Alanya - a small picturesque town with wide avenues and a wonderful harbor, with a calm and unhurried life, is deservedly considered one of the most popular Turkish resorts. Located about 150 km from Antalya. Alanya is famous for its subtropical climate and beautiful beaches, the majestic mountain fortress of the Seljuk era, the old city with narrow streets and colorful shops, numerous fish restaurants and tea courts along the coast. In ancient times, the city was the capital of Pamphylia, and later - the summer residence of the Seljuk Sultans.

Alanya resort area includes areas Incekum, Konakli, Karaburun and Mahmutlar. Alanya, which is translated from Turkish as “noble” - one of the most beautiful cities on the southern coast of Antalya, was founded in the 4th century. BC e. and during the time of the Roman Empire was a famous pirate base called Corakesion. This is the same city that Mark Anthony passionately in love presented to Cleopatra. Now it is one of the busiest resorts in Turkey, a wonderful resort center where you can relax and have fun.

Nature: The coastal strip of Alanya is very open, low mountains stand in the distance. There is little greenery (mainly palm trees). And this is the only place in Turkey where bananas ripen! The swimming season lasts from late April to mid November. The temperature in Alanya is always 2-4 degrees higher than in other regions of Turkey. Therefore, a better place in Turkey for the May holidays than Alanya you can not find.

Infrastructure: Alanya is divided into two parts by a high cliff, on which is located the old city with most of the monuments of different eras. The walls of the city, stretching for more than 8 kilometers, look like the Great Wall of China. To the east of the castle hill is a bazaar quarter with a scattering of shops, teahouses and restaurants. Here are mainly hotels 3 *, 4 *. Recently, 5 * hotels have appeared that offer good service, but prices are lower than in Side or Kemer due to the remoteness from the airport.

Recommendations: For an economical vacation, you will not find a better place than Alanya. Here you can meet a lot of young people. Cozy bays with gently sloping beaches are also great for families with children. Alanya is an amazing place to relax, with modern hotels of different categories, inexpensive but cozy guest houses and campsites. This region is especially popular with young people, as well as with couples with children due to the long sandy beaches, as well as economical hotels.

♦♦♦

Resort Incekum - situated in the Alanya area, 110 kilometers from Antalya Airport. From Antalya here to go one and a half - two hours. From Alanya - about 40 minutes. Incekum (Incekum) literally translates from Turkish as "Thin" or "fine" sand. This name was not given to this beach by accident. It stretches for almost two kilometers along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and is covered over its entire length with clean and very fine bright golden sand, the best in this region of Turkey.

Nature: Incekum is the warmest place on the entire resort coast of Turkey. Even small royal bananas grow here. And this is not surprising because the summer season in Incekum lasts from April to November.

Incekuma Beach located in a very picturesque place. There are no big cities, and low, densely covered with pine forest mountains, go almost to the sea. On both sides, the beach is sandwiched by rocky capes, also covered with forest. All this creates an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility on Incekum Beach. There are not many hotels here, and therefore the beach does not seem crowded even in high season.

Infrastructure:Incekum is a very young resort with a very intensive development. It has many completely inexpensive bars, cafes, hotels, discos, sandy beaches and other infrastructure. This ancient town will give many hours of pleasure to everyone who prefers an informative vacation. Gourmets will find here an abundance of various sea dishes in numerous restaurants, bars and taverns. If you walk along the promenade, you will see a huge number of shops and shops selling exclusive souvenirs, jewelry, clothes and other handicrafts.

Incekum can be divided into several smaller sections, such as Avsallar (closer to Alanya) - a small village that is becoming more lively thanks to the proximity to quality 4-5 star hotels. And Okurcalar (closer to Side). Between the center of Incekum and Okurcalar there is a water park popular with children and adults, there are many inexpensive 3-4 * hotels. And to the west of Okurcalar, there are solitary large 5 * hotels with vast territories and excellent infrastructure.

There are no attractions in the village itself, but within half an hour's drive is the ancient Side and picturesque Alanya. In addition, tourists can enjoy a variety of water sports on the beach, or go on an exciting rafting on the Manavgat River.

