The most picturesque places on the planet. The most incredible places on Earth (34 photos). Benagil Sea Cave

Our planet is beautiful. And the more a person travels, the more he is convinced of it. But to visit all the beautiful places, cities, lagoons and natural sites, all life is not enough. It is difficult to make a rating of "Top 10 most beautiful places on the planet." And what can serve as a criterion? People have different aesthetic flavors. In addition, there are man-made landscapes, the view of which is breathtaking. This, for example, tulip fields in Holland, flower plantations in Provence, Hitachi Park near the Japanese city of Hitatinaka, broken in 1991 on the site of a former military base, or the Rhine Valley with its medieval castles and vineyards. But we still chose the top ten dizzying landscapes that everyone should like. In this article we will list the most beautiful places on the planet with a description of them and photographs. Do you agree with the rating below?

Big blue hole

This unique natural phenomenon is invariably present in all lists of the most beautiful places on our planet. Perhaps he does not always occupy the first line. Not far from the Yucatan Peninsula, along the Caribbean coast, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef stretches for 700 kilometers.

On the site of the underwater coral ridge Lighthouse, Jacques Yves Cousteau discovered the Blue Hole. The phenomenon is administratively owned by Belize and is located a hundred kilometers from the coast of this Latin American country. The hole is a perfectly round hole with a diameter of 305 meters and a depth of 120 m. Among the azure of shallow water, it seems to be a dark blue pupil. Alas, the most beautiful places on the planet are often the most inaccessible. You can admire the hole from the air. But in order to fully enjoy the beauty of this phenomenon, you need to immerse yourself in it - in the most literal sense of the word. If you are a professional diver, an unforgettable sight will open for you. The walls are surrounded by stalactites, and huge groupers, stingrays and lemon sharks inhabit this “cave”.

Geyser "Fly"

The most beautiful places on the planet are not limited only to masterpieces created by nature, such as, for example, the Blue Hole. Geyser Fly is a thermal and permanent source at the eponymous ranch in the US state of Nevada.

This beauty arose ... by mistake. In 1916, the rancher wanted to cut a well. But in his zeal he reached the geothermal pocket. Boiling water began to dissolve mineral rocks and in 1964 came to the surface. Now the geyser throws three jets of water to a height of one and a half meters. Cyanobacteria, algae and calcium carbonate stain the liquid in fancy colors. Unfortunately, few can be beautiful. And not because the ranch is located in the impregnable mountains. No, the geyser, which occupies the second position in the “Top of the most beautiful places on the planet”, is located 30 km from Gerlach and very close to the R34 road. But the ranchers carefully hide their wealth and let only those whom they wish look at it. All attempts to redeem the territory in order to make the passage to the geyser accessible to the public have not yet been crowned with success.

Crystal river

The official name for this aquatic artery is Caño Cristales. But the local tribes that live in the jungle of Central Colombia call it the “River of Five Flowers” or “Escaped from Paradise”. Many planets are in the tropics. But Caño Cristales is the most original river.

Its waters are really colored in red, green, yellow, black and blue. So they do the inhabitants of the river - algae. A rainbow flows through the foothills of the Amazon rainforest. You can get to this natural phenomenon with a guided tour of the Serrania de la Macarena National Park. The tours last four days and are held from June to November, during the period of rapid flowering of algae.

Colorado River Bend

Many of the most beautiful places on the planet, photos of which are known to everyone from posters and postcards, are located in the USA. The government of this country anxiously protects natural attractions, creating national parks and reserves. The Colorado River itself is very picturesque. But there is such a section in its channel, which, bending, forms the shape of an ideal horseshoe. To look at such beauty is best from a bird's eye view - from the helicopter. A Colorado bend is located near the town of Page, eight kilometers below Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam.

Arizona wave

To see this natural phenomenon, you need to be lucky and win the lottery. Why? Because these mountains are formed from ancient sand dunes about two hundred million years ago. Under the influence of winds and rains, the ridge acquired a truly unearthly landscape. However, the excessive presence of people here can be destroyed by soft sandstone. Therefore, only twenty people are allowed here per day. Ten vouchers are raffled online four months before the tour, and another 10 the day before on R89. This highway runs close to the already mentioned Page. It just so happened that these most beautiful places on the planet - the bend of Colorado and the Martian landscape of the Arizona wave - are located nearby.

