How to make tackle for fish. Fishing gear. DIY or DIY fishing tackle

Making fishing gear with your own hands, as well as catching fish itself, is an exciting process. Professional fishermen improve their skills, creating high-quality tackle that increases the catch tenfold. A variety of techniques are used for this. All available tools for fishing will always be individual and unique, since do-it-yourself fishing tackle is a purely creative process.

Materials needed for work

  • Wood (planks or bars). Wobblers or poppers can be cut out of it.
  • Metal plates - suitable for the petals of spinners.
  • Various wires to create bindings and rings for our lures.

Frequently used tools

  • hammer;
  • saw;
  • sandpaper;
  • file;
  • primer;
  • paints;

Making wobblers

To make a wobbler with your own hands, hardwood 5 cm long is used in the form of an oval, narrowed on one side.

  1. To begin with, we get a blank by sawing off a 1.5 cm bar from the main board.
  2. On the bar we draw the outline of the future wobbler fish with a pencil, after which all the excess is gradually cut off with a knife.
  3. In the front part, as shown in the figure, we first mark with a pencil, then we cut out the cavity for the future blade.
  4. The belly is also sawn along the entire length of the wobbler, where we will insert the mount, which is made of wire, as shown in the figure.

    1. It is desirable to use a wire made of stainless steel. 2. If you do not want to use rings for fastening tees, take care of inserting them before twisting the wire into rings.

  5. We insert the wire mount, pouring epoxy glue.
  6. The wobbler is covered with waterproof varnish, and after drying, tees are hung on it.
  7. To select the level of buoyancy, lead weights are used, which are attached to the openings of the abdomen between two loops: nasal and abdominal. Then the wobbler can be sanded and varnished so that its body does not absorb water.
  8. With the help of thin and soft aluminum, a blade is created from under the cans for drinks, which is glued into the wobbler.

Production of oscillating baubles (oscillators)

Oscillating baubles or spoon lures can also be made by hand.

For their manufacture use:

  • cruciform hammer with balls at the ends with a metal handle;
  • wooden boards with a recess in the form of a spoon;
  • rubberized steel shaft for "rolling" part of the product;
  • metal ball;
  • drill and drills;
  • hacksaw for metal;
  • steel stylus.

How to make a oscillating petal:

  1. On cardboard, create the desired fixture template.
  2. Draw a contour with a stylus on a sheet of metal with a given thickness of 1.5 mm.
  3. Then the sheet is clamped, and the template is cut out with a hacksaw.
  4. The workpiece is fixed in the recess of the board, beaten off with a hammer, rolled to strengthen one of the sides of the spinner.
  5. They fix it with a hammer.
  6. Remove uneven edges and create holes for factory-type rings.

spinners

Wire. You need a spinner frame based on hard-type stainless steel wire with a length of at least 100 mm. Diameter - 0.8 mm. The curved shape of the wire is straightened with pliers, slings and chocks.

Petal. Aluminum from 0.33 l cans can be used as a petal. You can even cut a petal with scissors, aluminum is very soft. Holes for inserting the petal onto the main wire are made with a thick needle in conjunction with pliers.

Construction assembly

  1. A ring is created at one end of the wire by bending the end of the wire with pliers.
  2. Then the bead is put on.
  3. Then a petal.
  4. Then another bead.

If you want to make your lure heavier for fishing at depth, use a longer wire and insert a sinker with a hole between steps 4 and 5.

5. A tee is inserted and a ring is created in which this very tee will be. Or you can use small rings, for example, to change the tee to the front sight.

Homemade castmaster

Castmaster is made independently on the basis of a metal hollow tube with a cross section of 16 mm (for example, a spout from a faucet mixer) and lead. As improvised tools, a hacksaw, a drill, a drill (D 2.5 or 3 mm), a flat file, a vice and a caliper are used, including the original castmaster model.

