Today, a huge territory includes a walking zone, an amusement zone, a museum of sculptures Museon, Vorobyovy Gory and Neskuchny Sad. Park "Zaryadye"

The newest symbol of the metropolis is located in the holy of holies of the capital - next to Red Square. Muscovites received a gift in the form of a modern recreation and entertainment zone in 2017. The modest size (0.13 km2) did not prevent him from gaining popularity among citizens and tourists. However, one should not hope that one can take a walk in the shade of rugged vegetation here - the authors of Zaryadye set themselves completely different goals.

This park is called the "miracle of engineering." In the territory representing the symbiosis of natural landscapes and climatic zones of Russia, innovative objects were placed: a philharmonic society, an archaeological underground museum, a conservation embassy, an interactive media center and a gourmet paradise - the Gastronomic Pavilion. Recently, the kingdom of the Snow Queen has appeared here - an ice cave with an area of 350 m2. The heart of the park is a floating bridge, from the height of which you can take a photo of the embankment of the Moscow River and the Kremlin towers.

Sokolniki Park"

One of the few places in Moscow where the spirit of the end of the last century has been preserved. There were still couples dancing in a waltz on the Veranda of dances, pensioners who gamble dominoes, and schoolchildren competing in Bouncers in the Pioneer creative center. The rope complex, trampoline arena and modern rides peacefully coexist with the good old carousels. Interested clubs are waiting for dog breeders, chess players and calligraphers, while ornithology lovers will be the only Russian ornithologist.

A nature corner is located in the north-east of the city and covers an area of 5.16 km2. Sokolniki is always fun and interesting. Alexander Garden

Previously, the Neglinka River flowed here. In 1819, the shallowed water artery was enclosed in a pipe, and a park was set up in its place. The order to create the garden was given by Alexander I, and a green corner in the heart of Belokamennaya was named after him. Three avenues cut through 10 hectares of lawns and natural landscapes located between the Kremlin and Manezhnaya Square. Schematically, the park area is divided into three parts.

The Upper Garden welcomes guests with a cast-iron gate decorated with gilded elements symbolizing military victories. On the left is a memorial dear to the heart of every Russian - the Eternal Flame, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and steles representing hero cities. Next is the Italian Grotto and the Romanovsky Obelisk. Walking among fountains, sculptures, flower beds and figurines of fairy-tale heroes, visitors cross the Troitsky Bridge into the Middle Garden - a kingdom of silence, birdsong and beautiful landscapes. The lower garden is closed to the public.

MUSEON art park

The guests of the Gorky Park are met by a unique open-air museum, which gathered about 800 wooden, stone and bronze figures. With a light hand of Muscovites, this place is called a cemetery of sculptures. Such a strange name is associated with the history of the park. In 1970, the construction of the new building of the Tretyakov Gallery began on Krymsky Val. The grandiose building was ready in 9 years. However, the nearby landfill for construction waste for a long time “pleased” the townspeople, until the artists turned it into a park.

The main part of the Museon's collection is made up of sculptures of the Soviet period, which were left behind after the 1991 coup. On an area of 24 hectares, abstract figures, monuments to the leaders of the Soviet people, great writers and heroes of books are located. Historical artifacts are also made up of modern compositions dedicated to the years of World War II and the Stalinist repressions.

Once the Hermitage Garden belonged to the theater artist M. V. Lentovsky and was an entertainment place for walks of the local elite. When the owner went broke, the place fell into desolation. Later, the garden with all the buildings passed to the merchant Y. V. Shchukin, who planted trees and shrubs here, set up flower beds, set up benches and reconstructed the theater building. Now in the garden you can see a fountain, squirrel, summer stage, a cinema and a dovecote.

