionally divided into three zones. They are all covered with small and medium pebbles. The main equipped beach is Central. There is a full range of services, and the entrance to the sea is gentle and even. But the beach is small. Its length is about 350 m along the eastern part of the cape. A whole series of wild beaches follows in the direction of Shirokaya Balka, from classic pebble to stone cliffs at the meeting point of mountains and the sea. Between the Central Beach and the wild beaches are the so-called beaches of the right side. These are typical settlement areas for swimming and recreation with a minimum degree of equipment.

The main specialization of the local economy is the production of wines, which dates back to 1869. Today, one of the largest and oldest wineries operates in the village - CJSC Agrofirma Myskhako, which holds a young wine festival called Beaujolais Nouveau every year. The enterprise is engaged in the supply of wines to the Kremlin, it is difficult to purchase the products of this plant, since the drinks are produced in small quantities.

The most popular is Central. At first glance, it may seem very small, but its length is about 350 m. Further along the coast, you can find wild beaches, but they have a lot of stones.
