Good afternoon
We would like to share with you our impressions of our honeymoon at the Grand Hyatt.
The hotel is wonderful!! The area is wonderful!! During the day, the Grand Hyatt hotel amazes with its colors, at night it is simply mesmerizing! The sound of water under the window, goldfish, birds, monitor lizards, blooming magnolias, dim light, burning bowls of fire. . .It’s hard to explain, you need to come and visit here once!
The beach is good and clean.
During low tide, the water does not go very far (low tide is somewhere after 13:00), at this time many came with children, because... for them this was the most comfortable depth. During high tide, a lot of garbage was brought in - the hotel staff cleaned it up very quickly. At low tide, we walked along the beaches closest to the Grand Hyatt - it was very dirty, and the water went very far.
It is worth noting that we had no problems finding a free sunbed. Instead of umbrellas, there are mango trees on the beach - very cool!
The room is wonderful! Comfortable bed, sofa for relaxing, small dressing room, iron, ironing board, kettle. Shampoos, gels, conditioners - everything was of good quality, there were even threads and needles. By the way, we had the most inexpensive room overlooking the garden (3138). It was the 1st floor with a balcony and a pond with goldfish.
In the mornings we drank coffee listening to the singing of birds, the sound of water and watched the swimming of fish and sometimes monitor lizards.
Before our arrival, they prepared a bath for us with rose petals and magnolias and also gave us very good and fragrant salt and foam. The room was cleaned to a solid standard of 4. If you tip well, they will bring you 4 bottles of water instead of 2, the quality of cleaning is the same. Every day they brought a large bowl of fruit free of charge. In general, we were very pleased with the room.
Wi-Fi is free. Nice. Breakfast is good: everything is always fresh and tasty. I can’t say that they were very varied, but they weren’t boring either. The waiters keep order very well. At the end of our stay, many Chinese people arrived at the hotel, so we had to wait for a free table. The staff is quite pleasant, but not all of them were friendly to Russians (and there were almost no Russians there), as our guide explained to us - the Grand Hyatt has American service, so the people working in this hotel are different from the employees of other hotels. Our familiar Russian tourists, who spend half their vacation in Ayodia and half their vacation in the Grand Hyatt, noted that the staff in Ayodia is much friendlier. Only one girl at the reception speaks Russian.
We were met at the hotel with a very tasty welcome freshly squeezed drink (a small thing, but a nice touch), and were given 1 hour of biking around the hotel and dinner at the hotel. By the way, the dinner was wonderful: buffet - king prawns, crab meat, mussels, all kinds of exotic fruits.... Everything was at the highest level. During dinner, all guests watched a very unusual and vibrant performance of “Rama and Sita”, and at the end they could take pictures with the artists.
For lunch and dinner we went to the village of Nusa Dua (10-15 min walk), the cafes are very popular among Russians - Kakadu, Laguna, Tropicana. Bali Collection also has them, but in the village the prices are lower. Bali Collection is located a 2-minute walk from the hotel (by the way, there are not the most expensive souvenirs there, we found the cheapest souvenirs next to Tonah Lot, if you go there on an excursion, feel free to go to the market nearby, people willingly bargain there, the price can be reduced by a percentage by 40 (if the product does not have a price tag)). I definitely recommend going to the Japanese restaurant "Matsuri", walk about 4 minutes from the hotel (to the right of Bali Callection), be sure to visit this place and try what rolls should really be like. The place is expensive at the current rate, but it's worth it ($6 for 6 rolls, but the rolls are huge). I also strongly advise you to visit the PRADA massage parlor, it is in Bali Collection, there is also in the village of Nusa Dua, but in the village the prices are a little cheaper. There are salons that are cheaper, and others that are more expensive, but for me this is the best. I simply squealed with delight from their massage, the technique of all masters is similar (neck + head + shoulders massage - 7 dollars for 30 minutes, 2 hours of Balinese full body massage - 17 dollars). If your choice is the Grand Hyatt hotel, I advise you to walk to Waterblow (min 15 walk), the place is amazing, there are such waves!
We would also like to recommend the wonderful Russian speaking guide Janek (+62 812 3959 983 you can write to him on WhatsApp). He will always help you with everything, tell you everything, show everything. With him you will have the most extraordinary excursions, the most best places on romantic dinners. Three of us went with Janek, he charged us 120 dollars per day, if there were more people, the cost would have been less. Janek, getting to know tourists, immediately understands what to offer them so that they are satisfied. We would also like to recommend a cheaper guide ($60 per day, for 3-4 hours he charged us $20) Aria (+62 821 4491 3047, you can also write to him on WhatsApp). He good guide, also speaks Russian, but with him you will have to look for information yourself: there are standard excursions - here he will show and tell everything, but if you want something exclusive, it is better to spend money and contact Janek. Both guides drive good cars with air conditioning (the price I wrote above already includes a car).
Back to the hotel... The Grand Hyatt is an amazing, quiet place, you feel like you’re on another planet. The atmosphere there is sooooo relaxing: all the time I wanted to lie down and enjoy the views: gardens, beautiful pools, Indian Ocean. I wanted to spend more time at the hotel, which is not typical for us. If your financial capabilities allow, I advise you to stay at the Grand Hyatt, or at least stay in a cheaper hotel, and spend the last days of your trip in this stunning place. Good luck to everyone and have a wonderful holiday!