The vise is clamped into the pipe, the workpiece is sawn off, the cut angle is made as in the original castmaster and measurements. Holes are drilled exactly in the middle at the ends of the workpiece, and on the inside it is tinned so that the lead does not fly out during fishing. The holes are sealed with masking tape, after which the workpiece is placed on a flat surface to dry, the remaining gaps are covered with molten tin using an electric soldering iron. If necessary, they are processed with sandpaper and lead is drilled through the holes on the metal tube.

Balancer for winter fishing or plumb fishing

A homemade balancer is a voluminous bait in the form of a real fish. It is created on the basis of alloys and low-melting metal. Hooks are placed in the head or tail of the fish, pointing the sharp end up. The back and abdomen have two loops. One for attaching to a fishing line, the other for a threesome.

Foam in the shape of a fish

Homemade bait foam rubber fish of domestic know-how. Household sponges of various colors are required. Before processing, moisten and squeeze. With the help of a blade, the necessary bar of a certain shape is cut off - in the form of a fish 3-8 cm in size. Then it is painted with waterproof markers, or not painted, now you can buy sponges for every taste and color in stores.

The jig head is attached without the intervention of glue. And if you want to fix a tee in the fish, you need to make a small incision - insert the tee and seal it with waterproof glue.

Making mormyshkas with your own hands

Homemade jigs are made using casting (lead, lead-tin alloys), soldering (tin and lead-containing alloys), tooling (tungsten). The last method at home cannot be used.

A form is needed, which can be made from gypsum poured into matchboxes, and put a mormyshka in the center. After the gypsum has dried, remove the mormyshka, clean it of irregularities and cut channels for supplying tin to the hollow area for the future mormyshka.

It must be remembered that lead is a toxic alloy and it is better to melt in nature or in a special mask so as not to inhale fumes.

Homemade sinkers

Sinkers are cast by analogy with a mormyshka. A form for pouring lead is required.

It is made from a large sinker, into which a ring with a small notch is soldered, as shown in the figure. Such an incision will allow you to insert the fishing line of your tackle without breaking the tackle. And it is advisable to use a strong fishing line for the retriever, you can use a braided cord, or a nylon thread.

Electronic bite alarms

To create a home-made electronic bite signaling device, you need electronic and bite signaling devices (in the form of a bright plastic barrel with a latch) that have a rod mount and a bicycle spoke. A needle is attached to the signaling device roller, and a barrel is fixed on it on the other side. The specified design is attached to the rod stand.

Artificial baits (baits)

For fishing with a float rod, artificial baits imitating a worm, maggot are sometimes used. Such baits should smell appropriate, so take care to wet the bait with a very small amount of flavoring. For example: garlic drops, anise, vanilla.

When there are no attachments for fishing, professional fishermen use artificial baits:

  • wet and dry flies based on wool, feathers, colored threads;
  • bugs based on cork or foam;
  • "goat beard".

Summing up

In the manufacture of fishing tackle, you can use any handy means. And there can be a great many variations of baits and rigs. It is not at all necessary to do as others do and as described in the manuals. The main thing is to understand what the final product is like, and then come up with an alternative solution for making a similar bait.

A lot of fishermen love float gear for crucian carp, and even more love to catch them. And there is a logical explanation for this. Such great popularity of float fishing due to several points:

  • it is very simple and will appeal to all beginners;
  • one of the most accessible types of fishing;
  • budget equipment;
  • float gear can be used all year round;
  • one of the most enjoyable activities.

Winter fishing for carp on a float has a slightly different character, so we'll talk about it another time. Today we will talk about float gear for catching crucian carp in open water.

As soon as the heat comes, the fish immediately goes to the algae. Where she spends most of her time, there she feeds and hides from predators. This forces fishermen to cast long distances in order to cross the border of clear water and vegetation. This is where pole or match rods can help. Well, if you have a boat, then you can also fish with a fly rod somewhere in the thickets of water lilies.

In order for your fishing to be successful, you need to choose the right gear, prepare the bait, choose the right place and choose the bait.

We will consider the manufacture of tackle on a sliding float. This installation will help deliver your bait over long distances.

