A sandy or pebble beach is better. Doctors recommend a pebble beach. Types of beaches in Montenegro: sandy, pebble and concrete

The pebble beach is a real natural healer. On such a beach it is always warm and the water is mostly clean, and walking on the stones is an excellent preventive measure against many diseases. Crimea itself is a wonderful place to relax: mild climate, moderate humidity, sources of healing water and mud in salt lakes. Another advantage of the peninsula is the presence of pebble beaches.

They are usually divided into small-pebble and large-pebble. Most of Crimea's beaches are located on its south coast and some are covered with rock debris. Sharp corners round off over time and create this amazing place like a pebble beach. Doctors not only in the CIS, but throughout the world are confident that staying on a pebble beach has a healing effect on people of any age. No matter how fantastic it may sound, the influence of pebbles can cure even serious diseases!

The healing properties of a pebble beach in Crimea. Natural massage

Simple pebbles helped our ancestors to be more resilient. They could make long hiking, run faster, and thanks to the strengthening of the skin, they were not afraid of damage and wounds.

By walking on hot pebbles, you can get rid of the problems of epilepsy, migraine, bronchial asthma (together with sea air). And this is far from a joke. Medical and scientific studies have proven that foot massage, which is performed by pebbles on the feet, improves blood circulation, that is, the condition of the body as a whole. At the same time, you need to try to free your head from thoughts and enjoy the atmosphere.

Even better is to jump on warm pebbles every day, which makes it possible to strengthen muscles, bones, foot joints and overall health. Pebbles can dissolve seals on the feet. This is an excellent prevention of corns and calluses, because the skin begins to resist and becomes stronger in “harsh” conditions.

Even lying on pebbles heated by the sun affects the lymphatic and blood vessels. This makes all body systems work more actively.

Children running on pebble beaches reduce the risk of developing flat feet. Elderly people find it difficult to walk on stones, so they can self-massage their feet and legs with pebbles. To do this, you should find the optimally round and flat stone, and roll it along the sole of your foot (preferably under an awning, otherwise you may get burned).
It’s not for nothing that elite salons use this stone for relaxing and wellness treatments. They can be repeated directly on a pebble beach by laying stones along the spine. This will help to have a positive effect on the back, throat, thyroid gland, heart, lungs, even the digestive organs. Hot pebbles (heated in the sun above +40ºС) are also used in stone therapy. The Chinese used stones 2,000 years before the invention of acupuncture and call stone therapy “the mother of acupuncture.”

Where to look for the best pebble beaches in Crimea

It is better to go to Crimea for more than a week. On the first day, you should try walking on pebbles, increasing the time of such massage to 30 minutes by the end of the trip. It is also advisable to visit several beaches, starting with small stones and ending with larger ones.

Pebble beaches are common near Yalta, in some places all the way to Alushta. Here the pebbles are medium in size and do not injure your feet at all. Many people prefer pebble beaches to sand ones because of greater convenience and benefits, which is correct, because pebbles not only conduct heat well, but also affect the areas of the foot responsible for the internal organs. At first it can be difficult and difficult to get used to the sensations, so you can start by walking in shallow water, where the stones are coated with algae and plaque.

Near Sudak and the New World, pebbles alternately give way to gray sand. Between Sudak and Feodosia there is a pebble beach in Rybatskoye near Cape Meganom. At Foros the pebbles are very small, almost sand. You can improve your health on the pebble beach of Lyubimovka near Sevastopol. Combined beaches in Peschany, Beregovoe (Kastopol) and Nikolaevka. A very beautiful Livadia pebble beach, which is more sandy towards the sea. The central pebble beach in Feodosia is very popular due to the ideal roundness of the stones, which prevents injuries. Wild Jasper Beach is covered with pebbles, but is unsafe due to huge boulders in the water. One of the most beautiful pebble beaches is located in the bays of Kara-Dag.

The peculiarity of Crimean pebbles is that local climate heats it optimally. Therefore, the effect of staying on such a beach is maximum. Pebbles prevent water pollution near the shore, even after a storm. Everyone can choose a convenient pebble size, since Crimean beaches have all possible sizes: from small, almost dusty pebbles, to large ones, skillfully ground by the sea and time.

