Safari park spain. Safari in Alicante. The price does not include entrance fees to the park.

A few kilometers away is the most interesting and most impressive amusement park in southern Spain - selwo Aventura Safari Parkwhich is definitely worth a visit if you are planning your own.
Located on more than 100 hectares, the safari park is an open zoo where animals live in natural habitats. I would like to note that the park is part of the same network with the Selwo Marina dolphinarium and the Telerifico cable car located in the city of Benalmadena, so by buying one ticket to visit all three places, you can save a lot.

Selvo Aventura Safari Park - prices

Here we give prices for visiting only safari park (at the time of writing): an adult ticket (from 10 years old) costs 24.50 euros per person, children (from 3 to 9 years old) - 17 euros. If you order tickets online, then the discount is 1 euro per ticket. It is possible to purchase one ticket per family, depending on the number of children, which will come out a little cheaper than if you bought each ticket separately.

The safari park is open mainly in the summer, in winter the park is closed and begins to work approximately from the beginning of March. In any case, when planning your vacation on the southern coast of Spain, it is better to clarify the park’s opening hours, prices, and, possibly, book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee a pleasure from visiting the park. All this can be done on the website of the safari park: http://www.selwo.es/en.
A small remark: even if you’re not used to booking tickets on your own and prefer to buy all the excursions and tickets from the guide, in this case, it’s better to do it yourself and get a guaranteed discount on all three places!

Safari park - how to get there

A trip to the safari park must be planned for the whole day, since two or three hours to study it is definitely not enough for you. A big minus in its location: getting to the safari park will not be very easy if you stayed not in Marbella and not in Estepona. So, a free bus runs from the park on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but the route and arrival time must be specified in advance with the guide or by phone on the website. With this bus you are guaranteed to get free to the park from Marbella. But keep in mind that you need to book seats on the bus in advance, otherwise the driver will not let you in.

If you don’t get on the bus from the park, it’s most convenient to get to the park by taxi, since a regular bus running between cities along the coast doesn’t take you to the park, and you’ll have to walk a decent distance uphill in the heat, and even and with children, completely uncomfortable.

In principle, in the most extreme case, if you do not want to spend time and energy on the road to the safari park on the same day, but you want to go there, you can book a hotel at the park and stay there for several days. But this option is good for those who travel independently by car, and of course, if your children are not very small, since civilization will be available only a few kilometers in the form of the city of Estepona.

Selwo Aventura - pets and entertainment

Well, now let's see why we talked for so long about how to get to the park. After reading about how to get to the park, and seeing decent prices for entry tickets, you have probably already started to wonder if it is worth going there!
Calm down! Having gone to a safari park, you will definitely have a good day with your children. The park has collected more than two thousand animals from several continents, and they live not in cages, as in an ordinary zoo, but freely walking around the park in the areas allotted to them. Speaking of the safety of your children: all areas are securely fenced with nets, but do not lose vigilance to avoid unnecessary injuries, as the terrain is very mountainous.

The park is divided into three large zonesthat rise to the top of the mountain (by the way, from the mountain in fine weather you can see the coast of Africa!). Between sectors you can move both on foot and in open truck jeeps that regularly come to the stops marked on the map.

Immediately stipulate what these truck jeepsso that you have no surprises when you arrive at the safari park. You will ride high trucks like KAMAZ with an open top. In the back there are wooden benches with handrails to hold on to. And you need to hold on tightly, since the path passes first high up a narrow winding road, and then goes down very strongly down to the beginning of the park. So keep an eye on your children continuously during the trip!

In general, we recommend that you build your journey through the park in such a way that you can reach the summit by jeep, and down, if you have the strength and if it is possible with your children, go down on foot. But if you are with a stroller, then it’s also better to go down in jeeps, because between the zones the crossings will be in the form of suspension bridges, on which to carry both a child and a stroller will be problematic!

The first sector that you fall into after passing ticket control is Natura Portico. The flora and fauna of this sector is represented by animals and vegetation of a tropical and subtropical climate. Similar vegetation is just located near the Great Lake in Africa. Here you will meet nimble cheetahs, gazelles, unusual red pandas, caimans, flamingos, various monkeys and small meerkats.

