1. Location - on the shore of the lagoon.
They take you to the city beach by bus from 10.00 to 13.00 (it’s very hot, you can’t do without shade), there are no sunbeds or awnings on the beach. The only shade is from the awning on the playground, but sunbathing on the playground is not very pleasant, since children come to play with their parents and their dissatisfaction with the presence of vacationers on the playground is quite understandable.
Next to the hotel there is a fully functioning yacht repair company, that is, paint and other not very pleasant smells can be heard more than once.
If you want to swim in the Persian Gulf, with white sand and without seeing the edge of the reservoir, this is not your hotel.
2. Food - I can say for breakfasts for 2 weeks, menu for the week: boiled eggs, chicken sausages, potatoes, milk porridge, muesli, tea (no choice, bags are brewed in a two-liter container, if you are used to drinking a tea bag per cup - not it will work out) and coffee, pastries.
Changing the menu throughout the week - instead of boiled eggs - an omelette and 2 times noodles. IN walking distance There is no cafe, you need to go by car.
Nearby there is a fish and fruit market.
3. Room - no complaints, but we weren’t looking for it.
They are cleaned daily, shampoo and soap are replenished upon request (it’s easier to take it with you or buy it upon arrival).
An iron and hairdryer were provided upon arrival upon request.
4. Transport - the hotel is undergoing a LARGE ROAD REPAIR and it seems that for the next couple of months it will not end, but will only unfold.
If you wish to go to wild beach In the morning at 07.00-08.00 when calling a taxi there are problems, you need to walk from the hotel to the square, and then catch a taxi on the highway. At the time of our departure, construction had moved forward and we had to walk about 500 meters.
5. Free transfer - to Dubai on Wednesdays and Fridays (at 13.00 from the hotel at 21.30 from the Dubai Mall) and Ajman on Thursdays at 16.30.
6. The local population, of course, also rests in this hotel, mainly from Thursday to Saturday evenings, mostly Indians, we treated this normally, people also need to rest. During our rest period there was no inappropriate behavior on their part.
7. The hotel staff, in my opinion, does not make any effort to solve minor problems, such as taxis - it is unclear why you cannot leave the hotel directly for your own money, it can be solved - if you would like to communicate with the taxi service to the hotel management; transfer to the beach - it is possible to change the transfer time and make an additional flight both in the morning and in the afternoon, then drive to the beach for about 7 minutes; diversify the menu; instead of Ajman, transfer to Sharjah.
It seems that the hotel management takes pleasure in listening and reading unpleasant reviews, according to the principle - anyway, you rest for 7-14 days, rest and never come back to us, and other tourists will come to your room.....
The hotel is suitable if you are planning leisure, until lunch on the shore Persian Gulf and then travel. Not suitable for a beach holiday, as after a trip to the city beach, the impression of the body of water near the hotel worsens.
This is not our first time in the UAE, and this is OUR bad choice. If it’s your first time and you don’t want to spoil the impression of the UAE with its beautiful beaches and hotels, I would recommend choosing another hotel on the shores of the Persian Gulf itself (albeit a little more expensive, but a great holiday experience will be completely different).
But again, to each his own, don’t repeat our mistakes when choosing a hotel :).

The Pearl Beach Hotel in Umm Al Quwain is an example of excellent accommodation in a 4 star complex. It is located within walking distance of several supermarkets and sandy beach. And in 20 minutes you can get to more significant attractions. Among them is a water park, shopping mall and several universities in the city. Nearest international Airport is located in Sharjah. The path to it is 25 kilometers. The hotel has free secure parking and internet access.

This place offers a lot of possibilities, the main one of which is accommodation in a comfortable standard, superior or luxury room. Appearance The building immediately speaks of a modern design approach to the hotel. You can see this in the main lobby. But the key point is the rooms themselves, intended for guests. They are huge and bright. Warm shades of milk and chocolate fit harmoniously into the overall concept. The interior is laconic and homely. At the same time, there are many elegant elements that create a chic environment. A pleasant addition is the view from the windows of the surrounding nature.