Cueva de los Cristales Cave

Some of the most beautiful places on the planet, alas, are hidden underground. This natural object was discovered recently - in the two thousandth year. And then the Mexican city of Chihuahua became known not only as the birthplace of the dog breed Chihuahua (Chihuahuan). When laying a new mining tunnel, we stumbled upon an underground cavity filled with water. Its depth is three hundred meters. But not because of this, the cave was in the Top 10 "The most beautiful places on the planet." The photo shows the giant ray-shaped crystals that grew on the walls of the underground halls. Some of them reach a size of fifteen meters. And most interestingly, these crystals formed in the aquatic environment. For several hundred thousand years, selenite (a type of gypsum) settled on the walls of the maze. Tourists are not allowed into the cave, because the temperature in it is +60 о С, and the air is hydrogen sulfide.

Saline Salar de Uyuni

The facility is located near the high mountain lake Titicaca. It is named in the nearby town of Uyuni (Bolivia). It is the largest dry lake in the world. But not because of the size it fell into the rating "The most beautiful places on the planet." A huge field is covered with small crystals of salt. They shine so much in the desert sun that you can’t do without goggles. But that is not all. Tourists are taken to look at the salt marsh during the rainy season, which lasts in Bolivia from November to March. Then this natural attraction again turns into a shallow lake. But a high concentration of salt gives water the properties of a mirror. Reflecting sky merges with the horizon.

Later, the lake is covered with salt crust. Water breaks out in small cone-shaped volcanoes. The city of Uyuni is also famous for the Fishing Island (Isla de Pescadores). In fact, this is an oasis in which eight-meter cacti grow, whose age sometimes reaches up to a thousand years. And the coast of the salt flats is surrounded by a forest of stones. Fancy sculptures created by rains and wind.

Spotted Lake Klluk

Three seasons a year is the most common body of water. And only in the hot summer, the expanse and shores of the lake turn into the most beautiful places on the planet. This reservoir has the highest concentration of sodium, calcium, magnesium sulfate, titanium and silver in the world. When the summer heat comes, the upper layer of water dries up. Minerals form multi-colored islands - “ice floes” that float on the surface of the lake, and you can walk on them. Imagine! The color of such icebergs depends on the predominant substance. The facility is located near the city of Osoios in Canada, near the border with the United States.

Europeans gave the reservoir the name Spotted Lake, which is a literal translation of the name given to the object by the Okanagan Indians. For them, Kliluk is still a sacred place. After all, the waters of the lake heal wounds. The indigenous population bought a pond and does not allow whites to it. You can admire the lake only from afar - from the highway.

Enchanted Well

If the Canadian lake is included in the Top 10 "Beautiful places of the planet Earth" only in the summer, then this attraction reveals its magic only for an hour and a half a day. After all, there is an enchanted well at the bottom of an 80-meter cave. The water in it is so clear that you can see the bottom to the smallest detail. But the well is deep - thirty-seven meters! At the bottom lie trees and branches that fell into the cave many years ago. The well opens its spell from half-past ten to noon. Then the sun's rays penetrate the cave.

As if by wave of a fairy wand, everything - a pond and the walls of an underground cavity - is illuminated by a magical sapphire light. This phenomenal natural site is located in the Chapada Diamontina National Park in northeast Brazil. Due to the fragility of the eco-system, access to the well is strictly regulated.

Marble Caves

And closes the list of "The most beautiful places on the planet" lake, lying on the border of Argentina and Chile. It has three names at once. The Argentines call him Buenos Aires, the Chileans call General Carrera, and the local tribes of the Indians call Chelenko, which means "Lake Storm." The name is very good, because the climate here is harsh, mountainous. But the lake is teeming with fish, especially trout and salmon. The most beautiful and original corner is located on the Chilean side. These are Marble Caves.

The valuable stone here is visible and invisible. And marble in caves of different shades - even deep blue. The sun's rays penetrating the cave arches force the mineral to play with hundreds of colors.

Such a statement could only be made by a person who has no idea that planet Earth is rich in truly beautiful natural places and creations. Moreover, they were created both by Mother Nature and by the activities of people themselves.

Of course, to make any rating of the most beautiful places in the world is quite problematic, because it is impossible to talk about every amazingly beautiful place on the planet. Moreover, the very meaning of the word “beauty” is extremely subjective. True, there are striking corners that differ not only in their picturesque beauty, but also in world-wide fame. Here they will be discussed in today's article.

