Nanosy tourist complex. How we studied sediments on Naroch. Day one: horse show, bread from the oven and sunset at the mill. Accommodation: fairy-tale houses with sauna, stove and hostess

At a small distance from the main buildings of the complex there is observation deck, constructed in the form windmill. You can get here either on foot or in a horse-drawn phaeton. On the way, you can go to the orchard we planted, relax in the shade of the trees, and eat apples and pears.

The height of the mill alone is more than twelve meters, and it is located on a hillock. From its top you can clearly see all the surroundings, and both shores of Lake Naroch, including the entire territory of the Nanosy Peninsula, on which the complex is located.

Both at the top of the observation deck and at its foot, there are excellent views everywhere, in order to capture them in photographs. Have you noticed that plunging into the world wildlife, the smallest details are clearly etched in our memory? And so I want to photograph all this to show my loved ones, family, and friends. In Nanosy-Novoselye you will have not just a lot of such opportunities, but a lot.

It’s also great to take photos on the ground floor of the mill, where the museum of moonshine stills is located, of which there are more than fifty: from huge to miniature, from the simplest to incredibly complex designs. The bulk of them were made in Soviet era in Belarus. But there are older specimens. Having examined them, you will probably ask yourself: What was invented first by the moonshine still or the wheel? Each of our devices has some special feature. For example, one of them was mounted on a GAZ-69 car to move from place to place, escaping from police officers. And other devices have respectable origins: they stood on the tables of wealthy pre-revolutionary families so that guests could see that the alcohol served to them was fresh and undiluted. We also have “champion” devices - their product was recognized as the best in all of Russia.

By the way, literally three dozen meters from the observation tower you can see the bunker from the First World War. It is perfectly preserved, except for the damage caused during the fierce battles that took place on Lake Naroch in the tenth years of the 20th century.

Welcome to the Nanosy-Novoselye Ethnocultural Complex!

We left Minsk at 13.00 and already at 15.00 we arrived in Nanosy - Novoselye, where we were met by a girl administrator in national clothes and began our acquaintance with the complex with a horse show. And the first impressions are the scale of the painting on the wall of the indoor arena! This is hand painted!

The show lasted about half an hour, after the end you could come closer, take pictures and pet the artistic and well-groomed horses.

Then we went to move into our large two-story Bourgeois house! On the ground floor there is a kitchen with a real large Russian stove, a dining room and a bathhouse with a plunge pool (how cute :-), a shower and a separate bathroom. On the second floor there are four bedrooms and a bathroom.

Each house is assigned a hostess - a girl who will teach you how to use the stove, help with lunch and clean the house.

After lunch, Victor Moiseyonok was waiting for us to give us a tour of the complex. This man is a real treasure hunter and a master of his craft. In the Museum of Bread, where he immediately brought us, all the exhibits were collected by him. And he talked about each one very interestingly and captivatingly. In the photo below, Victor is holding a magazine with his photo on the cover, and this is not Photoshop!))) Brutal man).

The museum is located on the second floor of a water mill, where flour is ground and bread is baked in a real oven.

We tried this bread at lunch; tourists at the Museum are offered to immerse themselves in the process of making bread themselves, with their own hands.

Nanosy-Novoselye is a real village of 12 houses built in the style of the 19th century. The quality of the materials used and how the historical style of the buildings is maintained is amazing. Everything is done with soul and conscience!

The interior of the houses is quite authentic; you can find both outright antiques and modern things. A lot of attention is paid to details, there is a smell of wood, every house has a stove, a bathhouse with a plunge pool and a shower. And not a single house has a TV! Coming here, you are guaranteed to plunge into the life of our ancestors. In the mornings, roosters will wake you up, and from the garden bed in your small garden you can pick onions for potatoes baked in a real oven))

There are wells on the street and, of course, we all tried the well water! You can see from the photo who drank the most))

Near the houses there are fenced chicken coops, and rabbits live here and there!

The next point on our program was the Samovar Museum! This is a unique museum for Belarus; there are more than 500 exhibits on two floors and Victor can tell something interesting about each one! In the photo below, Arkady decided to perform some kind of folk dance))

Almost all samovars are the result of Victor’s search and restoration of exhibits; he made the racks for the samovars with his own hands.