The amenities in the Pearl Beach rooms are just as good. In addition to cable TV channels, there is a refrigerator and air conditioning. Some accommodation options consist of several rooms, including a living room with a seating area and even a kitchenette. All guests also have access to a private bathroom. Inside there are toiletries, cosmetics, bathrobes and slippers.

Food at the hotel is another significant point for many tourists. For the most part, the restaurant here experiments with Arabic and international cuisine. It works both according to the menu and according to the “ buffet" There is a separate buffet especially for children. For an additional fee you can get chocolate, fruit, champagne or water in your room. There is also a bar in the complex. People often order coffee or soft drinks here.

A huge number of services makes your stay here not only pleasant, but also comfortable. By prior arrangement, laundry or dry cleaning services are available. The rooms are cleaned daily. The reception desk is constantly open. Additionally, you can order newspaper delivery. They can also provide the purchase of tickets for various entertainment events and concerts.

This place is ideal for beach holiday. Location directly next to coastline makes it possible to get to the desired area in a matter of minutes. In addition to umbrellas and sun loungers, there are barbecue facilities. There is also a large outdoor swimming pool on site. It works all year round, allowing you to enjoy water procedures and sunbathe on a special terrace.

Leisure time in Pearl Beach will be pleasant, thanks to the presence of a fitness center, massage room and wellness salon. A variety of treatments for beauty and physical well-being are what you need for quality relaxation. You can also spend time here playing billiards or darts. There is a separate playground for children, fully equipped for active games and fun leisure.

The hotel is designed not only for entertainment, but also for business trips. The huge conference room can accommodate up to 200 people and hold any business event in complete comfort. They will provide visual and audio equipment that will be useful in working with demonstration materials. Additionally, you can use the services of sending and receiving faxes, as well as copying equipment.

