Both locals and tourists consider the city one big museum, which you can walk endlessly. Interesting places are found here at every step, representatives of the Russian nobility left the Crimean resort a legacy of many beautiful estates and mansions. The royal family and aristocrats who loved to relax here built chic palaces, photos of which remain with every modern guest of the city.

In a separate group are distinguished, which are places of worship:

  • The Armenian Church, located on the street. Countryside;
  • The Roman Catholic Church on the street. Pushkinskaya;
  • Cathedral, consecrated in honor of Alexander Nevsky, on the street. Garden;
  • Temple of John Chrysostom on the street Tolstoy.

A separate story can be given to the description of each of the churches - the buildings have a long history associated with the legendary past of the city and Crimea. They differ in architectural styles, beautifully decorated interiors and shrines stored in them.

The pearl of the cult architecture of the city is called, built at the expense of the philanthropist in the early twentieth century. The appearance of the temple, made of limestone tufa, and its interiors, on which the best artists worked, are also attractive. Here
services and stunning music nights are held.

The main cathedral of the city is called. The construction of the building began in 1891, and its consecration took place in 1902. In addition to the building for worship, a church house and a parish school appeared. Before the war itself, the church was closed, but already in 1942, divine services were resumed here. From far away, its snow-white-pink walls and golden domes attract.

The townspeople consider another Christian shrine of Yalta, the construction of which began back in 1835. At that time it was the first stone building in the city. A chic place was chosen for him, so the church is clearly visible from the sea and from the Yalta valley. One of its first guests was Emperor Nicholas II and his family. The highlight of the appearance - five domes, tents, covered with gold leaf.

Yalta entertainment

It’s hard for any tourist who comes to this resort to highlight
what entertainment in Yalta to inspect in the first place, and which ones can wait. The main list includes Yalta Embankment and Nikitsky Botanical Garden. It is known that the first appeared in the city a long time ago, in 1886 (historians say). During this time, she managed to see many famous tourists, get framed by chic palm trees and curly lanterns, decorated in antique style, steps leading to the sea, decorated with wood.

The main attractions of the embankment are those built back in 1867 and recently restored, the buildings of the General Post Office and the former Tavrida Hotel, a lighthouse of the 19th century. Memorial plaques on the buildings and a 200-year-old plane-tree named after Isadora Duncan, who met Sergey Yesenin under his branches, will tell about the celebrities associated with this corner of the city.

Music lovers will appreciate a famous concert hall, however, concert prices cannot be called cheap. Satire fans will be able to explore (and free of charge) "funny" monuments-symbols, like or "Shirvindt Tubes."

A magnificent vacation awaits visitors, where thousands of varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers from around the globe are collected. An even more vivid impression will be made by a walk with an excursion, during which you can learn many interesting facts about plants, get acquainted with the rarest of them.

You can walk around the garden with the children, but even more interesting for young tourists will be at the original open-air museum, where amazing sculptures made of wood are collected. Today, excursions are held here, as many of the statues are heroes of national Ukrainian fairy tales, unfamiliar to travelers coming from other countries.

Not far from the park of fairytale heroes is a real one, whose inhabitants are rare and exotic animals. It began with a small, private zoo, now it has grown to enormous size and continues to expand. Now in this amazing corner of nature even the “Marine Aquarium” is provided. What is important, unlike many other similar places of entertainment, in this zoo animals can and should be fed, and still take photos with them. The entry and animal prices that you can buy right there are symbolic.

Any guide to the resort will tell you where the most important, popular attractions and attractions are located. Yalta loves guests and is ready to open for them all the best! We suggest you also watch a video about the most interesting places of the resort pearl of Crimea.

Today I want to talk about how I first came to Yalta. Ten years have passed, but time in this story does not matter. My mother and I arrived in Crimea, bought ticketson a sightseeing tour. When the excursion group was in Yalta, we had to pay money and join them. As soon as I unzipped my bag, I immediately realized that there is no wallet. I was robbed, and my mother and I were left without money. Imagine, even water there is nothing to buy!

Five years later I   met a guy   from Yalta. We started a relationship. Now I know the most interesting places of this warm city, because every summer we we are going   to his homeland.

Yalta city

Most tourists who first walk along the streets of the resort city, believe that wide promenadeand housing estates in the distance - this is all of Yalta. In fact, this is a large city that differs significantly from other resort towns.

Yalta is divided into three main areas: old city, where did the history of the settlement of the first inhabitants, the new city and Chekhovo, begin. Also, the city includes the village of Nikita and. Therefore, open space for walkingenough. But, if you are not interested in just walking around the city, I will name interesting routes.

Top places in Yalta where you can go

Hotels   - Do not forget to check prices from booking sites! Do not overpay. It !

Rent a Car   - also aggregation of prices from all distributors, all in one place, let's go!

I have been to Yalta many times. Arriving here for the first time, I was struck by nature: palm trees, mountains, the blue sea! It seemed to me that I ended up in Turkey, and not in the Crimea. Having plucked heartily into the sea, I went to explore the local sights. I’ll tell you about the most amazing places that I remember.

Where did I go to Yalta

Since I really like literature, I immediately found sights in the city guide related to great writers and books. Therefore, the first places I went to were as follows:

  • house-Museum of A.P. Chekhov;
  • historical and literary museum;
  • memorial museum of Lesya Ukrainka.

I will tell you more about these wonderful museums.

Chekhov's house

Seeing the house of A.P. Chekhov, I gasped. So he coincided with my ideas. Reading about the life of Chekhov, I saw him as neat and sedate. Therefore, no matter how much I come to Yalta, anyway, every time I go "to visit" Chekhov. I really like his house, saturated with some special atmosphere. Looking at his desk, I imagine Anton Pavlovich sitting thoughtfully with a pen in his hands ... "He probably writes the next chapter of The Cherry Orchard," I think ...

