We vacationed with our parents from September 8 to 18. I will write a review based on and taking into account the many reviews I have read previously. We arrived at the hotel at 9:30 and checked into our room earlier than usual, at 12:00. Moreover, a request at the reception was enough for this; I gave a tip later. The room was a family room. 3rd floor, room 2318. View from the balcony to the wall of the neighboring building. It didn’t bother us because there was less noise. Who needs a view of the pool, or something else, then don’t take 2318 🙂. There are no questions about the cleanliness of the room, everything is fine, but the dust is not wiped off (although this may only be in our case). I was surprised that there was only one TV in the family room, and it was small. Again, it’s not really needed, but here’s a detail. Safe $2.5 per day. We didn't take it. Wi-Fi is free only in the lobby. If you want to go to your room, you have to pay. For 10 days I paid 11.5 €. The pool is medium in size, there are always places on sun loungers. Kitchen... There is a lot of food, but everything is monotonous. There are few desserts. Fruits included delicious watermelons, dried apricots, peaches, grapes, apples, pears, and plums. Melon is not tasty. For breakfast, eggs, in all forms, cheeses, yoghurts, with goat's milk..., pancakes, jams..., well, as usual... Lunch and dinner. Lots of vegetables, salads, unique ones, pasta, French fries, mashed potatoes, baked, stewed vegetables with meat, without meat, etc., etc.. Grilled beef, but the emphasis is mainly on chicken. Some kind of nuggets, onion rings... In short, you’ll find a piece of McDonald’s here too🙂. They wrote here before with delight that they even serve tuna... Well, yes, they do... But you can’t cook tuna that way. Open our canned food - it tastes better. Animation. There is nothing to do there with children. Vacationers 50+. Mostly Germans. Of these, 70 percent are our emigrants who left for Germany 20 years ago. Beach. The road to the beach is 500 meters. A very steep descent, and, accordingly, then an equally steep ascent. Again, with small children, it’s not entirely convenient. The beach is small. If you haven’t taken a seat before 10 am, then it’s problematic. The beach is clean. The sea is shallow. The depth is about 50 meters. That seems to be it... He described minor shortcomings that if you don’t pay attention to, you can rest. And so, this, of course, is not 5*. Solid four. By the way, this hotel is positioned for Germans as 4*. Relatively inexpensive, that's probably what it takes. Think, decide... Summary. Not bad, inexpensive holiday, for the picky people. But this is not the hotel you want to return to.

vacationed from June 1 to June 12, 2019 the hotel is good, the food is excellent, located on the second line, 500-700 meters to the sea. the hotel is clean. the staff is polite and attentive. room cleaning every day. The food is varied, you can eat something at the hotel all day long. At 2 o'clock ice cream is served by the pool. The cafe on the beach has a modest selection, but you won’t go hungry. The entrance to the sea is ideal for children, there are enough sun loungers for everyone. cons: practically no animation, disco. definitely not for young people. the hotel is 4+, and the main contingent is pensioners over 60. Well, there are a lot of pensioners with crutches. there was a feeling that we were in a German-Turkish sanatorium ((((((((

The hotel is good! I liked the attitude, the room, the food, just super! To the sea 5-7 minutes walk to your sandy beach, where there is a restaurant. Among the animations, I liked the Turkish night and the musical. The rest is weak. Animation 3+. In terms of price-quality ratio, it’s quite worthy! I recommend it to anyone who doesn't care about animation.

I liked everything, a solid 4 stars, we vacationed in May 2018. It’s okay to walk to the beach, and back too, while you’re walking you’ll have breakfast or lunch. I don’t recommend staying on the top floor under the monsarda, the rooms are hot and the air conditioning is weak, but we were there in May and it didn’t bother us much. Overall, rating the hotel is a solid four, as I wrote earlier

PETRUNINA MARINA

Holidays from 20-30 April 18 The hotel is not 5 stars, of course, but I flew to relax and not to make complaints, the food is excellent, tasty, varied, the flatbread with ayran on the beach is absolutely a fairy tale! Gin-Sprite-1ice is my favorite drink after homemade wine. Everything is fine, and even the +3 kg brought home did not upset me. Thanks to everyone for organizing my vacation! Safe costs 2.5 euros per day, local alcoholic drinks are free from 10-24, imported drinks are paid, cocktails from 5 €, food is everywhere and you can’t go anywhere, also from 7-24. Buy souvenirs and seasonings at the market, everything is inexpensive there compared to prices on the market, we bought our nuts with honey for $7, but there they are $4. In Side there are ruins and an amphitheater; for those who like to take a walk, take the 5 and go to the final one to Side. To Manavgat you can also take the 5, just read the signs or ask the driver. Get out in the center and start walking!!! There are tons of clothing stores! Under the bridge there are free toilets on the right, and there are bicycle rentals nearby. You can’t tell everything, you have to go and see!

