Inexpensive ski resorts in Europe. Ski resorts in Europe. Inexpensive, price rating, the best budget ski holidays in Europe

Now I wanted some more budget-friendly alternative, otherwise the previous article turned out to be quite bourgeois.

I know ski enthusiasts who go skiing to Chamonix and Courchevel with a suitcase full of cold cuts and other dry food, so as not to spend money there, because they fly to these luxury regions not because of the “show-off”, but because steep (in every sense of the word) trails. If you have not been skiing since the age of 6, are not going to freeride from helicopters, but just want to ski with your soul without much strain, soak in the spa, relax in good hotel with a view of the mountains and at the same time not spending much, then the information below is for you.

There are inexpensive ones in Europe ski resorts and in the Alps, and in the Tatras, and in the Balkans, we will try to briefly but succinctly talk about them now. We will talk about Slovenia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria.

Ski resorts in Slovenia

Little Slovenia, like its more popular neighbors Austria and Italy, has magnificent mountains - its entire northeastern part is covered with the Julian Alps, which are located in national reserve Triglav. And naturally, thanks to this, there are also ski resorts in Slovenia, they are neatly lined up along the border with the “queen of slopes” Austria. There are quite a lot of them - Maribor, Kranjska Gora, Bohinj, Vogel. Let’s take a closer look at the largest one – Maribor.

Maribor, Slovenia

Maribor (Mariborsko Pohorje)

The place, you know, is not easy - the Women’s Alpine Skiing World Cup is held here every year, and this already speaks of a certain level.

Pohorje is a mountainous area with pistes, located on the outskirts of the town of Maribor, which is the second largest in the country (after the capital Ljubljana) and itself is very nice, with a large number of bars and cafes. This is if we talk about après ski.

And now about the skis themselves: The total length of the slopes in Maribor Pohorje is 33 kilometers. The absolute majority have green pistes - 21 km (a note and joy for beginners), a small area with red pistes - 8 km and very few black ones - only 3 km. And also, it was here, in Maribor, that the first illuminated track for night skiing in Slovenia (it doesn’t sound very epic, but still) was opened. Its length is 4.5 km.

Current prices for ski passes can be found at.

Don’t rush to think that you will quickly get bored here, however, Maribor still has:

  • Long (20 km long) cross-country ski trail.
  • Sleigh ride area.
  • Snow park "Pohorje" on the slope of Mount Habakuk with equipment for snowboarding and freestyle skiing.
  • Spa centers. Yes, yes, Maribor is one of the mining ski resorts Slovenia with thermal springs. The largest such center is called Terme Maribor.

Where to stay in Maribor, hotels

  • A very good option, located in the heart of Maribor Pohorje, literally one step away from one of the ski lifts. The hotel has a small spa, restaurant, bar and free parking.
  • with a huge spa area: with indoor and outdoor thermal pools and saunas. This hotel is 100 meters from the main ski lifts.

Bovec (small bonus to the story about Maribor)

Another interesting and popular (in narrow circles) place is the Bovec ski resort. The total length of the slopes here is small, only 15 km, but the largest elevation difference among all Slovenian ski areas is 1800 meters and the slopes are at 2200 meters (some of them offer views of the Adriatic Sea).

And yes, just for reference, in Sölden, Austria, a 7-day ski pass costs 316 euros. Of course, the trails there are much more varied/serious and there are more of them (this is not discussed), but if you are just starting out, but already want to go to the Alps, do you need Austrian diversity if there is Slovenian Bovec. Also the Alps only for 130-150 euros per week.

Cons

As I wrote above, this is not at all large number black tracks.

Ski resorts in Montenegro

About this Balkan country we are used to talking mainly in terms of holidays on the Adriatic Sea, cute coastal towns drenched in the sun. On the coast here, even in January, in the worst case scenario, the temperature does not drop below 10 degrees C, but on average stays around 17 C. But, once you drive 2.5 hours inland, towards the border with Serbia, you find yourself in a completely different world, the landscapes more reminiscent of either cold Iceland, if we are talking about the Durmitor Nature Reserve, or the Urals or Siberia with their snow-covered spruce forests, if we are talking about the Biogradska Gora Nature Reserve. It is on the territory of these two reserves that two Montenegrin ski resorts are located - Zabljak in Durmitor and Kolasin on Biogradska Gora.