There is nothing particularly difficult in the manufacture of gear. And when they ask you how to make tackle for catching crucian carp on a float rod? Feel free to answer. To do this, it is necessary to highlight a few significant nuances and that's it, the tackle is almost ready.

A locking knot is used to adjust the depth, this method is suitable if you plan to fish in one place for a long time and the depth does not change there. If the depth of fishing will change, it is recommended to use rubber stoppers. There is one big minus, when casting, these stoppers cling to the rings and you are unlikely to be able to cast far.

Therefore, consider the installation of a locking unit for a sliding float. It does not interfere with casting in any way and slips through the rings. To tie such a van knot, you will need 15 centimeters of fishing line, the same as the main one. Instructions for tying a stop knot for float gear are provided in the picture below.

Some fishermen tie a knot on wire insulation or a plastic tube, they say it’s more convenient, but I haven’t personally tested it. You can check and write in the comments your opinion on this matter. Then the main line is threaded onto this tube and the knot is pulled onto the line, similar to the scheme for putting on a silicone stopper.

They say that the knot must be moistened before being tightened. Allegedly, this helps to avoid deformation of the fishing line, but I have never done this and nothing has been deformed for me. The ends of the knot should not be cut off at the very edge, leave 3 centimeters each, they will not interfere, and the knot will be more reliable.

Better to see once than hear a hundred times. I suggest you watch a video on how to make tackle for catching crucian carp on a float rod. It shows in detail the scheme for tying a stop knot and discusses the main points in this process.

The main difficulty in making tackle is tying a stop knot, but now that it is tied, the easiest thing remains for you. We pass a swivel through the main line, to which we then attach a float. The swivels help the float slide freely on the line without damaging it.

Now you have to choose which weight to use. In the case of using a sliding sinker (for example, in the shape of an olive), it must be threaded immediately behind the swivel. There are no problems with putting on sinkers in the form of shots, they can be put on after mounting the equipment.

And now at the end of the fishing line we tie a loop for attaching leashes or a swivel. To whom it is more convenient, I prefer the loop. You can read about how to attach hooks below.

No one knows for sure the exact answer to the question: what kind of bait will be more effective today? Therefore, fishermen quite often use float tackle for crucian carp with two hooks. This helps save precious time on the selection of the most catchy bait, for example, you can put a maggot on one hook, and a decoy on the second.

There are a lot of options for making float gear with two hooks. But I will consider only those that I have tested on myself and that I liked the most. And if it seems to you that such a float tackle will be too difficult for catching crucian carp, then it just seems to you. All the time spent on tying knots and attaching hooks pays off with a good catch.

Let's move closer to the montages and look at each of them in more detail.

1. Hook lead is positioned just behind the sinker. The most common type of float tackle and probably the easiest. I don’t know exactly why, but most of the fishermen prefer to fish with it. This installation makes the tackle quite sensitive, but it is only suitable for catching active crucian carp, in order to lure sluggish fish, you will need to experiment a little.

2. Float tackle for crucian carp with two hooks on identical leashes. It is best to hook the same bait on both hooks. Very often, fishermen put different baits on hooks, but this installation is not entirely suitable for this. It is more suitable for catching a big “balyabukha” of makukha or something like that. The main disadvantage of such gear is that it is very often confused.

3. Float tackle with two hooks on different leashes. For me personally, this is the best gear installation and I use it almost every fishing trip. It is this installation that is best suited for choosing the most effective bait and saves you time.

4. A sinker between hooks tied to the main line. This installation allows you to catch crucian carp both at the very bottom and in the near-bottom zone. An excellent tackle for crucian carp, because it does not stay evenly at a certain depth and often has to be changed.

5. The tackle is the opposite, first a sinker with a hook, and then a float. A little drug addict tackle, but very interesting and workable in the wave. But catching it is not very convenient, it is most likely a marker, it allows you to immediately determine the exact depth at the place of fishing, and then tie the hook using one of the methods described above.