In 2012, a new site was opened on the territory of this zone - “ land of hyenas"Which are a symbol of African living creatures. Immediately located is a kind of tropical forest, where you can meet a special kind of lemur living only in Madagascar.

For the youngest visitors to the park, this is where mini zoo, where you can pet such animals like lambs, rabbits, piglets. There is no limit to the delight of the kids, but parents need to have a large supply of wet wipes with them!
Near the contact zoo there is an entrance to a small farm with dwarf goats, do not miss it in any case! Both you and your children will like it.

Older children, as well as, in principle, adults, can have fun by jumping on a vine through the lake, which is a small copy of the Great Lake, located in Africa. To participate in this attraction, your weight must not exceed 90 kg. In the same sector there is a souvenir shop and a snack bar.

From the Natura Portico sector you can get into a small area - canyon of birds with many rare species of birds of South Africa, which connects the upper and lower parts of the park.

Next, you will move to the territory where lynxes live. Some species of lynx that live in the park are threatened with extinction in their natural habitat. Here your kids will be delighted to see a special breed of otters - small clawed otters. Cute, well-fed otters will gladly receive from you a good dozen cookies that will be eaten to the delight of your children.

The most impressive sector of the park is Central Village. To the right of Birds Canyon you will find a very picturesque part, inhabited by the largest mammals of South Africa. Floppy rhinos, tall giraffes, thick hippos - that's who will meet you in this part of the sector. The same territory also sheltered smaller mammals, not exceeding a weight of 400 kg: zebras, antelopes, some species of which are no longer represented in Africa due to their destruction.

Not far from this part is a family of elephants. Their family leader, Kanwar elephant, is known throughout the world for being the only Asian elephant born and raised not in his homeland, but in this safari park. He was born approximately in July 2008. This species of elephants is subject to the threat of destruction in natural conditions.

The central village is a kind of middle safari park. Just here you can observe a family of lions - the leaders of animals of the African savannah. The huge aviary is fenced with glass walls, animals can be seen from different angles. There is also a cave with bats, a terrarium and a platform with eagles, where, like in Benalmadena, eagle shows are held. The territory of the camels is a little to the side, where you can even ride them.

In the Central Village sector, there is a small self-service restaurant called El Mirador de Africa. In fact, the restaurant is located at one of the highest points above sea level, offering magnificent views of the coast.
But, unfortunately, in this restaurant you will find great disappointment in the form of absolutely tasteless food and great prices. If older children can still choose a more or less edible dish for themselves, then it will be very difficult to feed the kids here. It is very disappointing that the quality of food here leaves much to be desired, because after such a busy day you still want to have a full dinner, and not to get enough sandwiches from the snack bars that are found along the way in other sectors.

Way back can be overcome both in jeeps departing from a stop next to the restaurant, and on foot if you still have strength. Please note that the entire road is winding and mountainous, both climbing by cars and descending on foot! Part of the descent on foot passes, as we have already said, on suspension bridges. If you have strong nerves, you can stand in the middle of the bridge and admire the animals below, which you saw from the window of safari jeeps. If such an extreme does not appeal to you, then it is better to go back the same way as here.

The park is divided into 2 parts. First you need to drive a car among lions, giraffes, deer, donkeys. The second part is a regular zoo.

Safari Aitana (Safari Aitana) - the most popular of the three safari parks on the Costa Blanca (near Valencia). It is located away from megacities, near the town of Penagila (Penáguila) in the province of Alicante. The park is located in the Sierra de Aytana mountains at an altitude of about 1000 m.

Safari Aitana is divided into two unequal parts. For the most part of the territory, tourists travel by car (the length of the path is 7 km); at least they go on foot. You can drive the route with a guide or on your own. We arrived there by car.

The safari park was created on a private initiative of the spouses of Seville in 1975. He survived difficult times in connection with the drought of 1983, but now he is developing confidently again. Here, in the natural habitat or in conditions close to it, representatives of the fauna of five continents live.

Moving along a winding route, we met ostriches and giraffes, hippos and buffalos, zebras, donkeys, mountain goats. Visitors are allowed to get out of the car where herbivores live.