Frunze Embankment

It is pleasant to take a walk along the uninhabited embankment, which stretches along the left bank of the Moscow River from the Krymsky Bridge to the Khamovnichesky Val, any day. There are few cars, there are no crowds of tourists, and the air is clean due to the lack of industrial enterprises. Pay attention to architecture - houses are decorated with columns and towers, and a huge structure that attracts the eye is the headquarters of the Russian ground forces.

 Pushkin bridge 0+

The Pushkinskiy foot bridge connects Pushkinskaya and Frunzenskaya embankments. It offers a beautiful view of the historic city center and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. In some sources, the bridge is called Andreevsky, because during its construction they used the metal arch of another bridge - Andreevsky, which was built a hundred years earlier and was located nearby, but fell into decay. There is still a commemorative plaque on the bridge’s arch.

 Sparrow Hills 0+

The Sparrow Hills is the place where archaeologists discovered one of the oldest human settlements in Europe. Peter the Great and Fedor Chaliapin liked to walk around the picturesque mountains, the construction of the first water supply system in the city began on these hills, and now the main university of Russia, Moscow State University, is located here. Today, on the Sparrow Hills there is the most famous observation deck of the capital, and the promenade at the foot of the slope was chosen by cyclists and skaters. Rare species of birds nest in the park area, springs break out from under the ground.

Triumphal Arch 0+

Moscow has its own triumphal arch. It is located on Kutuzovsky Prospekt in the area of Poklonnaya Gora and is dedicated to the victory in the Patriotic War of 1812. Together with the Kutuzovskaya izba and the Borodino Battle Panorama Museum, the arch forms a single memorial complex. Its bases are made of white stone and decorated with cast-iron columns. Between them are sculptures of ancient warriors, and the composition is crowned with a chariot drawn by six horses.

Museum-Estate "Arkhangelsk" 0+

The estate, named after the ancient Arkhangelsk church, in different years belonged to the noble families of the Odoevsky and Golitsyn, and later to the princes Yusupov. The majestic palace and park complex is modeled on the French Versailles. Today, the palace houses the largest collection of rare books and documents in Russia, as well as large-scale expositions of sculpture, painting, engraving and objects of decorative art from the collection of Prince Yusupov. In the Office building you can see a large collection of Western European painting of the XVIII century. The estate hosts creative festivals and exhibitions of contemporary artists.

 Tsvetnoy Boulevard

Once upon a time, the Neglinnaya River flowed at this place, but at the beginning of the XIX century it was chained into an underground pipe, and a flower market appeared on the surface, which later turned into a boulevard. Tsvetnoy Boulevard of the past, unlike the present, was an unpleasant place - there were drinking establishments and asocial elements lodged here. Now Tsvetnoy Boulevard is a great place for a leisurely walk among greenery and sculptures.

Tverskoy Boulevard 0+

Tverskaya Boulevard, named after Tverskaya Street adjacent to it, was the first boulevard of the capital. The nobles who lived in the mansions nearby loved to walk here in the shade of linden alleys. Later lindens were cut down by French troops, who camped in these places, and the mansions were destroyed by a fire. Towards the end of the 19th century, apartment buildings grew in their place. Now, walking along the boulevard, you can see the oldest metropolitan oak, fountain, monuments to Sergei Yesenin and Kliment Timiryazev.

North River Station

The Northern River Station (also known as Khimki) is located next to the Khimki reservoir. This is a bright monument of Stalinist architecture and one of the famous city attractions. The station building was built in the shape of a ship, fountains are located on its terraces, and a star is installed on the tower, which adorned the Spasskaya Tower of the Kremlin in the 30s of the 20th century. From the station you can go for a romantic walk along the reservoir in a comfortable boat or take a ride on the fast-moving “Rocket”.

Bolotnaya Embankment 0+

Bolotnaya embankment appeared on the map of Moscow in the XVIII century - it connected the districts of Bersenevka and Bolot. In the large economic and industrial area of Bolotnaya, the shops of local merchants were located, and later a power station was built to feed the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. At the end of the last century, the embankment experienced a rebirth - the old buildings were demolished, and the territory was landscaped.