Winter in Montenegro

And here is a paradox - the natural data for organizing a ski center are much better in Durmitor, but despite this, it was Kolasin with its modest elevation changes (only 500m) that became one of the most comfortable and developed ski resorts in the entire Balkans. They have been directly involved in it, and as far as I know, they continue to do so and invest in it. Let's tell you more about both places.

Kolasin

When I studied the reviews of other travelers about Kolasin, it was very striking how from 2012 to 2017 the opinion of ski lovers about this place changed, from the dismissive “boring hill for locals” to “perhaps the best slopes in the Balkans.”

The resort is developing, acquiring new features and becoming more and more like a serious resort every year ski center. Here are the numbers:

There are a total of 14 trails with a total length of 30 km, of which 5 are blue, 7 are red and 2 are black.

6 lifts, including a new modern elevator, with throughput up to 5,500 people per hour and another amenity - a special baby elevator. Artificial snowmaking guns are working (by the way, on the Kolasin website, I’ll give the link below, there are webcams from the slopes that can be used to check the level of snow cover).

In addition to the slopes, the resort has a cross-country ski area, several restaurants at the foot and a mountain ski school.

Here, in Kolasin, you can book a Ski-Doo snowmobile safari through the Biogradska Gora Nature Reserve.

Where to stay in Kolasin

It is considered the best and, so to speak, most fashionable hotel in Kolasin. A very worthy place - such a classic hotel in the mountains, with wooden rooms, a fireplace in the restaurant, a sauna to relax after a day on the slopes and panoramic views of the mountains.

IN Hotel Four Points, Kolasin

Zabljak

The main advantage of Zabljak is, of course, the Durmitor nature reserve itself, with its incredible picturesque canyon Tara River, Dzhurzhevich Bridge, Black Lake. And from the outside, Zabljak itself is quite nice, looking like a European ski town: hotels in the form of chalets, bars with an après-ski atmosphere.

But the trails here are quite poor: 2 blue and one red, all of them are located in the area of Mount Savin Kuk (one of the highest in Montenegro).

There are only two lifts here, there is another one that leads almost to the top of the mountain, but according to reviews, it often does not work (when we arrived, it also did not work).

The advantages are that these 2 blue trails are wide and long, well suited for beginners, and the cost here is even lower than in Kolasin (this is understandable, the infrastructure is worse) - 13 euros per day. It is possible to rent equipment for 8 euros.

Landscapes of Durmitor

There is one very nice one in Zabljak, we recommend it in almost every article about Montenegro :) It is small, with very comfortable modern rooms, a sauna and a delicious restaurant with a fireplace.

Cons

On the red slopes of Kolasin you need to be careful, there may be stones, and in Zabljak there are no snow cannons and therefore its slopes are very dependent on the weather. We arrived one weekend - everything was covered in snow, it was beautiful, we returned a week later with a snowboard, and that’s it - the snow decided to melt :)

Ski resorts in Slovakia

That's who it is, but Slovakia is not very kind to tourists, neither summer time year, much less in winter. But in vain. Part of the territory of this small country is covered by the Tatra Mountains. These mountains have a lot of lakes, rivers, noisy waterfalls, rocky peaks (the highest point is Mount Gerlachovsky Stit, 2665 meters). In winter, there are several ski resorts here, the largest of which are Tatranska Lomnica (just at the foot of Gerlachovsky Štit), Smokovci, Jasna, Vratna. Let's take a closer look at the last two.

Vratna

One of the largest ski resorts in Slovakia in the Lower Tatras on the territory of the Mala Fatra nature reserve. The European Cup stage in parallel slalom was held here (and I consider the holding of major sports competitions to be one of the signs of a good resort infrastructure).

Vratna lifts

The total length of the trails is 17 km, of which 8 km are blue trails, 2 km are red and 6 km are black + a bonus of 1 km of very easy green trail.

In total there are 5 Vratna ski areas: Apiaries (popular for family vacation, there are simple sections of pistes, there is a ski school and a restaurant), Prislop (here are pistes of medium difficulty, the best area in Vratna for snowboarders and a picturesque view of the Mala Fatra ridge + panorama of the valley), Hleb (an area with black pistes and a panorama restaurant “Panorama” ), Poludnevy Grun (the most “diverse” zone, there are blue, black, and red slopes + a restaurant in a cozy chalet), Oshchepkova Mulda (northern zone with difficult slopes).