In general, we found it for much less money Best offer(bright, large rooms, etc.), they came for us and checked us in in the morning (not after 14-00) with a choice of the room we liked.. There are tons of hotels, you go and choose, a lot of villas for 4 - 10 people.

The island is cool, low season - not hot. There are few Russians in Haite, to the Russians in Kutu.. Very similar to Tai, but the proximity of Australia and white management makes Bali a little more civilized. People can deceive everywhere, even in a good store by making more purchases)), it’s always fun.

The local slogan is - Believe Chip Mister, Massas, Taxi and Shoppink, Maby Tomorrow))...

Good luck to all,

Dmitry Ya.

Very good hotel, not luxurious, but... The rooms are not very large, but cozy. Is located in beautiful garden, almost in the center of the village of Sanur. Very few Russians!!! Ideal for lovers of a "European" holiday. The pool is small. The beach is spacious, but swimming opportunities are limited by frequent high and low tides. The spa center is not bad, but not for Muscovites, we are used to the best... There are many restaurants, places to eat, and the prices are quite reasonable. There is something to have breakfast!!! There's even fruit!!! The same cannot be said about many other hotels on the island. The service is very good, the only negative is the cleaning of the rooms. They clean twice a day, but only superficially.

I don’t agree with the description of some that the hotel is super, excellent rooms, this is clearly written by representatives of travel companies who need to sell a tour, well, I can’t say anything bad about the hotel. There are pros and cons, the hotel is not for everybody.

On the plus side: the hotel is very old, more than 20 years old, very nice area, everything is surrounded by greenery, if you take it Ocean number view, then you will be accompanied by a stunning view, with a strip sea water and the surrounding greenery, the building is buried in greenery, squirrels are running on the balcony, early in the morning you watch the sun rise, you can see hotel workers sweeping the sand on the beach, Europeans are riding bicycles along the paved path, someone is out for a morning jog! The sun floods the strip of beach, and you sit on the balcony, in the shade of the surrounding trees and palm trees. There are few Russians, it is very quiet, the vacationers are mostly elderly Europeans, this hotel makes special offers for them. It’s always quiet and at any time of the day, there are no noisy parties, peace and tranquility everywhere (this is not for those who like a relaxing holiday, for me this was only a plus)

But we met one couple there who had vacationed in this hotel for the 3rd time already, so choose a hotel according to your preferences and tastes!!! In my opinion the hotel is 4****

We flew on an AN plane, we thought we wouldn’t make it, the smell was disgusting, everything was falling off, it was a nightmare. And this lasted for 12.5 hours. At first glance, the hotel looks very nice. Friendly, smiling staff and cozy rooms. Large territory and very beautiful nature. Squirrels, birds and little geekons (lizards) are running around. In the evenings in the cafe a jazz singer sings very well with live accompaniment. Breakfast is quite decent, but monotonous, after a few days it gets boring. There are very few Russians. The ocean is very far away due to low tides from the coast, so if you want to swim, you need to go to Kuta.

