The Buyer undertakes to confirm the reservation by making 100% payment for the cost of services, unless otherwise agreed by the Parties.

1.3. The reservation is considered completed when “Two Bananas” sends a reservation confirmation by email or other means of communication to the Buyer.

1.4. Prior to completing a booking, the Buyer must disclose any specific needs and services that may be required due to his or her physical condition, otherwise Two Bananas does not assume any special obligation, liability or compensation in relation to such Buyer's needs.

2. Cost and payment

2.1. Prices on the Site are indicated in dollars and if, by agreement of the Parties, the Buyer makes part of the payment on the day the Services begin in another currency, the cost of the Services will be calculated at the rate of the National Bank of the Dominican Republic on the current date.

3. Rights and obligations of “Two Bananas”

3.1. "Two Bananas" undertakes:

Make these Terms and Conditions available to the Buyer by publishing them on the Site.

Provide the Buyer with confirmation of booking of the Services by email or other means of communication after receiving payment for the Services.

Provide the reserved and paid Services in accordance with their description presented on the Site.

Inform the Buyer that Two Bananas is not responsible for services and products provided by third parties.

Terminate the provision of Services if the Buyer makes their provision difficult or impossible through rude or indecent behavior. If the “Two Bananas” guides assess the Buyer’s behavior as inappropriate and disturbing the order in places of visit, especially religious and cultural ones, such Buyer will be denied further provision of Services without reimbursement of his expenses and compensation for the cost of the Services.

4. Rights and obligations of the Buyer

4.1. The buyer undertakes:

5.1.3. If the provision of Services was interrupted due to the occurrence of circumstances specified in clause 5.1.1., “Two Bananas” has the right to withhold payment for the Services actually rendered.

5.1.4. If “Two Bananas” cannot complete the provision of Services due to the occurrence of the circumstances specified in clause 5.1.1., then, at the request of the Buyer, “Two Bananas” may reimburse the Buyer part of the amount paid for those Services that were not provided, according to Two Bananas calculations.

5.1.5. "Two Bananas" may terminate the provision of Services without paying compensation to the Buyer if the Buyer makes it impossible to provide the Services through rude and inappropriate behavior. In addition, in this case, the Buyer is obliged to compensate damage caused to “Two Bananas” in the amount of the full cost of the Services and other losses.

