Since we had stew cooked in the morning, we decided that the dogs needed to be given to them. And tomorrow we thought that we would figure it out, for us having money is much easier to find food than for dogs who find it difficult even to find fresh water. I liked the dogs. This place was chosen without any thought about security, as we thought of climbing up this mountain and sticking a tent there. Indeed, in the evening, it is obvious that silence and calm reign, but what happens after dawn, I will tell you in more detail: since I have a very good sleep, Maxim is responsible for everything that happens at that time, he got up several times, I did not notice this. And he got up for the reason that the tent began to be demolished by the wind. How did Max get out of the situation? He tied the tent on the ropes to the motorcycle, because the bike just doesn’t blow off the central footboard, so this was the only and good option. And so all night and the whole morning. At one point, Maxim woke me up to rearrange things from one side of the tent to the other. The side where I slept was lifted up and almost turned over completely.

We could not endure this horror, began to wake up.

But what do serious people do after such nights and at such a difficult windy moment? Do not know? And here's what: they take a cape from the tent, or you can take the tent itself, and use it as a parachute. This is what we started to do - fly along this peak, holding onto both ends with both hands. Rzhachu was a lot)). They fell, got up and again tried to take off.

Oh yes, we also have almost run out of water, so Max went to explore the lake below. The distance to it is not small, wandered about 15 minutes. And he returned with empty bottles. To the question: "" Where is the water? Did you drink something?)) "", I heard that something was being bred in that water, it is not clear what. Max said it was something like shrimp. Therefore, there was only enough water for breakfast.

Gathering things, the task is not easy, when a crazy wind blows and turns over, just folded, capes. I had to repeat the same movements repeatedly.

Today we drove along the route we were familiar with, which we did in 2013 - it was the road to Sudak. Near each familiar place they stopped and discussed what they had already done here. For example, a cafe with wood paneling, where we ate; white columns with the inscription on them "" SANATORIUM. OLD CRIMEA "", here two years ago they ate a yellow plum and roamed the construction site that was on the other side of the road. That construction has not changed since that moment, but the plums were now still green.

We really wanted to be in the place where we had once been. The foot of Cape Megan, that's what we were striving for today. The tent was set up in another place, in 2013 in this place was a beach densely crowded with sun loungers. And today it is - a place full of freedom and tranquility, where, besides us, there was a small camp of red tents and EVERYTHING, nobody else. For us, this is the best vacation option.

We arrived at the cape long before sunset, so we had time to swim and sunbathe. Having started cooking, two guests came to us - these two dogs were similar in their coloring to hyenas. They had very hungry and sad eyes. But when we gave them part of our stew, they behaved very well-mannered, did not fight, did not take each other from each other, and they even ate bread. Looking at them, we gave them everything that we had, they even ate crackers, which proved that they needed us more food. And we still find ourselves.

In order not to go hungry, Max went to the store. I bought something that was missing, and found water in the same place, there are no columns in this area.

In the evening, we drank tea several more times, ate crackers with raisins, and controlled a motorcycle. He stood at the top of the cliff, the steps to the top were steep and high. Max was a little worried that his horse was so far away. Maxim chose exactly the place where he catches the keyfob signal from the alarm, and therefore our tent was somehow strange - in the center of the entire beach. And we fixed the keychain on the ceiling of the tent and tied it to a rope. Then they fell asleep.

Many tourists refuse the usual hotels, resorts and even the private sector and prefer to travel in their own cars, staying in specialized campsites. But the problem is that every year there are less and less such campsites, since the land in Crimea is expensive and it’s better to build a hotel, water park or some kind of entertainment complex on it than give it to campsites. The smallest campsites are on the southern coast of Crimea, but this is not surprising, since in this part of the peninsula the land is worth its weight in gold. After you decide on a specific campsite, be sure to check whether it will work this year or not, since it is likely that the camp last year, and in this place a large-scale construction is underway.