Bolshoy Moskvoretsky bridge 0+

The largest bridge in Moscow, Bolshoi Moskvoretsky, is located in the center and connects Vasilyevsky Spusk and Varvarka Street. The bridge in this place has stood since 1498, in those days it was floating, and later it was rebuilt into a wooden one. The modern bridge appeared in 1938. It is 554 meters long, its space is divided into automobile and pedestrian zones.

The bridge of Bogdan Khmelnitsky

The pedestrian bridge is located near the Kiev railway station and connects the Rostov and Berezhkovskaya embankments of Moscow. The bridge was opened in 2001 and was originally called Kiev, but three years later it was renamed the Bogdan Khmelnitsky bridge. Now under a glass canopy are shops and observation decks with balconies. From there, scenic views of the Taras Shevchenko embankment and the Government House, Vorobyovy Gory, Moscow State University, the domes and bell towers of the Novodevichy Convent open up. Silver-Grape Pond 0+

The oldest pond in Moscow was created by order of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich to protect the Izmailovsky estate from spies and intruders. Grapes, almonds, watermelons, dates and melons, unusual for the then Russia, were grown on its shores, and a little later the young Tsarevich Peter sailed across the pond in the famous boat from which the history of the Russian fleet began. Nowadays, relaxing by the pond turns into a fascinating tour to historical sites. And also near the reservoir there is a sandy beach, children's and sports grounds, an outdoor cafe, a boat station and a bicycle rental.

Vorontsovsky park (Vorontsovo estate) 0+

Vorontsov Park with the estate of the same name located on its territory are architectural monuments of the late XVIII. The first owner of the estate was the boyar Vorontsov - the oaks and lindens planted by him still grow in the park. Later, the estate passed from hand to hand, and once there was even a secret factory that produced military balloons to fight against Napoleon. The restoration of the park began at the beginning of the XXI century, and today it is famous not only for its picturesque landscapes, but also for its ponds: in summer you can go boating and swim in the ice-hole in winter. The most famous attraction of Vorontsovo is the Temple of the Life-Giving Trinity.

Going to Moscow, I constantly thought about why this city has not become a popular tourist destination among our compatriots. It is beautiful, interesting and more than colorful. Everyone understands this. But for some reason, such things always remain behind the scenes - as if somewhere on the sidelines. On the one hand, Belarusians travel to Moscow regularly. On the other hand, only a few will have a camera with them. As if Moscow does not exist at all for this. “Peter, yes. What about Moscow? Well, what is there to take pictures?

Probably six months ago, when my Schengen visa was proudly shining in my passport, I myself would hardly have gone here. But now I am not at all disappointed that I nevertheless decided on this trip. The capital of Russia is a truly great city. And in these words now there is not a gram of politics. I liked it here. Even despite the fact that the cold weather for the second time in a row literally drives me crazy. And even despite the fact that for me personally this was far from the first trip to this city. Oh well ... Enough talk.

About what interesting places in Moscow a tourist should visit, as well as about how personally Tanya and I spent the weekend in this city, read further in our article. I’ll try to show you the capital of Russia as only Chinese tourists see it. As Gagarin said: “Let's go!”

Moscow places of interest: where to go for a tourist and what to do in the Russian capital

Visit the Moscow residence of Catherine II.

For lovers of antiquity and classical Russian architecture, the Tsaritsyno museum complex located at the metro station of the same name is a real must see. It is beautiful, cozy and somehow not in Moscow quiet. In general, getting here, you seem to fall into some other reality. I could imagine such a building somewhere in St. Petersburg. But in Moscow, it looked like an alien from some parallel world.
Well, imagine: you are walking around the city. On the one hand, there is some kind of withered market. On the other - high-rise apartment buildings. And then suddenly you cross the road - and a huge palace appears in front of you. Around there is a large park, a crystal pond with some unrealistic number of ducks, wrought iron lamps and numerous bridges with mysterious Masonic symbols. It seems that you literally in a few minutes wandered into some other - completely unfamiliar world. It’s just a brain stem.

