Where are the bus and minibus stops in Pulkovo

On December 4, 2013, a new terminal was opened at Pulkovo Airport, which, without any fancy, is so directly called “Terminal 1”. The building of the former Pulkovo-1, which is integral with the Terminal, directly adjoins it. There are two entrances to Pulkovo - through the first and third floors of the Terminal.

The former Pulkovo-2 terminal is closed. We wrote more about the airport itself.

You can get to Terminal 1 from Moskovskaya metro station at:
  - minibus K-39;
- public bus 39;
  - 39E public express bus. The express train has no intermediate stops; it works like the shuttle Moskovskaya-Pulkovo.

About where specifically to find buses on Moskovskaya - just below.

You can go to the former Pulkovo-2 (if you suddenly need to go there) from Moskovskaya metro station - by bus 13, as well as by the K-13 shuttle bus (minibus) and K-213 shuttle bus from Sennaya Square. What is a shuttle bus: it is a bus that is not public transport, there are no benefits in it; it is purely commercial and more expensive than public. It’s just purely outwardly it looks like public transport, only it is marked with a letter K in front of the number, so do not mix it up. There he is:

From Sennaya Square to Pulkovo-2

The parking lot on Sennaya is located at the very intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt and the square - on the right side, if you stand with your back to the square and, accordingly, face in the direction of movement to the airport. The intersection point of the avenue and the square is only one, that is, the avenue "flows" into the square, but does not cross it, so we think you will not be mistaken when you find the parking lot.

The K-213 shuttle bus runs from Sennaya Square along Moskovsky Prospekt and passes by at the Technological Institute, Frunzenskaya, Moskovskie Vorota, Elektrosila, Pobedy Park and Moskovskaya metro stations.

In Pulkovo from the Moscow metro

Now about how to leave for Pulkovo with Moscow. All transport going to Pulkovo stops at the flower pavilion or nearby. The pavilion is located immediately at the exit of the subway, directly opposite McDonald's. It is McDonald's (on the photo on the right) that serves as an identification mark for all travelers. If you need a specific McDonald's address: Moskovsky Prospekt, 195A.

Buses 39 and 39E and bus 13 stop on the left side of the pavilion, and the K-39 minibus (white minivan) on the right. BUT: the photo was taken from the opposite side of Moscow Avenue, that is, when you are facing the pavilion and your back to McDuck, then you need to choose right  side in order to catch the bus and left to take the minibus.

What time is it to go to Pulkovo

Usually, it takes twenty minutes to get from the Moskovskaya station to Pulkovo. Traffic jams occur, but rarely even during rush hours. But this does not mean that they cannot be. Take another ten minutes to wait in line for boarding the bus or waiting for the K-213 minibus passing by (in Pulkovo-2).

From Sennaya, if without traffic jams, you can easily get there in 40 minutes, not counting the wait for landing. But at rush hour, Moskovsky Prospekt is often overloaded with cars, even despite the green wave, so if you are moving between 17:00 and 20:00, you better not take the risk and take the metro to Moskovskaya.

Price list: public buses 39, 39E and 13 and the K-39 minibus cost 40 rubles in 2018 and the same amount of large luggage.

Hours of bus routes: from 05:30 to 01:30, minibus K-39 runs around the same hours.

About how to get from Pulkovo airport to St. Petersburg.

In the summer of 2016, buses No. 39 and No. 39Э launched a network of free Wi-Fi. To connect to the Internet for the first time, you will need to register, then your gadget will connect automatically. Note that buses due to their design, smooth road and the absence of sharp turns on the Pulkovo highway go quite smoothly, so it’s convenient to work on the Internet using a smartphone, even if you are standing. However, this does not at all eliminate the need to hold onto the grab handle tightly just in case.

An important point if you are being taken to Pulkovo by car. By car, you can enter the arrival and departure area (that is, drive directly to the terminal) and stay there for 15 minutes. After that, you can re-enter there only after 30 minutes, starting from the moment the car left the zone. Or call in before the specified 30 minutes, but for 700 rubles.

If you do not want to get from Pulkovo to the city or, conversely, from St. Petersburg to Pulkovo airport by public transport, order an individual transfer - you don’t have to run around looking for a car, spend time waiting for the necessary flight at the airport and make transfers.

On the Kiwitaxi website, select the appropriate car, indicate the time and place of departure, as well as where you want to go. The driver will meet you, help you with your luggage and take you to your desired address in comfort. You can pay for the trip online in any currency convenient for you: rubles, dollars or euros. In addition, the price will be fixed: it will not be affected even by traffic jams. Transfer booked.