One of the best Crimean car camps is located in the northern part of Sevastopol and is called Uchkuevka. Tourists can connect residential trailers to electricity or stay in residential houses. The beach is only 20 meters, but since the stairs to the beach collapsed, you have to make a hook of about 200 meters. The beach is free, but crowded, because not only numerous tourists, but also local residents rest there. The sea can be called clean, especially when you consider the number of vacationers. The sea is not very far, but not close - about 300 meters. Camping offers different types of accommodation, there are summer modules, tent settlements and places for residential trailers.

In Yalta (or rather in the mountains above Yalta) there is a camping "Glade of fairy tales". Nearby is the Wuchang-Su Waterfall and Zoo. Protected pine forests come close to camping. The only drawback is that it is far from the sea. It is not possible to accommodate in a tent; a motel or separate houses are provided for housing. The campsite has good conditions for campers, there is a restaurant, swimming pool, hot shower. The embankment of Yalta can be reached by a free minibus, which departs several times a day from the campsite and in the opposite direction.

For lovers of wilder rest, car camping, which is located behind the Alchak mountain near Sudak, is suitable. Here, tourists who come in their cars can stop in tents. Camping is not distinguished by any special service, there is industrial water and toilets, you will have to take a little walk for drinking water, though not far. There is not much vegetation in the district and in the high season it is very hot. Honestly, this is not the best place to stay and this camping should be considered as a fallback.

Near Feodosia, in Primorsky there are several good campsites. This is not southern, but eastern Crimea, but the South Coast is practically inferior to nothing (except by nature). There is a nice sandy beach with a gentle entrance to the water. Stationary campsites are equipped with a shower, a toilet, and there is a cafe in some places. The surrounding area is not particularly attractive, but those who travel by car find what to do and where to go.

Recently, relaxing on Cape Tarkhankut, which is located in the west of Crimea, is gaining popularity. This place is considered one of the best in Crimea for lovers of relaxation in specialized campsites. You can stay in residential trailers, stationary houses or tents. Outdoor shower, shared toilet; there are several cafes in the vicinity. But here the sea is clean, which creates excellent conditions not only for swimming, but also for diving.

If you find yourself in the Crimea, if you are not bedridden, you are attracted and invited to discover the unknown, then a trip from Sudak to Meganom is a chance for you, at least for a short time, to feel the greatness of nature, to discover something new, to feel the powerful energy of this ancient, mysterious peninsula.

Of course, you can get to the cape by bus or minibus, but I suggest taking a walk. The distance that you will have to go is only seven kilometers from Sudak to Meganom Beach, and if you want a thrill, then a couple of kilometers to Gravel Bay, though the mountains are already.

Take for yourself the smallest of things civilization   , some food, necessarily water, be sure to shoe closed, tested shoes and go! We begin the journey from the Cypress Alley, in the place where it goes to the coast of Sudak.

The first stop on the road Sudak Meganom - Alchak.

Then to the left, to the end of Sudak beach, we go around Mount Alchak on the left side, and now, finally, the city is left behind. Further, almost the entire coast from Cape Alchak to Meganom Beach is open for a pedestrian passage, and is a real hilly semi-desert, occasionally cut by ravines and covered with hard grass and shrubs.

Right behind the mountain is Alchak auto-camping and the beach of the same name. The place to stay is good, quiet. Before Sudak, and, accordingly, shops, about ten minutes on foot, a nice pebble beach. Just do not put up the tent on the right side, under the cliff - scree. From here you can climb to Alchak, the height of 157 meters, absolutely free - no cashiers, not even signs. On the hill, where the path rises, immediately above the beach, you can see the remains of the foundation of an ancient structure, it seems like a small fortress. Further down the coast are the breakwaters of the beaches of the unfinished sanatorium Medvezhonok, the concrete skeleton of which is now a convenient place for paintball battles. The beach is medium pebble, the water is clean, there are few people. If you didn’t plunge on the Alchak beach, then you can do it here, because there will be Cape Franzuzhenka, named after the owner of the estate located here in the year before last, the Frenchwoman Justine Jacquard. Now it houses the Scuba Diving Center, and if you can go through it, in spite of the signs “forbidden”, then you can definitely swim.

Capsel Bay. Mid way to Meganoma.