Not a bad budget hotel.
Good afternoon. We rested in this hotel from 03/11/14 to 03/21/14. The tour was purchased through an online tour, tour operator "LABYRINTH".
The holiday was ruined by the incompetence of these companies. Let's start from the very beginning. There were four of us (3 adults and one child). The tour was paid for three months in a room in the main Superrior building. Always look at what is written in the contract and voucher. We paid for Superior (which is stated in the contract), but the office sent documents two days before departure, which indicated DE LUXE accommodation (bungalow - with a maximum occupancy of three people). And they did not try to quickly resolve the issue of correct accommodation, citing that they could There will be problems with plane tickets and your vacation will be completely ruined. There was nothing left to do - we were flying. Upon arrival we were met and quickly taken to the hotel. DASHA met us at the hotel. We immediately settled into bungalow 412, where there was one double bed, and they immediately brought another bed (there was no longer an extra bed for the second one). As a result, the three of us shared one large bed ("Thanks" to the travel agencies). To give credit where credit is due, they immediately brought an iron, hair dryer, ironing board and adapter (tea and coffee were already in the room). On the very first day of our vacation, Dasha arrived in the evening and announced that our room would be undergoing renovations and asked us to move us to the neighboring bungalow, 414, tomorrow. Well, okay, repairs are just repairs. The next day we left for Dubai on a free hotel transfer (they have a trip to Dubai on Wednesday and Friday, Friday in the Emirates is a day off by the way.) Having arrived in the evening, we were very surprised that our things were moved to another bungalow, including the contents safe. The room was ready to receive new tourists, but not for renovation, but we still had the keys. Approaching the reception, they gave us the contents of the safe (everything was sealed in an envelope with an inventory - money, passports). We were moved to the same room, but nothing changed in terms of living conditions. The next day on our old number new tourists arrived. And we still didn’t understand why Dasha needed to lie and make these gestures. (The next day she fled to Moscow, that’s what they said at the hotel and we never saw her again). This is one of the points for which we gave the hotel a 1 for accommodation.
The hotel is located by the lagoon (not by the sea), this did not bother us. Low tides, high tides, algae, you can go into the water. On the one hand there is a ship repair yard, we didn’t smell anything from there, as some people wrote and didn’t pay attention to it. On the other side there is a parking lot for boats, of which there are not many there. And on the same side there are fish and fruit markets. The hotel has two swimming pools, one heated (height 1.20 m) and the second unheated (1.80 m). There is an awning by the second pool - very convenient. Sun loungers, umbrellas, tables, barbecue - everything is at the proper level. A good gym, two locker rooms and each with a sauna. Everything is very close to the rooms and the lagoon shore. I left the bungalow and went into the pool. Bungalow rooms - TV, table, chair, two bedside tables, safe, wardrobe. Toilet combined with shower. The rooms were cleaned well and tea, coffee, shampoo, soap, and towels were added every day. This went on for about five days, then either they had a different shift of staff, or the sun began to get to their heads - the brakes started - they would leave one or two sheets for everyone, there were always four towels. If it becomes two or three, then they will forget shampoos and soaps. And so I went until the end to add sheets, towels and other small items. The staff is polite and tries to solve your problems as quickly as possible (Indians, Filipinos - something like that). They hardly speak Russian or English. The hotel is mostly visited by Russian speakers (CIS). What I noticed in ten days is that the staff doesn’t really bother with their knowledge of languages, and in ten days everything is also NOT BELMES. These are not only our problems with the language, I just saw how the Arabs tried to explain something to them and how it ended. So learn briefly all languages and signs. The food is good, everything is tasty, but monotonous, it suited us and we didn’t get tired of it for ten days. We took breakfast and dinner, you can change it without any problems. But we are all different. It’s easier when it comes to alcohol in this emirate - next to the hotel there is a wonderful store that specializes only in alcohol. The prices will surprise you, in a good way. What I liked about it: prices, assortment (beer, wine and stronger) and real promotions (I’ll explain - look carefully at the price tags and inscriptions: you take two - the third is free (mine personal purchase), you pay for five beers, but you take six bottles. Everyone drinks - Arabs, Hindus, local residents. regardless of faith and religion. In the evening you go into a store, full of Indians with full carts. Alcohol from Indian to European. How we took their alcohol home with us: I chose bottles that are sold in boxes, why exactly, all this is put into luggage in a suitcase, in a box there is less chance of breaking it, carefully lined with things and at the airport you check it in as luggage. Everything arrived safe and sound. Do you want to take a chance on hand luggage- depending on your luck, they may let you carry it, or they may force you to pour it out (more often pour it out). The hotel itself is clean and tidy, well-kept grounds, makes a good impression, two playgrounds, many people relaxing with children, laps by the pool, two lifeguards who really work and watch over you. The security made a good impression, I was watching him - someone else's car pulled up, straight to the driver, why and to whom. Several times I saw a guard walking around the territory, there were cameras. Every day transfer to the beach from 10.00 to 13.00. Bring towels and sunblock with you. There are no amenities on the beach. But what does it feel like when big waves. Transfer to Dubai - Wednesday and Friday from 13.00 to 21.00. Three stops - 1) Deira city center (shopping center) 2 hours on it (remember the way back to the bus - maps inside the center are in Russian) 2) Gold land (gold market, do not confuse it with Blu Suk, which is in Sharjah) 2 an hour - there is nothing interesting in the store, you can walk along their streets, where there are many shops - to feel the multinational flavor of their life (my glamor girls didn’t like anything. They thought this area looked like a ghetto). In fact, this is their life (I will attach a photo), not the center of Dubai. Dubai is divided into old and new. What do you want to see??