I think many have noticed that the complexity of the float gear is quite large, and those who thought that this was a simple equipment were very mistaken. You need to think over the equipment correctly and then mount it all correctly, but read about it below.

When making the right tackle, you must be guided by one simple rule. Thinner is better. If you go fishing and obviously know that you won’t be able to catch crucian carp more than one and a half kilograms, then I advise you to choose the main fishing line no thicker than 0.14, and make a leash from a fishing line with a diameter of 0.10. And of course, choose a strong, high-quality and transparent fishing line.

The main factors that you should consider when choosing float hooks are the size of your bait and its color. The most important thing is of course the sharpness of the hook, it must be very sharp.

The right float tackle for catching crucian carp does not require the installation of a certain type of sinker, be it an olive or a shot, it all depends on your preferences.

Most often, fly rods are used for fishing. The length of the main fishing line is from two to five meters. Personally, I think the most practical rods are 4 meters long. Of course, it will be correct and convenient to use with a mount for the coil. A mandatory requirement for the rod is the presence of throughput rings. If your rod fully meets all the requirements, then there should be no problems with long-distance casting of the equipment.

Well, there are practically no general recommendations for choosing a float, it all depends on the place of fishing and the individual preferences of the angler. The most versatile float is considered to be long and thin with a high antenna, it allows you to fish normally in almost any conditions. The goose feather is considered a very good float for catching carp. And of course, the correct float tackle for catching crucian carp must be fully balanced. The choice of bait and bait depends on the conditions of fishing and the activity of the fish.

It should be understood that the success of float fishing for crucian carp directly depends on the equipment. First of all, it should be easy. This makes it possible to see even the most cautious bite and at the other end of the fishing line the fish will not feel resistance, which gives you a great chance of effective hooking. Carp is considered a very cautious fish and it will be quite difficult to pull it out on a tackle with a thick fishing line. It is best to choose a fishing line 0.10-0.15 mm. Give preference to trusted manufacturers whose products you have no doubt about. And such a fishing line will allow you to pull out a fairly large fish.

Following from the above, we can come to the conclusion - the thinner the fishing line, the more bites. The main thing is to pay attention to the quality of the fishing line and its wear, as soon as you see a roughness or wear on the fishing line, change it immediately.

The best hooks for float fishing for carp

Hooks come in different lengths and thicknesses, which means that not all of them will go for float fishing for crucian carp. Experienced anglers recommend using hooks with a shank twice the width of the bend. Numbers 5-6 are enough for a medium crucian, but for large fish it is better to put number 7.

A tenacious beard and a sharp point are the two main requirements for a good hook. And of course, the hooks require some maintenance, you need to control them so that they do not rust or become dull.

Of course, experienced anglers always take several types of floats with them when fishing. The choice of one or another type depends on the conditions of fishing and many other factors. For example, in calm weather and on an overgrown pond, a fixed float weighing no more than two grams is best suited. In such conditions, the crucian usually stands not far from the angler and there is no need for long-distance casts. For fishing from the shore and at great depths, a sliding float is better suited. If you plan to fish at long distances, then the float should be brightly colored and quite heavy, from 5 to 10 grams.

For catching crucian carp, waqqler “buoys” are best suited. They have a number of advantages:

  • the ability to adjust the weight;
  • good flight qualities;
  • bright color.

Such a float is perfectly visible at long distances and flies well. Good luck and great catch.

There is a category of fishermen who prefer exclusively bottom gear. Their choice is explained by the fact that there are more chances to catch large fish at the bottom. And the process of catching and playing is different from float fishing. Bottom tackle has its own characteristics, allowing you to enjoy fishing at long distances.

Bottom tackle with a rod

The most common "donk" is considered to be tackle with a rod. It is called the initial type of feeder gear. It is a simple hook, where any reels and rods can be used. A large amount of fishing line is wound on the spool to make casts of a hundred or more meters. A load or feeder is attached to the end of the fishing line, leashes with hooks are tied.