On the territory of the complex there is also a park of vintage cars that you can ride in. We didn’t ride, we just climbed into the legendary Chaika with the girls and pretended to be members of the Politburo)) And the GAZelle sign, it seems to me, is no worse than the Jaguar.

After the old car park, we went to the pier, which is about three hundred meters from the complex. There is a yacht club there, you can go on a yacht or just go fishing on a boat. But we only took pictures while enjoying the natural beauty.

The highlight of the program was a visit to the Trophy House and meeting the owner of the complex, Evgeniy Novoseletsky. Judging by the hunting trophies on the walls and photos with monster fish, it becomes clear that this is a very passionate person who has traveled almost the whole world.

When I asked Evgeniy how much it cost to build this complex, he answered simply: It cost three and a half years of life. It is very difficult to realize that this is the richest man in front of you, the owner of the complex behaved in a simple manner, it was surprisingly easy and pleasant to communicate with him, we asked any questions, and Evgeniy made us coffee, refilled our beer and treated us to a local tincture - galangal. Arkady, for example, asked Evgeny if it was possible to surprise him with something? To which we, after a short pause, heard that no, it’s impossible. But if he fails to surprise the guests and vacationers of the Nanosy-Novoselye complex, then he will return their money.

Evgeniy has five children and, according to him, everything in Nanosy-Novoselye is done in the name of children. This complex was built for posterity, to preserve our history and introduce it to the younger generation. It’s enough to look at how thoroughly everything is done, how much love and soul is put into every detail, what kind of people work here, to understand that this is not just a commercial project.

The last point on our program was observation tower and the Moonshine Museum part-time. From there we watched a beautiful sunset and I almost cried from the emotions that overwhelmed me.

After such an extensive excursion, with a feeling of slight hunger, we went to our big house for dinner, and along the way we looked at the horses.

For dinner we had potato pancakes with mochanka, lightly salted cucumbers and moonshine)) Everyone was in a great mood, we joked, made toasts and rejoiced at the day.
And the next day, half of our friendly team went to Minsk (I was among them), and the other half received a huge portion of impressions from horseback riding and yachting.

I understand that it’s unlikely that I was able to convey half of the emotions overwhelming me through my post. Hence the title of my chaotic story)) You need to go there! The complex's website shows current prices for services. This is a luxury place and the prices for living in houses may surprise many, but take a closer look at

But first things first.

The unique ethnocultural complex “Nanosy-Novoselye” grew up on the territory of the Narochansky Nature Reserve - in the middle of the small village of Nanosy. They wanted to sell off the entire territory where the new landmark of our country now flaunts for dachas. But businessman Yevgeny Novoseletsky decided to create something here that would attract both Belarusians and tourists from other countries. Attract and make you fall in love with yourself.

Nanosy-Novoselye took three years to build. People who love and appreciate culture and history with all their hearts. And this is felt in everything: in every detail, in every screw. And especially in the hospitality in which we and other guests literally bathe when arriving in Nanosy.

Our acquaintance with the estate began with a horse show, which took place in an indoor arena. I've only seen something similar in the circus, perhaps. But here everything is perceived differently, because a little later we not only took pictures with the most beautiful horses, but were also able to ride them.

When we were escorted to check-in, we gasped in unison. I won't say anything. I'll just show you: our house. This is our home!!! A huge two-story house - at the complete disposal of six people :)

There are twelve houses in total in the complex: two huge ones - bourgeois ones and ten smaller ones - peasant ones.
Our house is decorated in winter style. Central location The entire first floor is occupied by a real Russian stove. And she is not just decoration. You can cook in it, and winter time- warm up.

We were greeted from the doorway by the caring hostess Tatyana. Her role is to keep the home clean and tidy, prepare and serve food to the table. At the same time, it does not interfere with vacationers. She came, did her business, put things in order, and left.
After the journey we were very hungry. But a delicious hearty lunch awaited us. When I saw all this food, I immediately decided to pause my usual proper menu and enjoy the rest. Arkasha immediately took the ladle into his own hands :)

After lunch we settled into our rooms. By the way, here they are. Spacious, comfortable. All furniture is made from natural materials. Everything is so real and atmospheric. And the cabinets in each room are a true rarity with greetings from the very beginning of the last century.

