Visa to philippines for citizens of Russia. Philippines visa regime: entry, visa-free stay, visa extension (procedure, terms, cost), departure, personal experience Getting a visa at the Embassy

If you are going to the Philippines, then there are three options for which city to see first. You can fly to Manila, Angeles (Clark) or Cebu. Each has its own advantages. Clark is the cheapest and well located. From Cebu Airport you can walk to paradise beach with your suitcases. But I chose Manila because I was going to buy a motorcycle for my trip to the “12 Islands” and naively thought that it would be easiest to do this in the capital of the country.

This is the first post about motorcycling in the Philippines, in which I will tell you about how a simple Russian guy Sasha came to the Philippines and what happened to him during the first days of his stay in this country. You will also learn the whole truth about the crazy city of Manila.

I flew from St. Petersburg on November 17, 2013. The cheapest and fastest way to reach the Philippines is via Hong Kong. Given that this supercity is visa-free for Russians, it would be a sin there will not stop there for several days, which I did. Hong Kong turned out to be so incredible that for the first time in my life I seriously thought about moving for a long time. Talk for a long time, so I plan to write a separate post about him with enthusiasm and colorful photos.

After three wonderful days in Hong Kong, I drove to the airport, went to the check-in desk and happily handed the girl with the Philippines Air badge my passport and ticket printout.

Your return ticket, sir! she said, smiling sweetly.

Why do I need to show a return ticket? I asked and began to frantically think what to answer, since I didn’t have a return ticket

This is a requirement of the immigration service. Without it, we cannot put you on a plane.

Eeeeeee ... You know, I don’t remember where he is.

No problem sir! What is your last name and departure date? I will check the database.

I don’t remember the date \\ This is not mine \\ Call my lawyer \\ Well, please!

Unfortunately, there is no way without a ticket. If you do not have it, then you can buy it now at our counter. It’s not possible through the Internet because sites do not confirm the purchase immediately, and the flight of your plane takes about an hour. At our counter, confirmation takes place immediately, but since you buy a ticket at the airport, it will cost at the maximum rate.

There weren’t much options. I had to buy a ticket from Hong Kong to Manila for 400 bucks! By the way, the flight from St. Petersburg to Hong Kong was cheaper. But the ticket was returnable and in Manila I was able to return it, although for this I had to suffer a couple of days. At first they said that we needed another return ticket, and when I bought it for 50 bucks, they said that it was not needed. As a result, after 15 days they returned the full cost to the card and did not even take any commission. But the situation at the airport was certainly nervous.

Therefore, advice number 1. If you fly to the Philippines, always buy a return ticket!

On the plane, I came to my senses from a charming view behind the porthole. Flying through the South China Sea is very beautiful! You notice right away that there are many different clouds everywhere. This is one of the main properties of the Philippines, which guarantees unique sunsets.

The clouds look like a pattern that complements an equally endless sea, the tranquility of which is broken by smoothly sailing ships. And next to the island of Luzon - millions of small boats of the "bank". It takes only an hour and a half to fly, and to be honest, I want to fly on, continuing to look at natural pictures.

Another surprise awaited me at Manila Airport. There was no cash and I naturally went to withdraw money to an ATM. It turned out that for unknown reasons, some local banks do not serve my card (Visa Alfa-Bank). At that moment I was confused when I realized how much I depend on the card. I am in a new country and I do not even have money to drink coffee. Fortunately, at the other end of the airport was a friendly ATM that gave me money. So for the first time I got pesos.

The first taxi driver traditionally tried to separate me. At first he said that 10 pesos per kilometer, and when we went, he said that 100 or a fixed price of 1,500 rubles. But with me such things do not work. If you have traveled to India for 10 months of your life, then you get a scent and a sophisticated technology to destroy fraud in the bud for divorces. I quickly said everything that I think about the driver and he returned me to the report point. A road with another carrier cost about 400 rubles. Moreover, airport drivers and even cops vied with each other saying that it is better not to get into ordinary city taxis because no one is responsible for your safety there.

Before leaving, I read stories about local dangers. If you believe what they write on the Internet and speak on TV, the Philippines is a country where everyone goes with guns, rob and kill until they are all washed away by a typhoon or an earthquake. “There are cannibals in the north and terrorists in the south,” a person who has official relations with the Philippines once told me. What can we say about Manila! It’s generally better not to go outside and not talk to anyone, because in the capital the concentration of all the bad reaches its maximum and every Filipino he meets sharpen a huge knife behind his back.