Behind the cape begins the tract and Capsel Bay. On the hills of the tract visible traces of archaeological excavations, sometimes you can find pieces of ceramics. The coast ends with a low clay cliff, under which there is a wide pebble beach, on which you can walk more than two kilometers, periodically swimming, enjoying the sea air and the view of Meganoma’s ever-expanding community. On the shore, you can find plates with traces of the waves of the ancient Tethys Ocean, and on the clay slope you can see the results of the work of tectonic forces, either lifting or lowering the surface of the Earth. With the exception of Capsel Camping and a small children's camp, the beaches are absolutely wild.

There are practically no people - swim, sunbathe, in which the mother gave birth. The water is clean and warm. Lots of crabs. In the shelf area, the slope of the bottom is very small, the only drawback in the surf is stones and large pebbles. At the end of Capsel Bay, you climb a hill and a mirage! There is a river wheeled motor ship in the sea.

Meganom Beach.

I think that many of you have watched the movie Cruel Romance. So - the river boat says the same “Swallow”, remember “... a shaggy bumblebee on fragrant hops, a gray heron in reeds, and a gypsy daughter ...”, has long been located between Sudak and Meganom. Initially, it was assumed that a floating hotel would be equipped here, but it turned out as always - the steamboat fell into decay, collapses every year, but the hotel doesn’t. Behind the ship begins camping Megan, or rather the whole village.

There is a tent camp, and just parking for cars, shops, several restaurants, as well as a large, well-appointed beach. In season, the beach goes bus Sudak - Meganom Beach   and minibus. Minibus Sudak Meganom goes without a schedule, departs as passengers fill. You can take a phone from the driver and reserve a seat for the flight, which is very convenient.

Meganom itself is a peninsula that protrudes far into the sea and has four capes, the southernmost of them is called - Cape Meganom . The highest point of the peninsula is Mount Meganom, 358 m high above sea level.

Previously, due to the location of military units, the territory of Meganom was inaccessible and only in recent years has been mastered by tourists.

Bypassing camping on the trail, you will find yourself on a small sandy beach. The water is clean. You can swim and further continue along the coast. At the end of the beach, the ruins of a small fortress that once guarded the bay and marina have been preserved. You have to go further along the cliff from blue clay   almost along the edge of the surf.

With great excitement, sea water washes his legs, rolling over stones lying on the shore. Then the path rises up and now you have a wonderful view in front of you - the sea! In places - blue, silver or completely black. And on the left are the mountainsides, indented by winds and rainwater.

The Meganoma rock is such that from it nature itself creates bizarre shapes in the form of scallops with hats resembling stone mushrooms. Here, at the top, are the first savage tents.

Gravel Bay is the best beach of Meganoma.

Several steep descents and ascents, and in front of you, in the gorge, a quiet bay with a wonderful beach - Gravel Bay or, according to other sources, Engraving. Descent to Gravel Bay is difficult. From the Gravel Bay, the path again screeches up to the right edge of the ravine, and along its pointed edge approaches the cliff face, then in two steps climbs onto the back of Cape Rybachy or Kilse-Burun, in this place passing between the mountain and a huge stone. The Devil’s Bridge (not the Devil’s Bridge - not at all the one on it) is about one hundred and fifty meters of a trail that runs along a narrow step above the gorge of Gravel Bay. I remember how during the formation of our tourist club, the question was raised: "And what place in Crimea will we make our beloved? A place-patron, a place-amulet, a place-power. Club place where we will return from year to year." There were many versions, each with its own favorite places, its own preferences. I remember, among others, Ayu-Dag most often sounded. Bear Mountain is a good hiking symbol and an interesting place to visit. But time has put everything in its place. The place has chosen us. Over the 3.5 years of the club’s existence, we have been to Meganom three times. In fact, we missed Megan only in 2011, and visited in 2010, 2012 and now in 2013. There is no place in Crimea that we visit with such periodicity. Even the Chatyr-Dag plateau and the Demerdzhi plateau cannot boast such constancy, although they are closer and more convenient for us for hiking.