Grand Canyon

Today, the Grand Canyon, without a doubt, is a miracle of nature, perfectly investigated, studied by scientists. The moment of his alleged formation falls on a period of time more than 100 centuries ago. At that time it was a plain formed from shale, sand and limestone rock, along which the Colorado River flowed. Under the pressure of natural influence, the plain began to rise, while unsteady rocks were washed out by the river, forming the outlines of the present miracle of nature.

And today Colorado, flowing with an intensity of 20 km / h in 24 hours, washes away about 500 thousand tons of rock formations, giving the water a cloudy, red tint. In the region, climatic conditions are not identical. The top temperature is +150, while the bottom surface of the soil is heated up to +400. The color scheme of the Grand Canyon is the most diverse. The palette of colors shimmers from purplish-brown, black to bluish-gray, pale pink.

True, to evaluate the beauty of the canyon can only be right next to it. It should be noted the fact that not a single bridge is thrown across the gorge. Therefore, anyone who wants to move from North Rim Headquaters to the village located on the south side of the canyon (the distance between them is no more than 19 km) will be forced to travel over 322 km.

Great Barrier Reef

One of the most beautiful places on our planet is the Australian Great Barrier Reef. In addition, it is in a place of honor on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The structure of the reef "metropolis" is coral formations, providing the creation of an amazing combination of its inhabitants. The rarest dolphins and whales, green turtles and a large number of various mollusks live here.

The Australian Reef is the largest coral organism. It is located in the northeastern region of the coast of Australia and stretches along the length of the shallow continent for 2.3 thousand km. The width in the northern part is 2 km, while in the southern part it is about 150 km. Australia is proud of this famous and very beautiful place, attracting a huge number of tourists from every corner of the planet.

The Great Barrier Reef is the formation of billions of scanty microorganisms called polyps. Moreover, the result of their vital activity is noticeable even from space. This coral ecosystem is represented by 2.9 thousand isolated reef formations and 900 islands. The area of this work of art is 348 698 km².

Cape town

The village rightfully belongs to the best corner of the earth and at the same time the most beautiful city. Cape Town is surrounded by mountain ranges, while natural beauty can strike the most unimpressive imagination. Toward the close of the day, a light presentation is further evidence that Cape Town actually belongs to one of the most amazing points on earth.

In the city center, one can observe the accumulation of traditions of the English colonies. It is lined with Old Dutch-style mansions and Victorian buildings. But more solid popularity among tourists is Table Mountain. This miracle of nature has a flat top, located at an altitude of 1 km. It is the largest attraction in Cape Town and a completely free range for climbers.

Taj Mahal

Of course, one cannot neglect and not include the masterpiece Taj Mahal in the Top 10 of the most striking corners of the planet. The mausoleum was built over 20 years in Agra. The building is quite symbolic and saturated with the most beautiful feeling - because for its construction, white marble slabs, considered an emblem of love, were used.

The Taj Mahal was built according to the standard style of Persia and is a complex of magnificent, rich buildings made of white marble. The main place is allocated directly to the mausoleum located in the center of the site.

It is made in cubic form, having cut corners, and its giant dome crowns it. The Taj Mahal was erected on a square base, at the 4 corners are high minarets. Inside this miracle has a significant number of halls and rooms, which are decorated with mosaics, paintings of ornate ornaments and delicate patterns.

Rokis Mountains

Another great place worth mentioning is in Canada. Moreover, the attraction was formed only by the efforts of the natural elements. This miracle is called - Mount Rokis. On their area there are 6 national parks, where there are monuments included in the UNESCO list. The mountain range includes amazing cave, canyon formations, waterfalls and lakes of amazing beauty.

Rokis Mountains - part of the Pacific Cordillera. The highest point of the ridge is Mount Robson, because its altitude is 3954 m, while the lowest point is Mount Liard with a height of 305 m. The length of the mountain range is 603 km with a length from north to south of Canada. The total area of the ridge is 93,409 m2.

Machu picchu

Machu Picchu is one of the most amazing buildings of the most ancient American peoples, amazing archaeological ruins located on the territory of today's Peru. Machu Picchu or otherwise “Lost City”, is on the UNESCO list, and in 2007 received the status of a New Wonder of the World. The time of the opening of the “Lost City” was in 1911 and this was done by Hiram Bingham from Yale University.

But the name of the city is hidden in antiquity to this day. Machu Picchu is a mountain peak located near this miracle. Only the elite could enter the fortress. Here lived the priests, the highest nobility, servants and artisans. Basically, the place served as a dwelling place for mamakunas - the chosen virgins, whose whole life was devoted to serving the deity of the Sun.

