We rested in this hotel in May 2008! We really enjoyed! The hotel is not bad, maybe a little old. But you forget about it the next day! The hotel area is excellent, green and very large, there are many palm trees, and the beach is one of the best! We didn’t leave the ocean at all, we didn’t swim in the pools (and there are 3 of them) even once in 14 days (we only took pictures once) =))) We lived on the territory of Sirenas, it seems to me that it’s quieter there than in Coral. There is a small construction going on...............we don't care...

Just recently, our company organized a corporate trip to Cuba! A total of 15 people went. We flew for a long 3 hours to Paris, sat there for 4 hours, then Paris-Havana for 10 hours, and the icing on the cake was the Havana-Varadero transfer for 2 hours at a speed of 40-50 km/h. The beach is great, the ocean is great. There seem to be enough sunbeds, but there are a lot of broken ones and you have to look for normal ones. It’s strange that all the sunbeds by the pool are normal. Beach bar nearby. Towels are provided on deposit. You can ride a pedalo and kayak for free. There is a volleyball court. Service is the same as everywhere else. If you leave a tip, there are no problems, everyone is efficient and does everything quickly, but without a tip they won’t take a step. The country is poor and backward. It's still just developing. And holidays in this country are not cheap. Therefore, it seems easier to me to allocate a certain amount for tips and get more or less good service so than none. Moreover, the most interesting thing is that hotels in higher and more expensive categories also cannot offer you quality service. I understood this from the reviews becausethat they thought that if the hotel was more expensive then the service would be better, but this is absolutely not the case. The food is poor. The food selection is small. Of course, not to such an extent that you leave hungry, but still, there is little choice to look for something to eat to suit your taste. Lunch and dinner are still ok, but breakfast is generally rather weak. Very bad juices, highly diluted. There are very few vegetables and fruits are partially unripe. Coffee from a coffee machine but also so-so. The coffee in the bars is better than in the cafeteria for breakfast. Three types of meat are prepared differently and not always successfully. There is no point in visiting ala carte restaurants. You can order lobster for an additional fee, but it’s not worth it because the portions are very small. Restaurant service depends on tips. In terms of alcohol, all rum-based cocktails are very good. We were warned about food, but in principle we are not picky and we eat little. And basically that was enough for us. But you can look for a hotel with a more varied diet, but naturally this will also affect the cost of the hotel. Speaking of spending. Our travel agent’s advice on where to buy things to save money was very helpful. He also suggested who to take excursions from. And he understands the hotel database very well. It took about ten minutes to select the options. His name is Dmitry Mir; it’s easy to find his page on the social network VKontakte. The number of rooms is old. Each room has its downsides. It's good that you can change the number if you don't like it. The staff as a whole is cooperative in this regard. Although they may say that there are no rooms that day, they will move you the next day. The furniture in the rooms is old, and even some are partially broken. Something may not work from the technology. If you want to get a room with a better view, you will have to pay extra. This is about 20 tr and as some write that they could have taken a better hotel itself, this is unlikely. To get a really better hotel level you will have to pay about 50 rubles more. In general, the rooms here are very old. Yes, and fly to Cuba for good rooms It also makes no sense or it will be expensive. Another problem is with the elevators. They were constantly breaking down. You can even get stuck in an elevator for twenty minutes. Well, this problem is common to most hotels. For entertainment, you can play billiards or table tennis for free. There is a tennis court. Mini golf course. The animation team keeps guests engaged all day long. You won't be bored here. Children's animation for children. Everyone likes everything. Well, another small plus is the location of the hotel. You can even walk to Varadero in 20-25 minutes, but you will have to go around the neighboring hotel, which is still under construction.
