MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. The number of victims in an accident with a passenger bus that overturned near Kerch ferry crossing in Crimea, reached 15 people. This was reported to TASS by the deputy head of the city, Dilyaver Melgaziev.
"15 people were taken to the first hospital. One woman was taken to the operating room, four people had broken ribs and bruises. The rest are being examined, pictures taken and everything else," he said.
According to him, there were children on the bus, they were also hospitalized.
Rescuers came to the aid of passengers and rescued people from the bus.
The regional Ministry of Health reports 10 victims, eight of whom are in serious condition.

The cause of the bus accident was a tire explosion, Elena Loseva, press secretary of the Unified Transport Directorate, told TASS.
“The bus that got into an accident near the Kerch crossing had a tire explode,” she said.
According to her, there were 50 people on the bus, eight of them were hospitalized. “All of them were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. All passengers were insured, and in case of an insured event they will receive insurance compensation. The amount of insurance payment will depend on the severity of the injury,” she said.