Very good SPA treatments at Bali Hyatt, not cheap, but worth it.

You should definitely visit Bali at least once in your life!!!

Bali Hyatt meets the 5* category requirement in many ways. Very beautiful tropical garden, beautiful shore. Wonderful service, several restaurants. Good breakfasts. SPA from Bali Hyatt is one of the best in Bali! It's worth a try!

The hotel is located in a quiet and cozy place Sanur. There is a special Bali atmosphere here, with many inexpensive restaurants and cafes. This place is perfect for families with children, newlyweds and for those who want to spend their holidays in peace and quiet.

Among the shortcomings of the hotel, it is necessary to highlight the condition and size

I liked the hotel. Beautiful grounds, beautiful green garden, very clean. The beach is white sand, which is constantly cleaned. At high tide you can swim in the clean, warm ocean. At low tide, you can walk along the ocean, see starfish, urchins, etc. (shoes are required). The room is cleaned 2 times a day. I liked the pool. Great time!!!

THE WHOLE TRUTH ABOUT BALI HYATT!!!

We just arrived from this hotel, and believe me, everything there is far from the same as in the photographs!!! Friend, comrade, Photoshop has done its job, and in principle, there is no deception... but in real life everything is shabby, dull, faded and shabby...

There are cold tiles on the floor (similar to Sapdep tiles in public toilets), the shower in the bathroom is terribly uncomfortable, the built-in antediluvian air conditioner has no comment at all... all sorts of insects are constantly crawling onto the balcony...

Room cleaning is just one name...consists of changing linen and towels..the floors are not washed or particularly swept...

It’s impossible to swim... you can only sit in the water... (including during high tides) - the water is hot to the buoys... but the beach is thoroughly cleaned throughout the day..

The territory is indeed well planned, the garden is large and beautiful... in the evenings snakes crawl out... so be careful where you step, because... the lighting at night is dim... it’s not exactly the hour...

Breakfast is exactly the same every day. Restaurant menus are not particularly bursting with a variety of seafood... There is no Russian menu, but even with excellent knowledge of the English language, you will not guess what they mean by the word shrimps... really shrimp or an incomprehensible cutlet in breadcrumbs, with the smell of a crab stick...

(We had a unique case: we ordered hot crab and shrimp and Bolognese pasta to our room. They brought spicy green pasta and a bowl with a colorless, tasteless, incomprehensible substance that looked like paste).

Massage on the beach...nothing to say...at all...neither good nor bad...no way...

The spa is very pleasant and relatively inexpensive.

The staff is polite... not stressful...

There is only one conclusion - this hotel can hardly reach 3+, and where they got 5* remains a mystery!

Perhaps the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua is truly 5*, as befits a Hyatt hotel chain (it’s a buck more expensive than the Bali Hyatt in Sanur).

Tips to ensure your vacation isn’t ruined once you board the plane:

You shouldn’t fly Transair and eat there;

Don't go to this hotel;

You shouldn’t be under the open sun at all, and even more so when the sun is in the clouds...get charred in the moment! And no creams will help with any degree of protection!!!

Do not eat unwashed fruits;

It is worth carefully counting money at exchangers;

Have a great holiday in Indonesia!!!

