In general, there are several types of winter slides: wild but very picturesque, unequipped natural slopes and artificial slides. To ride most of them, you just need to buy entrance ticket to the ice town. But there are also ice slides special design, where a fee is charged for each descent.

A separate type of slides are publicly accessible tubing tracks in city parks with “cheesecake” rentals. Hourly payment is practiced here. Special slopes are also being prepared for the winter season in ski centers. This winter, everyone under favorable weather conditions will be able to ride 39 slides in 28 recreation areas. Of these, two slides - at VDNKh and in the 50th Anniversary of October Revolution park - are all-weather. In 18 parks, sledding, tubing and ice-skating will be free.

On the site in front of pavilion No. 57 at VDNKh, a seven-meter long tubing slide “Shine” is open.

The slide is treated with a special all-weather coating. The whole family can ride the cheesecakes - five plastic-coated slopes operate simultaneously.

A platform for active family vacation will give visitors of all ages the thrill of riding cheesecakes. Children under 110cm tall must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 3 years old are not allowed on the slide. The tubes are lifted using a rope tow lift.

In Izmailovsky Park, traditionally, the “Forest of Miracles” site has its own tubing slide. Finding the site is as easy as shelling pears: it is located to the right of the Northern entrance to the park (3 minutes from Partizanskaya metro station).

Opening hours: weekdays from 12.00 to 19.00; weekends from 10.00 to 20.00. Monday is a day off.

You can find a good slide not far from home. Due to the natural unevenness of the terrain, many snow slides form in winter. Besides, local residents, of course, they know the places where the roller coasters “roll up” every year.

Long and fairly gentle slopes from the hill await guests in the area of ​​the Rostokinsky aqueduct. There are also icy slopes. And there are special paths for climbing.

You can also have fun on the slides formed with the help of ravines in Neskuchny Garden.

No one has been riding on a sled or on a cardboard placed under their butt for a long time - everyone has switched to tubing. We chose the Moscow roller coaster, which you can go down really quickly and fun - you can go there with your own tube, or you can rent it.

Gorki in Kolomenskoye

There are two natural slopes open for skiing here. For kids, a safe and fairly gentle slope on Nizhnaya Street is suitable, and for speed lovers, a steep descent closer to the central part of the park on Zelenaya Polyana is suitable. Another winter entertainment in Kolomenskoye is a ride on a six-seater inflatable “Banana”. This is the land version of the popular water attraction, where instead of a boat, children squealing with delight are driven along the alleys of the park by a real snowmobile.

Vsepogorka in Sokolniki Park

The largest slide in the city: the length of the slope is 200 meters and the height is almost 14 meters. In order to ride, you need to climb a slowly moving travelator (which is an adventure in itself) to the top of the slide, and then roll down with a squeal. If you have any energy left, you can check out the Ice skating rink, which is located a couple of steps from the slide. Children under seven years old are not allowed on the slide due to the possible risk of injury.

Food. Near the ICE skating rink there is a trattoria “Mercato” with a children's play area.

Ski slope "Novo-Peredelkino"

The base specializes in alpine skiing, but not so long ago a tubing track appeared here. The slide is small (its length is about 70 meters), with a turn. But you don’t have to worry about unsuitable weather: there is an artificial snowmaking system on the slope.

Climbing to the top here is a pleasure. You cling to the cable with a cheesecake and slowly rise up. If there are not enough slides, you can go on skis: in the “Slope” there is a children’s and youth school that accepts everyone from 6 years old.

Food. It’s better to take sandwiches and tea with you - there is no restaurant on the slope yet.

Kuzminki Park

In Kuzminki, cheesecake riding with friends can turn into a real battle. There are snow throwers and snow blasters available for rental, which help form snowballs and hit opponents with projectiles. You can try out the weapon on a wooden slide in the center of the park. There are three paths, 2, 4 and 6 meters high. You can also ride from a natural slope in the area of ​​Shebaevsky Pond. The park has trails for cross-country skiing and biathlon.

Food. You can warm up in the Besedka cafe, literally 200 meters from the wooden slide, or eat pizza in the Italian Mercato. Pancakes, pizza, and takeaway sandwiches are available in the mini-cafe next to the amusement park.

At the end of December, as part of the annual New Year's festival "Ice Moscow" (from December 29 to January 8), an exhibition of 40 ice sculptures and several tubing slides will open. For greater delight, it is better to come here in the evening - firstly, there are fewer people on the slope, and, secondly, a fantastic panorama of Moscow City opens from the top.

The tubing slides in the Muzeon art park opened at the beginning of December. They are still operating now, despite the above-zero temperatures outside. There are two tracks in total, 5 and 17 meters high. At the same time, at Muzeon they don’t so much ride as they wait: strictly one person at a time is allowed on the slide, and queues form near the stairs.

Food. A food court with hot drinks and pastries is open next to the tracks. You can eat at Shardam, which has a large games room and a huge children's menu.

Hill on Revolution Square

The most beautiful tubing slide in Moscow was installed near the walls of the Kremlin as part of the Journey to Christmas festival. The 7-meter-high slope is assembled from 1,600 ice blocks weighing 120 kg each. The slide is decorated with ice figures on the sides, and there is even a snow clock.

“Journey to Christmas” on an icy track, which is 100 meters long, takes a few wonderful seconds. This year the slide will have a four-slope slide, which means no one will have to wait long in line to ride. As before, the main city slide is built from transparent ice blocks brought from the lakes of Pervouralsk. A team of experienced craftsmen decorated its sides with ornate carvings.