The bridge over the ravine. And a bunch of Masonic symbols.

In general, the Tsaritsyno museum complex is not only the famous Grand Palace (which does not want to completely interfere with the frame). But also a large number of other historical buildings. A bread house, ancient greenhouses, curly bridges, the Temple of the Icon of the Mother of God - all these buildings fit organically into the territory of one large Moscow park. It is very difficult to talk about this complex in a nutshell. Therefore, a little later I will give out a separate article on this topic. And now I’ll just sketch some more photos here so you can appreciate the beauty and grandeur of this museum. Not a single list of the most interesting places in Moscow is complete without mentioning the Tsaritsyno complex.

Bread House (aka - Kitchen Building). Stolovka, in short.

Grand Palace

Tanya and I. Selfies inside the imperial palace

Well this lady, I think you recognize.

At the end of the block, some useful information, which my Tanya always insists on ... The Tsaritsyno Museum has been working all week except Monday. Working hours:

 • Tuesday – Friday: from 11:00 to 18:00
 • Saturday: from 11:00 to 20:00
 • Sunday: from 11:00 to 19:00
 • The park adjacent to the complex is open from 6 in the morning until midnight.

A comprehensive ticket to all the halls and expositions costs 650 Russian rubles. A ticket to the Grand Palace and the Bread House will cost less - 350 rubles. A visit to greenhouses alone costs 250 rubles. The third Sunday of every month - admission to all rooms is free (as, incidentally, to other museums in Moscow). More information about the Tsaritsyno Museum and current exhibitions can be found at www.tsaritsyno-museum.ru.

Take a walk along the Kremlin walls.

The Grand Palace in Tsaritsyno is a very beautiful and picturesque place. But there is one ancient fortress in Moscow, which will always remain number one for tourists. I think you understand what I mean.
The Moscow Kremlin is a symbol of Moscow. And at the same time - and a symbol of all of Russia. From its walls, soldiers went to the front in 1941. At its walls was the great Victory Parade four years later.

As for me personally, I really liked this place. It feels the spirit of modern Russia. As if everything that this distant and close country lives in is embodied in the features of one building. Ruby stars, a guard of honor at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the famous clock on the Spasskaya Tower - all this is certainly worth seeing. As, however, and many other colorful little things scattered in the immediate vicinity of the Kremlin walls. For example, the “Minsk” star on the alley of “Hero Cities”.
Monuments to the characters of Russian fairy tales.

A fountain with galloping horses (which, unfortunately, did not work in March).

All this gives the city a special charm, showing tourists that the most interesting places in Moscow, at times, can be found in the most unexpected place.

Look into the mausoleum of Lenin.

To be honest: Tanya and I didn’t get here in Moscow for three days. Therefore, I will write in a nutshell about this cult place (at least for the Russian capital). So, guess the riddle: how is Minsk different from Moscow? Of course, hundreds of answers to this question can be found. But in this case, I would note only one difference: in Minsk, Lenin is vertical, and in Moscow - horizontal. Although both are already more likely a monument than a man. The body of the leader of the world proletariat has been in the mausoleum since 1924. And since then, the "human" remains of Vladimir Ilyich, as many experts note, have survived by less than 10 percent.

Wander through Red Square.

It is wandering around, because taking pictures here is practically useless. Clouds of Chinese constantly climb into the frame, for whom Moscow, after sinking the Russian ruble, has become the most popular destination for travel. To say that there are many of them is to say nothing. Instead, I note another curious fact - many inscriptions in the center of Moscow are already duplicated in Chinese. Here, for example, what price tags look like in the Moscow GUM.

Eat ice cream at the Moscow GUM.