Recommendations: Incekum is a great choice for a holiday with your children. Good beaches and fairly smooth entry into the water - young tourists will like it very much. Also, this beach is popular among people suffering from pulmonary diseases. The fragrant pine forest surrounding the resort has a beneficial effect on their health, gives you easy breathing and a good night's sleep.

♦♦♦

Avsallar - A small resort-type village in Turkey, located between two cities known to Russian tourists - Antalya and Alanya. The distance to Alanya is only 20 km, which allows you to get there by any transport in just a few minutes.

Nature: Located north of Alanya, Avsallar is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. Avsallar is one of the warmest places on the Antalya coast, as the bay protects the beach from strong winds. Beautiful sand and pebble beaches, crystal-clear sea water and fresh warm air combine to form the perfect combination for a wonderful and memorable vacation.

Infrastructure: Despite the fact that Avsallar is a relatively small settlement, it is full of hotels, shops, markets, various restaurants and bars, there are many ways to have a good time. If you are tired of lying on the beach or splashing around in the hotel pool, you can relax in the Waterland water park or visit the dolphinarium. If you like a cultural holiday, you can visit the main attractions of Avsallar. These include a city mosque, a fountain and a town square, where you can see the monuments to the tribes who founded the village. A nearby watch shows the time of those countries where the guests of this village came from.

There are no luxury hotels in Avsallar, and they are useless. Those four-fives who have been working in the resort for several years have long established themselves as one of the highest quality on the coast.

Alara River flows through Avsallar, on the banks of which stands the picturesque 13th century Caravanserai Alaran. In ancient times, it served as a resting place for traders and wanderers, today it has become just a popular place for bright photos from tourists. You can go rafting on the Alara River, especially in spring (from March to mid-May), when the water flow is more powerful. In addition, tourists are offered all kinds of sports on the beach, diving and horse riding.

Behind the hotel zone, a highway runs through the entire village, along which a lot of Dolmushi minibuses run during the day, taking tourists to Side or Alanya in 5-10 lira and 30-50 minutes.

Recommendations: the seabed in the village of Avsallar in Turkey goes quite abruptly into the depths, and does not really contribute to a comfortable rest with young children, and also does not suit tourists who do not know how to swim. And in everything else, Avsallar is a great choice for a quality vacation in the most popular resort in Turkey. When choosing a time to travel to Avsallar, keep in mind that the climate there is Mediterranean, characterized by very hot summers. Therefore, late spring or early autumn is best for relaxation. And especially good there in October, when the summer heat is already subsiding, but the sea remains warm in summer. In addition, at this time of the year there are not so many tourists on the beaches, and even locals consider this month already too cold for swimming. Therefore, no one will stop you from enjoying a relaxing holiday. The landscape is complemented by a palm alley and a magnificent view of the Toros Mountains.

♦♦♦

Kargichak. The small resort village of Kargichak is located just three kilometers from the resort of Mahmutlar and 16 kilometers east of the city of Alanya, in a picturesque corner of nature surrounded by forests between the Mediterranean coast and the foothills of the Toros Mountains. Rest here allows you to temporarily forget about the bustle of megacities, without depriving yourself of the amenities of civilization.

Nature: Kargichak is surrounded by dense forests and the Toros mountains, which in combination with the Mediterranean coast makes these fabulous places just perfect for relaxing from worldly cares. The beaches here are very clean, so they leave the most wonderful experience for beach lovers.

Infrastructure: There are so few cars in Kargichak that children boldly play right on the roadway. The cleanliness of the local nature is supported by the efforts of the inhabitants of the village and the local administration. Therefore, it is worthwhile to come to Kargichak as a whole family to inhale the clean sea air saturated with iodine, take a walk along the cobblestone-paved alleys in the shade of orange and banana trees. And for adherents of a healthy lifestyle, right on the streets there are special simulators available for everyone. And you can relax in one of the cozy restaurants. Kargichak is not rich in cultural attractions, but there is something to see in its vicinity. The main attraction of the area are the ruins of the ancient city of Siedra, where you can get from Kargicak in a few minutes by bus.

♦♦♦

Kestel - A calm coastal village that is suitable for those who wish to live in peace and quiet. In 15 minutes you can get from here to the center of Alanya on one of the many city buses. Kestel is known for the patriarchal way of life of Turkey, magnificent idyllic landscapes, tranquility and silence.