The hotel is located in a small fishing village on the shore of the bay. Complete relaxation is achieved on the second day of your stay. A very beautiful and peaceful place. The hotel grounds resemble a botanical garden. Breakfast (European and Asian dishes) takes place on the open terrace next to a pond with fountains and fish. Two once a week the hotel hosts barbecue dinners with national dances. Squirrels live on the hotel grounds, if you put pieces of fruit on the balcony parapet, you are guaranteed pleasant guests. The hotel beach is well-groomed, but in the sea a large number of algae, but it’s like that everywhere there. The advantages of the hotel include the small number of Russian tourists; mainly Australians and Japanese vacationers. If you miss the Russians, go to Nusa Dua for $10 by taxi. You can rent a car for a day for 40-50 dollars, the driver will take you wherever you want. Ask for a taxi meter in the lobby, they have meters and the fee is charged by the number of kilometers. The service at the hotel is impeccable. The staff is polite, smiling and good-natured. For those who have children, you can take a nanny, they do not let children off the hook, in Bali there is a cult of children. The pearl of the hotel is the SPA, the best in Bali. The pleasure is not cheap, but it is worth it. Sessions are held in separate bungalows .Lie in the open air. you are being massaged. the birds are singing, the music is playing, you are taking milk baths. A fairy tale! I especially recommend the Ayus Lomi procedure with pouring oil into the third eye area and a relaxing massage. You feel yourself afterwards. like a baby. The spa is so popular that you need to make an appointment in advance. In general you will get wonderful holiday, because you deserve it!

First of all, when buying, tourists look at the well-known name HYATT. but about this hotel I can say that in my opinion its main disadvantage is that the rooms are very simple and a little old! but according to my information they have no plans to update them any time soon! The area is really very nice, big and beautiful! It's a little more economical than the Grand Hyatt, which is completely legal because it's simpler! By food - choice good, and of course the most luxurious thing about this hotel is the SPA center!!! there is an amazing SPA-villa, you can rent for the whole day, I highly recommend it!!! The service at the hotel is at the highest level!

As for Sanur, the village itself is small, but tourists do not immediately understand where everything is night life! there is also a small promenade along the ocean, where there are many different restaurants on the shore with VERY low prices!

If you are interested, please contact us.

Luxurious hotel, wonderful spa center, very beautiful garden.

In my opinion, the coast of Sanur is not inferior to Nusa Dua, and the cost of tours is somewhat cheaper.

My wife and I were in Bali in October 2012. There were no problems with the departure from Moscow, the flight (the flight was long, almost 12 hours), with the meeting and accommodation, everything was as agreed upon when ordering the tour. We read a lot of reviews about the hotel in advance, thanks to everyone who wrote, in general everything corresponds to reality, everyone liked it. We lived in a club room. In general, we were satisfied with everything, although the hotel is not new, everything is quite neat, clean, nothing falls apart, everything works in the room. The staff is friendly and everyone is respectful. They cleaned well, the bed was made, the linen was changed, tea, coffee, sugar, cream, bottled water were delivered to the room every day (I left a small tip every day). The shower in the bathroom is not comfortable, without a hose, it is attached to the wall, and you have to get used to adjusting the water temperature with the taps. Gorgeous garden, you live like in a forest, the birds sing, the squirrels run, they come to the balcony, we fed them nuts. The beach is clean, there are enough sun loungers for everyone. It really wasn’t a good idea to swim in the ocean, there were always low tides, and there wasn’t much water at high tide either, almost always the water was knee-deep or waist-deep, just go further away and sit in a hole, for your health and soul. I swam in the pool once (when there is an ocean and a normal beach nearby, you don’t really want to). The food is generally okay, although not very varied. There are no Russians in the hotel (or almost no). There is no person at the reception who speaks Russian; you can communicate with the staff only in English. The hotel always has peace and quiet, just what we need for relaxation after our everyday life. If we have the desire and opportunity, we will go here again, relax and unwind!

I should probably start my review with the fact that in June 2012 I visited the Bali Hyatt 4* hotel for the third time. I really like this old hotel located in the heart of Sanur. Of course, this hotel, like any other, has its advantages and disadvantages. There are more advantages, in my opinion.

Accommodation.

The hotel, as I wrote above, is old and that says it all. A hairdryer, for example, is screwed to the wall and is shaped like a vacuum cleaner from the 70s. Moreover, it works properly in three modes. The bath is small. A rubber mat bashfully covers the chips on the bottom of the bathtub, which we unsuccessfully tried to paint over with oil paint. To drink tea, you need to put the kettle on the floor. The socket is only there, and the cord is short. Everything else does not cause any particular complaints. Old carved furniture, batik bedspreads...