Vratna trails

Besides ski slopes in Vratna there are areas for freeride, a Snowpark for freestyle (it is located in the Paseka area), spa hotels with panoramic views.

Where to stay in Vratna

Our choice is 3-star in the Apiary area. Its main advantage is a good spa center. There is a panoramic pool overlooking the snow-capped peaks and spruce forests of Lesser Fatra, a Finnish sauna, a fitness room and a massage area.

Restaurant at the Boboty Hotel

Jasna

Actually, Jasna is recognized as the best ski resort in Slovakia, but we put it in second place because the price of a ski pass for a week is quite high - up to 250 euros for a week in high season. But at the same time there are quite budget restaurants and hotels.

Jasna has 50 km of trails: 20.5 km of blue, 17.8 km of red and 7.3 km of black + there are 4.5 km of cross-country skiing, 12 freeride areas and one snow park in the Otupne area.

In addition to the slopes, there is a rope park (something like a panda park) Tarzania and children's park MAXiland.

Cons

Both resorts can sometimes get quite crowded ( local population, they know that their resorts are good and much cheaper than the Alpine ones :)).

Ski resorts in the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is not only about beer and red tiled roofs of postcard cities. Here, not far from the border with Poland, there is the “Giant Mountains” mountain range and on its territory one of the best inexpensive ski resorts in Europe - Spindleruv Mlyn (oh, the great and mighty Czech language J).

Spindleruv Mlyn

The resort includes 4 ski areas (Medvedin-Gornye Misechki, St. Peter-Gromovka, Stoch and Labska), the total length of the slopes is 25 km (interestingly, this is exactly what they write on the official website, but if you add up the length of each slope separately (also indicated on the website), it will be 23.4 km, but let’s forgive this “rounding”, perhaps it implies additional zones).

Landscapes of the resort Spindleruv Mlyn

Now in more detail: 13.7 km of red slopes, 2.7 km of black and 7 km of blue. There is an area for night skiing and a snowpark for freestyle.

In the town itself there are many restaurants and cafes where you can eat boar's knee and drink beer or mulled wine. In addition to the ski slopes, there are also areas for sledding and a snow tube track (descent from a snow slide on special rubber circles, fun and safe). All the tourist sites also write about the local Water Park, which “will give an unforgettable experience for the whole family,” but the reviews of 100% of tourists who have been there are negative - there are few slides, there is a strong smell of bleach, and, in principle, it’s sad, so spend your money better time for outdoor entertainment.

Cons

There are a lot of people, which is why there are often queues for the ski lifts and the slopes go down quickly. During snowfalls, black and sometimes red slopes are often closed.

Where to stay in Špindlerův Mlýn, hotels

We continue to promote our theory that if you come to the mountains, then you have to enjoy them to the fullest, not only on the slopes, but also while falling asleep and waking up, which is why at the Czech ski resort we selected a hotel with panoramic views almost from each window – .

Swimming pool at the Orea Horal Hotel

The hotel is located within walking distance from the ski lifts and has an excellent view pool, sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and children's play area.

Ski resort in Romania – Poiana Brasov

In the Romanian Carpathians there are not only castles of world-famous gloomy rulers with oddities, but there is also one very good ski resort - Poiana Brasov. A place among picturesque rugged mountains and fluffy pine forests with the ancient city of Brasov nearby and with friendly Romanian staff who try very hard to make your holiday here a European-level holiday.

Panorama of Poiana Brasov resort

The total length of the tracks is 14 kilometers, of which 5 kilometers are blue, 5 kilometers are red and 4 kilometers are black.

There are several jumps. In Poiana Brasov, snow cannons are very active, because the weather is like this, it can get warm, but the minimum required layer of artificial snow will always be there.

Prices for ski passes can be viewed at. Remember that Romania does not have the euro, but its own currency - the lei.

At this ski resort you can not only ski, but also go horseback riding, soak in the spa, or book a tour around the country in tourist center(it is located in Brasov Town Hall).

Hotel in Poiana Brasov

Brasov was definitely beyond competition - modern, stylish, a piece of Austria or Switzerland among the Romanian mountains.

At the Hotel Teleferic

I honestly didn’t expect that there could be such hotels in Romania (I underestimated, so to speak, I apologize). The hotel is within walking distance from the ski lifts and has a large spa center.

