Simferopol Airport: online flight schedule

Do not forget that the general schedule is drawn up in advance and covers a large time interval, which affects its accuracy. Simferopol Airport on the scoreboard displays current information online about arrival and departure for today, which is why the most relevant information from the online scoreboard will be. The timetable of Simferopol Airport and the online scoreboard will be useful for navigating on flights, searching for tickets and when building a route for a transfer.

The scheme and infrastructure of the airport Simferopol

The four-story building accommodates 55 registration desks, 8 mobile ramps, 8 approaches to passenger buses, 16 escalator mechanisms and 28 elevators. For people with disabilities, there is a barrier-free zone for convenience and comfortable service within the walls of the airport. The second floor has a control inspection area and a sterile area. The airport has many catering establishments, bank branches, drugstores and boutiques. Thus, passengers can get the maximum number of services without going beyond the terminal.

Where does the Crimea begin? For more than 5 million people a year, Crimea begins at Simferopol Airport, where planes fly from all over Russia. Recently opened in Simferopol new terminal. Of course, I followed the progress of construction and could not miss such an event and hastened to visit the new modern airport complex. The building was surprising and pleasantly struck.
Now I am ready to talk in detail about the newest airport complex in Russia.

The new terminal is located a few kilometers, catastrophically unable to cope with the sharply increased passenger flow even after the reconstruction and construction of additional terminals. In 2015, it was decided to build a new modern terminal from scratch. The new airport complex is capable of serving 3,625 passengers per hour and 6.5 million passengers per year.

Leading international agencies were involved in creating the concept of the terminal, a competition was announced in which one of the leading world architectural companies Samoo Architects & Engineers from South Korea, related to Samsung, won. Inspired by the nature of the Crimean peninsula, designers took the image of the sea as the main idea, calling the project “Crimean Wave”.

The concept turned out to be very unusual, the terminal building has curved contours on all sides except the ends, where there is room for expansion of the terminal. The new terminal of Simferopol Airport does not have a constant height. It ranges from 25 to 35 meters at different points.

The history of design and construction turned out to be very exciting and reads like a science fiction story, adjusted for the fact that everything has already been implemented, and for a very short time and from materials mainly of domestic production. Design work based on the chosen concept was also carried out by Russian companies.
The main stages of construction are shown in small exhibitionlocated right in the terminal.

When designing the new terminal of Simferopol Airport, the greatest attention was paid to the safety of the structure. The building is not only beautiful and functional, it is also earthquake resistant. In addition, the roof is designed and mounted in such a way that the accumulation of storm and melt water on its surface is excluded.

To create a unique silhouette of the new airport complex resembling the “Crimean wave”, more than 5700 tons of metal structures were mounted and 136 unique curved columns up to 35 meters high were erected. Thanks to them, a unique silhouette of the “Crimean wave” is formed.

24 round support columns with a diameter of 1 m from the side of the main facade are also installed, on which the roof trusses and sub-roof trusses of the building are supported, the span of which is 63 meters.
The glazing of the new terminal is as unique as the entire building. In total, 130 stained-glass windows consisting of 9 thousand unique double-glazed windows were mounted.

I suggest taking a walk around Simferopol airport. Unusual details rush already at the entrance to the airport. Pay attention to this bus, in fact, this is not a bus, but a trolley bus. The new terminal is served by trolleybuses that are able to move autonomously to parts of the route.

The areas near the airport are organized taking into account the peculiarities of Crimea as the largest resort. Parking for buses on which they come and go organized groups tourists located under awnings separately from the rest of the transport.

Let's get inside. The airport complex is striking in size and spaciousness. It has everything that should be in modern airports.

I note fairly humane prices compared to other airports. Baggage packing costs 200 rubles, which is several times cheaper than at the airports of the Moscow air hub.

For the convenience of passengers, the new airport complex has 28 elevators and 16 escalators. The vast majority of elevators are designed as an element of a barrier-free environment that meets the needs of visitors who are having difficulty moving independently: passengers with prams, passengers with disabilities, and older people.

Building management is carried out using an automated building management system (ACMS). It allows operational monitoring, remote monitoring and control of all engineering equipment of the terminal from a single dispatch center. The normal operating mode of the system is automatic. The automatic control system provides automatic and manual control of the following technological subsystems: ventilation and air conditioning, heat supply and hot water supply, domestic and drinking water supply and sewage, power supply and electric lighting, vertical transport (elevators and escalators), fire protection system.

Navigation for Simferopol Airport was developed by Artemy Lebedev Studio. Navigation features: maximum characters and minimum text. It turned out somewhere unusual, but generally intuitive.

There are 55 check-in and baggage desks at Simferopol Airport. Of these, 52 are regular racks, and 3 are designed for oversized baggage.

Oversized luggage racks are located directly in the "green wall", which is a special pride of the airport.

The area of \u200b\u200bthe "green wall" is about 1600 m². This design is the largest plant wall in Europe, located inside the building.
The "green wall" consists of living and artificial parts. At the same time, the height of the live part is 5 meters, of the artificial - 10 meters. In total, the structure is 15 meters high and 110 meters wide, which is comparable to the size of a five-story building.

The wall consists of decorative foliage and ampelous plants, such as ferns, arrowroots, philodendrons and epipremnums. It is worth moving a few meters and distinguishing artificial and real plants is impossible.

In total, more than 30 thousand plants are located inside the airport building.