What is attractive about this place for esotericists and mystics I wrote in last year’s report and I don’t want to return to this. Although no, I’ll say a few words. Whoever reads me regularly knows how I feel about all kinds of places of power. I am indifferent. Good places of power, bad places of power - for me they are all the same. I don’t feel any special vibrations either there or there. I feel good everywhere, I have the whole Crimea one big place of power. I am also indifferent to all kinds of Hare Krishnas, Buddhists, Judaists, Talmudists, Taoists and other believers in all possible religions. But this is how I relate to them until they reach my soul. While they built a sundial from pebbles, altars from pebbles on Meganom, organized places of worship - everything was interesting, harmonious and did not violate the overall integrity and natural beauty. But they went too far and their actions disfigure the cape. They began to decorate Megan. Almost all the stones are painted with buddhas, animals and abstract drawings. For this, you can already take your hands off. At this pace, they will repaint the whole Megan and turn it into an acid incomprehensible something.

They started, traditionally, not far from the Meganom camping site and, moving along the "lower" path, went along the edge of the sea. They looked enviously at Mount Sokol, which was highlighted by the meager December sun. We were purged by sea winds in the shade of Mount Urmany-Ustu.

However, much distracted by the surrounding species was fraught with consequences. Wet mud forced the legs to disperse in different directions, and the sea strove to reach out and "lick" the shoes of the participants of the campaign. But then the shore became wider and managed to escape from the oncoming waves. In such cases, you can select the "upper" path, which is also passable, as well as the "lower". But when did we look for the easy way?

From the edge of Kilse-Burun, they looked beyond the slopes of Mount Urmana-Ustu and saw the next target - Cape Meganom, coupled with the Meghan lighthouse. Everything is in place, nothing has gone anywhere. You can continue the journey.

Perhaps the most specific part of the route starts from here. Megan opens in all its glory. We look at him from the inside. And it is here that you realize how unlike the rest of the Crimean places it is. He is the one and only. Unique in all its unusual beauty. And Megan damn picturesque. Everything is picturesque here - wastelands, bays, piles of stones in water and on land. This place is so fantastic that for a long time you can’t understand where you are and whether Crimea is at all?

The place is very contemplative, not enduring fuss. But to fully appreciate its greatness and grandeur can only begin climbing to Cape Meganom. This is where the beauty of bays and wastelands opens to the full. The higher you go, the better the panorama becomes, the more breathtaking. It is impossible to break away. He made a slight upward movement, turned to look, rose a little more, and turned back to look again. And with the climb, the feeling of enthusiasm becomes only stronger.

At the top there is a shop with a good view of the entire wasteland of Meganoma. And I, sitting on this bench, can assure you that getting out of it is very, very difficult. Not because it is too lazy to go further, but because contemplation is so captivating that it is categorically impossible to look away and continue on the path.

However, we are not far from the no less picturesque Meganom lighthouse.

Instead of taking the road to the military unit and bypassing the tracts of Buyuk-Okce and Kuchuk-Okche, we decided to try to go to Mount Choban-Basti in the shortest way, crossing the tracts where possible. Unfortunately, we failed completely. Already on the first ravine (Buyuk-Okce) we could not find a more or less suitable trail to conveniently cross it. The land of Cape Choban-Best is under the jurisdiction of the Sudak wind farm. Passage and passage to the territory of the wind farm is strictly prohibited. But, despite all the prohibition signs, we decide to move to the top of the Choban-Basta. Cautiously, you look at the blades of the working windmills whistling at the top and in the mode of secretive movement, with a quick step we "run" to the top of Choban-Basta.

Therefore, we descend along the eastern slope of Choban-Basta and rush to the third cape - Bugas. On the leeward side, many horses graze, apparently no one wants to freeze in a constant wind.

Bugas is just a stone's throw away. I remember it with an absolutely incredible sediment structure. It was as if the ancient builders were building this cape, laying out “bricks” in layers, interspersing them with layers of “mortar”. Such associations arose when I looked at the western slope of this cape. In any case, this "masonry" is better to see with your own eyes. Very entertaining sight.