Cons

In Poiana Brasov there is often heavy fog and snowfall, which makes skiing dangerous.

Ski resorts in Bulgaria

Last on our list European countries, where you can inexpensively go skiing - Bulgaria. And you know, there are many good ski centers here - Borovets, Pamporovo, Vitosha, Bansko. Let's take a closer look at the latter.

Bansko

This is a mountainous region that includes several ski areas: Shiligarniki (the main one), Chalin Valog (mostly with difficult slopes), Todorka and Balkaniada. The slopes are located quite far from each other, but there is a bus between them, free for ski pass holders.

The total length of the tracks in Bansko is 47 kilometers, of which 20 km are blue, 24 km are red and 3 km are black. In addition, there is a cross-country skiing area - Banderishka Polyana, about 8 km long.

There are quite a lot of lifts - 14, but they are sorely lacking due to the large number of skiers. Bansko is one of the most popular ski resorts in Eastern Europe (if not the most popular). There are especially many people here in the first two weeks of February (the time of the European holidays) and, naturally, on New Year's Day.

Bansko

People come here mainly to hone their skills, to train with instructors (in Bansko this is inexpensive and very productive), so there are many training groups and beginners on the slopes.

In the vicinity of Bansko there are thermal centers– in the towns of Banya (that’s the telling name J) and Dobrinishche. And you can spend your evenings in colorful Bulgarian taverns.

Cons

Queues at the lifts. During the season they can be very long and tiring. On one of the forums, a certain cheerful and resourceful skier shared her way to avoid the queue - take a taxi to the Chalin Valog zone (this is not too expensive), it is already freer there than at the very bottom.

Where to stay in Bansko, hotels

Here the choice fell on an apartment hotel - a quiet place near the ski lifts with several swimming pools (one of them outdoor heated), sauna, hammam, free secure parking and Russian-speaking staff.

Conclusion

We hope that many of the places we have talked about here have become a discovery for you and you will decide to try out these still inexpensive, but already well-equipped European ski resorts.

However, both last and first place will be ensured unforgettable vacation in Europe.

TOP 10 best ski resorts in Europe

10 Chamonix, France

Legendary glaciers, freedom for freeriders
170 km of trails, great place for confident skiers
On the map: France, Chamonix
Rating (based on reviews): 4.5

The ranking of the best in Europe opens with Chamonix, a French ski resort that appeared in 1907. Nowadays it is considered one of the most suitable places for experienced skiers. The season lasts from November to March, although the resort is open all year round. There are 3 ski areas connected free buses. The most experienced go to the slopes of the Gran Monte with several black runs and a huge freeride field. The Argentiere Glacier is also located there. Just 50 meters from the edge of the resort lies the border with Switzerland, so most of the tourists come from there.

In total, Chamonix has 170 km of trails, developed infrastructure and nature, which is carefully protected. It is considered inexpensive for Europe, and visitors named the lifts as its only weak point. Many of them are already time to be replaced, some do not even have a protective cap from the wind. The weather at the resort is changeable, there are fogs and snowstorms. Then visibility drops significantly, freeride is limited or warned of the danger of falling off. Speaking of the latter, there are a lot of avalanches and crevasses in Chamonix, especially close to the top. They are covered with snow, but driving there is risky. It seems to us that there are more suitable resorts for beginners and families with children; we will consider them further.

9 Zell am See, Austria

Year-round glacier skiing
The most beautiful resort in the country, good infrastructure
On the map: Austria, Zell am See
Rating (based on reviews): 4.5

Zell am See – relatively inexpensive resort Austria, where you can find tracks of any complexity, from educational ones for children to high-speed black ones. Tourists are advised to come from the end of December to the end of March, although the glacier operates all year round. Experts prefer the route at the top, which offers excellent views of the entire valley. Several descents of medium difficulty are often overloaded, you will have to wait for your turn. Many people note the long route to Schuttdorf with its mountain lake. Tired of skiing down the slopes, guests visit the skating rink, ride in horse teams, take a sled and go to the illuminated slope.

