Map of dubai. Dubai map. Gulrypsh - country place for celebrities

I have prepared for you an interactive map of the Dubai metro 2019 in Russian with attractions, the name of each station and buses around them. Using it, you can easily calculate the fare, and quickly plan your route.

What are these colorful zones will be described below when I show the tariffs.

Dubai metro scheme in Russian with closed stations 2018-2020 for those who find it easier to navigate it.

You have probably already read that the Dubai metro is fully automated and travels without a driver. From the first and last carriage a great view of the city opens.

At peak times there are really a lot of people and this is not the most comfortable trip.

This is the longest metro in the world: the journey from one end of the red line to the other takes 1 hour.

The metro is fully adapted for people with disabilities. The city itself is not, but the subway - yes.

It is not customary to concede a seat in the wagons, but there are special places for pregnant and disabled people, which ordinary passengers cannot sit on. for this you can get a fine, all fines at the end of the article.

All stations have free Wi-Fi.

You need to apply cards both at the entrance and at the exit, otherwise the trip will be considered at the maximum rate.

Please note: From 2018 to 2020, several metro stations were closed: Ibn Battuta, Nakheel Harbor and Towers, Jumeirah Lake Towers. A free shuttle bus runs between them.

Dubai metro fare 2019

Burjuman metro station - change from green to red branch

You can calculate the fare in Thinking Metro in 2018 using an interactive map with zone markings. The fact is that the payment system is not very familiar to us there, because there are no one-time tickets and we pay for the distance, not for the trip, so each time the cost may be different.

The price of each trip depends on how many zones you have traveled. (Zones can be viewed on the interactive map above). There are 3 tariffs in total:

  • T1 - trip within the same zone
  • T2 - the trip begins in one zone, and ends in the neighboring
  • T3 - a trip through several zones.

In addition to this, you can add the GOLD option to each of these tariffs, it gives the right to ride in the first carriage, there are always very few people there, large comfortable chairs, a view of Dubai from the windshield.

My wife and I appreciated GOLD when we returned from the evening fountain show and there was just a huge crowd of people in the subway. The very first carriage even had free seating and the wife slept with pleasure in these chairs after a busy day.

Dubai has a unified transportation system. If you got off the subway and transferred to the bus within 30 minutes, then this is a continuation of the trip and you do not need to pay for it separately.

Travel for children under 5 years old or less than 90 cm is free. For everyone else, you have to buy a ticket for an adult.

How much is the metro in Dubai (calculation examples)

Example No. 1: We go from Burj Khalifa (transport zone 6) to Palma (transport zone 2). We leave at the Dubai Marina station, transfer to the tram. Everywhere we apply a ticket both at the entrance and at the exit. The zones are adjacent, so we pay once at the T2 tariff.

Example No. 2: We go from the Airport to the Bourges of Khalifa. It is inside the same transport zone. Must pay at T1 tariff. But you forgot to attach a ticket at the exit and applied only at the entrance - pay at the T3 tariff.

How to pay for the Dubai metro

All trips are paid using Nol Cards - this is a single card for all types of transport. These cards vary in type and cost. Each of them also gives certain advantages.

Video how to buy cards in the terminal

Now I’ll tell you about the features of each card and what advantages it gives over others.

Designed specifically for tourists, because the cost of the card is only 2 AED, and not 6 as in other tariffs. Most tourists think that this is a one-time ticket and buy it for every trip. In fact, this is not true and it can be replenished at any metro station, or you can immediately deposit the amount for several trips to your account.

  • You can pay only 10 trips, or 5 daily rates, then the card becomes invalid and you need to buy a new one
  • You can not see the balance through the application
  • You cannot apply for a 7-day unlimited rate
  • Fares are higher than on plastic cards. About rates just below
  • Only on this card you can apply for an unlimited tariff for 1 day - price 20 AED
  • You can buy a one-time golden metro ride to enjoy the city from the first carriage

Rates for NOL Red

This is a basic map for regular travelers. Made of plastic, does not break, does not get wet, lasts 5 years. It is not personalized, so you can easily transfer it to friends, acquaintances or just sell it on the forum and save 6 AED

  • There is a smartphone application where you can check the balance
  • There is a tariff - 7 days of unlimited trips at a price of 50 AED up to 110 AED depending on the tariff.
  • Cheaper fares for travel.
  • The price is 19 AED, but the card is not personalized and can be sold
  • You can not buy the GOLD option for one trip

NOL Silver Fares

Gold card gives the right to ride in the privileged gold subway cars.

Female and golden wagons

The first carriage in each metro is divided into 2 halves - one part of it is called “Golden”, the entrance to it is indicated by gold lines at each station and only holders of gold tickets are allowed to ride in it. The plus with the fact that there, even during rush hours, you can find a seat, and also offers an excellent view of Dubai from the windshield.

Only women and children can enter the second half of the car. The entrance is marked in pink and everywhere there are large inscriptions - Women only.

If you want to see Dubai through the windshield, but do not want to pay Gold Pass. Such a VIP-car is only one and one way it goes in front and the other in the back.