Nature: Kestela beach has a length of about two kilometers, sandy. There are bars and restaurants on the beach providing beach services.

Infrastructure: Kestel - a new area of Alanya connects Tosmur and Mahmutlar. In the future, according to the architectural plan of the municipality, it will be the greenest area with modern complexes of no higher than 5 floors and well-developed infrastructure. From Alanya, Kestel is built up with villas and cottage towns. In the center of Kestel, every Wednesday there is a market, and on the beach there are exercise machines, a playground, a picturesque fountain and gazebos for relaxation.

♦♦♦

Konakly- A typical coastal resort of Turkey, differing only in its advantageous position near Alanya. Konakli is located 120 km from Antalya International Airport, a transfer here takes at least 2 hours. The Antalya-Alanya highway passes through Konakli (12 km to the west), which regularly runs buses, taxis, and dolmushi minibuses to Alanya (15 minutes on the way, departure every 20 minutes).

Nature: The beaches of Konakla for the most part are small pebbles, rarely, rarely where you can find sand, but large boulders in the water are quite common. In order not to miscalculate and choose the best option for yourself (which is especially important for families with children), it is better to clarify the state of the beach in front of each specific hotel.

Infrastructure: The town has a post office, two clinics, two stadiums, a golf club, more than 30 hotels, a culture park. It will not be superfluous to make up your "sightseeing tour" in Konakli on Wednesday. It is on this day that a noisy bazaar takes place in the city - a lot of emotions from live trading, buying souvenirs, sweets and tasting delicious Turkish tea, which merchants love to offer their customers, is guaranteed. There is also an excellent two-story leather goods store in Konakli. You should definitely go to the show at the Sealanya Dolphinarium, where performances are held several times a day during the season. The dolphin show will leave a lot of positive emotions, and not only in children. In the end, all tourists are offered to take pictures and even swim with dolphins. In the territory of the dolphinarium there is also a marine park with a mass of bright fish and a favorite of the public - a toothy shark. The dolphinarium also includes a pretty beach where you can spend the rest of the day before dinner for a change. In addition, Konakli can offer its tourists a mini-golf course, a children's amusement park, discos (one of them, Summer Garden, famous even in Alanya), children's karting (10 minutes - $ 5), restaurants and bars, lots of opportunities for water sports on the beach.

♦♦♦

Mahmutlar- one of the most economical resorts of the Antalya coast, located 12 km from Alanya. Due to the maximum distance from the airport (compared to other resorts of the Mediterranean coast, of course), local hotels offer the lowest prices, even during the season. Flights from Russia arrive at the international airport of Antalya, from there a three-hour bus transfer awaits tourists. However, soon the local authorities promise that they will not have to go to Mahumutlar for long - 30 km from the resort, in the city of Gazipasha, the construction of a new airport is nearing completion.

Nature: Unlike city hotels in Alanya, Mahmutlar hotels have large green areas, ideal for a relaxing and family holiday with children in Turkey. The beaches of Mahmutlar are mostly sandy and pebble, sometimes exclusively pebble, the entry into the sea is gradual.

The Dimchay River is famous not only for its picturesque caves, but also for fish restaurants. And although this rivulet lacks the fame of Manavgat or Dalyan, this does not detract from its merits. Dimchay originates in the highlands, near the ancient city of Konya, and further down the mountain slopes to the Mediterranean Sea. Near the village on the river a cave with a salt lake formed, which is surrounded on all sides by bizarre stalactites and stalagmites. Having plenty of walks along the green shores and through the cave, tourists, as a rule, direct their stops to restaurants. And they’re doing it right: an amazing trout is found in the river, the taste of which local craftsmen bring to perfection with their skill.

Infrastructure: Twice a week, a bazaar is arranged in Mahmutlar where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables, clothes, shoes and souvenirs. Local say that in the evening, food prices are almost halved and sellers are becoming much more accommodating to bargaining. In addition, you can look into the large shopping centers located on the road to Alanya - this is Alanyum, familiar to us Metro and Kipa. You can pay there by credit card, Turkish lira, euros and dollars, but the exchange rate for the last two currencies is not the most profitable.