Near Zell am See there is a town with medieval buildings where most of the tourists live. Transport travels through a long tunnel so as not to disturb the atmosphere. At the resort, the slopes are divided into zones for beginners and professionals. Here, as in many places in Europe, the slopes are made unique, alternating views of the mountains, valley and lake. Before the trip, you need to take into account that it takes about 30 minutes to get to the resort from the hotel, the buses are very busy. On the lower slopes for beginners at the beginning and end of the season there are rocks and ice visible, you need to be careful.

8 Levi, Finland

The most convenient location of slopes and lifts
Skiing from October to May, 230 km of slopes
On the map: Finland, Levi, Hissitie 8
Rating (based on reviews): 4.5

Levi is a large trail system, renewed every year, that covers the mountain from all sides. Holidays in Finland challenge even experienced skiers; only pros can test each slope! The ski school teaches all popular winter sports.

Visitors note 230 km of cross-country trails and more than 880 km of snowmobile trails. Tired of the mountains, tourists go to snow parks, send their children and teachers to children's slopes and relax in restaurants. Only here in Finland you can ride a cable car and watch the slalom championship. Parents like the inexpensive children's playground with sports competitions and animators. Older children are sent to school with an instructor. Here the nanny speaks Russian, like many trainers. The only thing that can be noted is that they are beautiful mountain landscapes You won't find Austria or Switzerland here. There are no red trails, only green, blue and black.

7 St. Moritz, Switzerland

Most popular resort in Europe
A holiday destination for wealthy tourists, slopes for all levels

6 Garmisch-Pantherkirchen, Germany

Long pistes, many gentle slopes
Skiing from mid-November to early May
On the map: Germany, Bavaria, Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Rating (based on reviews): 4.6

Garmisch-Pantherkirchen is located in the north of the Eastern Alps, next to the highest point in the country - the Zugspitze. Comparing the resort of Germany with Italy or Austria, you can see that the first one takes up little space. However, the long routes attract tourists from all over Europe. Beginners slowly slide down the green and blue gentle slopes. Guests switch to red express routes with more confidence. Pros ski down black slopes with large elevation changes. Garmisch-Pantherkirchen has it all - uncultivated spaces, gentle and steep slopes, hillocks, ice and deep snow. The tracks are located very compactly.

Users in their reviews note the developed infrastructure: 46 lifts take guests to the peaks, next to each there is a slope map and instructors. Those who are tired of skiing are recommended to visit the Apres-Ski amusement park. There are shops, sled and skate rentals, restaurants, walking routes And kindergarten. Temperatures during the season drop to -25, it is recommended to dress warmly. All hotels are located far from the ski lifts; the journey without a car will take about an hour. Since there is only one road to the resort, there are always traffic jams in the mornings and evenings, and there are a lot of people on the roads.

5 Lech, Austria

The best ski attractions
The only place in the country where heli-skiing is allowed
On the map: Austria, Lech am Arlberg
Rating (based on reviews): 4.7

Lech is one of the unique places, opening access to the White Ring. This unique ski attraction has been in operation for over 50 years and offers amazing runs, cable cars and lifts. They are the central element of the ski resort, although it already has a lot to offer. 95 visitors are expected cable cars, developed in the last century and regularly updated. Lech is accessible for any type of training, there are soft and gentle slopes, instructors and group classes. The cost of a day ski pass is 53 euros per adult, which is quite expensive for Austria. However, this resort is the only one in the country where heli-skiing is allowed - skiing with a helicopter transfer to the top.

A little lower down the mountain there is a slope for snowboarders with a pipe 1,200 meters long. Nearby there are slopes for the pros: black and red slopes over 2 km long. There are also spaces for free skating. It is worth noting that Lech has many very expensive hotels and restaurants; in Austria it is considered elite. You won't be able to save money; the main audience matches the prices - German pensioners, local aristocrats and successful businessmen. It is recommended to book the best places in advance, sometimes a year in advance. You have to take a bus to get to the most interesting and picturesque slopes.

4 Formigal, Spain

On the map: Spain, Huesca, Formigal

Upon arrival, guests are offered training at the school (in a group or individually). An hour of classes costs 42 euros, but there are many discounts and great deals. The small slides have automatic lifting tracks, and equipment rental booths are located throughout the site. The only weak point of the resort is the strong wind that blows almost the entire season.