I liked the hotel, everything fully corresponds to the description... Nice beach, the sea is close. Excellent food, rooms are clean, spacious, cleaned every day, lemonade drinks are also replenished daily. Shampoos, gels, body creams, cotton pads, etc. that was all too. There are many Germans who are pensioners, but there are also plenty of Russians. Discos until 2 am. We vacationed with our 11-year-old son in March 2018, everything was super)

SVETLANA

Two adults and a 1.5 year old child stayed at the hotel in June. The hotel is small. compact. Located on the 2nd coastline, this is a minus. To get to the beach you need to go around another hotel a little uphill and then go down to the beach. The beach is large, sandy, many sun loungers with mattresses, well cleaned. There is a cafe where you can have a snack (if not small child You don’t have to go to the main restaurant). The food is good, there are a lot of vegetables in different types, there is a diet table. The downside is that during the strawberry season they never served strawberries and ice cream only in the evenings, and then you have to stand in line. The room was nice, big, we asked for a crib for the child, they brought it. They cleaned up well, The only thing is that they didn’t provide hygiene products, take your own. You throw towels on the floor, they put new ones. A very big minus is that there is no provision of beach towels on the beach, you have to carry them with you, which is very inconvenient and difficult, especially if it is damp and also, if you haven’t returned the towel before 19-00, you will have to carry it stay the next day, they won’t change it in the morning. But the main thing is a good mood and the weather and the holiday was a success. In general, I would recommend the hotel to friends

SPOILED VACATION.
We rested at the hotel with my husband from 22.06 to 05.07.