Breakfast at Wantilan Café is delicious and varied. A good breakfast in Bali is a rarity. Usually the choice is very poor. If we compare 4-5* hotels in approximately the same price category as Bali Hyatt, then Bali Hyatt is undoubtedly the best. There is an excellent Italian restaurant called Pizza Ria on the beach. The Telaga Naga Chinese restaurant, located outside the hotel but owned by the hotel, is one of the best in Sanur. But Omang Omang Grill did not particularly impress me.

The room is cleaned twice a day. There are always fresh towels. They bring the latest press. But the room is cleaned only superficially. The beetle, killed one night, lay there for two days waiting for at least someone to pay attention to it. I washed the bath myself. I don't like traces of soap scum on the walls.

But all this is not so important when you wake up in the morning from bird trills, when in the evening sitting on the balcony you listen to the sand of the waves and inhale the aroma of frangipani, when you walk through the most beautiful and well-groomed tropical garden, when you swim in the pool to the soothing music of gamelan... Garden of the Bali Hotel Hyatt is the oldest and most beautiful on the island. The hotel has a large and clean beach. Such high-quality, designer souvenirs as in the boutiques of the Bali Hyatt hotel cannot be found either in Ubud or in fashionable Seminyak. Very nice atmosphere. Calm island life... I have many friends from Australia who, as children, traveling with their parents, visited this hotel for the first time and now happily return here again and again... For those who love new hotels and cannot live without LCD TVs , iPod docking station and other modern Bali Hyatt gadgets will not work. The hotel will appeal to those who want to touch the real Bali... In general, this is a place for positive people only...

Hello! Right now I’m sitting in a hotel and reading all this nonsense about him... People, what a shame! The hotel is cool, and I have something to compare it with!!! In order to understand how good it is, it is enough to drive along the coast of Sanur and see the rest of the hotels... Indonesians have a negative attitude only towards those Russians who do not know foreign languages!!! They can’t even order food for themselves... It’s a shame for the country when when you come to a restaurant, you place an order for... English language, but they don’t believe you that you are from Russia and can speak English... So before the trip, we take tutorials and don’t disgrace the country... And about hotels, apparently the tour operators are really talking bullshit, because the furniture is all new, the linen is perfectly snow-white , the staff even gets boring with their smiles and questions about how you are, how was your day, and so on..

The area is amazing, what can I say, if you leave nuts on the balcony overnight, a squirrel will come in the morning... Of course, there are other living creatures such as lizards, but you can’t live without them, they are everywhere South-East Asia There is!

As for the prices: yes, it’s not cheap, about $200 a day, but let’s not forget that this is 5*, who needs a million cheaper offers.

Have a good holiday everyone!

In general, if you sum up everything that was previously written about this hotel, it is true. The average rating is 4 for all indicators.

The hotel has long paid for itself and, apparently, has long been bringing maximum profit to the owners. No money is being invested in infrastructure at all. Management is focused on emptying the wallets of guests. I was surprised that even the gym costs $10 a day, and a tour of the hotel garden costs $5. The food is excellent thanks to the Italian chef, but the prices are twice as high as outside, with the same quality. The hotel's business rests on the group regular customers Americans and Europeans, aged 50 and over, who came here when they were young and are nostalgic about it now. The attitude of servants and management towards Russians is neutral-negative.

Otherwise, everything good and bad that this hotel has is already written in the reviews of travel agents and vacationers.

Good luck to everyone, Dmitry

The hotel of the famous world chain HYATT is located on East Coast island of Bali, in the town of Sanur, and, of course, is the best hotel at this resort. Sanur is the northern extension of the coasts Nusa Dua and Benoa, and the first regular resort on the island of Bali. It was here that the first hotels appeared foreign tourists, one of which was Bali Hyatt. It is this fact that determines its features:

1. The hotel is quite old, which, on the one hand, is perhaps a plus, but on the other, of course, a minus. It has old rooms that have not seen renovation - both standard and superior categories (upgrading the room category, do not expect newness and modern furniture). The rooms are not shabby, do not give a terrible impression and are generally quite nice, however, they do not correspond to the level of Balinese five stars. The buildings also do not look new, so the hotel is NOT recommended for tourists who like new hotels.

