However, “Casta” does not perform in the capital as often as its many listeners would like - their previous solo album was in Moscow last summer. The performance on August 12 will be a doubly event because it will take place not in a crowded club, not as part of an open-air event with thousands of people, but on the cozy summer venue “Port”, located in most beautiful place at VDNKh. The Rostov rap group is one of the first to bring this genre to a wide range of listeners. Over the course of almost two decades of creativity, Casta changed her vector more than once, but always remained in tune with the times, both musically and lyrically. Winners of two MTV awards and the same number of MUZ TV awards, owners of an impressive discography and one of the most touring groups in Russia, after a break during which super-successful albums of the group members were released, in 2014 they began to create a new full-length album. New tracks are being prepared for release this spring and will be presented at the band’s big June concerts. “Big” is not just an exaggeration, but Casta’s tradition of giving drum performances at the capital’s largest club venues once a year. Sound, light, video, accompaniment by a “live” band and special guests - this is what the group tries especially hard for such concerts. And considering that there hasn’t been a “big concert” of Casta in Moscow for more than a year and a half, the capital can count on special treatment.