About 2,000 people work at the Simferopol airport, by the beginning of the spring-summer season this figure will increase to 2100 people. The company is a city-forming for the city and nearby villages.

The new terminal of Simferopol Airport provides a wide network of fast food cafes. For those who have a lot of free time, full-cycle restaurants with a variety of dishes are presented.
In total, the new terminal will feature more than 40 objects of trade and public catering, two bank branches, a pharmacy and a beauty salon.
Let's take a look at one of the cafes called “Parsley”.

Pay attention to the prices:
300 ml soups - 95 rubles, hot dishes - 95 rubles per 100 grams, salads - 85 rubles per 100 grams. Compared to other airports, you can have a budget meal.

I will separately note a large number of outlets between the seats. Blocks are located between the seats in the common and in the sterile area. Not all seats are equipped with sockets, but about a third, but I think this is enough to not be left without communication.
The inability to charge phones was one of my biggest. This drawback is completely eliminated.

Let's see what else is from the infrastructure. At the same time you can look at the navigation.

The mother and baby room is spacious. There are separate bedrooms for younger children and a little older children, a separate games room. I recommend to all travelers with young children.

Navigation is duplicated at panoramic elevators.

The airport has veterinary and phytosanitary controls. I have never used either one or the other, but who needs it - please.

There is a prayer room for believers.

Another prayer room is for Muslims. The rugs are located in the direction of Mecca, the male and female parts are separated by a curtain.

The airport uses a domestic-made baggage handling system. The system was manufactured at a plant in Balashikha near Moscow, components were supplied from enterprises of Volgograd, Naberezhnye Chelny, Moscow Region and other cities.

The total length of conveyor belts of the luggage system of the new terminal is about two kilometers.
The system provides 100% inspection of checked baggage. All items handed over by passengers go through a three-level security system before getting on board the aircraft, which meets international and Russian standards and norms.

Passengers pass the limits, as at all airports. Security systems cannot be removed; I will show the things seized from passengers.

A whole container with liquids in bottles, the volume of which exceeds the permitted volume and a children's toy gun. All this is prohibited for carriage by international regulations.

After passing the inspection, passengers enter the shopping area. Forgot to buy souvenirs or just want to devote time to your flight shopping? No problems.

Gift shops already sell magnets with the image of the new terminal.

You can have a cold drink or a snack. It's nice that local manufacturers have not forgotten.

From the networks at the airport, “Baby Potato” was spotted. As far as I know, this is the first and so far the only point in the Crimea.

Simferopol Airport in its full name contains the word "International", although all flights are now operated on the territory of Russia. The entire infrastructure for international flights is, just not yet used.

The boarding gates are carried out through 8 boarding ramps, which previously were not in Simferopol, there are also 8 exits to the apron buses.

Here, too, the hand of Artemy Lebedev Studio employees is felt.

Teletraps themselves are comfortable.

On the platform were seen aircraft of the airlines "Russia", " Ural Airlines", Red Wings and others.

The highlight of Simferopol Airport was the open terrace on the fourth floor of the building, from where you can see the platform. Finally, in Russia, the dream of aviation enthusiasts is realized. They say that in good weather from this place a picturesque view opens not only on airplanes, but also on Mount Chatyr-Dag.

These pictures were taken just from the terrace.

You can consider all the details.

Any passenger flying from the airport can get to the open terrace.

There is a business lounge terrace next to the shared terrace. Here, more expensive and comfortable furniture, you can lie down in the open air in comfortable sun loungers. But the view is exactly the same.

VIP and business lounges are equipped to all modern standards, and their design is developed taking into account the general concept of the terminal. There is a separate parking zone and entrance to the airport for passengers in the VIP lounge. In the business lounge, you can grab a bite to eat or relax in silence.

In ordinary rooms, it’s also quite good. I want to note the seats made of flexible, springy and rubber-like material to the touch, sitting in chairs is very convenient.

It's time to fly off. Passengers on the NNN flight, following the route Simferopol - Vashgorod, go to exit number 8.

Pay attention to the high galleries in front of the telescopes. They had to be made so in the interests of people with limited mobility. Each of the galleries has an elevator.

And now we are changing the route. Now we will go through the arriving passengers. The same navigation with a minimum of words, there are none at all, but everything is clear. We are going towards the sun, but we flew to the Crimea.

Familiar and alluring outline.

The lucky ones who arrived in the Crimea receive baggage.

Directly in the arrivals hall there is a schedule of buses and ticket offices. The prices are quite reasonable, buses run quite often. In summer they will walk even more often.

Tickets can be bought at terminals or ticket offices with cashiers.

Do not forget to take a picture against the background of a panel with recognizable places of Crimea, the central place among which is the new airport terminal.

If you have arrived at Artek, then they are waiting for you. If not, you can go to a taxi stop, public transport or rent a car right in the airport building. The cheapest car is Logan with a manual gearbox, it will cost 1,500 rubles a day.

The Crimean coast annually attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists from Russia and other countries of the world with its resorts. The most comfortable option to get to the beautiful beaches and warm sea Air travel is considered. Key Air Harbor of Crimea - international Airport "Simferopol".

Where is the airport in Simferopol?

Simferopol Airport has a very good location. It is carried far enough outside the city - to the urban-type Aeroflot settlement, while it is not difficult to get to it, because it is only 12 km from the center. This route is most convenient for Aeroexpress. Buses and trolleybuses united by this brand leave for the city around the clock with an interval of 10 minutes.