2. At the same time, the hotel territory is an absolutely gorgeous tropical garden with many flowering plants, incredible amount squirrels (be careful with food on balconies)) and even lured monitor lizards in quiet ponds. This is a celebration of beautiful landscape design and landscape art, and the undoubted advantage of the hotel is that in few hotels on the island you can see SUCH beauty.

3. The problems with the sea in Sanur are the same as in Nusa Dua and Benoa - the low tides reach the coral reef, which is located at a distance that is very difficult to walk - up to a kilometer! But even at high tide the sea is quite shallow, and, depending on the season, there is an additional problem - algae. In short, there is no need to swim at low tide, but at high tide there may be water dirty with algae and relatively shallow water. But this is not a problem with the hotel, but with the resort as a whole.

4. The hotel is quite cozy, it has a very developed infrastructure. Several times a day there is a free shuttle to the Grand Hyatt (Nusa Dua), where you can also use the territory and infrastructure (there are restrictions - I will clarify personally upon request).

5. REGENCY CLUB rooms and above have a number of advantages over standard ones, including free snacks and drinks during the day in the Regency Club Lounge - from juices with cakes to smoked marlin with wine - all of amazing quality.

6. Food - breakfast - rating - "very good" - a wide variety of high-quality, tasty food.

7. Service - very good. During their stay, the administration arranges surprises for hotel guests, handing over envelopes with Best wishes, they give a photo as a gift, the rooms are cleaned well.

8. Attention - the hotel has a deposit - from 100 dollars per room.

Just returned... December 2008 We booked ourselves from Moscow for a week, but something confused us and rightly so. Hotel 3*+ maximum. Only the beach and the area deserve attention. The garden is beautiful, squirrels, birds, flying dogs at night, gecko lizards, cool frogs))...and the rooms are ugly, the hotel is probably 30 years old.

So - a regular room is 115 dollars + 21% taxes and fees WITHOUT BREAKFAST!, it is 18 dollars per person + taxes and fees, a total of 182 greens per room approximately.. Seaview room on the ocean - 120 dollars and the same taxes and fees, Regency Room 160 $ + 21% taxes and service (includes 2 cocktails daily and several limp fruits in a vase - funny, because 1 kg of mango costs 14 rubles!).. There is a kettle under the table in the room so it would not be easy to drink tea)), bathroom a little awkward and cramped, icy floor, there is a safe the size of a camera and a wallet.. They clean the room 2 times a day, they can knock at 23-00 - like cleaning.

In general, only the territory and the beach with a hot jacuzzi and a normal pool deserve attention.. The sea leaves in the morning and returns after 14-00 somewhere, to the reef about 500 meters and a depth of 1.70 m maximum at high tide, at low tide the depth is 0.50 m., seaweed touches your stomach when you swim)).. But pure water, not like in Kuta)).. At the bottom there are a lot of large starfish and urchins.. you don’t need to walk on foot even in coral slippers.. Locals are not allowed on the beach, this is important, in other hotels the locals will get the dead with their offers to buy all sorts of nonsense and ride jet skis.

We decided to ask for a special price for the second week - Hayat didn’t drop a cent, despite the fact that the buildings were empty! really)), like the economic crisis was muttered by the employees - a lot of refusals))... I want to tell those who have not been to Indonesia and did not understand me about the special offer that we asked - EVERYONE bargains THERE, all this means customs officers, police officers, traders, taxi drivers , hotels, spas and restaurants.. So this old Hayat was not traded..))..

In general, we found a better deal for much less money (bright, large rooms, etc.), they came for us and checked us in in the morning (not after 14-00) with a choice of the room we liked.. There are tons of hotels, you go and choose, there are a lot of villas for 4 - 10 people.

