When I was going on this trip, I was counting on positive weather. At least different sites promised an average of about zero - plus five degrees. But for a couple of days before departure, the forecasts changed dramatically towards cooling :(

Since I always take things to a minimum, I had to wonder: which of the things would definitely be needed, and which would be needed in an emergency. As a result, she regretted that she did not take a normal headdress. Although in the down jacket with a hood I was quite comfortable.

Hotel room at Hotel d "Enghien:

I booked a single room, and got a room with a double bed. The hotel is located in the Great Boulevard area. The room was quiet, with windows to the courtyard. Here is the view from the window:

One of my fellow travelers had a window facing the street, but she did not complain about the noise. Perhaps simply because the window was closed.

Near the hotel there is this church - Paroisse Saint Eugène Sainte Cécile:

After checking in, they put themselves in order and went for a walk. The bus drove us to Comedy Francaise:

It is a pity, it was not possible to remove the building without interference :(

Our path lay to the heart of Paris - the island of Cité. View of Saint-Chapelle:

And this is a view of Notre Dame:

In 2007, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II presented the Cathedral with the Vladimir image of the Mother of God.

On the left is a gift from the Patriarch.

Unfortunately, I can’t find the information who gave the second icon - this one:

There is a plate nearby, and I even photographed it, but unsuccessfully :(

It was cold outside, and we entered the temple without any queue. A lot of people crowded around these figures:

Wonderful exposure! Figures are moving. The washerwoman washes, the mill grinds ... Of course, the children are delighted!

Notre Dame:

Interior of a Greek cafe in the area of \u200b\u200bSaint Severin Street:

Concord Area:

It is very large, and in January it seems deserted.

The Ferris wheel is set for Christmas, and it also works in January:

Either Parisians are so "simple", or are they tourists:

I remember how it was suggested to us that the crowd in Russian cities is gray, and in Europe it's the other way around - people go in bright jackets and coats :) Nothing of the kind! Both on the streets and in the subway, basically everyone is dressed in “dark”.

View of the Louvre Museum through the Tuileries Garden:

Well, here even a motley jacket fell into the frame :)

We decided to go forward a little, and saw the following picture:

Poor seagulls do not understand what happened! Water froze :(

I hope that they still did not stay hungry ...

View of Place de la Concorde from the Tuileries Garden.

I liked this house. Frost frost, but on the balconies - green plants:

Not far from the House of the Disabled stands this monument to Marshal Fosh:

Eiffel Tower and view of Paris:

Once again I’m convinced that I was in Paris, and I haven’t seen a lot of things ....