In Mahmutlar there is a nice park with flowers, fountains and benches, near which, on Barbaros Avenue, in the summer, artists and artisans arrange homemade souvenirs. You can buy crafts from pumpkin, jewelry, clay plates, knitwear. In addition, in the Mahmutlar region there are the ancient cities of Siedra and Laertes, with well-preserved mosques and Caravanserai.

Almost all of the hotels in Mahmutlar are persistent "middle peasants," choosing between which makes little sense: they are the same.

Recommendations: Most of the beaches of Mahmutlar are located across the road from hotels, look for underpasses, as crossing the “top” is not safe. The coast itself consists of pebbles of various sizes, some hotels pour sand for their guests, but it is quickly washed out. In general, the quality of the beaches is not bad, sometimes large stones or algae can be found in the water. It should be borne in mind that the "ancient coins" that will be offered to you in abundance here are in 99% of cases fake. Whatever price they are asked for. But as a souvenir, of course, come down.

♦♦♦

The village of Obagel - One of the European regions of Alanya. Its location is quite favorable for tourist purposes - the village stretches along the coast and borders the city center itself.

Nature: The sandy-rocky beaches of this amazingly beautiful area invite those who wish to soak up the sun in plenty and splash in the gentle and warm Mediterranean Sea. Divers who have bought last-minute trips to Obagel will definitely like here, as well as other lovers of various water sports: at the resort you can go surfing, sailing, go water skiing. And since Obagel is surrounded by the Toros Mountains, trekking and climbing are also extremely popular.

Infrastructure: Obagel is very quiet and calm. Active nightlife in it is almost absent.

♦♦♦

Obakoy It is located at a distance of 135 kilometers from Antalya and very close to Alanya. Walking distance from the center of Alanya can be reached in 30-40 minutes. You can take bus number 1 (or another, but on the first one it’s more convenient and faster, especially since he walks past the bus station) for about 10 minutes. Translated, the name of the village means “standing on the Oba River”.

Infrastructure: Obakoy offers tourists beaches of a mixed type - sand and pebble. Each beach is equipped with everything that is necessary for a comfortable stay. Free of charge at the disposal of tourists are loungers, mattresses, beach towels. On the territory of beach areas there are bars with soft and alcoholic drinks.

♦♦♦

Okurcalar- One of the warmest regions of Turkey, located on the Mediterranean coast, pleases its guests with a clean sand and pebble beach and mild subtropical climate. This resort is an ideal choice for a quality and affordable vacation. There are many hotels of different levels, not the most developed infrastructure, which means guaranteed peace and quiet, and reasonable prices. There is practically no entertainment in the village itself, therefore it is better to stay here for those who prefer to spend most of their vacation without leaving the territory of the hotels.

Infrastructure. And yet Okurcalar is a young, but intensely developing resort. More and more new hotels are being built here, cafes and restaurants, shops are opening, so that he will still gain his popularity. Until this happens, in Okurcalar you can spend fabulous two or three weeks at the most affordable prices on the entire coast.

Those who cannot imagine their lives without shopping for souvenirs and noisy bargaining will enjoy the fact that every Tuesday and Friday there is a bazaar in Okurcalar.

Okurcalar is the westernmost of the resorts of the Alanya Riviera, located 32 km from Alanya and 85 km from Antalya International Airport. Next door are the resorts Avsallar and Incekum. Behind the hotel zone runs a route connecting all these resorts together. During the season, from morning to evening, minibuses of dolmushi (3-8 lira) run on it.

There are no cultural attractions in Okurcalar itself, but there are two major resort cities nearby - Alanya and Side, where there is something to see. In Side - the ruins of an ancient city, a magnificent ancient amphitheater, the remains of pagan temples. In Alanya - a picturesque fortress on the mountain, the Red Tower and a lot of pretty shops. In addition, you can go for rafting, in a phosphoric cave or to the symbol of Antalya - Yivli minaret.