3) Dubai Mall - 3 stop (3 hours) from 18.00 to 21.00. Wonderful MALL. how it’s designed, the navigation inside is clear - at the entrance the dinosaur skeleton is huge, there are fountains, and then there’s a stunning aquarium (80 dirhams per person inside), parking, illuminated palm trees and the Burj Khalifa nearby (they didn’t bother going up). There was live music inside the center (a trio performed) - it made a strong impression.
We went to the Dubai MALL for certain equipment and found it, only more expensive than in Russia. I was looking for music discs in SACD and BLU-ray audio formats, gentlemen, they don’t have this. BUT they shout, THERE IS EVERYTHING IN THE EMIRATES. Yes, there are new items and other glamor, but not everything.
We ourselves went to the Emirates moll shopping center, it was very beautiful and seemed better to us than the Dubai moll, we went to the open fashion show Fashion show there, my wife was impressed (there will be a photo). Sky Dubai - winter behind the glass, spectacular, unusual, well done Arabs . As for the hardware stores, I liked Virgin, it’s beautifully decorated. The children wanted a PS4 game console; they found it in one of the centers for $530. But their school grades did not allow me to buy this miracle of gambling addiction. In general, this generation of young people can be called gaj wai faev. We came to relax, and since Wi-Fi was only at the reception, the children hung out there - kicking into the pool, onto the street, onto the sand. And many do this, not only in hotels - this is a worldwide practice. Taxi from Dubai Mall to Emirates Mall 50 dirhams. From the Emirates Mall by taxi in Um Al Quwain to our hotel we paid 179 dirhams. Take a municipal taxi - with a meter.
We took a ride on the metro - well, I probably liked it. We went to Dubai on our own to Nasser Square (old name). The new name is Basiar.
You can get there by metro. We walked from Nasser to the Creik Strait and took a ride on their boats to the other side (1 dirham per person). On the other side we came to the old market, felt the color of an oriental bazaar, it is small - it makes a good impression. There are a lot of expats in this area.
We took a taxi from the hotel to Sharjah (60 dirhams). We looked at the square with the Ferris wheel, with shops and the AL kasba strait, (excuse me for my English and some incorrect spelling of the names of attractions) - it’s better to go after 17.00. More beautiful and start working after siesta. On foot within an hour we reached the “trains” - the gold market (BLU SUK). Go to the strait embankment and walk to this market. See Sharjah. The gold market and the carpets on the second floor did not attract or impress us.
We took a hotel transfer to Ajman (Thursday - Sunday from 16.00 to 21.00), not to the city itself, but to a small shopping center. You will pass it very quickly and start wandering around. You can take a taxi into the city to explore it or go to the market while waiting for the bus.
We got to good discount in the Pier Karden department, we bought a coat and a shirt for $250, but everything cost more than $1,000. Real discount -70%. For the first time in all this time, I saw a real discount in the emirates.
Sometimes we went to LuLu for groceries, very tasty juices.
We also visited the outdoor water park Dremland. We bought tickets at the hotel - they were cheaper than there, according to them, they didn’t check (80 dirhams), it seemed to me that they gave us a coupon code. We got there by taxi - 30 dirhams. Take towels and water with you, otherwise you will buy there. There weren't many people there, the water park itself was green, not all the slides were working, but most were working. In general, my impression was that the water park was falling into disrepair, sometimes the bricks were coming off on the path, sometimes there was some paint missing, there was rust, it might not be noticeable, but I saw it all. In my presence, next to the large pool where the waves are blowing, the water park workers caught a small snake. There is food on the territory of the water park (fast food), lunch for us cost about 100 dirhams for three. Alcohol is sold on site in the bar (a little expensive - the child wanted a bottle of beer and ice cream - 40 dirhams).
Plan your day ahead. It is better for main events after 15.00 when the heat begins to subside, but not all shops can open. They mostly work after 17.00 and until night (siesta). FRIDAY is a day off, why am I celebrating this? In Nasser Square, most shops are closed until 15.00. I was there, drinking beer, but this does not apply to all stores - they also want to make money, before 15.00 we already bought something in Nasser Square. Leave the hotel on Friday - why??? U local population day off and where do you think they are organizing a celebration of life, of course, under your bungalow by the pool with a feast, maybe quiet, maybe not, and swimming in the pool. Preparation begins in the afternoon or in the morning. In short, wait for Friday and it will come to you!!! They bother some people, and make others sick. Everything depends on you. And for this I also rate the hotel for its accommodation - 1. YOU DO NOT THINK ABOUT VACATIONERS.
Overall, the holiday was a success and the hotel was not bad for three stars.