Speaking of GUM ... For me personally, this store was the most vivid impression of this whole spring trip. And the point here is not at all in shopping, but in the very atmosphere that reigns under the glass arches of this ancient building. If you call the most interesting places in Moscow - it is the main department store of this city that I would safely put in first place. Why? I personally can find several answers to this question at once.

Getting here, you are as if immersed in the atmosphere of Soviet Moscow of the 60-70s. Under the arches of the store, melodies of the USSR-ov hits are heard. Soviet posters hang on the walls. And colorful and strict ice cream men deliver branded Soviet ice cream in waffle cones through long galleries of the GUM (1 = 50 rubles).

I understand that in the CIS space the words “Soviet”, “USSR-ovsky”, as well as, incidentally, the word “GUM” itself, sound at least ambiguous. Many see them as unnecessary moldy remnants of the past. Or some Soviet gray. But the Moscow GUM has nothing to do with all this. Here, the atmosphere of the USSR does not repel, but rather fascinates, attracts and inspires. She wants to penetrate. And take away with you. Like the music of Edward Gil. Or the song "White Steamboat" from the comedy "Guardian", which still sounds in my head. Do you remember her?

What else do I remember in the Moscow GUM? Painted benches, a colorful dining room No. 57, romantic bridges hovering somewhere under glass arches, and this is an unusual tree, studded with dozens of colorful birdhouses with the names of certain stores. It's hard not to fall in love with such a Moscow. After all, this city knows how to be not only mocked and harsh, but also open, romantic and soulful in the spring.

Admire the ancient Moscow churches

The ancient temples of the Russian capital - have long become symbols known throughout the world. Russia can not be understood. You can not love Russia. But not admiring the beauty of ancient Russian architecture is very, very difficult. And, hand on hand, on the sacred buttons on the keyboard of my laptop, I can honestly say that Moscow's St. Basil's Cathedral is one of the most beautiful buildings that I have ever seen in my life. But in the Russian capital there are many other interesting churches ... the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Epiphany Cathedral, the Hagia Sophia and many others - each of these places is a full-fledged attraction. We found only a few of them. Next, I attach a couple of photos.

Go to the performance of one of Moscow theaters

Probably, I will not go far from the truth, if I say that Russian theater was and remains, if not the best in the world, then definitely one of the best. The Bolshoi Theater, the Vakhtangov Theater, the Moscow Art Theater - all these names are known far beyond the borders of Russia. Although, frankly, now I somehow do not want to load you with serious stories about high art. Therefore, instead of long transfers, I will say only one thing: in most Moscow theaters you can watch live the game of many stars of modern Russian TV shows. For example, Tanya and I were going to go to a performance with some actors from the famous television project Kitchen. Unfortunately, this plan did not work out. But maybe during your trip you will find time to go to the theater?

Ride on the Moscow metro.

That's what you really don’t miss during a trip to the Russian capital - this is the Moscow metro. Without it, moving around the city is almost impossible. Especially if you drive mainly in the central part of the city, which regularly suffers from traffic jams.
However, probably this is for the better. After all, the metro in the Russian capital is another full-fledged tourist attraction, which can be safely attributed to one of the most interesting places in Moscow. In many guidebooks, this subway is called the “underground masterpiece of architecture” and the most beautiful metro in Europe. Although, in my subjective opinion, not all stations of the local subway really deserve attention. An exception is made only by the oldest stations of the Moscow metro - Revolution Square, Kievskaya (ring), Mayakovskaya, Novoslobodskaya. Personally, I also really liked the Vorobevy Gory metro station, where Tanya and I caught some random exhibition of household items. As well as the metro station "Exhibition", combined with the glass bridge of Bagration. This bridge offers a great view of the embankment of the Moscow River, as well as the skyscrapers of Moscow City. Tolika tar in a barrel of honey is added everywhere not washed windows. But these are, so to speak, little things in life.