I understood that all these were tales, but there were so many that I gradually began to believe. Therefore, upon arrival, I hung locks on my backpack, took a menacing look and began to walk quickly, looking around. This is generally a great recipe. Everyone sees that you are acting like a fool, and prefer to bypass you.

Then I became convinced that all that was said was nonsense. The locals are wonderful hospitable and kind people who are always ready to help you. But many understand these stereotypes in the head of a foreigner and skillfully use them. Taxi drivers talk about the dangers of travel with strangers, in hotels they say that their guard with a shotgun will protect against all troubles, and in a tourist restaurant there is always a man with a proudly hanging gun. All safe, dont worry, diar sir! Thus, you can sell excessive security, to which there is a request from foreign tourists.

About Manila does not need to talk for a long time. This is a multi-million city agglomeration, which consists of different cities. Manila itself is a small part of it. There are several dozens of different areas that consider themselves separate cities: Makati, Pasay, Ermita, Valenzuela, Quezon, Pasig, Tagig, Paranyak, etc. If you really want to figure this out, then San Miguel is definitely not without beer.

The general opinion about Manila is that it is a terrible city. Mostly tourists use it as a transit point between their country and a beautiful beach and often spit, remembering the capital of the Philippines. But there are those who like Manila. I am more related to the first.

Manila is absolutely nothing. There is a Makati skyscraper district with beautiful avenues, but after Hong Kong they seem to be the most curious. There is a fake restored Spanish fortress. And everything else is a typical low-rise Philippine building, which is interspersed with huge shopping centers and large highways. The city’s emblem should show traffic jams and street food. Most of the time, motorists stand dead, and passers-by constantly eat something.

The first thing that catches your eye is a unique public transport: jeepneys and traysicles. Jeepney is an example of how Filipinos terribly liked the military American Jeep Wrangler. Since at that time there was no cooler car on these islands, local mechanics began to copy the design of the jeep, but to make cars tailored for passenger transportation.

So it turned out incredible minibuses, without which it is difficult to imagine modern Philippines. Each driver decorates his jeepney in his own way. Everyone is trying to stand out, and therefore clumsy works of art rumble around the city and villages, drowning passersby with black solar smoke.

Traicicles are a Filipino version of a motor rickshaw. For some reason, they chose the option of a motorcycle with a covered stroller.

Trays are everywhere. This is the national type of individual transport because it is cheap and if you pull in your stomachs, it can fit 10 people. Each region has its own unique design of travel cycles and you can study the culture of different Philippine peoples from them.

Thus, for the first time in Manila, your eyes are most attracted to jeepneys and traysikles. The rest is uninteresting.

I am deeply convinced that Manila in tourism terms is intended only for masochistic tourists. If you want to spend time in this mediocre city and understand that you are close to the white beaches, incredible mountains, volcanoes and lakes, then you will undoubtedly harm yourself. True, there is one exception. You should go to Manila if you have been sitting on a remote beach for a month and have missed civilization. There you can sit in Starbucks, shop and taste the fast food.

But I’m not saying this because something really ruined my impression. I didn’t particularly go to the sights, but I did business. Maybe that's why I got this opinion. But on the other hand, a more independent assessment of this city was obtained. It’s really boring there.

Manila has a strange property. There in the morning you do not succeed and all plans collapse, and in the evening everything is favorably resolved and the plans return to normal. For three days, every morning was nervous and incomprehensible, but by evening I was quietly drinking coffee with a sense of accomplishment. In India, if it doesn’t work out, then nothing will change until you understand what you’re doing wrong. But here it all depends on the time of day.

On the evening of the last day in Manila, I accidentally met at my hotel a company of Filipinos who turned out to be great guys, gave me important contacts in different cities and told about interesting places on the route. This was the first meeting, of which there will be many in this country. I did the right thing, which roughly made up the travel route. He will be constantly ruled by chance encounters.

In the next post I will talk in detail about the long purchase of a motorcycle, which I did after all not in Manila.

If you decide to spend a fabulous vacation on, then for Russian citizens the first 30 days you can stay in the country without a visa. Upon arrival, you just get a stamp in your passport for 30 days. It is very convenient no more than this period. If you want to stay in the country for more than a month, then read on what will need to be done for this.