In Sevastopol there are the following pebble beaches: the beach of Victory Park (where our Clinic is located), Serebryany, Zolotoy, Yashmovy, Vasili, Fig, Tolstoy, Marble, in Cossack Bay, Soldatsky, Tsarskoe Selo, etc.

The benefits of relaxing on a pebble beach are undeniable.

Walking on pebbles should be pleasant. It only takes a day to get used to it and after that you won’t be able to resist. The effect of warm stones on nerve endings and the relaxing effect that a walk on a pebble beach gives is unique. Especially with the cries of seagulls and the splashing of sea waves. Be sure to visit the pebble beaches of Sevastopol to see for yourself.

And in the next article we will give you short description beaches closest to our clinic.

Sandy beach on Bakal Spit

Why does Crimea attract people so much? Every year the peninsula is visited by thousands of tourists, and they all come here in the hope of entertainment, relaxation and health. These three main components of a stay in Crimea are easily found by tourists on the beaches. It's on the beach sea coast visitors spend most of their time, so a lot depends on. The debate about which beach is better - sand or pebble - will probably never be resolved, as they say, there are no comrades according to taste and color. However, it is better to decide in advance what you want from your vacation, so as not to suffer later in a place that is not comfortable for you.

So, pebbles. The beaches of Yalta, almost the entire South Coast, part of the Sevastopol and Evpatoria beaches are covered with pebbles, varying in size and structure, but still pebbles. The main advantages of pebble beaches, which are popular among those who like to lie on the pebbles: massage, cleanliness of the sea and a clean body. Foot and body massage with pebbles is really useful. The question is, can you withstand such a massage for a long time? In the best case, if the pebbles are not large and smooth, your back will ache in the evening, but if the stones are large or uneven, bruises cannot be avoided, and every attempt to enter the sea will turn into a comedy corps de ballet with you in the leading role.

Dislocations or sprains may be much more serious after such walks. Pebbles of dark shades quickly heat up in the sun, so you won’t be able to walk barefoot on the beach, but you can update your shoes 5 times in 10 days of rest. The heat, sea salt and walking on rocks will quickly render any flip flops useless. The cleanliness of the sea does not depend on the beach covering; pebbles do not guarantee that the water will be clear when the sea is rough. In coastal waters, the bottom can be sandy, or both sandy and pebble, so the water will still be turbid.

If the entire bottom is covered with pebbles, during waves and storms there is a risk of getting unpleasant blows to your toes from pebbles that rise in the waves. In general, the cleanliness of the sea does not depend on the beach, but on the culture of vacationers: the freer the beach, the cleaner it is. The undeniable advantage of pebbles over sand, of course, is that, unlike sand, they do not stick to the body. You may have to wash off other types of dirt at home: dust, juice, crumbs, but not sand...

Sandy ones are common on the Western coast of Crimea and throughout. The main disadvantage of sand is that it is too sticky and gets into the eyes when there is wind.

And yet, all the most best beaches world - sandy. Sand, no less than pebbles, massages your feet pleasantly and makes it much more pleasant. And lying on the soft golden sand is probably the most popular idea perfect holiday. The composition and granules of sand vary greatly. You can find a beach with airy sand, the structure of which is similar to flour; your feet simply sink into such sand. But it has its drawbacks, the slightest movement of the sea or a weak breeze and small particles easily rise into the air. Even without opening your mouth, the sand will still creak on your teeth, and it is more difficult to wash it off with water than coarser sand.

Crimean sandy beaches are covered with ground shells; in some places there are beaches completely strewn with whole shells. This coating is more resistant to winds and sea waves. Entering the sea on sandy beaches is more pleasant and easier; there is no need to choose a safe place during each step in the sea. On sandy beaches it is more pleasant to play traditional beach sports: volleyball, football, badminton. And what scope opens up for realizing your fantasies when creating sand figures.

Magnificent Paleokastritsa

From the capital of the island, Kerkyra, you can get to Paleokastritsa by Green Bus (that’s the name of the bus), the ticket costs a few euros. The journey will take about thirty minutes. Another way to admire the cape is to book a tour of Kerkyra; not a single tourist group passes by. However, in this case it is unlikely that you will be able to plunge into the warm sea.