Of the minuses: the rooms are REALLY old, shabby, old plumbing (this was the most upsetting), at first it makes a depressing impression, after all, we did not expect this from a 5-star Hayat, but then you get used to it and it is no longer annoying, the breakfast is monotonous, the choice is normal , but in 5 stars Nusa Dua, the choice is many times better, there are no freshly squeezed juices, only ordinary ones like from bags, from fruits melon, watermelon. apples, and something else. They will make you scrambled eggs of your choice, bake pancakes, sausages, bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, local rice/noodles, various yoghurts, muesli, pastries and basically everything, you can eat your fill, but after 2 weeks you will get bored! The service seems to be without any complaints, although we didn’t particularly contact them, I’ll immediately make a reservation that we communicated with them only in English, so I don’t know their ability to express themselves in Russian. I didn’t like the washed-out grayish towels, and in general there were many small details that created the impression of a rather shabby hotel, for example, worn-out pillows on chairs and sofas in the hotel lobby, the toilet seat in the toilet in the lobby was smaller than the toilet rim itself, well, is that 5***** ! And there are many such little things, small, but unpleasant!

By the way, if anyone doesn’t know, there is a free shuttle from Bali Hyatt to the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua, the schedule is at the reception, it runs every 2 hours, at the grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua, with Bali Hyatt cards you can also get a towel and generally use the entire infrastructure , in the restaurant you can also write the room number, they then send the checks to Sanur. It is very convenient to take this bus to go to Bali Collection in Nusa Dua for shopping in the evening.

If you compare Hayat in Sanur and in Nusa Dua, then this is certainly heaven and earth. in Nusa Dua the hotel is really 5+, in Sanur there are only 4 and this is really objective, the conclusion is that the hotel is for those who want to save a little and love a quiet one, quiet rest, Nusa Dua is chic and expensive, but accordingly it is very crowded there, a lot of our people. One of the advantages of Sanur: food outside the hotel is cheaper than in Nusa Dua, for example in the Italian restaurant Massimo, 5 minutes walk from the hotel we had dinner together with a bottle of wine for $30.

I’ll start the story with our arrival. We were greeted by a pretty Balinese woman with garlands of flowers hung around her neck. We checked into a room in the third building (it’s a 7-minute walk from there to the pool). The next day we met with the guide and asked to move us closer. The guide agreed and we We moved to the second building, on the first floor. When they showed us our room, it seemed very strange that there were still garlands of flowers lying on the armchair. That is, someone came for a couple of days...? In the morning we realized that they were all over the bathroom room, on the dressing table, next to toothbrushes and facial tissues, in the bathroom there was excrement of either a mouse or a rat. We reported this to the reception and left for an excursion. Upon arrival we were told that everything was fine, everyone We caught mice. We woke up at half past four from a terrible crunch, went into the bathroom... chips from the door were scattered all over the floor, the same excrement, only in larger quantities. A little later we wanted to open the refrigerator and saw the same picture. We waited until morning , we went to the reception and asked the administrator to come to our room. And only after a council had met in our room, we were finally moved to our third room. Three days of lost rest.

The guide gives incomplete information, did not warn that when self-guided tour On Tana Lot, you definitely need to order a taxi for a two-way trip, otherwise you won’t be able to leave there. I didn’t warn you that after rafting you need to take dry clothes with you, and we were forced to ride the elephants in wet ones.

Most of all we were amazed by the arrogance and unfriendliness of Russians vacationing in Bali.

All around and everywhere, in restaurants, in taxis, in shopping shops, “kind” Balinese are trying to cheat people out of money.

But all these troubles were compensated by very interesting excursions, the magical nature of the island and excellent weather.

Excursions: watched the Kechak dance, Kentamani volcano, Tana Lot, Bird and Reptile Park, Orchid Park, elephant riding + descent down a mountain river (rafting) - I really liked everything. Lots of impressions. We went to Jimbaran (fishing villages) to eat seafood, too I liked it. The tables are on the sand, right on the ocean shore, extraordinary beauty!

Very nice beach, the low tides are felt less than in Nusa Dua. There is a shuttle between the two hotels in the chain! Photo 1 is in standard room, Photo 2 - a pool with fresh water tinted to match the color of the lake!