There are no mirrors or TV in any of the rooms. And there is no Internet either. This was done specifically so that a person would break away from his addictions and immerse himself in an atmosphere of peace, harmony, and tranquility.

Next, we were treated to a fascinating tour of the museums of the complex (there are five of them throughout the entire territory!), accompanied by a real treasure hunter and antiques specialist, Victor Moiseenok. He captivated us - a man of overwhelming charisma and a walking encyclopedia! He is so in love with his work that you could listen to him endlessly. He told us so enthusiastically about each exhibit!

First we visited the Museum of Agriculture and Life.

Then we went down to the bread museum. By the way, about bread. Here they bake it themselves and serve it to the guests. Moreover, they don’t just bake, but first grind the grain into flour in this same water mill, and then make bread from it. Delicious, aromatic, without a gram of yeast. During the day that we spent in Nanosy, I ate three loaves! I! Three! Just listen!

We drank some water from the well.

And we landed at the samovar museum.Today this museum has the largest collection of samovars in Belarus. There are more than 500 of them here. And all of them were mined by Victor Moiseenok. On the shelves, each of which he made with his own hands, there are a couple of copies before cleaning. Well, so that you can see in what condition they are delivered and to what shine they are then cleaned. As Victor told us, if we find two identical samovars, we will take one with us. But he knew that we wouldn’t find it... :)

Further along the route is the museum of vintage cars. All of them are in good working order, with technical inspection and running. Any tourist can take a car and drive it to their heart's content. Asya and I especially liked the disabled car:

And the “Seagull” - we hung out in it for about 15 minutes, wondering who could be driving this particular car.

After the cars, we walked to the end of the village and headed to the pier, where there was a fisherman’s house, a children’s playground, and a gazebo. In the distance you could see parked yachts - they are also at the service of vacationers. Yachting was not part of our plans yet, because we were moving on.

And then a real surprise and shock awaited us - the Trophy House. The central place in this house is occupied by a huge hall with hunting trophies obtained by the owner of the estate, Evgeniy Novoseletsky. While we were looking at all this with open mouths, Evgeny himself came to meet us.

And this is where the fun began. We talked with him for an hour and a half. Evgeniy willingly answered our, sometimes too straightforward, questions, talked about his complex, treated us to galangal, beer, coffee.

What I remember most is you know what? The love with which he spoke about Nanos. Arkasha asked him, why did you build this complex in Belarus, and not somewhere in Switzerland, for example. He says that he loves his country with all his heart, even though he has traveled all over the world. He admitted that it is difficult to surprise him with anything, but “Nanosy” was created so that people who come here will be sincerely surprised. And for those who cannot be surprised, the owner promises to return the money. I'm sure there won't be anyone who wants to get their money back.

Evgeniy also lives permanently in Nanosy, only occasionally traveling to Minsk or some other places. I think this also says a lot.

After a heartfelt conversation, Evgeniy gave us a short tour of the Trophy House. A spa complex with a huge swimming pool will begin operating here in August. In the meantime, a small private 3D cinema is available to vacationers. Isn't it cute? :)

It was nearing sunset, and we hurried to observation deck, which is located in the museum of moonshine and moonshine stills. By the way, a liter of local moonshine is included in the rental price of the houses. Liter per day :) When asked about legality, Victor said that there is a license for the production of moonshine.

On the way home, where a hot sauna was already waiting for us, we hugged the horses.

Home Sweet Home. Delicious dinner...

And go ahead and warm up. We didn’t take cameras with us, so I’ll show you what it looked like in daylight.

After the spa treatments, everyone scattered in all directions: some went to photograph the stars, some went to swim in Naroch, some (like Yulia and I) went to bed, and some continued intimate conversations.

Morning came early. With roosters crowing! I don’t even remember the last time I woke up with roosters.

View from our balcony:

Morning coffee in the fresh air.

We didn’t want to waste time sleeping at all, so with the first rays of the sun we went to the pier to admire the nature and take photographs.

