In one of the previous reviews we talked about.

Each vacationer has his own idea water activities. For some, it’s enough to just splash around in the pool with clean water. Well, there are also extreme sports enthusiasts who absolutely need the highest water slide in the world to be completely happy. Every year there are more and more such entertainments in the world and the roller coasters are getting higher. The bulk of such entertainment is located overseas, but in Europe there are several attractions that can easily be classified as the highest water slides.

Spain, VertiGo attraction

In 2013, the tallest capsule slide opened in Benidorm, Spain. The height of this slide is 33 meters, but there is also a lower one nearby - for those who are afraid to immediately climb to such a height. The first daredevils who dared to try such entertainment were simply breathtaking from the sensations. Some shouted, others crossed themselves, others simply closed their eyes so as not to see everything that was happening. This is not surprising, because the speed at which a person rushes down a special capsule is about 100 km/h.

On the opening day of the slide, there was a crowd in the pool a large number of people who wanted to see the faces of those who dared such an adventure. Inside the capsule, under the person’s feet, there is a special hatch that opens upon a signal from the attraction worker. An instant - and the extreme sportsman is already flying down, and the speed of the fall is constantly increasing. Before tourists were allowed on the slide, it was tested by rescuers working in this water park.

UAE, Dubai, Jumeirah Sceirah

The Middle East also did not want to lag behind, and a capsule water slide was built in the Emirates, which is in no way inferior to the Spanish attraction. After the vacationer climbs to a height of 33 meters, he will have to rapidly descend along a plastic chute at great speed. After the initial acceleration, it seems to the tourist that everything will go smoothly further, but somewhere in the middle of the journey he suddenly falls down, almost in free fall. This section of the slide is the most attractive for thrill-seekers.

During the entire period of operation of this attraction, no accidents were recorded on this slide (except, of course, for the loss of some swimwear on the way down).

Brazil, Fortaleza, Insano water slide

This attraction is not only the tallest water slide in the world, but also a Guinness Book of Records record holder. It is located in the Beach Park water park, near the Brazilian city of Fortaleza. Its name Insano means crazy, and one cannot but agree with this. The height of this slide is equal to the height of a 14-story building (41 meters). Not only is it very high, but the descent along it is almost vertical, which adds even more extreme excitement to tourists. During the 5 seconds that the descent lasts, a person reaches a speed of up to 105 km/h, and this is the speed of a speeding car.

After a successful descent, the vacationer has the opportunity to watch a video of his adventure, and even take the recording with him as a souvenir. Such footage can be watched over and over again. True, access to such entertainment is not available to everyone. Pregnant women, children whose height has not reached 140 cm and people with cardiovascular disorders are strictly prohibited from entering the attraction.

Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Mount Kilimanjaro

This water slide fully lives up to its name (Kilimanjaro is the most high mountain Africa). Anyone who wants to ride from such a mountain is asked to cover 50 meters in 5 seconds. The maximum speed achieved during the descent is about 90 km/h. The attraction's employees keep their own statistics and claim that one in twenty visitors does not dare to overcome this path and goes back down. Not everyone has the courage to dare such a risky act.

United States, Kansas City, Verruckt

The tallest water slide in the world recently opened in the USA at the Schlitterbahn water park. The height of this attraction is almost 52 meters. She surpassed in height and Niagara Falls, and the Statue of Liberty, although there are not so many desperate daredevils ready to descend from such a height.

A spiral climb consisting of 264 steps leads to the very top of the slide, where those wishing to ride are seated in four-person rubber rafts and tightly tied to them. During the first tests of this attraction, engineers were unable to ensure that the sandbags (they were tested on) did not come off the slide and did not rise into the air. For greater safety, the chute itself along which the descent takes place is fenced with a mesh. This is really necessary, because the speed at which the daredevil descends is approximately 120 km/h.

On this moment The world's tallest water slide is closed. Unfortunately, a child recently died on this attraction. Full details of this incident are not yet fully known, but there are rumors that he was thrown from the front seat and broke his neck on the upper guard of the chute. There is no official version yet, but the mere fact that a 10-year-old teenager was allowed onto this attraction is already a matter of jurisdiction. The fact is that entry to this slide is allowed only from 14 years of age.

It is still unknown whether this water slide will open again or not, but this incident will cool some hotheads of some extreme sports enthusiasts a little. After all, for a good rest it is not at all necessary to climb to such a height and risk your life.

An ideal vacation is a concept that everyone understands in their own way. For some, relaxing time on the beach is optimal, while others get real pleasure from an active or even extreme vacation.

The heart beats faster, with every second a huge portion of adrenaline is released into the blood, and meanwhile the brain seems to turn off, but the colorfulness of the sensations does not decrease from this! Believe me, you will have enough impressions for many years if you dare to conquer the largest water slide in the world!

Summit Plummet

In a water park called Disney Blizzard Beach, which is located in Florida, there is one of the most extreme water slides - about 37 m in height. Despite the fact that the summer here is always sunny and quite hot, those who want to go down from Summit Plummet will find snowdrifts at the top and along the entire route, because of which this attraction looks quite unusual and more like a ski jump. But since the snow is artificial, the likelihood of frostbite is reduced to zero.

To climb Summit Plummet you don’t have to make any special efforts - for this there are cable car. And if the climb is easy, then it is at the top of the water slide that you will have a very hard time. Why? Because you need to have nerves of steel to sit in a narrow chute, let go of your hands and... experience the incredible feeling of rapidly falling down at a speed of 100 km/h. Ready? Then Summit Plummet is waiting for you!

For more than 15 years, this slide bore the proud title of the highest water slide in the whole world. Its height is 41 m and it is located in the water park, which is named Fortaleza Beach Park. And if you have planned your holiday in the Brazilian resort of Fortaleza, then you simply have no right to pass by its luxurious attraction, which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records.

Insano is a water slide that not everyone dares to slide down. Its descent is almost vertical, and its height is equivalent to a 14-story building. Anyone who dares to climb to the top of this Brazilian attraction will be able to learn what a bird's eye view is and fully enjoy the surrounding landscape.

But the view of the coast and the port city is not the main thing! You are at the top and now you should gather all your will into a fist and make a real flight down. Its duration does not exceed 7 seconds, but due to the enormous speed, which is about 105 km/h, the sensation is incredible! In this short time you will experience amazing, incomparable feelings!

Verrückt

But the biggest dose of adrenaline awaits you in Kansas City, where the Verrückt water slide awaits all crazy people in a park called Schlitterbahn. Only real daredevils are able to agree to this adventure, since this slide is not only the highest in the world, but also one of the most extreme. By agreeing to this flight, you get several pleasures at once:

  • a fast ride on a water slide;
  • an incredibly designed track that twists and turns like rails on a roller coaster;
  • amazing turns that make you fall down and immediately soar up.

And all this happens at incredible speeds that reach 120 km/h. The highest section of the Verrückt water slide is 52 m. And if compared with famous buildings, then, for example, the Statue of Liberty will be half a meter lower than this attraction. The same can be said about some other world attractions, such as the Tower and Niagara Falls - they are also inferior in height to this amazing water descent.

To reach the top of the Verrückt slide you will need to climb 264 steps. At the top, risk-seekers will find rubber rafts, each of which can accommodate 3 people. And then only a dizzying flight from the height of a 17-story building and another 180 m of incredible extreme sports! Moreover, the first fall is not the only one - immediately after it you will be lifted to a height of about 5 floors and carried further along a narrow and, as it seems to many, endless chute.

Do you want to tickle your nerves? Then you're on to the tallest water slide in the world!
