Getting and extending temporary asylum for Ukrainians

Providing temporary asylum is a way to support foreign citizens who have become victims of persecution in a country of residence for various reasons (political, national, religious). It is also a way to protect people who live in places of hostilities. The article will understand how the procedure of obtaining is being received, what kind of references are necessary for this, as the prolongation of temporary asylum for citizens of Ukraine in 2019.

Migrants to Russia are submitted to the territorial bodies of the LUCHM of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (FMS).

To get a refuge, an application is submitted, and documents are presented:

Obtaining

With a positive consideration of the application, a foreigner receives a testimony that will replace him with a certificate of identity. The National Passport is kept in UMM (previously - FMS).

Upon receipt of the certificate, a foreign citizen fills the questionnaire, a medical examination is undergoing. The immigrants are issued certificates about the passage of medical examination.

Simplified receipt

Due to the complex domestic political situation in Ukraine, the citizens of this country are provided with special conditions for obtaining temporary asylum. Due to this, the preparation procedure passes faster.

Requirements for applicants:

1. Permanent accommodation in Ukraine. That is, it is not enough to have Ukrainian citizenship. It is necessary that the candidate for help constantly lived in Ukraine, before moving to the Russian Federation. It does not matter in which region a foreigner lived in the country.
2. Crossing the border of the Russian Federation. A resident of Ukraine must come to the territory of the Russian Federation. After arriving in Russia, a foreigner will be interviewed with an employee of the Department of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (legal entrepreneur of the Federal Migration Service). In this case, it will be necessary to inform the purpose of his visit, to confirm its documented.
3. Apply. This can be done in any region of Russia with the exception of Moscow and the Moscow region. Applications filed in the Moscow region are not considered in a simplified manner. Only those immigrants from Ukraine, who live in this region in close relatives (parents, children, brothers, sisters) can count on simplified consideration of the application.

The main feature of the assignment of the certificate to Ukrainians is the timing of consideration of their application: the decision is made within 3 days. Even if visitors have no identity cards, the period of consideration of documents does not change towards the increase. In this situation, umm (FMS) employees independently do the identity of the applicant.

What time is the term

Temporary refuge is available for a period of no more than a year. After this time, if the reasons that served as the basis for issuing are relevant - the status is prolonged.

Citizens who have received the right to be in the country are not entitled to leave the territory of Russia.

Statement

For residence permit to be extended, a foreigner must apply. The application is given a month. Both during primary feed, and at the extension, the state duty for filing an application from a foreign citizen is not charged.

Extension

After 1 year, a foreigner needs to submit a petition for the extension of its status. If the reasons for which a citizen of Ukraine received it was relevant and during his stay in Russia he did not violate the laws of the state - its status is prolonged.

Refusal to extend

If a citizen of Ukraine, who received the status, went beyond the limits of the Russian Federation, he loses its status and he needs to re-undergo a procedure for obtaining temporary refuge.

If temporary refuge ended, it can be denied in its extension if:

1. The fighting is completed, and the migranet may return to his country.
2. The foreigner received the citizenship of another country.
3. During his stay in the Russian Federation, the settlearer was attracted to criminal responsibility.
4. Inquisitive information was found in the applicant's documents.