5.2. Cancellation of booking and provision of Services by the Buyer:

5.2.1. The Buyer has the right to cancel the booked Services. Cancellation is made by sending a message by email or other means of communication specified in the contacts section. A previously unpaid excursion must be canceled at least two days before it takes place. Any complaints from the Buyer must be voiced to the leaders, guides or managers of “Two Bananas” immediately and must include arguments regarding the inconsistency of the Services described on the website and the Services provided to the Buyer. The Buyer agrees to cooperate with Two Bananas and wait for its justified complaint to be resolved locally, and to accept the proposed solutions to continue providing the Services. From 01.02.20-12.02.20, my friend and I went to the sunny Dominican Republic. The flight was not easy - 12 hours. By the end, I no longer had the strength to sit; passengers crowded around the emergency exits and toilets. There were no flight delays in either direction (I don’t count 20-30 minutes as a delay). Upon arrival they passed quickly customs control What immediately surprised me was the attitude of the local customs officers. Everyone smiles at you and asks “how are you?” We passed control in about 15 minutes. Then we received our luggage, boarded the Pegasus bus and drove to our hotel in about 20 minutes. We were on holiday with a friend at the Bahia Principe chain hotel. In the Punta Cana area (the largest and most developed resort area of ​​the Dominican Republic). This brand of hotels includes and unites 7 hotels over a vast territory: Grand Bahia Principe Turquesa, Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana, Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro, Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine, Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar, Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda, Fantasia Bahia Principe Punta Cana. Each hotel has its own territory, its own reception, its own restaurants, beach area and entertainment program. The entire territory is well-groomed, a huge number of staff work around the clock. If you go outside the hotel territory, there is dirt, garbage, and what was most surprising for us is that they have no palm trees, just an ordinary-looking forest, we decided that this is the hotel territory being planted specifically for tourists. We were guests of the Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana Hotel. This hotel is a mirror image of the Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro. We could enter the territory of this hotel, and they, accordingly, entered ours. We did not have access to other hotels.
ACCOMMODATION.
There are 2-3 storey villas on site. We lived in villa number 12. It is located in the middle between the reception (where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the ocean. There are 6 rooms on each floor.
We took a DBL superior room. Despite the fact that the hotel claims to be 5 stars, in this country it is far from 5 stars if you compare the room with the same Pattaya. However, the room is spacious and clean. Two separate wide 1.5 beds (or one large, as needed). Sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee table, wardrobe, safe. There are also 2 chairs and a table on the balcony. Plasma TV (there are 2 Russian channels), free minibar, tea, coffee, sugar. In the bathroom there are shampoos, conditioners, soaps, towels for feet, face, hands, large towels. There are no slippers, bathrobes or toothbrushes; we took them from home.
The safe is very sophisticated. We first tried to set it up ourselves, using a translator and instructions in English language, but in the end I had to call a specialist for help.
Not long ago we installed Wi-Fi in the rooms; previously it was only in the lobby. When you check into the hotel, you are given the Wi-Fi password; it is issued personally to the room. Registration is simple, enter your email number, then on the “booking” tab enter your password and then agree to the terms of service, you’re done. But please note that the password on iPhones is only valid for 15 minutes, then you need to reconnect again (as they explained to us, this is due to the security system of iPhones). It works without restrictions on other phones. Room cleaning is done daily. I can’t say for sure, but it seemed to us that towels and bed linen were changed every day. The cleaning was of course a "4-", but it didn't bother us much. Always left a $1 tip. Both the cleaning lady and the waiters. It’s a small thing for us, but it’s nice for them. Plus, everything is so organized with them, everyone tries to do their job well, deliver maximum comfort to the client, which is worthy of additional reward and motivation.
NUTRITION.
At the entrance to the restaurant you are greeted and escorted to a specific table. This is done so that guests do not run around looking for a table; the staff does this for them. The waiters are smart, they look neat, they always wear a white shirt, black trousers and shoes (and this is in 30 degree heat). A mandatory attribute is a smile and a good mood! They always ask how you are doing, joke, and give compliments.
The food at this hotel is of course excellent. The pastries served for breakfast are simply divine. Here the chef can prepare you scrambled eggs or an omelet from the ingredients you choose. They also bake pancakes and pancakes. Huge selection of cheeses, sausages, fruits and other food. Waiters serve coffee and tea. For lunch and dinner there is already a large selection of meat and fish prepared different ways. Also pizzas, hamburgers, spaghetti. We never left hungry. There is something for everyone. You are also given the opportunity to visit 5 a la carte restaurants for free, but this can be done by appointment in the lobby at the Guests service counter. There are computers on which you can choose the date and time of your visit. But it’s better to do this immediately upon arrival, since there are a lot of guests and there may simply be no empty seats. We really liked all the restaurants we visited, both in terms of food and service.
ENTERTAINMENT
In the evening, on the territory of the hotel in the Theater and in the Village there is animation program. The schedule of events is posted at the reception. Every day new program, but it is scheduled for a week, then everything repeats itself.
There is also a karaoke bar and night club. A large number of shops where you can buy sunscreen, hats, capes, swimming circles, glasses, alcohol, food (chips, chocolates, snacks, etc.). Be careful with topical creams and sun exposure. On the 3rd day we developed an allergy to the sun, which in turn was provoked by sunscreen. So stock up on antihistamines and prednisolone in case of swelling. This is a common problem for Russians; apparently our skin is too sensitive to the southern sun, and acclimatization when flying from winter to cold does its job.
OCEAN
The territory of Punta Cana is washed by Atlantic Ocean. The ocean is certainly fabulous. Today it is calm - clear blue water, and tomorrow - big waves. Sometimes algae washed up from the Sargasso Sea, but there was not much of it. In general, our beach was one of the best on the entire coastal territory. At the neighboring hotels, a tractor removes algae from the territory, everything is dug up, the sand is yellow, which is not very beautiful. At our hotel, all the algae was removed by hand, the sand of the beach was white, there were many umbrellas, there were enough sunbeds for everyone, but to get a place in the shade, of course, you need to arrive early. In general, the sea is warm and the entrance is shallow. Air temperature during the day is 28-30 degrees. In the morning and at night the temperature is 23-24 degrees, which is quite comfortable. Plus, on the Atlantic there is always a strong wind, the heat is not felt. During the day there is animation on the beach for both children and adults. The contingent on vacation is mainly: Americans, Canadians, Swedes, Germans, French, a few Russians, no Chinese, which is a definite plus. In order to see blue azure, you need to visit the Caribbean Sea. We went there when we chose an excursion to the island. Saona (we purchased it from the company "Two Bananas". We recommend it. Guide Dimas - one love). Be sure to attend the show at the Coco Bongo club. This is an indescribable delight. All excursions in the Dominican Republic cost around $100, and it’s not budget-friendly, but you may only visit this country once; you need to make the most of your trip. The hotel was built in 2004 and underwent renovation in 2014, so the rooms are in excellent condition, as evidenced by photos and videos of tourists. Everywhere there is air conditioning and a ceiling fan, a TV with three Russian TV channels. Internet can be used free of charge for 1 hour per day in the lobby area. If something doesn’t work, you should contact us - all problems at the hotel are resolved promptly. No theft was noticed, however, to be on the safe side, it is better to pay for the safe. At the reception, as a rule, there is a Russian-speaking employee, but the main language of communication is Spanish and English. They also speak German and French.