Bottom tackle with a rod

In order for the donka to be made correctly with your own hands, it is necessary to fulfill the basic requirement for hooks, leashes and the main line - they must correspond to the size of the intended catch. Since the tackle is designed to catch large specimens, it is not recommended to use a braided line. He is not able to absorb the strong jerks of large fish. The weight of the load is selected depending on the casting distance.

Bottom tackle without rod

Figuring out how to make a donk without a rod is not difficult at all. There are several types of such snacks:

  • Line with reel. It is stored and transported on it. Throwing is done manually. With good skill, its range is not inferior to casting with a rod.
  • The “gum” also belongs to the bottom gear. A shock absorber in the form of an elastic band is inserted between the main fishing line and the sinker. At the beginning of fishing, the cargo is brought in a boat over a long distance. Donka "elastic band" allows you to remove the fish without completely removing the gear from the water.
  • "Ring". This is where you need a boat. A large amount of bait falls to the bottom from it. There she is throughout the fishing. Hooks with bait are lowered nearby. So that they are located closer to the bait, a special ring is used.

Installation of a snack

Having wound the fishing line on the reel, a load weighing up to 50 g is installed on it. Leashes with hooks are knitted from the load at a distance of 20 cm. There should be the same distance between them. Hooks are located above or below the load. It also provides for the installation of an anti-twist tube.

In this section, we will briefly go through the main gear for summer and winter fishing. It will be useful for beginners and experienced anglers to learn about peaceful and predatory rigs for fishing.

Tackle for summer fishing

In this part, we will talk about an ordinary fishing rod, and about such an original tackle as a boat. Recall the existence of a well-known, but slightly forgotten snack. Consider both classic and long-known tackle: a hook, a circle, and relatively new ones: a feeder, a match fishing rod.

Spinning tackle

For catching predatory fish: pike perch, pike, asp, perch, chub use a spinning rod. The rod consists of 2 or 3 parts. Modern rods are made from graphite, carbon fiber, composites and fiberglass.

Graphite and carbon fiber are lighter and more elastic, they are easy to cast baits and comfortably play fish. There are access rings on the rod. There is a reel seat on the form. A spinning coil is inserted into it. The handle of the rod is made of cork or foam. Spinning rods vary in length, dough, class, action.

The length of the rod is from 1.3 to 4 meters. As a rule, anglers prefer to use rods from 1.7 to 3.4 meters.

Another indicator is the test. It indicates the maximum allowable weight of lures that can be cast. Also rods are divided into classes. The following are approximate correspondences between test and class:

ultra light class - test up to 7 g;

light - from 7 to 15 g;

medium - from 15 to 40 g;

heavy - from 40 g and above.

The most important parameter is the action of the rod. It indicates the degree of its elasticity. The better it bends, the more sensitive it is to bites. The stiffer the stick, the farther it shoots. A flexible rod is referred to as a parabolic type, as it bends along its entire length. A rigid rod is only bent by a third. The rod of medium hardness is bent by half or 2/3 of the length.

Many manufacturers add comments to their rods, for which method of fishing it is better to use them: jigging, twitching, etc.

For spinning, you need a special reel that harmoniously complements the tackle. Its weight and dimensions should be related to the weight and length of the rod. For example, a reel with a spool volume from 1500 to 2000 and a weight of up to 200 grams is suitable for ultralight spinning. The reel should have a good friction and an instant stop.

To implement different types of wiring, coils with different winding speeds are used. There is such a thing as the gear ratio of the coil. It indicates how many turns the coil makes in one revolution. On the box from the coil there is a designation of this type: 4.0: 1. This means that 4 turns are made in one revolution.

Spinning lures require a separate description. Spinners, wobblers, twisters, silicone rubber and much more are attached to spinning leashes. As a rule, metal and fluorocarbon leashes with tees and doubles are used.

fishing rod

For lovers of float fishing, the modern fishing market offers a wide variety of rods. They are made of lightweight materials: graphite, carbon fiber, fiberglass. Depending on the type of float fishing, rods are divided into Bolognese, fly and match. There are also plug-in ones, but this is hotel fishing, which requires its own description.