Oh yes ... I also really liked those metro stations where trains jump to the surface. You go, you go among the dark tunnels of the subway and then suddenly - uh - and there is such beauty around.

Take a picture of the tallest building in Europe.

Frankly, for me personally, the skyscrapers of the Russian capital and the local business center as a whole have been and remain one of the most interesting places in Moscow. Each building is a separate masterpiece. What is the twisted spiral of the Evolution Tower (No. 1 according to Tanya) or the “City of Capitals” complex, as if made of giant cubes? All together it looks very beautiful and impressive. And the glare playing on the waves of the Moscow River only reinforce this impression.

As for the tallest buildings, there are three of them here (no matter how strange it sounds). The Mercury Tower held this title in 2013. OKO Tower - in 2014 And the eastern part of the Federation Tower is the tallest building in Europe at the time of this writing. Its height is 374 meters. Damn ... I don’t know about you, but I just love skyscrapers.

Skyscraper Mercury - first on the right; Federation Tower is a double building to his left. In the center is the twisted spiral of the Evolution tower.

If anyone is interested: on some towers of the complex are equipped with separate viewing platforms. How cool the view opens from there, I personally do not know. But this pleasure is quite expensive - 500 Russian rubles (at the time of this writing - 150 thousand Belarusian rubles). For 5500 p. You can even arrange a date at the Moscow City complex. More information about this is presented on the website Moscow-city-lookout.rf.

View on Moscow from the Sparrow Hills

However, several excellent viewing platforms in Moscow can be found absolutely free. The most popular of them is the observation deck on the Sparrow Hills, located near the metro station of the same name. The only negative in this case is that you have to go a little more to it. Part of the path goes uphill - along the roads of the local park. The other part is along the highway, along ordinary asphalt. In total, from the doors of the metro station to the observation deck of the Vorobyovy Gory stomp 10-15 minutes. Oh yes: still dress warmer. The observation deck is quite cool and windy.

Find all seven Stalinist skyscrapers.

The building of the Russian Foreign Ministry

The observation deck of the Sparrow Hills is also noteworthy in that it is from here that you can see all seven Stalinist skyscrapers, which were and remain one of the main symbols of modern Moscow. Honestly, I personally counted only six such buildings from this site. I once saw two more similar buildings in Riga and Warsaw. And in Moscow itself, I was able to see only two such buildings in the vicinity - the high-rise building of Moscow State University (near the Sparrow Hills) and the building of the Russian Foreign Ministry (near Stary Arbat). All the others I saw only in the distance - somewhere in the distance or even on the horizon.

The building of Moscow State University, which for 37 years was the tallest building in Europe. It is believed that the construction of this tower used materials from the destroyed Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the German Reichstag. And on one of the projects, a monument to the "Worker and Collective Farm Girl" was supposed to be right next to him.

And again, the building of the Russian Foreign Ministry

Tanya freezing in Moscow

Why were these buildings so interesting to me? I don’t know ... Maybe I was somehow attracted by their sacred meaning, which they constantly attribute to them, along with the many secrets of their creation. Moscow skyscrapers are called "places of power", "space conductors" and "analogues of the Egyptian pyramids." Fans of various stories related to aliens say that Stalin built them as “communication switches” with extraterrestrial civilizations. And the native Muscovites claim that under some buildings there are hidden entrances to the secret lines of the subway (the so-called Metro-2).
What of this is true, and what is fiction, of course, I do not know. However, it is known for certain that initially the skyscrapers should have been not seven, but eight. For the sake of one of them, in 1931, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior was even specially blown up. A few years later, a grandiose construction of the Palace of Soviets began at this place, which was stopped due to the outbreak of World War II. Subsequently, the construction project of the eighth and most important high-rise building was never implemented. However, the original sketches of the building have survived to this day. Therefore, one can still imagine what this architectural giant, crowned with a giant monument to Lenin, would look like.