Stay in the Philippines without a visa for 30 days in 2017

To obtain permission to stay in the Philippines in 2017, it is enough to go through the passport control at the airport upon arrival, where you will be given a free stamp for 30 days. However, it is worth remembering that for this you must comply with the following conditions, so you will need:

  • International passport, which is valid for another 6 months after leaving the Philippines, i.e. if you have a trip for a month, then the passport must be at least 7 months before its end, but of course you can hope for luck and think that you’ll be lucky, but you don’t have to do it once. In the article: "" - you’ll see that it’s easier to get a passport than with a stupid look and then standing at a foreign airport
  • Return tickets to Russia or if you move on, then to another country. Be sure to print the return tickets before the trip, if they are electronic. Without it, they might not even be allowed on a plane. I recommend reading the article: “” - finding the most advantageous offers, you can travel much more interesting
  • Confirmation of financial condition (unlikely). They may also ask if you have enough money to live in their country.

They will put a stamp on your passport upon arrival, but you can still go and renew it for up to 59 days immediately at the airport (this can be done only in the afternoon) or only then contact any immigration office. And then you can renew your visa once every two months to about 16 months without leaving the country (they say that you can extend it up to 24 months, but they have not yet checked how I find out the information, then I’ll write it).

Visa for 3.6 months or 1 year in the Philippines at the Consular Section of the Philippines in 2017

If a long-term train to the Philippines is planned and it will last more than 30 days, then it will be more profitable for the Russians (both in time and money - it will be cheaper than on the spot) will make a visa in advance at the Consular Section of the Philippines in your city.

What types of visas to the Philippines exist:

  • 3 monthsthis visa can be obtained only with a single entry. Those. if you entered it in the Philippines and want to leave before it ends, then it ceases to function from the moment you leave. Consular fee for such a visa is 40 $ USD
  • 6 months - multiple entry visa, i.e. You can enter and leave several times. Consular fee for such a visa is 80 $ USD
  • 1 year - only for it requires mandatory prior permission from DFA Manila - consular fee for her 120 $ USD

Documents required for a visa to the Philippines:

  1. It is necessary to fill out a questionnaire for submission to the Consulate - the questionnaire will be issued there, on the spot.
  2. A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country, and I advise you to make a copy of the first page of the passport, where the photo is.
  3. Two color photographs measuring 4.5x3.5 cm
  4. On a tourist trip, they may require a hotel reservation, or if there is an invitation from the person who is waiting for you there (physical or legal). You can, of course, try to come without a hotel reservation (or invitation), maybe they will pass and issue a visa, or they may refuse a visa, and in this case no one will return money for the consular fee. In the article: "" - you can read about how to find the most profitable housing
  5. Round-trip tickets to the Philippines (well, or tickets to another country, if you plan to travel further, be sure to have a final date), which you can book right now, using the search form for the affiliate program at the bottom of the article (and it’s cheaper for you and “thank you” to me)
  6. Of course you need a consular visa fee, about $ 40.
  7. Insurance is also not required to obtain a visa, but the Russian authorities have passed a law in 2015 that every Russian traveling abroad should have it with him. And it’s better to pay a small amount when buying an insurance pole at home, rather than pay tens of thousands on the spot, if God forbid something happened on vacation, read about insurance and buy an insurance pole online through a resource we checked:

It is important to know that this visa is valid from the moment of receipt for 3 months, i.e. do not get it at all in advance, you need to receive it immediately before the trip for some insignificant time.

Philippine visa extension in 2017

Whatever visa you have (or indeed you have not - I'm talking about a 30-day stay without a visa), you can extend your visa at any Immigration office.

You can find the Immigration office at this link: http: //immigration.gov.ph/index.php/information/directory-of-transactions

Apply for a visa extension (or stamp) is necessary when less than 30 days are left. A visa is made quickly in 15-20 minutes. You need to take with you: a passport, copies of the first page with a photograph and copies of pages where there are stamps of the Philippines, write down the address of the hotel or home where you live, and you can still capture photos (4.5x3.5 cm) because you need a photo for registration ID-CARD.

If your stay in the country of the Philippines is planned for more than 59 days, then, along with the subsequent extension of the visa, you will be given a personal card with your data and photo (ID-CARD), for that you need a photo.

To get an ID-Card, pay 50 USD + 500 PHP and you still need to fill out an application for it. The card itself is issued in Manila, so you will not receive it immediately.

Renewal terms

  1. Arrived - put a stamp for 30 days - free of charge, without a visa.
  2. If you want to extend this stamp up to 59 days, then we go to one of the Immigration offices and do it (there is an office at the airport - it works during the day).
  3. If you want to stay for more than 59 days, then we go ahead and extend it for another 59 days (plus we get a card with our data and photos) and so on up to 16 months (i.e. every next two months), the only question is price.