Bologna rods are from 4 to 7 meters with rings. They are used for fishing

slow and medium current, in wiring. Bolonkas differ in dough and stiffness. The stiffer the rod, the further it casts. The softer it is, the more sensitive it is.

Inertia and inertialess reels are suitable for lapdog fishing. Spinnerets have spools from 1500 to 4000 (for carp fishing). Coils can be equipped with a front or rear clutch. The fishing line is used with a diameter of 0.16 to 0.3 mm. Floats are used as sliding, and with deaf type of fastening. Hooks and sinkers, with leashes are selected depending on the type of fish.

The fly rod is the lightest of all. This is a telescopic rod without rings and without reel. Its weight may be less than 100 grams. In the hand, it is almost not felt. It is designed for fishing from the hand. The length of the fly is from 2 to 8 meters. At the tip of the tip there is a connector into which the snap loop is threaded.

The equipment consists of a deaf float, weights, a leash with a hook. It is wound on a special reel. For different conditions, the angler has a set of rigs that change very quickly.

The match rod is designed for long-distance casting of heavy sliding floats. The rod looks like a feeder rod. It consists of three separate parts. The length of such fishing rods varies from 3 to 5.5 meters. Tackle is assembled and disassembled for fishing, as well as feeder. A match reel is used with a special one marked "Match". The fishing line is used sinking, and all other elements are not much different from the elements for the lap dog.

Picker for catching fish

One type of feeder is a picker. As a matter of fact, this is the lightest and shortest feeder with the smallest dough (up to 30-40 grams). We can say that a picker is a light donk. If we attach at least a miniature feeder, we will get a feeder, but if we attach a weight, we will get a light donk.

The picker is used in cases where it is difficult to fish with float rods, when there is little operational space for casting (coastal bushes, trees, etc. interfere). It is also convenient to catch a picker in the coastal zone, when the distance does not exceed 30 meters. They are good at catching roach, bream, crucian carp, silver bream, bleak.

Most often, pickers have a parabolic system, that is, they bend along the entire length. Such a system makes them very sensitive and when playing small and medium-sized fish, the rod gently extinguishes the jerks of the fish so that the leash remains intact and the fish does not fall off the hook if it is normally hooked.

If, when fishing with a feeder, the starting feeding is carried out by feeders, then in the case of a picker, the food is thrown from a hand or from a slingshot, as when fishing on a float tackle. Then a sinker or a small feeder, if there is one, is attached to the snap.

The length of the picker rod varies from 2.1 to 3.3 meters. It also comes with interchangeable tips of varying hardness. The tops are in a plastic tube, closed with a plug.

The picker reel is used with a spool capacity from 2000 to 3000. Large and not needed, since the fishing distance is small. It is better to use a spool with a small line capacity, with a low side. A thin fishing line with a diameter of 0.18 to 0.2 is wound on it. A braided cord with a cross section of 0.1 mm and a breaking load of up to 5 kg is also used.

Picker rigs are used the same as on the feeder rod: inline, paternoster, asymmetric and symmetrical loop. It is better to use a more viscous bait, since when casting with your hands it is important that it reaches the whole.

Feeders are used weighing from 10 to 30 grams of such a plan:

Snack fishing

Even more old-school gear is a snack. In childhood, probably, every angler caught

or at least watched how they catch this kind of donkey. It consists of a wooden reel, on which a fishing line 100 meters long and 0.6 to 0.9 mm in diameter is wound. It is clear that it is impossible to manually cast 100 meters, it's just for the stock of such a quantity of fishing line.

At the end of the fishing line is tied a sinker cast in a spoon. In front of it, several hooks No. 6-8 are tied on leashes 0.25 mm long, 25-30 cm long. The reel has two ends of different lengths. Longer, pointed, it is stuck into the ground. The signaling device is usually a piece of swamp, and at night - a bell. They catch burbots, catfish, carps, breams, etc. with a snack. This tackle is thrown over medium distances, on a sandy or shelly bottom. On a muddy bottom, it is ineffective.