See the famous monument "Worker and Collective Farm Girl"

Another symbol of the Soviet empire and at the same time one of the most famous monuments of our time is located near the VDNH metro station near the Cosmos Hotel. The steel sculpture stands on a separate pedestal. And it looks gloomy, but impressive. Probably, this should be the real symbol of the Soviet Union.

Get into the history of space exploration.

In fact, to come to the VDNH station is not only for the sake of the famous monument of Vera Mukhina. In addition to it, there is the Cosmonautics Museum, the famous (but also rather gloomy) Cosmos hotel, as well as the monument to the Conquerors of Space, which appears before our eyes almost immediately after leaving the metro. In March 2016, against the backdrop of a leaden Moscow sky, this pointed stele looked very unusual and even somehow mystical. The monument seemed surprisingly cold to me. But at the same time it was difficult to look away from him.

Find the Belarusian pavilion at the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy.

For me, the golden fountains of VDNH and the pavilions of this all-Union exhibition were one of the main reasons for my trip to Moscow. I don’t know why, but personally I expected a lot from them. And in the end, it was this place on the map of the Russian capital that disappointed me the most. Golden fountains hid behind piles of scaffolding. The alleys of the adjoining park due to bad weather were somehow gloomy and lifeless. It seemed that some endless oppressive autumn reigned in this place. Although, probably, in warm weather, VDNH looks much more bright and welcoming.

One way or another, we still managed to find the Belarusian pavilion of this old exhibition. Does it look really cool? Not. But to visit this interesting corner of Moscow is still worth it. Personally, I remember much more here this space rocket.
Colorful, is not it?

Take a walk in Moscow Arbat.

We concluded our trip to Moscow with a walk through another famous corner of the Russian capital - the old Arbat. And he was remembered to me by some huge number of unusual and amazing little things.
Here, for example, is a replica of the imperial crown in one of the local souvenir shops.

 Wall Tsoi.

A huge portrait of Zhukov on one of the walls.

And an unusual blue trolley, turned into one of the iconic Moscow cafes.

Even on the old Arbat there is a huge green Gulliver, the "golden" Princess Turandot and the inconspicuous house in which Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin once lived. All these pleasant little things turn Moscow Arbat into a very colorful and unusual street - one of the most interesting in Moscow. Personally, we walked here with pleasure. Even though at that moment two loaded bags hung on me.

Pushkin House

In general, this trip to Moscow met my expectations somewhere around 70-80 percent. I liked this city. But I can’t say that I just fell in love with him. In general, my impressions after this trip are a topic for a full-fledged separate article. So now I’ll round off (and so the text turned out to be very large). Bye, comrades!

Excursions in Moscow

If you yourself are somehow not used to walking around the Russian capital on your own, here is one more free advice. You can find many unusual copyright tours. There are programs for every taste, many of which will surprise even the indigenous people of Moscow. In addition, all excursions have a description, ratings and reviews of previous tourists. Pay attention to such nuances, and you are guaranteed to get an excellent tour and a lot of vivid impressions from exploring the city.

As confirmation - a small selection of excursions in Moscow from professional guides.

Apartments for a day in Moscow

It is believed that Moscow is a rather expensive city. However, compared with European cities or even the Baltic countries, housing prices here are very reasonable. Therefore, it is not difficult to find a normal option for a trip to Moscow. The main thing is to make sure that the housing you choose is in close proximity to the metro - without it, it is very difficult to move around the Russian capital.

Personally, Tanya and I during our trip to Moscow rented a large room in a huge four-room apartment near the Sevastopolskaya metro station. And at the same time they gave absolutely ridiculous money for her - something about 4 euros per day. Yes, I understand, now you probably all think: "What kind of housing is this?" Therefore, here you have, in which this apartment itself is described, as well as the way by which it was possible to remove it for only 4 euros per day.