And then - breakfast! Omelette made from local eggs and milk, cheesecakes made from local cottage cheese, pancakes, sour cream. Everything is so tasty and high in calories! :) It seems like I ate almost all the cheesecakes alone. And photos... They didn’t take any :(

After breakfast, there was a split in our group... The guys who needed to return to Minsk in order to catch other events were getting ready to go home. But first, a photo for memory:

And Asya, Sergey and I continued our #sediment_tour.

First - horse riding. Now you will laugh at me, but this was my first time on horseback. The horse they gave us was calm and friendly.

And then we went to Abramy - the farm that “feeds” the estate and all its inhabitants - both permanent and temporary. In Abramy they grow and make all the food, without exception, that is served to the table in Nanosy: meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products, vegetables, fruits. All without exception! Here tourists can buy clean, eco-friendly products to take with them. By the way, there are also houses here that you can rent to spend a few days in nature.
Many people come here to fish.

Having returned home and having had dinner, we first went to the neighboring house to fry potato pancakes in the oven...

And then - again to the bread museum. For fresh “copies”.

It would seem, what else? After all, we are already simply oversaturated with impressions!

Well, of course, water! A parked yacht was waiting for us off the coast of Naroch.

And for another hour we enjoyed the gorgeous views and clean air a few kilometers from land.

Meanwhile, on land, a car was already waiting for us, which was supposed to take us to Minsk. We left full of impressions and delight. We left with absolute confidence that we would be back very soon. Because it is impossible not to return.

Anticipating questions about prices. Renting a peasant house, which can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people, will cost 4.35 million per day for everyone. Rent of a large bourgeois house that can accommodate up to 8 people costs 11.2 million per day. This price includes three meals a day for everyone and sightseeing tour. On weekdays the cost is 30% less. More information about prices for the complex’s services can be found on the estate’s website.

Today I will tell you about our tour in more detail. With photographs by professional photographer Sergei Mashkun. So, #sediment_tour. Day one. Let's go!

There were six of us: Tanya Kurbat kurbatishka (my dear girl, for the fact that I spent a wonderful day and a half in best place countries - thank you to heaven!), Yulia Mukha juliley , Sergey Mashkun, Tanya Putyanina And Arkady Sobolev(pictured behind the scenes). With us is a man of incredible depth, a collector of valuables from all of Belarus. Victor Moiseyonok. You will hear from me again about this amazing man. It is worth a separate big conversation.

It all started when I, a stony-faced girl, was picked up opposite Chelyusktsev Park and taken to heaven. But then I didn’t know that the next morning I would stand in a poppy field overlooking Naroch and wipe tears of happiness from my face. Was driving Irina Demyanenko, marketing specialist and our guide in Nanosy, a wonderful girl who knows everything about the complex. And he talks with pleasure about his favorite work. We talked about blogging (photographer Arkady was keenly interested in this topic, we had to conduct a mini master class), laughed, and had some fun. In general, we arrived fun and taking off.

After the road between the pines, on which I had deja vu, and it seemed to me that now we would go straight to the Baltic, we got out of the cars and saw this. My jaw dropped. When a charming girl in a national costume made of natural coarse flax told us that this was our home, I thought: what have I done so beautiful in my life :)

But there was no time to think: a 40-minute horse show awaited us. I stood with my mouth open, rejoicing at every horse (all of them are infinitely beautiful and graceful), and when the donkey and pony came out (“What a dog looks like after such tall horses!”), I simply squealed quietly with delight.

After the show ended, you could go down to the arena, chat with the artists and take pictures with the horses. The girls and I rejoiced at every horse like children :)

After the show, a hot national Belarusian lunch was waiting for us in our chic Bourgeois house. There are two such houses on the territory of the complex ("summer" and "winter". We lived in "winter", from here you will understand why) and 10 communal or "peasant" ones, but they are in no way inferior in comfort to the Meshchansky ones. Everywhere there are several bathrooms, a sauna, and a real stove on which you can cook food. Every detail has been thought out: even the sockets and lamps are stylized in the 19th century! No plastic: wood, metal and a composition of sand and adhesive solution that creates a complete imitation of wood (fire safety requirements).

