We chose for a long time and now decided to try to live in Centara, while on Karon Beach, we already lived in almost every hotel, except Movenpick. The pool for children is just wonderful !!! There are slides, a cave, a waterfall, very good animators who entertain children !!! There is a large pool, where it is not recommended to come with children, it is for adults, but not because something terrible is happening there, but just so that people can relax, chat, drink cocktails, etc. The rooms in the hotel are ordinary, I can’t say that they are super modern or new, but also not killed !!! After a hot day, it was very comfortable to relax and enjoy sleep in the room !!!   I do not consider myself to be particularly picky tourists, I live in 3 * and 4 * in 5 * (see my other reviews).
  I will write a lot, so who is too lazy to read the main theses about the hotel I will give at the beginning:

Conclusions.
  The hotel does not meet the stated 4 *. It is rather a tired 3 *, or even 2 * (according to the Australians) in which they have not made repairs since the moment of construction. There is nothing in the room that obliges you to be in the real 4 * or 3 *! Of personal hygiene items, only soap and shampoo with shower gel. All! No disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste, or anything ... what is customary to see even in medium 3k.
  The whole hotel is in a similar state! Cracked, even 10 years ago, sinks in toilets ... the appearance of corridors, flights of stairs, other rooms that I managed to look into, and not only in our building. In short, the hotel is tired, and the "cosmetics" will no longer help him ... only the capital!
  This continues in the service, and in the helpfulness of the staff, and in the general condition of both the rooms and the rest of the buildings, including the pools. An exception to the general impression is its beautiful territory.
  In the epilogue I will say that the hotel did not justify itself. Its stardom is blown, and the rating is wound by "fake" reviews. Read English reviews from Australians and Britons of whom the hotel is full, and everything will fall into place;)

We are not fussy and not boring, and this hotel did not spoil our vacation much. Everything went perfectly! We visited several new places far from Phuket, which we hadn’t reached before, so we returned from vacation in a great mood!

The room generally has minimalism and a sporty atmosphere. Cleaned daily, and always at different times, you will not guess, cleaned by 3k, no more. An interesting moment! In the whole room there are only 2 sockets, and in one of them there is a kettle in the second TV! That is, either or ... or a telly or charging a camera or laptop. True, there are 2 more in the bathroom, so if you need to charge your smart or tablet, then go to the bathroom! The first time I see this)))
  With all this mediocrity, the hotel has a deposit of as much as $ 200!
  The air conditioner worked in other conditions as well, thanks for that. On the balcony there are 2 plastic chairs and a table, all the well-looked and from their original white color there are only memories.
  The hotel regularly turns off the electricity, literally every day, sometimes for 15 minutes, sometimes for a couple of hours ... judging by the "come" to Phuket, this will soon become the norm for the island, it is simply drowning in traffic jams. A couple of years ago this was not.
