In the Tula region with gas stations, where there are toilets, a huge problem, in Lipetsk, in general, too. Spill Moscow region, then wait for Voronezh. By the way, the same applies to the way back. Do not really count on the Tula and Lipetsk regions! To the forest too. This is not the right track.

Where to eat on the M4

We have a tradition - we always stop at a new generation Lukoil gas station in the Voronezh region for 720 km. (There are gas stations on both sides of the track!). These are not just gas stations - these are modern complexes where there are cafes, toilets, a shop, children's playgrounds (both indoors and outdoors) and more.

The choice depends on where people started. Muscovites are more comfortable staying in Rostov and in the neighborhood with it. Petersburgers - in Voronezh. Tula - in the Krasnodar Territory. There are, of course, personal preferences, but here everything is individual.
   Now the most popular hotels in May, June and July 2016. The list is very different from what I would recommend to you. I suspect that the bulk of the hotels are popular because of economic preferences (the same Alpha in Rostov) and the smaller because of their comfort and coziness (for example, the Rodina Hotel in Mayakovsky). What you choose - decide for yourself.

People often ask me whether it’s hard to go south by car, how do we transfer the road, because these are such impressive distances. Yes, we normally tolerate. We are used to it. We have everything worked out. We know where to stop eating, when it's time to relax, where there are normal toilets. We never pick up a bunch of food and do not choke on it later. The only thing we take is fruits (apricots, peaches), cut into slices in plastic containers and drink. Kostya does not tolerate caustic sausage odors in the car, she is afraid that they will not get rid of them later. Yes, and we do not have a traditional road eater.
   We always stop for the night. Do not take risks, do not strain. Riding without rest is not about us. It's not about us to go into the unknown, to look for where to stay for the night, along the way. We spend the night in booked, pre-checked hotels, which provide a relaxing holiday and good food.
We never rape ourselves. We get up at a comfortable time, drive at a calm speed. And we get pleasure from the ride process. Yes, the path is not short. About 1,600 kilometers. But on a highway like the M4, this is not at all scary. Great track, God forbid, so there were more!