The Lost City is a sector of dungeons, cemeteries, temples and a residential area. In total, the city has about two hundred buildings. In the center of the city rises the temple of the Sun - Intiuatan. Moreover, this sacred place of the highest Inca deity is preserved to this day in a single copy.

Giza Valley of the Pyramids

The list of the most beautiful and amazing corners of the earth would be incomplete without indicating the valley of the pyramids in Giza. We were able to get acquainted with the greatest buildings even from the school curriculum of history. However, the mystery of the construction of the pyramids is unknown today. Truths are increasingly being discovered by the scientific community that indicate the impossibility of erecting these structures only by human hands.

Now these pyramids belong to the amazing and most important architectural monument of the ancient Egyptian people. It is not for nothing that they are on the list of “New Seven Wonders of the World”. The ancient complex is represented by the three largest pyramids - the Cheops Pyramid, which is also a preserved miracle from the list of “Seven Wonders of the World”.

The complex is also represented by the pyramids of Hafra and Minkaura and the pyramids of the queens, the Great Sphinx and the valley. The three main pyramids were erected by the ancient people of Egypt for the burial of the pharaohs. They are an impressive sight, since the pharaohs were distinguished by a love of greatness and luxury.

Petra

Today, Jordan has its main attraction - Petra, which is visited by millions of tourists from all over the world. The architects who built the city, inconceivably hollowed out caves in the rock, giving the dead stone the appearance of magnificent temples and tombs. But in those days, after all, there were no advanced tools, while the technological level did not reach 50% of the modern one.

But people with bare hands were able to create real masterpieces that have survived for centuries. According to legend, the Nabataeans, who were the descendants of Shem, the world famous son of Noah, did this. B 3 BC they formed the state of Nabatea. The most important for the economic development of the time caravan routes passed through its territory.

For this reason, the Nabataean state was an attractive “piece of cake” for neighboring kingdoms, which led to regular attacks. However, the Nabataeans not only repelled all the attacks of the invaders, but also managed to subjugate part of Syria, retaining independence even during the expansion of the strong Roman Empire. Petra was the former capital of an ancient extinct state.

the great Wall of China

One more truly amazing point on our planet is the Great Wall of China, which is not only an incredible monument of Ancient China, but also its symbol. No wonder it is referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." At the same time, this historical monument is the longest defensive structure, concealing a large number of puzzles even today. Moreover, the structure is a subject for heated debate of the scientific community.

According to some data, the length of the wall is 4 thousand km, while according to others - 6 thousand km. The straight line has a length of 2450 km. True, it should be remembered that the wall is not a direct structure - it turns, then bends. The average height of the wall is 6-7 m, with individual places of 10 m. Its width is 6 m, i.e. 5 people are able to walk along the wall in one row, or maybe even a small car.

Iguazu

Amazing, with amazingly beautiful landscapes, Argentina annually attracts crowds of travelers and tourists from every corner of the planet Earth. The country is very picturesque, while its virgin nature is protected by 29 National Parks.

And in the midst of this splendor, like a pearl of the first importance, the Iguazu National Park grows. The natural miracle is represented by 3 protected areas - “Talampaya” together with “Ischigualasto” in Kunyo, “Los Glaciares” in the south in Patagonia and “Iguazu”, which are on the UNESCO heritage list.

No doubt it's a global asset. Iguazu is surrounded by a subtropical rainforest and formed in the northern part of Misiones, a province of Argentina. 3 rivers flow along it - Iguazu, Uruguay and Parana, which form the natural borders of the province. This interfluve is called the Argentine Mesopotamia.

The most beautiful places in the world, video version

In conclusion, I would like to note that today, due to the destructive and sometimes barbaric attitude on the part of mankind, many wonders of nature can completely disappear. Therefore, today it is necessary to make every effort to preserve them for future generations.

Our blue planet is unique. Truly unique things were born by nature, and amazing sights were created by atmospheric phenomena and the elements (winds, streams of water). There are all kinds of lists and ratings, which list the most beautiful places in the world. Watch, read and enjoy our top of the most amazing wonders!

Arizona wave

A striking formation of sandstone Navajo in the form of a mountain is located in the United States, on the border of two states - Arizona and Utah. The unique creation is about 190 years old. Wavy lines have been born for centuries through the application of individual layers. Wind and other atmospheric phenomena completed the incredible landscape.

Getting into the Wave is not so easy. The owner limits the number of visits to 20 per day, because sandstone is a very fragile material and crowds of tourists trample it in a day.