The standard all-inclusive package includes visits to seven a la carte restaurants - three dinners per week with a mandatory reservation. In the restaurants you can enjoy a variety of international, Mexican, Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese, French and local cuisine, there is a sumptuous grill and seafood menu. There are ten bars on the hotel grounds, including one near each pool. There is a 24-hour fast food restaurant on the beach. If you checked in late, you can always eat there.

The dining rooms are crystal clean, tables are served quickly, and the choice of dishes is amazing for gourmets. Guests are always satisfied with the food in both restaurants and buffets. They say that it is impossible to try everything, but the level of service is worthy of five stars.

If you inform the tour operator or staff that dietary meals are required, they will arrange them. The restaurants have vegetarian menus.

For the youngest guests there is an assortment of children's dishes, special children's tables, chairs and kitchen utensils.

Entertainment and animation

The atmosphere of the hotel is conducive to active family vacation, charging visitors with the solar energy of the holiday. The entertainment component is well developed. The daytime and evening animation is pleasing, music is constantly playing. Animators entertain guests and hold exciting competitions. For children there are shows in the evenings, a lively mini-disco, and animators also work with them during the day. Children from 4 to 12 years old attend a children's mini-club, where interesting activities are organized according to the Bahia Scouts program.

Three outdoor pools have a special section for children; there is a water park on the territory of the neighboring Grand Bahia Principe Turquesa, which can be visited for free.

Young mothers have a chance to devote time to themselves - professional babysitters will take care of their children at a reasonable price.

Adults won't be bored either: spa, cosmetologist services, massage, mini-golf, aerobics and water aerobics, gym, bungee jumping, catamarans, casino, amphitheater for evening shows, disco, beach football and volleyball, and more. The hotel is located on the 1st line from the sea. Pleases own guarded sand beach Playa Bavaro. After the famous Macau Beach, this is the best beach area in the Dominican Republic. The beach is cleaned, but from time to time there is algae that can spoil the impression. The ocean wave regularly drives them towards the shore. But the beach is constantly being cleared of them. Therefore, negative impressions are unlikely.

During periods of rapid algae influx, it is better to swim near the buoys. Families with children can swim in this area with a swimming ring if the child does not get seasick.

I would like to note that there are few days when the Caribbean suffers from algae. As a rule, no more than three or four. And in the most beach area— safe: no jellyfish, sharks, or other dangerous creatures.