If you go to the beach, be sure to take a mask and fins with you, because the water is clean, and undersea world rich. Everything around is fragrant with the aromas of the Mediterranean.

Buses come straight to central beach, there is also a pier here. On it, locals offer a ride on a yacht or boat through grottoes and caves. It seems that there are too many foreign tourists, but most do not make noise and maintain the harmony of this place. Here you will find incredible picturesque bays. Paleokastritsa has the best beaches in Corfu; on the map you can find the city in the western part of the island.

There is sand mixed with pebbles. The entrance to the water is purely sandy, so special shoes are not needed. Be prepared that the water in June will be cold; it is better to swim later. But at any time of the year, the turquoise transparent sea will not leave you indifferent!

Barbati – fashionable beach

Barbati is a very clean pebble beach with clear water. From the shore you can see Albania, and if you sail further away, you will have a magnificent view of Mount Pantokrator. Anyone can rent sunbeds and umbrellas (there are always enough of them, trestle beds are placed in several rows). There are places to eat on Barbati. You will find both a shower and a toilet here. Despite all the amenities, the place is not crowded. The only exceptions are weekends, when the Greeks want to relax too. Agios Gordios is comfortably located in the most beautiful bay of Corfu, which can be immediately recognized from the photo. Typical features of the beach are the characteristic rocky terrain and a small rock that seems to be peeking out from the sea. This West Coast islands, and is traditionally considered European. There are very few Slavs in the village and by the sea.

Agios Gordios is civilized and there are plenty of places to eat. There are taverns with delicious national cuisine. Moreover, many coastal restaurants and bars offer customers free sun loungers. Even if you don't buy anything, the sun loungers are inexpensive. Two sunbeds with an umbrella cost from 5 euros per day.

There is sand on the shore, but the entrance to the sea is strewn with small pebbles. Sudden changes no, the approach is smooth, but deep places start 15 meters from the shore. If you search, you might come across wild beach with stunning fine sand not only on the shore, but also in the sea. In general, the place is ideal for relaxation, especially with small children.

Porto Timoni – when the mountains embrace the sea

Porto Timoni is a truly virgin place with lush vegetation and clear sea. In terms of beauty, this is the best beach in Corfu. By public transport You won’t be able to get there: only by rented car, taxi, or on your own. Even if you go by car, on the way to the beach you still have to overcome the descent from the mountain (about a quarter of an hour), and, accordingly, you will have to climb back. We advise you to take a change with you. But the views of Porto Timoni are worth all the effort. Therefore, when you are asked about the most beautiful beaches Corfu, you will probably talk about Porto Timoni.

Before the descent, you can refresh yourself in a cafe, and head on to the gorgeous pebble coast. To avoid getting lost, look at the signs and look for the words “Double beach”. In general, the name is not entirely true. In fact, there are three beaches, it’s just that getting to the third one is even more difficult than getting to the first two, so there are usually no people there.

When going to any of them, it is advisable to take an umbrella with you, because you will not find shade. The northern beach is windy and the water seems colder. But in southern Porto Timoni there is no wind at all, so there are a lot of wasps. For those who don't want to climb the mountains, there is an option to get to the beach by catamaran or boat.

Bataria – beach with white stones

Bataria is cozy and clean, but the pebbles on it are large. The trestle beds and umbrellas are paid, almost all are laid out on the stones. When entering the water, pebbles can cause trouble: pebbles can injure feet, especially for children. It is better to immediately purchase rubber shoes for swimming.

But the views are simply fantastic: azure water contrasts with white rocks. Wonderful views on nature! The photos come out great. However, there are also disadvantages.

The beach is small, there are a lot of people during the day. The sunbeds provided are uncomfortable, the umbrellas are old and sometimes broken. There is no toilet or shower. There is only a cafe where you can visit the toilet. But there are changing cabins on Bataria. But in terms of transport accessibility no questions, there is parking above the beach.

Rovinia – the beauty of wild nature

Rovinia Beach is a small pebble and rocky beach. Buses do not go here, but you can easily get there by car, boat (sea taxi) or on foot. Parking is available nearby. White pebbles, blue sea, tempting grottoes. The water is crystal clear, there are no algae, it would be a shame not to snorkel and try to catch fish with your hands! The sea is deep.

