In total, 24 trains of the CPPK will be canceled, and 15 electric trains of the company will depart later at night on January 1 and 7. Most changes will occur in the express schedule Yaroslavl direction railroad.

For example, daily train No. 6059 Pushkino - Moscow will depart 40 minutes later at night at 0:27. And the train number 6676 Moscow - Monino January 1 and 7 - later at 1 hour 40 minutes (at 1:50). Express number 6677 Monino - Moscow on New Year's Eve will be released at 0:09 - 58 minutes later than on other days.

Among the most popular places New Year's Eve - the streets of Moscow. Yes and then, in new year holidays few people stay at home. Muscovites go for a walk at the Christmas Journey festival, go ice skating on giant ice rinks and slides for tubing, skiing and sledding ... Helps them in moving around the city public transport, which works these days on a special holiday schedule. What is it and where not to go by car, RG found out.

On Tverskaya only on foot

"Journey to Christmas" gathers in the capital thousands of people who are not afraid of either frost or slush. A dense crowd of people walk along the sidewalks of Tverskaya, moving from site to site, looking at the light installations that adorned Moscow. Tverskaya - from Triumfalnaya Square to the Kremlin - is given to pedestrians for five whole days. Local overlaps in one lane will begin tomorrow, December 29th. And then the main street of the city, as well as Mokhovaya, Okhotny Ryad and almost all adjacent lanes, will be completely blocked - this will happen on the night of Saturday, December 30, and will open only on the third of January. On the last day of the old year, all approaches to Red Square will also be closed, including Varvarka, Ilyinka, Bolshaya Moskvoretsky Bridge. Cars will be allowed there again only on the third day.

Metro all night

To get to the center on New Year's Day and on days of overlapping, of course, the easiest way is by metro. This is the second time the subway will be working all night on December 31, without a break. As the head of the Moscow Metro Viktor Kozlovsky said, trains will run on the night of January 1 at intervals of 3.5 to 10 minutes. The Moscow Central Ring will work on the same schedule. That is, having met the New Year and listening to the chimes in the center of the capital, it will be easy to return home.

By the way, Muscovites began to receive gifts from the subway a week before the New Year. Two thematic trains were launched on the Circle Line.

Land transport will go on New Year’s - only 168 routes will be worked out until the morning.

But on Christmas Day, January 7, metro trains will extend their working day until two in the night, and 174 ground transport routes will go.

Who is out of town?

Adapting to the New Year and trains. Their schedule changes for all holidays, and starting from December 29. According to the press service of the Central Suburban Passenger Company, due to the fact that there are fewer passengers, part of the trains are canceled during the holidays. From December 30 to January 7, they will go on a Saturday schedule, January 8 - on a Sunday schedule, on the ninth, everything will return to square one.

In addition, on New Year's Eve in some directions, the last night electric trains depart from the stations an hour later.

In the Leningrad direction, which is serviced by another carrier company - the Moscow-Tver Suburban Passenger - from January 1 to January 8, all electric trains, and “Swallows”, and ordinary ones, will go on a weekend schedule. All changes have already been downloaded to the applications with schedules - "Electric trains" and "Yandex. Electrics", you can also watch on the website of Russian Railways.

Directions will rise in price, but not by much

Going on a trip, do not forget - from January 2 in Moscow the prices for travel change - a trip to Troika will go up by one ruble, instead of 35 rubles you will have to pay 36. Subscription prices will rise by several tens of rubles. But insignificantly - the maximum price increase is 3.8 percent.

But electric trains, as promised by Maxim Dyakonov, executive director of the CPPK, most likely will not go up in price next year. But in the first half of the year the company is going to finally release an application through which it will be possible to buy one-time travel tickets, which will save passengers from having to run to the ticket office each time - today 70 percent of tickets sold at ticket offices and machines are single-use.

By the way

And on the first of January, turnstiles will be removed in large buses with an accordion. Instead, a validator will appear at each door. The city also promises to tighten control. In total, according to Mosgortrans estimates, 60 bus and 15 will work without turnstiles tram routes. Removing turnstiles will speed up the journey for each passenger by an average of 5 minutes.