To become one of those lucky ones who will be able to see it personally, you need to take part in the lottery. The first ten visitors are played out 4 months before the tour, the second ten - the day before the visit. By the way, Australia has its own “wave” - a similar creation, but consisting of granite.

Beach with caves near the Algarve (Portugal)

Sea grottoes on Praia da Rocha near the Portuguese city were born naturally. Wind and surging waves honed the rocks, creating grandiose sculptures, grottoes, caves and curly pillars.

Plots where rice is grown in Guangxi Province (China) are like a masterpiece of landscape design or painted batik. In fact, these lines and colors carry deep oriental wisdom. They began to be built during the Yuan Dynasty in the 13th century. Visiting rice terraces from special viewing platforms, a ticket for which costs about 250 rubles. on Russian money (50 yuan).
Terraces are planned wisely and weather-sensitive. Each step is irrigated in the required amount and is illuminated by the sun in such doses as necessary. This complex ecosystem provides itself: in spring, spring water flows from the mountains, saturated with microelements, and qualitatively irrigates the terraces. This gives the earth strength all summer. At this time, water-flooded areas under the rays of the sun become like sparkling wriggling ribbons.

Enchanting, well-proportioned forest is located in the west of the Japanese city of Kyoto. Tens of thousands of slender bamboo masts sway slightly in the wind, touching smooth trunks and ringing thinly. This place is located next to the famous Zen Buddhist temple Tenryu-ji.
Visitors say that the melodic chime of bamboo trunks has a calming effect on a person and promotes spiritual enlightenment. The Japanese government introduced the sounds of thin stems into the main attractions of their country.

Island of happiness - Socotra

This is how the name of one of the most amazing islands of the Indian Ocean is translated. Socotra lies in the northwestern part of the ocean in the state of Yemen. Due to its isolation, rare species of flora and fauna that are not found anywhere else have survived and live on it. On a small territory - 143 km long and 40 wide - amazing things fit. Stone peaked ridges are adjacent to snow-white beaches, and desert plains - to oases of generous and lush greenery. Here the futuristic landscape is painted with flowers of an unprecedented riot of colors, and the thick baobabs stand like silent guards.
90% of reptiles, as well as mollusks and a third of plants are endemic, that is, species that are found only on this island. On Socotra, 800 species of various plants grow. Scientists are inclined to believe that most of them trace their lineage from the ancient flora, which disappeared forever in ancient centuries. These include:

 • Cucumber tree;
 • Dragon tree, in which, according to legend, the blood of ancient dragons flows;
 • Dorstenia is giant;
 • Desert Rose (similar to a bloated elephant foot with a delicate flower on the top of the head).

Chocolate Hills of Bohol Island (Philippines)

People go there to marvel at the natural formation - round, almost identical hills, of which 1268 are located on an area of 50 km². How these hills came about is not known for certain, the most plausible version is that these coral colonies bulged out due to some geological processes under the island.

The hills at the time of autumn decay of grass on them take an extremely pleasant look of truffle sweets, and in the summer they turn bright green under the Philippine sun.

Only on this island live the smallest monkeys in the world - pretty, like toys, tarsiers (below in the photo). Their growth is smaller than the palm of a person.

The resulting chamber bay with a beach under the roof is a very cozy place. The water in the lake is saturated blue. A waterfall rustles on the side.

The angle of the river has changed, the flow has accelerated, and the water began to erode the soil in its path. The Grand Canyon is the most famous in the world, immortalized in dozens of American films.

Pamukkale (Turkey)

Pamukkale in translation from Turkish sounds like a "cotton castle". This name was given by the locals to an unusual plateau located in the very center of the country. In fact, these are terraces made of travertine - a polycrystalline rock. For centuries, thermal springs were created by streams of mineralized water, which, flowing down the slopes, did not have time to reach the bottom of the mountain and evaporated under the hot rays.

Li River (China)

In general, this Asian country is full of all beauty, which is why it appears in several positions of our top 20. This time we want to show full of romanticism and gentleness, the Chinese Lijiang River - a muse of poets and artists.

Why did the Incas need to build their city so high in the mountains? This we will never know, it remains only to roam the old mossy stones and build guesses.

One way or another, the lost and mysterious city of Machu Picchu closes the rating “The most beautiful places on earth” - the best twenty.

We suggest watching a video that also shows places that are not on the list. Is it possible to list all the unique corners of the planet? After all, she is beautiful all!