A secluded place, but still you can’t call it paradise. There is dirt and in terms of landscaping there is something to complain about. There are no sunbeds or umbrellas. In addition, due to the fact that the beach is wild, there are no buoys or restrictions for boats. Everyone can scurry along the shore in a motor boat. Sometimes this creates a danger: people are in the water, and a boat is passing nearby. You never know how it might end.

It’s difficult to find Rovinia Beach without instructions from the locals, because there are no signs. The road to the beach itself is picturesque and runs through olive groves. You can buy food on a small boat that brings snacks and drinks. They sell decent sandwiches, inexpensive beer and iced coffee.

Sandy beaches of Corfu

Those who do not like pebbles, but have chosen Corfu for their holiday, will find good sandy beaches on the island: noisy and secluded, popular and uncrowded.

Agios Georgios – a secluded place to relax

This sand beach clean and big. There are inclusions of pebbles at the entrance to the water. There are usually few people here.

Employees of hotels, shops and tourist shops do not know Russian words at all. Our compatriots usually relax on east coast, and we offer tours there.

You can get to Agios Georgios at any time of the day or night by taxi, in about twenty minutes. Corfu is all serpentines and rocks, so if you have a phobia of heights, you may feel uncomfortable.

The entry into the sea is beautiful, but there can be waves in this part of the island. Although for many this is a plus. Of course, you won’t be able to surf, but you can ride the waves with small children. Dolphins swim past. They sometimes put on their amazing show for vacationers.

The sea is shallow for the next ten meters, then the depth begins. You can always find a shower with fresh water within sight to rinse off.

Less crowded Gardenos

This beach is ideal for a break from the noise popular places on the coast of Corfu. They rest here local residents and tourists who live nearby. It is not one of those beaches that people travel to from the other end of Corfu. Gardenas is huge, completely sandy - sand both on the shore and in the sea. The water is warmer than in Paleokastritsa.

If you go there by car, it is better to take umbrellas and blankets with you. Umbrellas conveniently stick into the sand, you can save on rent. Open space, the wind blows almost always.

There are shops and restaurants in front of the beach entrance. There is a shower and changing room. Fish and other marine life can be seen in the water.

On the shore there is a small and simple restaurant with very reasonable prices. You can order takeaway and enjoy your food while looking at the sea from your sun lounger.

Mirtiotissa – no need to be shy

Stunning beach, one of the best and most picturesque in all of Greece. The main part of Myrtiotissa is given over to nudists. Be prepared for this. The beach is modest, cozy, with a sandy, gentle approach to the sea.

A special feature of the beach is its secluded location: you can only get here by rented car or moped. By the way, in order to go down to the sea, you will have to overcome a sharp descent, and a scooter with a weak engine may then not be able to climb up. Umbrellas here are surprisingly free, they are handed out to everyone at the entrance, but you have to pay for the opportunity to lie on a sun lounger.

This is one of the nicest resorts in Corfu with sandy beaches. There is a bar with drinks and snacks, and a restaurant along the road. Due to its specificity, Myrtiotissa is often visited by tourists from Western Europe and representatives of sexual minorities. However, there are many families with children.

Another wonderful beach– Paradise. In translation - " paradise beach" Tourists love it for its soft sand, convenient access to the sea and clean water. In addition, the beach is very exotic and secluded.

It is important that you cannot get there by land; you will only have to get there by sea.

If you are arriving by boat, remember that it is forbidden to land on the shore. However, if there are no people on Paradise, an exception can be made.

According to the rules, you need to anchor at a distance of fifty meters and swim there, like Robinson Crusoe. This means that you won’t be able to take anything with you. The most best time for mooring - early morning. A taxi boat will cost fifteen euros for each passenger, and renting the entire boat for a day will cost about 80 euros. It’s convenient to moor, you can plan your time as you want.

The left side of Paradise beach is more “civilized” and gently sloping: there are sun loungers and umbrellas. The right half is deserted, there are large stones in the sea. In general, the beach is long and generally pleasing to the eye, but if you want to explore the shore better, take shoes with you for walking on the rocks. Sheer snow-white cliffs, dense greenery, a long narrow strip coastline– your heart will remain here forever!

