What to do if it is impossible to return the ticket personally by the buyer

If a ticket for travel was purchased for cash, directly through the cashier, upon its return, the funds, minus the obligatory deductions, will be immediately returned to the buyer upon completion of the return procedure.

If you paid for the ticket using a bank transfer of money (card, payment order), the refund period will be much longer - up to thirty calendar days.

If the ticket is paper, the day before departure, the refund is made only at the ticket office at the station, if electronic - from the order management page. If you miss the train, you have 12 hours to return the ticket (the time is counted from the moment the train departs from the station from which you have the ticket).   • 8 hours before departure - full refund;
  • 8 - 2 hours - 50% of the reserved seat price (money for booking a seat in the carriage) and the fare;

The charge of Russian Railways, commission of payment systems, service charge, regardless of the time of delivery, are not refundable.

When returning an unused electronic ticket issued for a train for international traffic with the CIS countries, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Abkhazia on the website, the following shall be credited to the payer's account:

  • no later than 24 hours before the train departs from the passenger's boarding station - the fare, consisting of the ticket price and the cost of a reserved seat;

  • less than 6 hours and before the train departs from the passenger's boarding station - only the ticket price, the cost of the reserved seat is not refundable.

The cost of services (including bed linen) is fully refundable.

It is allowed to receive a spoiled travel card again if the ticket office of Russian Railways already had a mark about the passenger's appeal.
