We rested in this hotel from September 28 to October 7, as a family with two children aged 3 years and 8 months. I’ll say right away that we had a good rest, as good as you can have a rest with small children)

Flight approximately 4.5 hours: there Ural Airlines, the flight was delayed by 1.5 hours. On the plane they gave us water, but no food. They took off, flew, and landed perfectly. We had to pay for seats next to each other at check-in. As the receptionist explained: the computer does the seating automatically. For some reason, he seated me and my children in row 20, and my husband in row 30. We paid $6 per seat to be seated next to each other in row 20. Row 8 was offered for $16 per seat, supposedly it was more convenient there. Then, during the flight, we found out that both rows 8 and 20 were equally inconvenient; there was a couple sitting behind us, who also paid for seats next to each other, but upon boarding, their seat was corrected and it turned out that they would have to fly separately. As a result, they switched places with the girl who ended up with boarding pass in place of her husband, but they themselves already solved the problem. Airline employees answer the question: how did this happen? They replied that they were not solving anything. A very strange policy of the company, apparently calculated on the fact that “people will pay,” especially since there was a whole line at the ticket office “who wanted” to pay for their time together on the plane. Upon arrival, you filled out the migration cards, both halves: one will be torn off, the other will be left for you, and will be taken away when you fly home, so save it so as not to fill it out again.
Back azure. Everything is great here. They didn’t pay for anything) they took off 10 minutes earlier, they provided drinks on board: water, tea, coffee, Sprite, Fanta. The whole flight process was also excellent.

Check-in: arrived at the airport at 19:00 local time. In Tunisia, minus two hours from Moscow. It took 25 minutes to get to the hotel. So fast that the anex tour representative barely had time to rattle off her introductory speech. Our hotel was the first to be dropped off; almost all the bus passengers got off. Welcome cocktails in the lobby and fill out a form. We paid the fee and were charged $15 from two adults. Does not apply to children under 12 years of age.

We took a family room and paid extra when booking the tour. At first we were given a room on the second floor in a building without an elevator, I asked to change in a building with an elevator or on the first floor. Otherwise, how would I be dragging around with a stroller and a child, because my husband won’t constantly accompany me. As a result, we were given cards for 2 rooms on the 1st floor and ordered to look and choose. One had mold on the ceiling, the second turned out to be standard. They gave us two more cards, one did not open the door, the second room had a shower, we saw that there are family rooms with a bathtub, a shower with a younger child is inconvenient. There is also no balcony on the 1st floor, there is a small terrace with two chairs. I have two children and there is no place to wash and dry things there. And they showed the rooms in the building as if outside the hotel area where the staff lived. They said that they no longer have a family name anywhere. I say: don't lie, I know what it is. She explained that we specially paid for the family, that it took two days to get to their hotel, that the children were asking about the sea, and where it was not visible, a view of a noisy road. They whispered and said to come tomorrow. We spent the night in a room on the 2nd floor and came to them after breakfast. They gave me a look at two rooms inside the hotel, next to the reception and restaurant, swimming pools and the beach - everything is close. They said that yesterday the guests had not yet left. We chose a room with a bath again and everyone was satisfied)

The room was huge, about 50 meters, but tired. There are tiles on the floor, it was hard for me and my youngest to let her crawl on the floor, because she moved around and endlessly banged against it. The bathroom is separate, the door to the toilet is inserted so that when opened it rests on the toilet. There is a safe in the room, about 25 dollars for 10 days, we didn’t take it. But valuables were not left unattended in the room. We have not heard from anyone about thefts during vacation.

Cleaning - the floors are wiped, but without fanaticism, the beds are made, but the linen is never changed. Towels were changed upon request, otherwise they were simply rolled up and put on a shelf. With children and their endless stains it is very noticeable. Well, there is sand everywhere: on the floor, in the bed, in the bathroom... the corridors there, on the contrary, have carpet, but they sweep them, without a vacuum cleaner, there is sand...
This was disappointing, but did not spoil the holiday experience. These are little things that we took lightly)

The food is fine. Quite varied, I definitely didn’t have to go hungry)
Pasta, mashed potatoes, chicken, cutlets, pizza, French fries, watermelons - no problems with the eldest daughter.
Our youngest doesn’t really eat “human” food yet, she mostly eats her own “baby” food, which I took from home for her. But she let me try fruits and purees...
Neither we nor the children experienced any adaptation with food.
By the end of the holiday, as usual, my eyes were already full and my husband asked for borscht, and I asked for rolls, but that’s normal. Various meats and fish.
The cooks and waiters carried food endlessly, that is, it was not the case that once something ran out, everything was replenished instantly as soon as the tray was empty.
Two things were upsetting: tea and coffee in the restaurant only in the morning at breakfast. They were in the lobby bar at a different time, but carrying sweets from the restaurant to the lobby to drink tea was not an activity. And second, between lunch and dinner you can only eat pancakes or donuts, fruit at the rooftop bar. There was no other food. And there was no tea there either. Only coffee.
Be sure to have lunch at the beach bar. It is during the day that the sea is a magical emerald color, the view from the bar is gorgeous, directly affects the atmosphere of the meal) It’s not as varied as in the main restaurant, but it’s also delicious.
We did not drink strong alcohol and did not try alcoholic cocktails. We tried wine, I didn’t like it, the French drank more rose. Canned beer at the beach bar costs 6 dinars per 0.5 glass, but it tastes better than what is bottled.