A more detailed description and capabilities of this device are disclosed on the page.

Mormyshka for fishing

Summer fishing with a jigsaw is exciting and productive. The best for such fishing is a Bolognese rod with a length of 6 to 8 meters and a sensitive nod attached to the end. An inertial reel with a piece of fishing line of 30 meters is attached to the rod. The diameter of the fishing line is usually 0.2-0.25 mm.

The side nod is made of plastic, lavsan, a flexible strip of metal, or a clock spring. Nods are lateral and straight. On 7-8 meter rods, long nods are attached, and on 5-6 meter rods, a shorter nod. The gear looks like this:

A nod without a nozzle is raised up, and under the weight of the bait it takes a horizontal position and falls slightly. A red foam ball is often attached to the end of the nod, which is an excellent signal for bites.

Mormyshka consists of a metal figurine with a hook soldered into it. The figurine is made of lead, tin, tungsten. They come in different colors, dim and brightly glowing. Most often, mormyshkas have one hook, a little less often two and rarely three. Cambric and beads are planted on them, as well as maggot, bloodworm and worm.

In the form of mormyshki are drops, pellets. The summer mormyshka is slightly larger than the winter one. Animal nozzles are planted with a stocking. Instead of live maggots and bloodworms, artificial ones can be planted.

They catch tackle for silver bream, roach, crucian carp, bream, ide, rudd and perch. Fishing is carried out both from the shore and from the boat. Particularly promising are hard-to-reach places, with snags, vegetation and an inconvenient coast. Often anglers enter the water in wading boots and fish at a considerable distance from the shore.

Summer zherlitsa

Summer zherlitsa is considered one of the simplest and budget gear. It can be done literally on the beach, using a minimum of funds. On the zherlitsa they catch mainly pike, pike perch and catfish. It is effective to use several vents at once, checking each of them. The fishing principle is simple - the fish is self-securing, and the angler only needs to remove the vent from the pole-shaped stand.

How to make a perch

For the zherlitsa, you will need a flyer, which can be cut from willow or other wood. Cuts are made on the horns, on which a fishing line 0.6 - 0.9 mm thick is wound. The line is wound in a figure eight. At the end of it is tied a swivel with a carabiner with a metal leash. The hook is used triple "No. 3-5. Live bait is planted on it - gudgeon, bleak, rudd, roach.

A hole is drilled on the handle of the vent, into which the rope is threaded. It connects a pole or tree branch to a slingshot. The gear looks like this:

More precisely, the principle of operation of the girders is described.

Fishing for hooks

Postavuha is a kind of summer zherlitsa. It consists of a foam or wooden bar, on which a fishing line 10 meters long is wound. Metal leashes (1-2 pieces) are knitted to the fishing line with a single, double or triple hook. A live bait is planted on him. A sinker is tied to the end of the fishing line. The fishing line takes a vertical position, and the leash - horizontal. The block lies on the water. It can be painted in a bright color that is noticeable in the dark. The gear looks like this:

Instead of foam, you can use a plastic bottle. The main thing is that the fishing line is securely attached to it. When the fish sits on the hook, the bobber will spin and move. Postavuhi are placed from the boat so that there is a distance of 10 - 15 meters between them. This is done an hour before dawn.

Catching catfish with a quok

Kwok catfish fishing is one of the oldest and most productive activities. For successful fishing, it is very important to find the right kwok that will help you catch trophy catfish. Kvokom hit the surface of the water, this creates a specific sound that attracts the catfish.

The success of fishing will depend on how well the kwok is chosen. The angler must "hear" this instrument, to understand whether it sounds right or not. For this understanding to come, experience of both successful and losing fishing is needed.