The most exciting moment is safari with predators. Unfortunately, lions and tigers are allowed to pass only with closed windows without stopping. An elephant trainer looks after elephants so that the giants do not harm people. Lena liked to stroke an elephant in a warm trunk.

We watched the feeding of the inhabitants of the safari park (when not crowded, workers are allowed to give some animals a suitable treat).

A “mini-zoo” has been created in the pedestrian zone. There live raccoons and monkeys, poisonous snakes and parrots, loud peacocks walk on the territory.

Park outline

The park has picnic areas, a playground, a rustic restaurant.

Opening hours and ticket prices:

The safari park is open daily from 11:00 to 19:00. Ticket price: adult - € 20, children (4 - 10 years old) - € 16. You can also watch the feeding of animals at 11:00 and 15:00.

How do I save on hotels?

Everything is very simple - look not only at the booking. I prefer the search engine RoomGuru. He is looking for discounts at the same time on Booking and on 70 other booking sites.

Aitana Safari Park is located in the mountains at an altitude of 1000 m. Its spacious enclosures are inscribed in the surrounding landscape so that it seems that the animals are free. It is more convenient to get acquainted with the collection with the help of a guide who will tell interesting facts about each of the pets, but you can do it yourself if you wish. Moving around the territory is carried out only by car.

In the Aytana safari park, tourists will see zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants, porcupines, raccoons, noses, camels, mountain goats and rams, as well as walking donkeys, ponies, cows, piglets and goats. All these animals (except hippos and elephants) are allowed to pet and feed. In addition, the collection also has large predators: tigers, lions, jaguars, cougars and lynxes. At the end of the tour, you can take a picture with a hand python.

The infrastructure of the safari park includes toilets and the Kanibal restaurant, stylized in an African style. The restaurant serves local cuisine as well as snacks (burgers, sandwiches, etc.).

Safari Park Safari Aitana. Benidorm. Costa Blanca.

A great way to get a lot of positive impressions is to go to a real safari park. It is located 33 km from Benidorm, the Spanish resort of entertainment. Safari is located at a distance of 20 km from Alicante on a mountain serpentine.

Tigers and elephants, lions and giraffes, hippos and zebras live in the park. We buy bread in advance, because it will be possible to feed the giraffes, however, these animals, with pleasure eating a treat, do not allow themselves to be stroked (.

Aytan Safari

You can move around the park on foot, but this is dangerous in places where predators are located. There is a single-lane road in the park, everyone moves in cars, slowing down near animals. Remember that animals are wild, and can inadvertently kick or take a treat with their teeth.

On the territory it is forbidden to touch animals and feed, but visitors are touchingly pulling their hands to gullible lamas, deer, and donkeys. Animals themselves put their faces in the open windows of the car, hoping to treat themselves to a piece of apple.

Giraffe and Llama require refreshments)))))

For visitors, Aitan Safari is divided into two territories. One park in which animals move freely around the territory, visitors drive in their own cars. The second park is bypassed, it is small.

In places where panthers, tigers and lions live, a net is stretched, but just in case, the car windows must be kept closed. You can approach the elephant, they walk, accompanied by a park employee. A walk through the safari park enthralls both children and adults, and the magnificent photographs taken in the background and next to the animals remain in memory. On the territory there is a restaurant where you can strengthen your strength before visiting the second park, in which monkeys and birds live.
A ticket for an adult costs 17 euros, but if you go to the Safari Aitana official website and buy a ticket there, you can save 10%.

Guadelest Alicante

Returning back, you can call in Guadalest, a mountain village, which is located in a picturesque place above the reservoir. There are many souvenir shops in the village, and a shop selling inexpensive leather goods. There are many museums in the village.

Guadelest Alicante

For example, one is museo de tortura y pena capital, a museum of torture that tells about criminal law and the penal system of the 12th-17th centuries. I think the museum was created in memory of the period of the Inquisition, which was in use precisely in Spain. The village has a fortress, the cost of visiting which is within 3.5 - 1.5 euros, depending on age. For parking, you also have to pay about 2 euros.

Found in the network funny YouTube videos. Judge for yourself, here’s TOP 5: Sveta is an Internet star, kungfu cat, Russians don’t give up, we fish correctly, a cat on a trampoline. Have you watched?