Beaches of Okrujalar although not the best on the coast, but quite worthy - sand and gravel, with a gentle entrance to the water and a very rugged coastline, so there are many bays and pretty bays. Families with children enjoy a convenient entry into the water, as well as an abundance of entertainment on the beach - from banana rides to diving. While the baby will frolic on water slides in hotels, parents will be able to look into the Turkish bath, sauna or massage. In addition, in the village there is a Water Planet Resort & Aquapark 5 * hotel with a large water park and a foam disco, where guests of other hotels can drop in for a fee.

Hotels Okurcalar. Due to the fact that for the most part Okrudzhalar is not a residential, but a resort, it is very clean and safe here even in the late evening. The hotels are located in well-groomed areas covered with palm trees and flowers, and many of them offer not only noisy main buildings, but also quiet cozy bungalows for those who seek privacy.

The resort offers a lot of hotels 4-5 stars, there are several "three rubles", but their minority. Almost all hotels can boast of picturesque tropical gardens, as well as an extensive entertainment program. Mandatory sports - tennis, beach soccer and volleyball, billiards, bowling, water polo. Many offer their guests gyms and fitness clubs, medical centers, Turkish baths and saunas. In addition, most of the hotels here are located right on the seashore, which means that the busy highway does not interfere with a relaxing holiday.

♦♦♦

Tosmur - A relatively new area of Alanya, which stretches towards the mountains. This popular resort area is located 4 km east of the city center. In the immediate vicinity, the entire infrastructure of the city, recreation areas and municipal transport. Great ecology. Lack of industrial enterprises. In Tosmur, there is a well-groomed promenade, well-maintained sandy beaches, clean, with sun loungers and umbrellas, several supermarkets and many shops, cafes and pharmacies. Close to Tosmur, there is a well-known holiday destination in the mountains in Alanya - Dim Chai. Locals and tourists come here for a picnic or in restaurants.

Nature: Tosmur is surrounded by lemon and orange groves. The mountain river gives coolness on hot days, the water temperature in the river is only about 15 degrees. Tosmur also has a magnificent beach and promenade.

Infrastructure: Children will be interested in visiting the Troy water park and the dolphinarium.

♦♦♦

Turkler. The village of Turkler is located 90 km. (2-2.5 hours by bus) from Antalya International Airport just behind the village of Avsalar. The Turkler on the map is often referred to as Incekum Alanya. The distance to Alanya is small - about 20 km. In the past, Turkler was a real pirate's den, now this excellent Mediterranean resort with the most affordable prices in Turkey.

Nature: The beach at this place is sandy. The entrance to the sea is gentle, also accordingly sandy. Of course there are small pebbles underfoot, but this does not spoil the splendor of the golden sand.

Infrastructure: A large shopping center has been built in the village, located in the very center of the peninsula. There are also several shopping streets with souvenir and branded shops, cozy cafes and restaurants. The city has a clinic and several offices of local travel agencies, where you can purchase a wide variety of excursions. For children there is an entertainment park Sealanya. The territory of the institution is quite large and occupies five hectares of land. The Sealanya Dolphinpark and the Sealanya Seapark Waterpark are located on this square. The dolphinarium amazes with its originality and the impressive size of the arenas for performances. The show involves several dolphins and fur seals, who very skillfully perform a variety of tricks. The Seapark water park has a clean beach, a children's entertainment area, several bars and restaurants. In addition, the park has a green area with an aviary, in which crocodiles live.

Recommendations: Turkler district is practically a paradise for any tourists. Nice, kind town with hotels and its Shopping Center. Gorgeous nature, a unique aroma of flowering vegetation and of course this magnificent, clean sandy beach!

TOURIST RESPONSES:

Pammukale is located quite far from the resort area of the Antalya coast. It takes about 8 hours to get here by bus. For those who are interested in history and who want to see a unique creation of nature - a cotton castle, I highly recommend this trip. Its cost for one day is $ 50 per adult, for children under 8 years old is free, from 8 years old - 25 dollars. I preferred a one-day tour, and after me friends went on a two-day tour. The advantages are that you do not get so exhausted on the road, and the programs are very similar in terms of richness and richness of content. They were transported more to different shopping centers, because, as you know, in Turkey tourism and shopping are indivisible.

You can buy a tour as with your guide at the hotel, and if you want to save money, you can at the travel agency of your resort town. In principle, they rarely cheat now. If only, as it was once with me, you will not be in a group with Russian-speaking tourists. However, you should be informed about this in advance, to receive from you either consent or refusal. I didn’t refuse with my friends and for four they gave us a separate Russian-speaking guide. Therefore, we traveled as VIPs. But this is not about that.