Each house is assigned a hostess who fully helps guests live here: she will help cook in the oven or prepare food herself (in case you don’t want to cook like your ancestors), give a tour of the territory and 4 museums located in the complex. In general, this is the person who is responsible for everything while you enjoy the silence, beauty and delicious air of these places.

This is Tanya Kurbat and I’s room:) After a busy day, we slept like logs on soft sheets.

We didn’t stay at home for long: our guide Victor was waiting for us. We got ready and went to explore the territory of the complex.

While we were walking to museum of rural crafts and bread, which is located in a working water mill, Victor told us that the complex was built for three and a half years by people who were in love with their work, with our history and land. Here is the mill.

We listened with interest to the exciting excursion from Victor, who himself collected things throughout Belarus that our ancestors used in everyday life. He can talk about each thing for a long time, showing how it works. A treasure trove of valuable information! “I don’t tolerate remakes,” says Victor. “That’s why they aren’t here.”

In the black and white photographs that you see behind us, there are photographs of daughters in 1922 in Glubokoe! There are Polish working scales from 1876, scales for large weights (wagi) from 1835 Goa and many, many other unique things.

The museum room has a living smell - bread and wood. On the second floor they bake sourdough bread, which is served to all guests. Marvelousdelicious! The next photo was taken by Julia :)

We pass the Lyakhovitsky mlyn of 1876, transported here. It is working, but it is not turned on due to strong winds.

We have the most interesting things ahead samovar museum. It contains more than 500 unique exhibits that Victor and other people collected throughout the country. There are no two identical models here.

Victor enthusiastically talks about each museum exhibit. If you wish, you can spend half a day here :)

I remember the rooster samovars interesting design. There are only 70 of them in the world. Three exhibits in the samovar museum in Nanosy. Here is the largest collection of samovars, not found anywhere else in Belarus.

We go to the souvenir shop. Victor captivates us, we bloggers :)) In fact, he is a surprisingly generous person. He gave each of us a coin (I grabbed a coin that was in use under August Poniatowski, the last ruler of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania!) and several paper notes (I now have money from 1905 and 1909).

Then there was retro car museum. The girls squealed with delight. Tanyusha and I sat in a real “disabled woman” and rolled around in the ministerial Chaika. All cars are running, of course :)

Next on the schedule was the Naroch embankment and the pier. There are no words for how beautiful and quiet it is there. You are left alone with nature, you breathe it in, you feel how nice and calm it is here. The owner of the complex has a fleet of yachts on which tourists ride (which is what Tanya, Sergei, and I did the next day).

After relaxation, he was waiting for us on the pier Trophy house and communication with the creator of this complex Evgeniy. Getting to know this man, peacefully communicating with him over beer, galangal and coffee, which he hospitably poured for us, became one of the most vivid impressions of the trip. Evgeniy is a man who built a complex for himself and his five children, he wanted them to see living history. Evgeniy traveled almost the whole world, from where he brought many rare animals (he is an experienced hunter and fisherman), but decided to create such a wonderful complex in Belarus. Thank you!

Having said goodbye to Evgeniy, we went to the observation deck to watch the sunset. This is also where fourth museum of the complex - moonshine stills:) I hung around the nickname, Victor told and showed. Our ancestors did amazing things!

As we watched the sunset in silence, we were filled with incredible emotions. I have never felt so good in Belarus, I say this with all seriousness.

After a bright, eventful day, we slowly walked home. Everyone had their own thoughts, everyone had a great time. We walked past the stables and once again hugged the beautiful horses.

And at home we had a delicious hot dinner and Ira waiting for us:) After a hearty meal (pancakes with mochanka) in a wonderful company of bright people who look in the same direction, we went to the sauna, and some went swimming in the lake and photographing the stars, but that’s another story story...

This was our first day at the Nanosy-Novoselye complex. I’ll be happy to tell you about the second one soon. I’ll just add that while I was writing the text, so much warmth and happiness was concentrated in my soul, so much bright joy for such a wonderful place in my HOMELAND, that I just feel very good. I smile :)