Chekhov moved to Yalta for health reasons and lived here until his death. After his death, his sister entered into the inheritance at home, and she kept the atmosphere in the rooms intact.

Yalta Museum of History and Literature

There is a mysterious atmosphere inherent only in museums. And create her antiques, such as:

  • photo;
  • archaeological finds;
  • household items and treasures of ancient peoples;
  • valuable jewelry and coins.

With the help of these unique exhibits you can get acquainted with the ancient history of Yalta.

Memorial Museum of L.Ukrainka

Lesya Ukrainka is a famous Ukrainian writer, who was especially touching in love with Yalta. And not only because the Crimean climate eased the pain in her bones, but also because Yalta gave her inspiration and strength.

The museum has a large exposition telling about her creative life.

Summerheat vacation! We urgently need to go somewhere and relax. For the third year, my mother did not go on vacation. Living in Crimea   most of her life, she has never been to Yalta. So I decided to give her a present. But my mother is very stubborn and did not agree. We love a more quiet and relaxing holiday. And for some reason she had a picture in her head and an opinion that in Yalta nothing to do. Allegedly there is absolutely nothing to look at and nowhere to go. Since I was in Yalta on several occasions, I had to arrange a brief overview of the most basic places that absolutely everyone who visits is obliged to visit to Yalta.

Still, where can I go in Yalta

In general, it’s not only one city, it’s also, parks adjacent to Yalta, the mountains, valleys   and a huge amount villages in its vicinity.

The most main placesto visit:

  • Beaches.
  • Zoo.
  • Glade of fairy tales.
  • Aquarium "Cube".
  • swallow's Nest.
  • Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
  • Embankment of Yalta.
  • Livadia Palace, Nikitsky Botanical Garden, Mansandra Palace   and ai-Petri cable car.

Most main asset Yalta   is her promenade. She's just incredibly huge and reminds broadway. Throughout its territory, beautiful exotic plants, situated fountainswhich are especially beautiful in the evening and at night. The embankment flows smoothly into Seaside parkwhere many trees and flowers. Together, they create a place for spiritual relaxation and beautiful photos.

In the center of Yalta   situated aquarium   entitled Cube. It is inhabited by various exotic fish   and underwater plants. Also have local zoowhere you can feed and pet animals, and phold in your hands and take a photo with little cubs or cubs. Near the zoo is Glade of fairy tales. It will be especially fun for children. Various sculptures from the world of fairy tales, green area and numerous contests and entertainment.

There is simply incredible beauty in the city. temples and cathedrals. What does the Church of John Chrysostom or the Church of the Intercession, Foros, the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the magnificent Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky.

This year my family and I decided   relax in Yalta, since I didn’t really want to go to foreign resorts, and the budget was very limited, crisis, what can I say. On the very first day of our stay at the resort, we were faced with the question of   what interesting can be seen in this city.   Fortunately, the people who lived with us in the hotel next door turned out to be very nice and happily told us about all   Sights of Yalta.

What to see in Yalta

I have to say right away that our vacation in this beautiful city dragged on for a couple of days, as there were much more sights here than we could imagine. All this is due to the fact that   many interesting places of Yalta are   not only in the city itself, but also in its vicinity.

Where to go with children in Yalta

If you are planning to go to Yalta with childrenthen don’t think that they will get bored there. There are many places in this city that will delight and surprise your little ones.

Firstly, I highly recommend bringing children to   a zoo called "Fairy Tale". In this place, I really liked the fact that at the entrance special food was sold for specific types of animals, respectively, it was possible to treat our smaller brotherswithout harming their health.

Secondly, despite the fact that in   Yalta has a sea, I advise you to go with the child to water park "Atlantis". Everything there is aimed specifically at family vacations, and there are special zones for children,which are decorated in the form of various children's cartoons. Also available   children's aquadar,   which is called "Seven seas".

And finally, the smallest kids should like a place called "Glade of fairy tales". The area of \u200b\u200binterest takes several kilometers, but with a guide you can explore sculptures of all fairy-tale characters   somewhere in an hour, and then independently return with the child to those places where he liked most.

Where to walk in Yalta

I will not talk about the competition - a separate topic. But about new Yalta   - yes. Why new? It’s just that I haven’t been there for 16 years, and that's new. First things first, I advise you to see, perhaps, the last of its kind surviving monument to Lenin.   The mayor of Yalta, in my opinion, made a very wise decision: to postpone the demolition of the monument indefinitely, so as not to injure the psyche of the elderly, for whom this monument means a lot. Well, young man, what can I say, an informal approach to the care of pensioners.

Walk along the embankment of Yalta   - This is akin to Deribasovskaya in Odessa, to miss is simply a sin. Hold on to the knee of Anton Palych Chekhov. Again, taking a walk in the streets, squares and open parks is also a holy thing. Though it’s not so pleasant to walk around Yalta - it’s all humpbacked, hilly, you can walk smoothly only on the promenade, and so, then uphill, then from the mountain. I can’t even imagine how local girls walk in high heels.

Parks in Yalta

You can devote a day to each park - and there will be little. All of them are unique and interesting, time flies in them imperceptibly, and I do not want to leave this tropical landscape gardening paradise.

On the southern coast of Crimea there is a beautiful place on the peninsula -. It is a unique territory where there are a lot of historical, natural and architectural monuments. Below will be considered the most significant sights of Yalta, photos with descriptions and addresses are also attached.
