The company's air fleet consists of 23 aircraft: eight passenger Saab-340B for 36 people, seven passenger An-24 for 48 people, five cargo and passenger An-26-100, which can accommodate up to 36 people or 15 passengers and cargo, five cargo An-26 with a carrying capacity of up to 5.5 tons and one training Cessna-172R with three passenger seats.

Urga Airlines is an international company that was founded in 1993 in Ukraine. The main objective of the airline is the transportation of passengers and goods. The company uses two base airports for its airliners, which are the Kiev Zhuliany airport and the airport in the city of Kirovograd. The main specialization of the company is the implementation of charter transportation of passengers to the resort cities of the world.

The history of the formation and development of the airline

The beginning of activity dates back to 08.21.1993, when the company was formed on the basis of the flight school in Kirovograd. A year after its appearance, URGA was included in the general list of air carriers ICAO and UN. In 2008, 51% of all shares of the company were owned by the State Property Fund, 43.5% were owned by American Consulting Corporation, and the remaining 5.5% were owned by Lyctos Group. In early 2009, the company was bought out and privatized by the former Minister of Energy, he owned 94.5% of the companies.

In the future, there was an active development of the company until 2010. In subsequent years, the company's profit decreased. Thus, in 2010, the company's net earnings amounted to a little more than 22 million hryvnias, and a year later the profit fell to 15 million, 2012 brought 10 million hryvnias of profit. 2013 brought a crushing loss to the company in the amount of 8 million hryvnias. Currently, the airline "Urga" continues to operate, it has a permanent staff of 369 people.