Many tourists, having learned that they will have to expose their belly to the sun on rocky shores, come into quiet horror and begin to yearn for the fine white sand. But in fact, pebbles have a lot of advantages. Having appreciated them, you will want to return to such spaces again and again. Today's article is about hot stones. Pebble beach: health benefits and more.
Foot massage. Does it hurt to step? Ay-ay, where are my flip-flops? But what if we look at the question from the other side? Walking barefoot on polished stones affects reflex points and stimulates the functioning of many internal organs. Therefore, we get something like an acupuncture session. And completely free

and in unlimited quantities. Free stone massage.

You can get an expensive beauty salon procedure if you ignore the sun loungers and spread the mat directly on the polished stones. By the way, the author of this article, thanks to lying on the pebble shore, had cellulite disappear in the initial stage.

Another plus (most likely for hotel owners!) is that after taking a shower, the drains in the rooms are less clogged, because sand does not get into them, which inevitably remains on the skin after vacationers visit sandy beaches.

Minus flat feet. It is generally accepted that it is better for children to sunbathe on the sand. This is true, but not entirely. If a child walks on pebbles, the risk of flat feet decreases. However, the stones should be at a comfortable temperature.

But the pebble beach also has its drawbacks.

  • Firstly, walking on pebbles can be a real challenge for those who have spinal and leg injuries. In this case, you need to consult a doctor and wear special shoes.
  • The stones heat up very well, but also cool down quickly. Those who like to sunbathe under the moon should not sit there, so as not to catch a cold. (Gatherings in wet swimming trunks or a swimsuit are especially dangerous). In this case, you need to sit on an air mattress, sun lounger, etc.
  • If you swim even with slight excitement, you can hit the rocks. It is better not to go into the sea when there are waves. However, swimming in a storm is dangerous in any case.

I don't like pebble beaches, so I always opt for sandy beaches. Is our Black Sea not only has a large selection of hotels and attractions, but also a huge selection of beaches. Here anyone can find a beach to suit their taste. All that remains is to find out where the beaches on the Black Sea are rocky and where they are sandy.

Where are the rocky beaches on the Black Sea

Majority famous resorts have pebble beaches. For example:

  • Lazarevskoe;
  • Kabardinka;
  • Dzhubga;
  • Resorts of Crimea;
  • Resorts of Abkhazia.

I can't swim on pebble beaches, but many people choose them for several reasons. Pros of pebble beaches:

  • cleanliness and transparency of water;
  • stones and pebbles do not stick to the body like sand;
  • better visibility underwater.

But pebble and rocky beaches have not only advantages. Minuses:

  • sharp stones;
  • risk of cutting your feet;
  • stones and pebbles become very hot in the sun;
  • the need to wear special slippers for swimming.

Not everyone wears special slippers for swimming. For some, pebbles are a great foot massager. But I still remember how the wave threw me right onto the rocks. It ended badly. My legs were covered in bruises and cuts. And I'm not the only one who has encountered this.

Where are the sandy beaches on the Black Sea

On Black Sea You can easily find sandy shores. Most of the sandy beaches are located in Anapa. You can find a good sandy beach in Gelendzhik. It is small (about 500 meters in length), but without pebbles. The sand also gets very hot in the middle of the day, but it is easier to run on it without shoes. Try running without shoes on pebbles and stones. Sandy beaches have their downsides. The disadvantages include the following:

  • sand sticks to wet skin, especially sunscreen;
  • the water is not so clear, as the sand is constantly agitated by people swimming in the sea;
  • when there is wind, sand will fly into your eyes;
  • algae grows on beaches where there is sand, not pebbles.

Sandy beaches are very good if you are going on holiday with a child. Children will be more comfortable swimming. Sand is safer for children. The child will not fall on the stones, so the risk of injury is greatly reduced. This is also a great beach for older people.. On such beaches, entry into the water is smoother. If you are going to a sandy beach, then you do not need to take special swimming shoes with you.

There are a huge number of beaches on the Black Sea. And you can always choose the beach that will be the most convenient and acceptable for you.