In general, a modern apartment in the Russian capital, not far from one of the local metro stations, can be rented for 25-35 dollars per day. Of course, if you wish, you can find an apartment for a smaller amount. However, I repeat: it is difficult to move around Moscow without the metro, so it is very important that the option you choose is within walking distance from a particular station.

You can find the best options and get a small bonus when registering on the site AIRBNB. And do not forget that this site has its own discount coupons and promotional codes, by entering which you can reduce the cost of the selected housing by 11 or even 50 dollars at once with two clicks of the mouse.

Hotels of the Russian capital

There are also many hotels in Moscow. But, if you choose this option, be sure to remember that the same number on different sites can cost completely different! Therefore, it is best to look for options through search engines (for example, such as RoomGuru). These services allow you to compare prices in different reservation systems and rent hotels exactly where they are the cheapest.

Sometimes we just need to plunge into the atmosphere of freedom and relaxation. Moscow parks are best suited for this purpose, where a walk on the weekend is not only pleasant, but also useful. So where can you go for new powers?

Not so far from VDNH The main botanical garden. This is a real museum of nature. A lover of botany will be able to discover more than 16 thousand plant species there. And a Muscovite tired of traffic jams will be able to breathe fresh air for the whole week.

From Riga metro you can reach Elk Island. The name of the park reflects its main essence - there you can see moose in the natural environment. Usually this causes delight among the youngest guests of the park, so the whole family should go to Elk Island!

They know perfectly well where to go for a walk in Moscow, residents of Sokolniki. After all, one of the largest metropolitan parks is very close by. IN Sokolniki The whole range of entertainment is presented: from roller rental to a chic rosary. In summer, flowers are planted in numerous flower beds of the park. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

To the east lies Izmailovsky park. This forested area is rich in small clearings and ponds, where boat and catamaran rental is organized in summer. Two ferris wheels are installed at once in the park, you can shoot from a bow and a crossbow, ride bicycles and have a great walk.

Parks of the Southeast are more likely not for entertainment, but for relaxation. IN Kuskovo You can satisfy your thirst for knowledge. The park has several greenhouses, the Grotto and several other museum workers.

The recreation complex "Kuzminki-Lublino" includes two parks at once: Kuzminsky and Lublin. You should go there to breathe. As in two other wonderful parks: Kolomenskoye and Tsaritsyno. These are real islands of freshness among the industrial south of the capital, so when you come there, you feel real peace and tranquility. IN Kolomenskoye special attention should be paid to wooden architecture and churches, and in Tsaritsyno - to a beautiful fountain near the entrance. Do not miss the opportunity to swim in the pond in boats.

The Southwest is also strewn with a wide variety of parks. Novodevichy Ponds - this is a place where you can sit in silence by the water, admire the weeping willows. Pond in Troparevsky park It is not just an object of contemplation, but a rare place where you can swim in Moscow. Its shores in the summer become a real beach.

On Vernadsky Avenue is a walking 50th anniversary park of Octoberquiet and picturesque. Well, of course, everyone knows Sparrow Hills at the foot of Moscow State University with their famous observation deck, which offers a beautiful view of the capital. It must be taken into account that this is a tourist place, so you won’t be able to sit there calmly.

Well, in the West there is also where you can take a walk in Moscow. For instance, fili Park, a giant forest belt on the banks of the river, in the heart of which you can find cafes, attractions, and even an ancient fortification.

Krylatsky hills park and it is a reserve of world significance. Both the place itself and its inhabitants are of interest to science. And you can even drink water from the "Holy Spring"!

Serebryany Bor Park - This is one of the cleanest places in the city where you can swim, sunbathe, swim in boats and just relax from the hustle and bustle of the streets.

Well, and completes the review of a special park - Victory Park. This, of course, is a very beautiful and majestic place where the museum is located in memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War. The atmosphere of this place is saturated with the greatness of the ancestors. Everyone should visit the park, if only out of respect for their feat.