Issue price

  • if there was a visa-free stamp for 30 days, then it can be extended up to 59 days in the country for approximately 2500-3000 pesos
  • extension of the visa (which was 59 days) for the next 59 days - about 4800-5000 pesos (and somewhere else 500-600 pesos per card)
  • And then subsequent renewals - here the price already varies from 3000-4250, everyone has different things, only after 8 months it stabilizes by about 2900 pesos.

Departure from the country

A post about what I don’t like the most, and about something that you won’t go anywhere without. Visa. How much for me in this word. I can tell a great many horror stories on this subject. But I won’t. Otherwise, all desire to travel outside one’s country will disappear.

Since this section is about the Philippines, I will talk about the Philippine visa. And if you need help planning your trip to the Philippines,.

So, for citizens of the Russian Federation entering the Philippines for a period of 21 days, a visa is not needed. Only at the border you need to show return tickets. But, as practice shows, there are special cases where return tickets may not be asked. As it was with me. At my home airport, I was registered immediately for a flight to Hong Kong and Manila.

By the logic of things, since in my city they immediately registered me to Manila, they should have asked a return ticket from the Philippines there. But those responsible for this are representatives of another company, the one I flew from Hong Kong to Manila, respectively, in which case they will be asked. Therefore, they simply registered me in my city without asking anything.

Another option, if you have already been to the Philippines and have a residency card, you can simply show it. Itself did not check, but found out - it works.

In any case, I am for everything to be done according to the rules. Therefore, if you do not want to run around with your device, urgently looking for wi-fi to book and pay with a card for a return ticket, and present it at the reception, it is better to take care of this in advance. Want to stay, say, for 2 months? Please take a return ticket after 2 months and renew your visa on the spot.

If you are a tourist, still check everything you need to enter or obtain a visa in a particular country. Yes, I understand that you are paying money to an agent so that he takes care of everything. But far from always this very agent turns out to be sufficiently competent in one direction or another (for objective and subjective reasons). Just search for official information online. I emphasize - official, i.e. information on the websites of embassies, consulates and visa centers. If something is embarrassing, ask your agent a question. If you are lucky with him, then he will do everything to clarify the situation. Because, with 100 percent certainty, I can tell you that no manager then needs to listen to the objective claims of dissatisfied tourists, explain himself to his superiors and pay fines from his already small salary. The main thing is without nerves. We are all human and it is simply impossible to know everything. In the section on Denmark I will give my own example on this topic.

But back to the Philippines

So, if 21 days in the Philippines were not enough for you, and you wanted to stay longer, you will need to contact the immigration service for an extension. Extend for 38 days. To do this, you just need to bring a photograph and copies of the passport page with a photograph and pages marked with Filipino services. And, of course, a certain amount.

When I paid, this service cost about 3,500 pesos. A lot, right? And if 59 days in the Philippines seemed not enough for you, then get ready to pay even more - about 8000 pesos, and this, consider, 200 dollars.

I explain why so many. If you decide to stay after 59 days, then you already need to apply for a residency card, the so-called ID, which I wrote about above, and which does not give you anything, but for which you need to pay about 3,500 pesos. Well, the extension itself. You can extend it for a month for more than 3,000 pesos, or you can extend it for 2 months for 3,500 with copecks, or rather, santims. As you can see, renewing for 2 months is more profitable.

By the way, more about ID. Don't even hope to get it in the promised 3 weeks. You can rejoice, if at all, to receive it. This is a classic of the Philippine genre, so you can not even get nervous about this. Take an example from the Filipinos.

For "long-livers"

If you decide to stay on the 5th and / or 6th month, you need to pay for the extension about the same as for the 3rd and 4th. Only already without ID. Those. 3000 or 3500 (inaccurate amounts). After 6 months, you still have to leave. You can also in Thailand for 1 day, and then return and repeat everything in a new way. Or you can stay, but before leaving the country you will need to make the so-called Clearance - a paper confirming that you have not done anything wrong in the Philippines, and you can be released from the country. Such paper is also made in the immigration service and costs about 500 pesos. Production terms in different places in the Philippines are different - from a couple of minutes to a month.

A few words about corruption

I will also give a personal example that clearly shows how everything works in the Philippines. I worked for 4 months and for some reason decided to leave. I worked on a tourist visa, but with a working permit. The work permit was over and I left. Just the visa was ending. There was no reason to leave the Philippines before the planned time, as housing was already paid for 6 months and tickets were bought for May, i.e. I would have lost more money than I earned. I decided to stay on the island, but I had to extend the tourist visa.