We booked it ourselves on the website of the tour operator Sunmar. Very prompt booking reasonable price for 5*, regular flight without delays. We were the first to be dropped off at the hotel after the airport, and the last to be picked up upon departure. 40-50 minutes to the hotel. Apart from the sea, which we love very much, these are all the advantages of this holiday.
We arrived early, there were no hotel rooms, so we were offered a day to live in another hotel - Diamond Elite Hotel & Spa 5*, and, if we had known what would happen in Diamond Beach, we stayed at Diamond Elite.
A little about Diamond Elite Hotel & Spa 5*. Nice cozy hotel 16+, second line from the sea. Mostly German. Neat, the interior is solid 4. The number of rooms is new. We got room 3107, two rooms. The room is very cozy, quiet, calm, clean, new furniture, with closers. The only negative is that the room is very smoky.
As far as food is concerned, there are no queues, there is a wide choice, there is no fuss like in Diamond Beach, everything is calm, the waiters are friendly and you can even calmly come and get ice cream after dinner.
And now about Diamond Beach.
The interior of the hotel is richer than that of the Diamond Elite Hotel & Spa 5*. The number of rooms is poorer, the room is simpler. Since we agreed to move for a day to another hotel, we were promised good room, and the first room that was offered was on the 5th floor. Two-room, very stuffy, although overlooking the sea. We refused and asked for a quiet, cool room, which was given with a view of the courtyard with a round pool. The room is one-room, but large, 4303. Nice, calm, you can sleep at lunchtime, at night no problems at all. The furniture is not so new anymore, shabby in places, the pillows have the same name, the springs of the mattress are making themselves felt in places. They cleaned every day, if you can call it that. IN last days the floor had not been washed, this was evident from the sand that remained on the floor. Towels were changed maybe after a couple of days. In recent days, we simply put our dried towels in the bathroom. The foot towel was taken away on the first day of cleaning and it would have been a mess if they hadn’t come to get it themselves.
The minibar was replenished daily: water, mineral water, 2 types of lemonade. The air conditioning worked properly, even with the balcony open. The balcony is large, sometimes in the evening we sat there because... Sometimes I caught wi-fi there.
Beach towels are received from 8.30 and returned until 18.30, which is very inconvenient, because... We stayed on the beach until 19.00, or even longer. Therefore, we handed them over 3-4 times in 14 days, the rest of the time they were dried on the balcony.
The road to the sea was about 5-7 minutes on foot, to the sea from a hill, but back, to pump up your legs a little) You could also get there by minibus, which ran 4 times a day. There is no entrance to the sea as such, a piece of the sea that was supposed to be our hotel was taken under water sports, everyone went swimming a little to the left of the beach, where some dirty river flowed into the sea. It didn’t smell, but it was clearly not a mountain river; the flow was most likely dirty and muddy. We went for a swim about 200 meters to the right. The beach is very small, elongated. Every day there were more and more people. A lot of children. I don't recommend going here as a couple.
A bar by the beach – they mostly only took water there, so there’s not much to say about it. I tried coffee and hot chocolate there - it was melancholy.
The food at the hotel is tasteless, over-peppered, over-salted in places, monotonous, with only different variations in cutting and presentation.
In 13 days at this hotel there were squid rings in butter breading once, mussels stewed with squid and tiny shrimps once, trout once.
Breakfast is meager - undercooked pancakes, fried eggs, scrambled eggs (it was delicious once), breakfast cereals, 3-in-1 machine coffee, tea bags, infuser tea (they also brew large bags of tea in a kettle), bread, buns are always the same every day.
Lunch - 2 types of soup, the soup plates were dirty, we had to look for clean ones. There are stewed vegetables, but they are over-peppered, there is a lot of grilled liver, and this is 5* then, fish like grilled herring. You have to try hard to find rice that wasn’t over-peppered, fries, unfinished baked potatoes, pasta, which ran out very quickly because, apparently, there was nothing to feed the children other than regular pasta.
And different variations of stewed vegetables, again, which are impossible to eat because of the spices.
Dinner was also prepared outside, again on the grill - chicken, herring, liver, turkey. All this is very boring, I want normal food, not grilled, but good stewing, moderately salted and peppered. The rest is the same as for lunch.
Ice cream. Oh, that's a different story. There was always a line behind him. We were able to try it once because we decided to do it before dinner. As a result, we got lemon ice cream. Similar to a dry cold semi-finished product with lemon flavor. They didn't eat anymore.
From fresh vegetables - cucumbers, sliced tomatoes, herbs, spread salads (we don’t eat these even at home), from fruits - sliced oranges, apricots, watermelons were not always sweet, like melons, nectarines were completely unripe, apples were normal, like ours .
The service is also worthy of note. In this hotel chain, it is customary for waiters to serve drinks at lunch and dinner. Here the waiters serve the Germans first, and then, maybe, if you are lucky, or if you glare at him, he will come up and reluctantly ask you what to bring. This is what we watched throughout our vacation. The Germans are a clear priority in this hotel. The waiters walk around smiling at them, bringing them in and taking them away, communicating, laughing, playing with the children. With Russians everything is different. The only time my husband ordered beer was at a bar near a restaurant, and it was poured into a plastic glass. At a time when beer was poured into glass glasses for the Germans, as it should be. They always serve Germans first at the bar, even if you are standing in front of a German in line, it’s as if they don’t see you or don’t want to see you and ask the person behind you what he wants. This attitude was amazing. This is not the first time we have vacationed in Turkey, and not even the first in Side, but such an attitude has never existed anywhere. Once I asked for lemon for tea in the lobby bar, he put 2 slices in my glass, I asked for 2 more, to which he, looking as if I owed him money, threw a couple more slices into the glass and snorted something. At lunch they asked for a glass of cola, so he disappeared, and when he appeared, he pretended to have forgotten.
The more people the hotel became, the less they could cope with service, cooking, cleaning, etc. It feels like they were completely unprepared for the influx of people.
And now the most important thing! ROTAVIRUS is walking around the hotel. My husband and I were ill, with all the consequences, and we are still being treated. With all that entails, this means that we didn’t just lie in the room and leave, but got sick as normal, with torsions in the stomach, diarrhea, headache, fever and vomiting. Because all our brought tablets ran out, I had to go to the pharmacy more than once, where they sold me our Russian activated carbon, 2 blisters of 10 tablets of an old paper sample, for 8 euros. This is the most expensive coal my husband has drank in his entire life. We also bought probiotics for 5 euros per pack of 10 tablets. After the rotavirus, I didn’t eat meat until the end of the holiday, I couldn’t look at it. It’s not just that we were unlucky, people actually got sick. On the beach I heard that my daughter was sick, the mother was going alone to look at the skin, then the child drank something, his stomach hurt in the evening, then a teenage boy had a bad stomach and went to the room. After rotavirus, my husband also got poisoned from stewed vegetables with meat, which they make in large pots. The boy who was an animator on the beach playing bocce ball also suffered from stomach pain after this dish. After all these adventures, we walked around with empty plates in search of something edible and less dangerous. In fact, we didn't actually eat anything. So, be careful. If you go to this hotel, take a lot of medicine with you, but it’s better not to go at all than to put yourself and your children in danger.
I hope my review will be useful to you. Have a nice holiday everyone.