Upon arrival in the Pammukale district, the excursion began with a visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis, or rather what remains.

You could see the gate or it was a triumphal arch.

The guide showed us the once-existing baths with a skillfully designed water flow system by architects.

There is also an amphitheater, which was used not only for gladiator fights, but also for theater performances. The acoustics here were excellent.

After exploring the ancient city, we were taken to the famous Cleopatra basin and given about an hour of free time. The Pammukale district is famous for the presence of medicinal waters, here the Cleopatra basin is a spring with mineral water, the temperature of which is 36 degrees. To be in warm water and in small bubbles, I say, is not very pleasant. The guide warned that the maximum can be 10 minutes, then it is better to go out, otherwise you can feel bad. There are many people here, everyone wants to get a dose of relaxation and recovery at the same time.

The bottom is paved with stones, here are the remains of the columns, so you should move extremely carefully, otherwise you can damage your legs in the blood. There is a small "nook" in the pool, there are fewer people, but not everyone can swim there.

Then, according to the plan of the excursion, lunch. It is included in the price, but no drinks. Therefore, in order to save, buy water in advance and take it with you. I do not want to pay $ 1-2 for a glass of ordinary water.

After lunch - a trip to the Castle of Cotton. He was called cotton because the color of the cascading mountains (terraces) is white. Year after year, for thousands of years, nature has created this miracle. There is water in the terraces. Thermal springs are beaten here, which are known for their healing properties.

Before entering the terraces, shoes are removed. I want to warn you right away that sometimes it is very slippery and you can easily fall, and even fly a few meters. There are no fences here, so you must be extremely careful. There are also very narrow paths, and there are a lot of people. Therefore, I highly recommend not going here with young children, it is better to admire the beauty from afar, or not to go far.

The healing properties of Pammukale water have been known for at least 4 centuries. People come here specifically for treatment and spend a long time. For one visit, as we tourists do, there will be no anti-aging effect from being in the same Cleopatra basin, even if you are there for hours, but watching this creation of nature is certainly interesting.

After a trip to Pammukale, the tour continues. Tourists are usually taken to a number of shopping centers. we were in the jewelry, as well as onyx factory. We were shown the process of processing the stone, its transformation into various types of products that could be bought right there. These are vases, figurines, chess, various figures. If you compare the cost, it is cheaper than on the coast. Nice gift and souvenir from Turkey. We have the same things are many times more expensive.

Despite the duration, the trip really liked. Pammukale cannot but make a pleasant impression. There are many interesting places in this area and they are associated with the name of Cleopatra, Mark Anthony. By the way, Cleopatra's pool was previously part of the Roman baths and was a wedding present to the great queen.

Helpful answer?

Manavgat is both a city and a river and the name of a waterfall. Manavgat is rightfully considered a resort area of the Antalya coast, but since the rest there is mostly river, it is somehow not interesting to stay there. But to come there for a review, to get acquainted with the sights of this area, as well as a break from the ever soaring sun, it is certainly worth it. This is a great opportunity to change the seascape on the river, spend time in restaurants under the shade of trees and enjoy the taste of cacti, which local boys sell there.

As for the trip to the waterfall, the cost cost about $ 35. The waterfall in Manavgat is not a natural phenomenon, but in fact the creation of human hands. It was formed as a result of the construction of a dam on the Manavgat River. The length of the waterfall is about 40 meters, and the height is relatively small 2-3 meters. The water here is emerald.

Near the waterfall, a "parked" park. You can admire its other beauties. Wander through the narrow winding streets, watch the swimming of local ducks, or spend time in a cafe overlooking the flowing liters of water.

For some reason, all tourists were attracted by cats. Unlike their relatives living in Russia, they have a triangular muzzle. It seems to be the same cats, but no - others, foreign.

I advise you to try a cactus. They are sold right there in the park. They will clean everything for you, so you don’t have to experience any inconvenience from the cleaning process. As the great Arkady Raikin said: - "The taste is specific."