I come to the immigration service, and the officer replies to my request that he cannot renew my visa without the consent of my boss, already a former. Just think about it: they do not want to extend my tourist visa without the permission of my former boss, despite the fact that my work permit has ended in any case. Then my former boss, with a smile on his face, explained to me that there was no such rule (and this is basically illogical), it’s just a small island, everyone knows each other. Suddenly, we badly parted with my boss, and he doesn’t want to see me on the island anymore, and the officer will take me and extend the visa, how he will later make excuses. Here it is the Philippine system of work. Even in government. Or, it would be more correct to say, especially in the authorities.

The Philippines is one of the most attractive countries in Southeast Asia, thanks to its stunning beaches, natural landscapes, smiling and carefree people and ... visa policy. The main advantage of the Philippines is that the opportunity is here without leaving for up to three years.

Visa to the Philippines for Russian citizens

To visit the Philippines for up to 30 days, citizens of the Russian Federation do not need a visa.

Examples:

A. If you arrive on April 1 (30 days in a month) and fly on May 1, then you do not need a visa. When you arrive, you just get a stamp in your passport, and another stamp when you fly from the Philippines.

B. If you arrive on April 1st (30 days in a month), and depart on May 2nd, then you need a visa.

B. If you arrive on April 1 (30 days in a month), and leave on May 2 early in the morning and plan to pass passport control on May 1, then you do not need a visa. To the border guards from passport control, by and large, it makes no difference when you fly, they look at the information on the day of crossing the border. Although, most likely, you should officially depart exactly 30 days after arrival.

Important! To visit the Philippines, a return ticket or a ticket to any other third country is required! Officially for the period until the end of the visa, and in the case of visa-free entry for up to 30 days. However, in fact, even with a visa-free entry, you can have a ticket from the Philippines in six months or a year.

As a rule, a ticket is requested at the airline's front desk. That is, you can’t fly to the Philippines without having a return ticket or a ticket to a third country. At all airports in the Philippines, it is enough to present an electronic ticket on your smartphone, rather than making a paper printout of it. This also applies to the return ticket. However, it is officially stated that a paper copy of the ticket is required.

If for one reason or another you do not receive permission to enter the Philippines, you will be required to take a ticket to your country of residence at your own expense.

Visa to the Philippines for citizens of Ukraine and Belarus

Citizens of Ukraine and Belarus should obtain a visa in advance at the consulates of the Philippines in their countries.

Visa to the Philippines at the Moscow Consulate

Registration of a tourist visa at the consulate in Moscow is the most inefficient way, as it requires additional documents that are not needed with other methods of obtaining a Philippine visa. For example, confirmed hotel reservations. A visa issued at the consulate does not give any preferences; the last word to let people in or out of the country always remains with the border officers. And the presence of a visa does not exempt from paying the extension of stay directly in the country.

Visa to Philippines upon arrival

At the airport of Manila or Cebu, it was previously possible to arrange a stay in the country immediately for 59 days immediately before passport control. However, recently this service is not available at Manila Airport - officials send tourists to local immigration centers.

The cost of a 59-day stay in the country when paying at the airport of arrival is 2750 pesos. In immigration centers - 3150 pesos.

Visa to the Philippines on the spot

You can extend your stay in the Philippines at the Bureau of Immigration any time before your 30-day stay in the country (recommended one week in advance). Immigration offices are located in any major city in the Philippines. The procedure takes 15-30 minutes. You only need to have a passport and a completed application form (issued on the spot).

To extend a visa it is not necessary to come to the office yourself - you can be entrusted with a special representative (notarized) or intermediaries from local travel agencies that provide such services.

Estimated cost of extending a visa to the Philippines at an immigration center:

3150-3650 peso - for 59 days (including 30 days of a visa-free stay). This first extension is always done only for up to 59 days. Cannot be done for a longer period.

8300 peso (including tourist ID card) - “Second Renewal” for 60 days. It can be done after you have been extended for 59 days.

13650 peso (including tourist ID-card) - “Second Renewal” for 180 days. The most preferred option for those who are going for a long time is in the Philippines. This is a fairly new opportunity, previously it was possible to renew each time only for a maximum of two months.