The beach and sea are wonderful. Towels are provided by card. You fill out an agreement that if you lose it, you pay a fine and are given cards that are exchanged for towels.
There is a very comfortable climate for families with children. It seemed to be hot, but with a light wind, and therefore there was no heat. My husband always burned, since he is light-skinned, his shoulders will definitely burn. And here he was tanned, but not burned, although he and his eldest hung out by the sea and the pool from morning until lunch every day.
One big minus is the animals on the beach.
It’s like being in a free zoo - we saw horses and camels... but they do their dirty deeds right there on the beach. And instead of admiring the beauty of the sea, you had to look at your feet, watch your child so that no one gets dirty. Very long distance coastline, where people walk, and horses gallop and camels waddle... It’s very strange, considering that the sea and the beach are the highlight of Djerba, the bread of the Tunisians, so openly negligent about the cleanliness of the beach and sea.

There are as many as 5 swimming pools in the hotel: one at the central restaurant, the second at the water park, very long. Children's pool with children's water park and sun roof. Pool with sea ​​water between buildings. And there is an indoor pool.

There is animation in the hotel, they speak positively about it, but it so happened that my youngest child and I were always looking for a place away from the noise and I didn’t really encounter it.

My husband went to the capital of Djerba by taxi to buy souvenirs. Taxis there are state-owned, pay by meter, you can catch a car on the street. The round trip cost him about 16 dinars, that is, less than 6 dollars.

The hotel staff do not speak Russian, only general, standard phrases. But I completely agreed with them in English. I didn’t notice any bias towards Russians, as many wrote in the reviews. There were a lot of French people, everyone was friendly, and they endlessly squeezed our youngest. Finally, we took a photo with her as a souvenir. Some requests like changing a light bulb, setting up the TV, a second card for the room - everything was agreed upon in English and everything was without problems. They try very hard, very pleasant experience from the staff.
The hotel is mostly French, with a few Germans, Czechs, Poles and Russians. The main contingent is people of retirement age, or entire families with children, grandparents. There are many Russian vacationers who come to this hotel not for the first time; there are those who come for the sixth year. They say that there are a lot of foreigners who also meet from year to year.