What a tour without souvenirs. In the park they can also be purchased, however, prices are much higher than on the coast.

The second no less attractive and interesting is a tour of the Manavgat River with access to the sea. You are brought in as a group on a tourist bus, transferred to a ship. Such a trip costs about $ 35-40 for an adult and $ 20 for a child. Lunch is included, while drinks are included. But this rule holds true throughout Turkey. Drinks are business.

A ship filled with busy tourists first goes along the river.

Along the coast, you can see successive settlements, fish farms in which trout are grown. This is the fish you get for dinner with a different side dish.

On trees that fall into the water with their branches, you can see turtles. They cause tremendous delight among tourists and all as one immediately take up photos and video cameras.

They make a stop here. You can go out and even swim first in fresh water, then run across the scythe and plunge into sea water. Not everyone decided to take water baths in fresh water. the temperature in Manavgat is 16 degrees, and in the sea 28-30. I preferred to be an observer.

After stopping, the ship continues to move towards the historical part of Side. Here it is mono to see the remains of the temple of Apollo, as well as fragments of other ancient buildings.

You can buy souvenirs with views of ancient Side. The most popular among our tourist group were clay plates.

I want to say that the ship was not only tourists from Russia, but also Germany, Poland, Serbia, England. Therefore, there were several guides and we listened to the story in different languages, but this did not interfere at all.

The whole tour takes about 4 hours, with the road plus another 2 hours, depending on where you are coming from. On the way back, a performance was organized on the ship. We had a Turkish woman performing a belly dance. Those tourists, who still had strength, also went to a dance, others who fell into pleasant fatigue were passive observers.

The hotel will be for dinner. There were many children on the trip, rest for them is also informative and interesting.

You can go to Manavgat yourself, for example, by renting a car. Since I already visited the waterfall and the river, on the third visit I decided to visit the city of Manavgat itself. Largest from the third after Antalya and Alanya. There are also many interesting and noteworthy places. The most iconic landmark of the city is a large mosque with five minarets.

It is interesting and informative to see something new, especially in a country like Turkey. It is rich in historical past and it will be a bad man to be here and not to see this story, especially when it is so close.

The resort village on the Antalya coast, located 20 kilometers from Alanya, 8 kilometers of the Mediterranean coast. The village is located in one of the most picturesque places of the region on one side, the blue expanse of the sea on the other, high peaks of the Toros mountains, whitening with snow caps. Nature gave this place warm weather with an average annual temperature of about 22 degrees and a mild pronounced Mediterranean climate. This place, due to its climate and convenient location, was popular with all the empires that ruled on Turkish soil.
Incekum is beaches and nature of exceptional beauty, the cozy bays that divide the resort's beach area are ideal for both family vacations and romantic evenings in company with your loved one. The fine sand of Incekum beaches (hence the name of the village) is ideal for a comfortable stay, and a high level of service and a rich beach infrastructure add positive emotions to every vacationer. Near the village there is a large mountain river Managavt, where rafting and fishing are possible for those who get bored on the beach. And of course, walking around the surroundings and enjoying the beauties of nature can be a great alternative to beach idleness.
If you want to get acquainted with historical monuments, which, alas, are not observed in Inzekum, you can always go to the ancient city of Side, which is located at a distance covered in about half an hour. Side, this is a real museum, which preserved examples of ancient architecture, such as baths, temples built in the 2nd century BC and other attractions. Also, the city is famous for its history here at all times it was lively, trade was in full swing and life was seething from dawn to dusk. Today, little has changed, except that they do not sell slaves in the markets, on the whole, the city is still as crowded and noisy, and the music rattles at night, and the discos in clubs, of which there are so many, do not stop.
And a little further than a hundred kilometers from Incekum stands another vibrant city full of monuments - Antalya. On the site of this city already in the 4th century BC life was in full swing. Today, here you can see a lot of ancient buildings visiting the Old Town or visiting the archaeological museum. In addition, in the vicinity of the city are picturesque natural sites, one of which is the national park Kursunlu. It is also worth noting that Antalya is one of the most popular Turkish resorts, which means that there are many infrastructure facilities and places where you can spend cultural time. There are also many beaches in Antalya, but whether they are better than the beaches of Incekuma is a big question.