The hotel is excellent, as in previous reviews: we were greeted with a refreshing drink, fruit in the room, the rooms are large and everything is provided (iron, ironing board, safe, all imaginable and inconceivable bath accessories, even a washcloth), tea, coffee, sugar, cream, kettle , cups, glasses, bottled water in abundance every day. Breakfast is standard, I was surprised by the serving of greens and vegetables in portions (not convenient, in each cup there is a piece of cucumber, two pieces of pepper, a cherry tomato, cabbage, lettuce, arugula...). There is enough food, although one Russian couple, upon entering the restaurant, argued among themselves that the Chinese had eaten everything and had nothing to eat... but this is the mentality... although there is enough of everything - sausage, fish, cheese, butter, fruits (watermelon, melon, snack fruit, grapes, tangerine, papaya, carom, guava...). For those who stay for more than 9 days, dinner in a restaurant is free with the Baltic amateur program. Dinner includes a lot of seafood (very spicy), pig, duck, chicken, ice cream and lots of sweets. Beer 58 thousand for a small can. Massage 30 minutes free legs or back. You can order food (pizza, beer, etc.) by the pool, which is expensive. One pizza and two beers cost 300 thousand with tax and other things... the rate is 14,000, in the village next to the hotel it’s 14,360. Everyone has dinner in the Bali collection near the hotel. Also expensive. Dinner is about 40 dollars for two (2 beers, soup, second with seafood). If you leave the hotel, go left to the big white Stella (metro 700-800) and turn right, you will find yourself in a village, right along the road there is a chain of restaurants for any budget, shopping arcades with real prices, souvenirs, fruits, beer 28 thousand, the soul rejoices. If you walk straight along this street to the temple (roundabout), there is a cafe with Balinese cuisine right on the corner. Juice 15, fish 25-35, squid 35, kopeck soup served for two people at once, the food is very tasty, cooked very quickly (three guys in the kitchen), ask for “but spacey”. 10-15 dollars for two will fill you up. In short, if one dish in Balikolekshen costs 150 thousand, then here it’s the same for the whole dinner. This is for lovers of exotic things and those who want not to overpay. Excursions: we went to see the volcano, the bird and reptile park, the monkey forest, temples, the guide spoke Russian well, the car was only for us (2 people), we liked everything very much, tip the guide 50-150 thousand. Tipping is the norm. Bargaining at the market is obligatory, prices are inflated several times (a bag costs 130 thousand, but asks for 500 or 600). Fruit prices: mangosteen 70, mango 35, pineapple 30 per piece. Alcohol is very expensive, from 500 to 2 million. You can’t bring much with you, they check and pick it up at the airport. We bought 1 liter of beefeater at Duty Free Qatar, skipped it, but even checked the dry drink for the presence of alcohol. And the bags were coated so that they did not bring in alcohol. Near the hotel there is a peninsula with a temple and Stella. The tide there is very beautiful, the waves hit a height of 15 meters, it’s quite a sight. The tides are constantly low, it is difficult to swim (shallow), the pools are beautiful, there are many Chinese with inflatable mattresses... there are Australians, there are few Russian speakers (Kazakhs, Ukrainians, Russians). The hotel area is huge, beautiful, green, everywhere there are ponds with red crucian carp and colored lotuses, there are geese, monitor lizards, a lot of chipmunks (take seeds and nuts for them), they ask for food, they take it from your hands, a lot of exotic birds, flowers... we have the pond was right from the balcony. Wi-Fi is free in the room, at the reception and by the pool. The signal is good, the video is available. There is no limit on towels by the pool per room, replacing wet ones without any problems, when you check out after checking out the room, Wi-Fi turns off, but you can stay near the pool with towels until night without problems, there are showers with shampoo, etc., locker rooms, luggage storage, everything is very comfortable. Packing luggage at the airport 80 thousand. We also agreed with the deposit for dollars from the card, but maybe because we arrived at one in the morning and there was no way to exchange it for rupees, let’s say we were lucky. The deposit was returned on the first day after returning. Have a nice holiday! Have a good experience! I hope my review will be useful to you.