Hello everyone, we bought a tour 4 months in advance, the reviews about the hotel were excellent and the photos were beautiful, we were happy with the purchase, but 2 weeks before departure bad reviews began to appear, but we simply did not look at them and spoil the mood, we are going on vacation!
Anex tour will start with the “wonderful” company, they moved our flight from 05:35 to 11:05, and the departure itself took place at 11:45, we lost half a day, well, we found this as a plus, upon arrival at the hotel We were immediately seated, despite the fact that we had half a bus with us, and we were also offered soft drinks, which made us very happy. And then the most interesting thing began... they moved us into old number 3133, although it is located far away, there is a very convenient access to the pool with a bridge and a restaurant, note above the restaurant on the Terrace there is quite good Wi-Fi, but few people know about this, so the location did not bother us that much, but The air conditioner was dripping in the room, we asked to sort it out 3 times, no one did anything, so we just put towels on the floor and didn’t pay attention, there was also no TV remote control, but after asking at the reception they immediately brought it to us. There are also catastrophically few sockets in the room, or rather there are 2 of them!!! Of course, the towels are not perfect, the bed is also not clear, but it can be survived.
Restaurant: the food is monotonous, the ice cream is terrible, there is no choice of fruits: apples, pears, watermelons, melons, sometimes peaches or nectarines, they were sorted out in 2 minutes. Hot meat, fish, fresh chicken, no taste, fries so-so, mashed potatoes with potato wedges, dry pasta, as if it had been standing for a week, !vegetables! I haven’t seen anything like this in any hotel in the world, it’s impossible to eat, the tomatoes are already sour, the cucumbers are flabby, weathered, the olives are spoiled, etc. Pizza can be eaten at times, and at times it is very tasty. Desserts are monotonous, there is not much choice. We only drank water, the juices were terrible! Coffee from the machine in the morning is not bad. And now a separate conversation about washing the tableware and cleaning the tables: to remove crumbs from the table, the waiters simply turn over the tablecloth... in previous reviews they wrote that they only collect cups on the beach, but they are collected due to a large shortage. One day we were standing in line at a bar at a swimming pool with a bridge and observed the following picture: one of the bartenders was washing the glasses, he simply emptied them and that’s it, then I realized why I was drinking water that tasted like various other drinks! But this is not the worst situation yet, one day when we were lying on the beach, the bartender walks around and collects glasses, goes, goes, stops at a trash can, takes out a glass from there, puts it in others and moves on, I think you don’t need to explain the algorithm for subsequent actions...
Attitude of the staff: she smiled at the cooks, they were happy, but the waiters were very annoying, I personally don’t like it very much, they constantly called us for a cup of coffee, asked for contacts on social networks, etc., although they were made to understand that we didn’t like it. The attitude towards the French is really completely different, I had a case when a Russian family occupied 3 sunbeds, put their things down and went to get towels, while they were gone for 5 minutes, a man with a security T-shirt threw their things onto one sunbed and 2 others took it when the family arrived, the man went to investigate, to which he was told that booking sunbeds in this way is prohibited, so the sunbeds were not returned, and at 12 o’clock a huge family of Frenchmen arrived and it became clear to everyone who occupied the sunbeds, they were also the only ones who could take out food from a grill bar on the beach, etc. Also, in front of us, the French animators talked with the French about the Russians, that there are too many of them, etc., we’ll go into a little bit French. In general, I didn’t like the attitude towards Russians in this hotel most of all!
Animation: Everyone rave about animation, but for me it's weak side hotel, the animators seem to be trying, but not to their full potential, there is no fun, no excitement, they came up and said Good morning, gymnastics in 5 minutes and that’s it, there’s absolutely no desire to go there, the evening show is certainly something, I’ve never seen anything like it anywhere, there’s some kind of dancing almost every day, or a comedy show, not particularly interesting, a foam party is also just fun to enjoy at night in the pool there is foam, the animators don’t ask you to dance, and they don’t dance themselves, I’ve never seen this in any hotel in different countries.
Beach: the beach is not bad, the sea is clean, except for the algae, but they are cleaned every morning, we walked along the sea very far, our beach is the best, only there are few sunbeds, there are sorely not enough of them, people from the pool even bring them. The only abnormal people who ride a parachute, at 12 o’clock in the afternoon, they swim behind the buoys where people are swimming and may not notice the people who are swimming, I really didn’t like this. Also, if you go into the sea closer to the grill bar there are a lot of stones, at first you regretted not taking corrals, but if you go to the left there are almost no stones. So, take the kids closer to the camels. By the way, we didn’t see any horses swimming in the sea, apparently we were lucky, although we left the beach at almost 7 pm and arrived at 6-7 am to get good places.
Money: don’t change a lot of money, as there is nothing to buy, we didn’t buy at the hotel, but went to the store to the left of the hotel 4 minutes, which we later regretted, it turned out that it was more expensive there than at the hotel. So be careful, we only bought oil, spices, cactus jam (not tasty). The sellers are not pushy; they are very far from Egypt in this regard.
Territory: the hotel is not big, we thought more, dirt, a lot of dirt, cleaning is so-so, straws are lying everywhere, napkins, there are tons of bulls on the beach, and this is the work of mostly the French! There is WiFi, but not strong, I caught it at the reception, and on the terrace by the pool, and in the restaurant on the street, and at the pool with a bridge, and even on the beach.
I will say this, I have been to many hotels, mostly they were 5 stars, but there were also 4, but this hotel is a weak 4, I would return here only with a super last minute and cheap ticket, and then if there was a choice of another hotel, I would choose another one. Djerba did not make much of an impression, the sea is not bad, but everything else....
And now additional information about departure: we flew to Djerba with Domodedovo Azur Air, 2 days before departure we decided, just for fun, to go and see where the departure announcements would be posted and there was information for tourists departing 2 days earlier, they changed the airline, installed Nord Wine , who have strictly 20 kg per suitcase, it doesn’t matter even if you have one suitcase for 5 people in the family! While Azur Air has a norm of 32 kg per suitcase per family. Naturally, therefore, we normally arrived with one suitcase weighing 24 kg. Having seen this advertisement, we found our guide, she said that the flights were changing and they could also supply us with a Nordic wine and then we would have to look for another suitcase, as they have large fines for overweight. But we were lucky our flight was not changed, and I told all this so that people would be prepared for such an outcome, since most of the people who left the hotel with us had one huge suitcase for the whole family.
Further, our Flight was at 7:50 in the morning, we arrived at the airport at 5:30, our bus was the second to last one, getting off the bus we saw a huge line to ENTER the airport! This has never happened anywhere. We stood in this queue, but the queues for this day did not end there, then we stood for 1.5 hours to register, despite the fact that the queue behind us was still 2 times longer, and all because there were 2 windows working for a Boeing of 360 people , only at 6:50 they opened 2 more, registration started and we went to passport control, there was an even longer queue, as all flights departing there different countries, we stood there for a very long time, it is clear that our plane had already taken off a long time ago (at 7:50) and the main thing is that the hotel workers were absolutely in no hurry, they talked to each other, went out to drink coffee after 5 minutes of going to work, etc. Of course, we didn’t have time to buy anything for duty free. On the plane, the pilot asked for forgiveness from the passengers, explaining that they were negotiating with the airport and asking to speed up the landing procedure, etc., but they did not react at all, in the end we took off at more than 11, and were supposed to at 7:50, this was our fault airport, not an airplane! Terrible airport, ruined the whole impression of Tunisia! I think my review will help someone make the right choice and possibly fly to another country or a higher level hotel