Territory and surroundings

Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana is 36 km from international airport Punta Cana. As a rule, they get there by taxi. In the surrounding area there are bazaars and Russian shops. Background:
The hotel area consists of 5 hotels - Gran Bahia Principe Ambar, Gran Bahia Principe Esmeralda, Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro and Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana Gran and Bahia Principe Premer - the hotel extends deep into the island, so the hotels are located as if one after another - that is, first luxury Ambar and Esmeralda, then mirror Bavaro and Punta Cana and the latest Premier.
In November, having booked on the advice of the operator (not Manzana) Bahia Principe Premer as children's hotel, which has a “children’s” package in its rooms in the form of bathrobes for children, milk in the minibar and small similar items for children.
But we couldn’t find reviews about this particular hotel in the Gran Bahia Principe chain... A month before departure, we finally found a review that said that the hotel was located on the territory of the chain, but it was the furthest to the road, that is, it was about 20 minutes from the ocean on foot, and trains often travel, but we considered that with a stroller this was not a very convenient option for us and turned to the tour operator with a request to replace Hotel Bahia Principe Premer to the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro hotel, which is located in close proximity to the ocean and a 5-7 minute walk to it) The tour operator, having requested available seats and charged us an additional payment of about $900, rebooked the hotel for us. (As it turned out on the spot, the rooms in these 2 hotels they cost the same - and it’s just a lottery where you will be accommodated - many gave 100-200 dollars at the reception and they were moved to the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro hotel) - the advantage is the proximity to the beach, the main restaurant and the rooms themselves are newer - the bed with canopy, plasma and good new plumbing)
The voucher clearly states the name of the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro hotel and the name of the Family suit room, but at the reception we were immediately given Premier bracelets (even before check-in - for visiting restaurants) with which we were not allowed into the main restaurant... we suspected something was wrong and went to investigate... Result - we were told that we had bought a Premier - and that the inscription on the Bavaro voucher did not mean anything and in Bavaro there simply was no Family Suit room category. Or rather, there are, but they are called Superior suit - that is, we have an error in the voucher - which was made by the operator and therefore we are accommodated in the Premier... there turned out to be about 20 of us from Ukraine... at the reception they did not want to hear anything about our additional payments or what was in The name of the hotel is still written on the voucher... the guide of the host party Terramara, Elena, behaved strangely - she did not take any part in the negotiations at all! Having barely called her, she finally arrived - she announced that she had written a letter to Kyiv and was waiting for what they would say, she didn’t even try to talk to the hotel staff. Let me remind you that it was Christmas - a day off and there was a time difference... it was already late evening in Kiev, that is, she knew very well that now no one would solve anything in Kyiv and only she could provide us with at least some assistance in the negotiations, but no - she simply told us about it, turned around and left without even trying to help (((
As a result, we were checked into the Premier at 17-00 as the last and only ones of all with 2 children after a 12-hour flight... By the way, there were no children’s “packages” in the Premier) no milk, no bathrobes - nothing!
Having spent a lot of money and time in the next 2 days on negotiations with Kyiv operators, after 2 nights we were finally moved to the right hotel...
After 2 days, the youngest girl was poisoned, they ate only the maximum children’s food... they called the insurance number and got to the Travel Professional Group company... why? It’s not clear - after all, they called the insurance company... after long songs and melodies they dictated the insurance number to us... they called the insurance company European Travel Insurance back - they told us our coordinates and called a doctor for child 1, 8, stipulating that we had poisoning and the child had vomiting and diarrhea... they said that in 5 minutes they will call back and tell you when the doctor will arrive... After 2 hours (!!!) without waiting for the call, we called back again... again a new operator - 2 hours of clarifying the data and again - “in 5 minutes we will call back and tell you when the doctor will arrive”... And ALL! Not a call... we are experienced parents - we managed it ourselves - and we have medicines at the ready, but the very fact - how is this possible - after all, we need a doctor small child! We made 3 calls for 5-7 minutes each, spending a lot of money on empty talk - we never saw the doctor, we never received a call (((
The next day I got poisoned...the next day my eldest daughter...
We informed our guide about such poisonings - she reacted calmly, said that everyone here is poisoned and almost every 3 of her tourists here were poisoned (((

I really liked the Dominican Republic as a country (oddly enough)
Green and bright, very comfortable weather - during our period it rained every day, but in the morning for 5 minutes, the wind near the ocean is sometimes strong, but very warm - it is very comfortable to lie down and for children - it does not float, there are waves, often with small algae - they are actually immediately removed from the beach, but they remain in the ocean) in principle there is no discomfort) the ocean is warm)
There are always sunbeds on the beach - despite the fact that the hotel was full, you can always find a sunbed, naturally, under an umbrella you need to take it at 7 o'clock, but this is also not a problem)
The kitchen...very monotonous and with a relatively small selection. There is nothing to feed the children - absolutely - in the evening it is impossible to even find mashed potatoes (Everything is breaded and in a bunch of sauces (
The animation is average - it exists, but it’s not really a theater)) whoever wants to will always find something to do)
Very weak children's animation - practically non-existent - children's disco - it's one dull animator and 5 children - although there are hundreds of them in the hotel.
There were no peacocks or other animals walking around the area.
Russians and Ukrainians are often ignored, and at the reception and at the bar, Europeans and Americans are served first - this is very offensive...
So the hotel is a solid 3-4 at a stretch - and all because of the staff - the territory itself, the beach and the rooms are basically good, but the staff, the kitchen spoil everything (
Well, our operators distinguished themselves... we will definitely return to the Dominican Republic to a decent hotel, but without our operators.
