On the top shelves.

The higher, the cheaper. The upper bunks in a compartment with such a discount are at the same price as a reserved seat. The standard discount on the upper bunks is 10-20%, and with the promotion up to 40%. Mostly such promotions take place on regional trains.

Discounts on tickets to Europe.

For those wishing to travel by train to Europe, there is a separate discount program. These are directions from Moscow to Nice, Paris, Prague and Vienna; from St. Petersburg to Prague and Vienna. For children under 12 years old the discount is 50%. For passengers over 60 years old (Senior fare), and from 12 to 25 years old (Junior fare) - a 30% discount. For mini-groups of two to five people - 20%. An even larger discount (35%) will be available to newlyweds within a month after the wedding and birthday people a week before and after their birthday. Tickets for the upper berths of second-class cars on trains from March 15 to April 26 can be purchased with discounts of up to 40%

From March 15, train passengers long distance formations of JSC FPC (a subsidiary of JSC Russian Railways) can purchase travel documents for reserved seat carriages on long-distance trains with discounts of up to 40%. The promotion is valid on domestic trains departing from March 15 to April 26, 2017.