Kwok has a large handle, a curved base (knife) and a nickel located at the end of the knife. The handle is made from fruit trees and maple. It is given the desired shape, then polished and varnished. The knife is made of duralumin, and the patch is made of a special resin. The knife enters the patch by 5 mm.

As you know, the catfish is boiled from a boat. For this, a fishing line with a breaking load of 100 kg is used. It is wound on a reel or reel. If there is a desire and courage to use a rod, then it should be no more than 2 meters and have access rings. By the end of the fishing line, a meter or one and a half meter leash is tied with a thickness of 0.6 - 0.8 mm. A special hook for catfish is tied to the leash. Large worms, frog legs, crayfish, perches, meat, and other animal baits are put on the hook.

Tackle for fishing Peretyaga

To catch a predator, resourceful fishermen came up with one original tackle called a drag. Its main difference from other gear is the fact that two people take part in fishing, and the river should not be wide, up to 40 meters.

The drag consists of two spinning rods, which are interconnected by a fishing line that runs on two reels. To connect two fishing lines together, one angler throws the tackle so that it flies over the river and the other can find it. Then the fishing lines are tied up and the tackle is pulled out by one angler approximately at a distance equal to half the width of the river. Then he attaches leashes with baits for pike or zander. You can hang live bait or your secret bait.

This tackle is better to catch hard-to-reach places. Nozzles are fed neatly and the catch area increases. You don't have to keep throwing. In some ways, such tackle is similar to an elastic band, only it is much more mobile and allows you to catch all promising areas of the reservoir. The main thing is that the fishermen work in sync.

The length of the leashes is usually 80-100 cm. Their number does not exceed 5 pcs. the distance between them is the same, no more than 3 meters, but not less than 1 meter.

If the fish is spotted, then the one who is comfortable pulling it ashore, or the one who is closer to pull, pulls it. Before fishing, it is better to agree on important points so that there are no misunderstandings. It is better not to shout to each other, but to use pre-agreed gestures. The wiring is done by everyone in turn.

You can also fish alone with this tackle. Only instead of a partner, you need a tree or a pole to which the fishing line is tied. A piece of elastic of the desired length is attached to the end of the fishing line. In this case, the tackle will become even more like an elastic band. But its effectiveness will fall, since fishing will be carried out on one lane.

With the help of a draw, you can catch a chub, since the fishing line lies on the surface of the water. In this case, it is advisable to disguise yourself and not scream. It is better that the width of the river is 30 meters.

To make the simplest donkey for catching fish is within the power of almost anyone, even those who have just begun to delve into all the intricacies of this art.

How to make a donkey

An elastic rod is usually used, the material of which can be bamboo, or, which is more accessible for our latitudes, hazel. As a rule, a length of 1 - 1.5 meters will be enough. If the end of the rod you have chosen is too thick, then it is advisable to sharpen it. For winding fishing line, the cheapest inertial reels are usually used. Lines of 30 - 50 meters are long enough for comfortable fishing.

It is better to choose the diameter of the fishing line used in the range of 0.4 - 0.6 mm. A PVC or rubber tube is attached to the end of our improvised donk. A fishing line is passed through it and fixed on the tip of our donka during fishing. We use the second tube, of a slightly larger diameter, to insert the wire from the signal bell.

After that, we need to fix the weight on the end of the fishing line. If you use this donkey for fishing in stagnant water, then the size and shape of the load do not really matter. When fishing in running water, you will need a heavy and preferably flat sinker, weighing at least 100 - 150 grams. If you wish, you can make such a load yourself. An ordinary tablespoon is perfect for this. Be sure to use a swivel when connecting the line to the load, otherwise your line will inevitably twist and eventually become tangled. Stepping back from the load of about 30 - 40 cm, you can attach the first leash, while also using a swivel in tandem with a carabiner.

As a rule, such leashes are installed in an amount of 3 to 5 pieces. For feeding peaceful fish, you can additionally install a feeder. The hooks you use will depend on the type of fish you're catching. For peaceful fish, this is No. 5 - 8, for predatory fish, such as pike and perch - No. 9 - 12.