The very next day, I understand that I probably haven’t described everything and will add a couple of lines to make it interesting and useful for you.
A taxi from the hotel to the Lulu and Manama supermarkets costs 5 dirhams. It will be easier to go back from Lulu. You can walk to Lulu in 40-45 minutes. Look at the shops on the ground floors, you can buy some souvenirs cheaper there than in Dubai and Sharjah. If you catch a taxi on the road near the hotel, look at the taxi driver (if he inspires confidence in you and can at least explain things), ask for his phone number, you can negotiate with them for a cheaper ride, for example, on your own to Dubai.
I was lucky with this, I thought I would give you the phone number, but I hid it all somewhere. They can take you and wait and everything will be cheaper. Go to the reception and ask to dial his number and they will call you, all this is free. One day they came up to the reception and asked us for a taxi to Dubai - they immediately charged us 200 dirhams, we said “goodbye” and agreed on the road with the taxi driver for 100. Always bargain. The roads are beautiful - they fly low and fast. I think you understand me.
Exchange - somehow there was no local currency (1 dollar - 3.66 dirhams). At the reception they wanted to change us 1 dollar - 3.50 dirhams. We went to a liquor store and they changed us 3.60. - everyone is more cheerful, and the exchange rate is 3.66 dirhams per dollar.
Tea and coffee - we thought we'd bring it, something exotic and original. You are wrong. They have less tea than we do and everything is standard. Coffee - look how much ground coffee in a package costs, at first we bought one pack for 18 dirhams 250 gr. (Lulu). And right where they sell nuts, they have grain, and the prices are 200 grams. It will cost you 6 dirhams. We selected different grains: black (strong), green (Arabic), and medium roast.
BANK CARDS - I come home and understand that the bank took a lot of money from me (the account was monitored through the Internet bank). There is such a concept as conversion, and when you pay for purchases using a card, you are asked for dirham or dollar. If the dollar is one conversion, and if you say dirhams, as they said at the RUSS.ST-T bank, this is already a double conversion (first they convert to dollars, and then to rubles). Here it is (deleted by the moderator) I calculated that I had to buy some bucks with this money and not worry about it. The card is a debit card, so we can say that purchases have become more expensive. With cards, sooner or later, some kind of thorn comes out - that's on you.
Nasser Square - why did you decide to stop, what if it helps someone, I’ll tell you an episode, we just arrived - we get out of the car (damn, you’re still having a siesta), three or four people fly up and begin to show off their photos with goods: madam, do you want fur coats, bags. watch. But they don't offer me anything. They waved them aside. So called
"barkers" If you go with him, add 20-30 percent to your purchase. We start walking, some people don’t work until three on Friday, but there are some who work (I already wrote). You go to their shops and start choosing and bargaining. Ask a question immediately ORIGINAL ?? For example, they immediately told us that these are very good fakes, but this is the original. There was one “barker” along the way - well, I say, show off and brag about your goods (bags - watches). He led us through gullies and streets. We went into some entrance and rode up in a shabby elevator. We leave on the 3rd floor - there is only one African on the floor sorting out a checkered bag. A characteristic smell. My wife and eldest child are in slight shock, the little one is interested, but this situation makes me laugh, I expected about this all. And the Indian jokes, “MADAME IS WORRIED.” The caller rings the doorbell “Sim-Sim open” - we entered a room, several rooms and everything hung neatly as if on display: clothes, bags. I didn’t like anything, there is a monitor in the room and four cameras that show who came to their floor, safety comes first. Haha. We went to the floor above. Everything was the same, only the product was different. This is their trading life, I understand this perfectly well, but my impressions are simply super from what I saw. After about twenty minutes I pumped out the rest of mine from what I saw.
My glamor girls expected glitz and chic only from the Emirates.