It is impossible to choose the best place on Earth, since in every part of the world, in every country, there is something to see, something to penetrate. But every tourist and person who loves to travel and is looking for inspiration must visit those ten places that will be presented below. Photos will never be able to convey that unimaginable beauty that holds each of these places.

The tenth place is occupied by unusual colored rocks, which are located in China, Gansu province. UNESCO World Heritage has brought this natural wonder under its protection, as the amazing cliffs look like they were written by Pablo Picasso. The rock, consisting of colored sandstones and conglomerates of the Mesozoic era, looks impressive, especially against the background of the grayness of large cities that are located near the province. Artists come here in order to draw inspiration, and ordinary people travel to see the unusual phenomenon with their own eyes.

Ninth place is occupied by twin twin waterfalls in Talbot Bay, Australia. The mainland itself boasts a large number of places that in fact seem to be natural wonders untouched by man. But those who are looking for thrills and do not have a soul in extreme sports are simply obliged to visit unusual waterfalls. Their horizontal course is due to the fact that a huge stream of water sweeps through the mountain range and gorges with great speed, creating a temporary waterfall. Daredevils, perhaps, will well appreciate such a dangerous journey through the bubbling streams of water and will be able to enjoy the beauty of an unusual phenomenon.

The eighth place in the TOP is occupied by one of the largest caves on the planet - Hang Son Dong, which is located in Vietnam. This miracle of nature is so magnificent that, even looking at the photo, you get a feeling of how small people are, after all, the height of the cave is 240 meters and the width is almost one kilometer. On such a vast territory, you can place an entire airport with several aircraft. But to describe this miracle of nature is useless, because you need to see such a creation of nature yourself.

On the seventh line of our charts was Erebus volcano. For mankind, volcanoes carry a danger, but this does not make them less improbable and surprising. Many risk their lives in order to make a couple of shots of active and sleeping volcanoes on our planet. People are used to the fact that volcanoes look standard: a green foot and a snow cap. But the Erebus volcano is an exception to all the rules, as it is a block of ice on the coldest continent of the Earth - Antarctica. Yes, getting to it is quite difficult, because expeditions to the South Pole are not so frequent, but at any opportunity it is worth visiting this natural wonder. Ice caps peeking out from under the mountains release gas and even lava, which, amid the eternal ice and permafrost, looks amazing even in the photo.

The sixth position is rightfully occupied by flower valleys in India. For the fair sex, plantations of various colors listed in the Red Book will be the best gift. But the stronger sex will not be left without impressions, because the beauty of this heavenly place on planet Earth is fascinating. When you find yourself in a flower valley, you get the feeling that this place is completely untouched by man.

The most beautiful places on the planet: the five leaders

The fifth position among the most unusual places is occupied by Plitvice Lakesthat are in Croatia. The crystal clear water flowing along the green slopes is mesmerizing. The flowers of India are undoubtedly beautiful, but as it was once said: "You can look at three things: a working person, fire and water." Everyone can draw inspiration, plunge into the clear water of the lakes and just see the virgin nature with their own eyes. Blue waters can be compared with the lagoons of the Pacific Ocean in their beauty.

The fourth place rightfully belongs to the reed flute cave in China. It was Asia that always attracted travelers because of unusual structures and beauty that you will not find in other parts of the world. China is full of mysteries, and the reed flute cave is evidence of this. Those who have been there declare spiritual cleansing and complete relaxation, which cannot be obtained anywhere else on Earth.

Chocolate hills in the Philippines are in third place TOP. They were named so not because of cocoa beans, but because these hills resemble truffle sweets. Sweet tooth doesn’t appreciate such a “tasty” place. But in fact, the basis of the hills is one of the varieties of limestone, which in the summer gives the hills such a shade.

The penultimate, second place in the hit parade of the beautiful corners of our planet is Pink Lake, which is located in West Africa. This name was given to the reservoir for a reason: its color at any time of the year is bright pink. The salinity of the water in this lake is several times greater than in the Dead Sea, and among its inhabitants there is only one single bacterium that gives the pond such an unusual color. The aerial view of the lake looks impressive, because around it are the African jungle and the deep ocean.

And the leader closing TOP-10 is the Uyuni solonchak in Bolivia. It would seem that what could be unusual in salt deposits? That's right - nothing. But only until during the rainy season these amazing places are not flooded. The salt marsh turns into a mirror surface in which the whole world is reflected. At this time, Uyuni attracts tourists who take extraordinary pictures.