3 Poiana Brasov, Romania

14 km of slopes, several jumps, skiing from November to March
On the map: Romania, Poiana Brasov
Rating (based on reviews): 4.8

2 Zermatt, Switzerland

Best for the number of steep descents
Opportunity to climb to the highest lift station, Klein Matterhorn
On the map: Switzerland, Zermatt
Rating (based on reviews): 4.9

The second place among the best is taken by Zermatt, which surpasses other resorts in the number of slopes for experienced skiers. It is most popular among professionals; many of the trails have steep slopes at considerable heights. This is where the famous Klein Matterhorn station (3,885 meters) is located, where the black and red slopes begin. Beginners and families with children are attracted by nature; a huge number of observation platforms, excursions, the famous Glacier Express runs.

The total length of the tracks is 360 km, the height difference is more than 2 km. The majority are red slopes (220 km), a significant share is occupied by black slopes (62 km). The freeride season opens in January, when the most risky skiers arrive. There is enough space for everyone; guests are transported by 72 lifts and a large train. The ski pass is quite expensive compared to other European resorts - from 340 euros for 6 days, but the skiing is exceptional. Quieter places may be suitable for beginners, but it’s difficult to find better slopes than Zermatt for pros.

1 Livigno, Italy

Various slopes, calm weather
Length of tracks - 115 km, modern infrastructure
On the map: Italy, Livigno, Via Bondi, 120B
Rating (based on reviews): 4.9

The leader of the rating was Livigno, an Italian resort on the border with Switzerland, which is visited annually by tens of thousands of skiers. The place appeared at the beginning of the last century, but it received a big impetus for development only in 2002, so all the slopes and lifts are new. Routes are regularly added and infrastructure is improved. The length of the trails is 115 km, most of them are intended for beginner and intermediate levels of difficulty. The most popular are the green Carosello and the red Motolino. There are always a lot of snowboarders here, there are slopes for freeride, halfpipe and boardercross. In Italy, Livigno is part of a tax-free zone; goods in stores are very cheap.

Visitors in the reviews note the funicular, which rises to a height of 2,300 meters, directly to the blue and red slopes. Pros move on to Monte della Neva (2,800 meters), where the black slopes begin. Beginners find it easy to get back down, and there are group and private lessons available for them. Most of the lifts in the green and blue sectors are rope tows. The only warning to future visitors is to time the transfer, it takes up to 40 minutes. The ski areas are not connected to each other.

Probably every person once in childhood tried to get on skis and even moved a few meters on them. For many, a childhood hobby has grown into a favorite pastime in adulthood. They cannot imagine life without a winter walk through the forest on skis.

Passion for skiing is a completely different matter. Not everyone will decide on such an active holiday. This special category people who strive to conquer snowy slopes. Here you need special equipment, and the place is suitable. That is why the question often arises: “Where to go skiing in Europe?”
Experienced skiers already have their own resorts, where they gather annually with a company of like-minded people. It is on the basis of their reviews that the article presents a description of the best European ski resorts.

The most elite and prestigious resorts

The very name of the resort is associated with undisguised luxury and wealth. France, Megève

If the first resort is a gathering place for Russian oligarchs, then the French and respectable Europeans prefer to come to Megève. Simple rules or what you need to know when visiting a ski resort

These rules are acceptable for those travelers who are going on a trip for the first time. ski resort. The list is simple and short:

  • Before going to a ski resort, collect all the information about it. First of all, the difficulty of the trails. They must be different. If a vacationer is easy to train, then after several days of riding on an easy route, he will become bored and want to find something more difficult.
  • Minimum set of equipment. You don’t need to buy all the necessary equipment right away. After all, there is no guarantee that it will be needed next year. You may not like this kind of vacation at all. All necessary equipment can be rented at the resort. In any case, this is cheaper than buying professional equipment.
  • Boil contact lenses. If a beginner has poor eyesight and cannot do without glasses, then they should be replaced with contact lenses. This is less dangerous.
  • You should not show off your skills and abilities, especially if you don’t have them. There is no need to be embarrassed that a beginner has poor skiing skills and cannot cope with an easy descent the first time. The skill is achieved through long training. But a thoughtless descent along a difficult route can quickly interrupt your rest.
  • Listen to the instructor in everything and don’t be surprised when he starts teaching you how to fall first, and only then how to stand on your skis.

These simple rules will help make your vacation more enjoyable and completely safe. Not every person can immediately show Olympic performance, so first of all you need to think about personal safety, and not about the impression that you can make on others.