The second extension includes the mandatory receipt of a tourist ID-card. This is a special laminated card, an internal document in the Philippines. Its cost for a year is slightly less than 5000 pesos, which are included at a time in the price of the second extension. All subsequent renewals will cost about 2500 pesos per month, 3600 pesos for two months or 11500 for six months.

Philippine Visa Extension

Citizens of Russia can officially renew a visa to the Philippines for up to three years (there are cases of refusal to renew after two years). Citizens of Ukraine and Belarus - up to two years. Moreover, the maximum possible one-time extension may be for a period of not more than 6 months.

When leaving the Philippines

All stamps and visas when leaving the Philippines are reset. In fact, you can not extend the visa to the Philippines, each time before the expiration of the free month traveling to neighboring countries on Visa Run.

Tourist ID-card is valid all year, regardless of whether you have left the Philippines or not.

Departure from the Philippines in more than six months

For those who have been in the Philippines for more than six months, before leaving, they need to receive a special document - Special Travel Exit. It is obtained at the same immigration office and costs 500 pesos. However, it is also required to provide two 2x2 photographs on a white background. Special Travel Exit production times may vary from place to place. Sometimes it takes only about an hour in large cities or a week in provincial ones. The presence of such a document when leaving the country is mandatory only for those who have been in the Philippines for 6 months or more!

Philippines Visa Violation

Violation of the visa regime is punishable by fines, depending on the time spent in the country. Without paying a fine, you can leave the Philippines with black list - Ban on visiting the Philippines for 5 years.

If a foreigner lives in the Philippines without a proper visa extension, then anyone who informs him will receive a reward of 20,000 pesos (approximately $ 400).

If you cannot buy a ticket, you will be placed in a special institution (prison?) And wait for forced deportation (it may take about six months).

Vitaly Safronov, specially forwebsite

A unique state located on the Malay archipelago and includes more than seven thousand islands. Russians most often visit the islands of Boracay, Bohol, Cebu and, of course, the main "gate" to the country - Manila, located on the island of Luzon.

For tourists, a simplified visa regime applies.

We hasten to please the Russians who plan to spend on the islands up to 30 days: a visa to the Philippines will not be needed. Only a passport with a validity period of at least six months from the date of entry into the country is required.

For example, if you come to the Philippines in February 2020, and your passport is valid until June 2020, then you may not be allowed to go to paradise islands for this reason and your vacation will not take place.

The period of visa-free stay for Russians in the Philippines is 30 days in 2020. At the same time, the day of arrival in the country is not included in 30 days, the countdown starts from the next day. So, if you arrive early in the morning, in fact you have the right to live without a visa on a stamp even 31 days.

How to apply for a visa for 59 days

If you want to go to the Philippines for a long term, you can pre-apply for a long-term visa for 59 days (almost 2 months). For Russians, it is possible to address this issue to the Philippine Embassy in Moscow.

In addition, you can get a Filipino visa at the consulates general, which are located in St. Petersburg and Vladivostok.

It is very important to comply with the requirements for photographs for obtaining a visa to the Philippines:

  1. Size: 30x40 millimeters.
  2. No traces of pixelation and photoshop.
  3. Lack of hats or sunglasses. Glasses are only allowed for vision correction, but it should be borne in mind that the lenses should not create glare, and the frame can not cover some parts of the face. Deadlines

All visas are made in Russia for quite a long time - from one week to 10 days. Therefore, paperwork is better not to put off at the last moment.

Stamp and visa renewal

In the Philippines, ideal conditions are created for those who want to stay in the tropical paradise for as long as possible. Having already arrived at the airport, you can immediately issue another, longer visa-free stamp for 59 days instead of the usual stamp for 30 days. The price of the issue is 75 US dollars.

Any tourist visa can be extended in the Philippines at immigration offices. There are several important points here:

Each traveler from any CIS country can extend his tourist visa. Each renewal is given for 59 days. With these small formal procedures you can stay in the Philippines for up to 16 months.

Certificate for leaving the country

If the holidays in the Philippines last for more than 6 consecutive months, then the traveler will need to draw up another document - Special Travel Exit Clearance (Special Travel Authorization for Travelers). Regrettably, without this document you simply will not be released from the country: either they will force you to draw up or they will be fined.

Therefore, you will have to pay about $ 12 for registration and prepare several documents:

  • Photocopies of the “foreigner”: page with photos, as well as pages with all Philippine stamps and visas;
  • ID issued earlier (enough copy);
  • Receipt of payment of the fee for the latest visa extension;
  • Photo (color or black and white) 3 × 4 centimeters.
