In the warm season, “Levoberezhny” attracts not only residents of the district of the same name, but also, perhaps, all Muscovites from the northern part of the city. No wonder: this place has always been popular due to its fine sand, grassy lawns, fields for sports games and a large children's playground. After the improvement, the beach acquired additional infrastructure: wooden benches under a canopy, ping-pong tables, bicycle parking, new playgrounds with all kinds of climbing frames, bridges and swings. There are sun loungers right next to the shore where you can sit comfortably and, while sunbathing, look at the water and swimmers.
And, by the way, about swimming. The beach is located on the shore of a small bay extending from the Canal. Moscow. This is why its beaches are so valuable: their cleanliness and amenities are especially monitored. The shore here is mostly covered with grass, but there is a sandy strip near the water. The swimming area is fenced, and here this is of paramount importance, because very nearby there is a pier for boats, yachts and boats.
As for the amenities, visitors have access to changing rooms, showers, toilets, and sun loungers for rent. Children are regularly entertainment programs. Next door is the Estate Park complex with a restaurant and its own coastal area with more comfortable sun loungers and gazebos. There is also a car park nearby, but to get into it you need to have a restaurant or yacht club visitor's pass. But even in this case, as townspeople note, there may not be any free places. The third beach of Serebryany Bor is much more than the second. And much more popular: visitors note that on weekends you can hardly find a free place here. For the same reasons, it is worth thinking about the road in advance - parking a car, despite the presence of a parking lot, is problematic, but there is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity of the beach.
Beach No. 3 is cheerful and noisy, surrounded on both sides by recreation areas where music is always playing. Other entertainment: cafes, sports grounds, gazebos, playgrounds for children, a volleyball field and even a tennis court (for a fee). You can sunbathe on the sand near the shore or on the soft grass. Sometimes people like to jokingly call the Stroginsky backwater “the sea” - it is so huge (more than a kilometer in length and almost two in width). It is located not so far from Serebryany Bor, but it is no less popular. Especially after the improvement of 2017-2018, when the coastal area, where the public beach had always been located, was equipped with wooden decking, benches and sun loungers. The paths, by the way, rise slightly above the ground - this made it possible to preserve the natural landscape of the park and, of course, the sandy beach.
The bay was created artificially in the 30s and acquired a reputation as one of the most environmentally friendly within the city. However, it was not always possible to officially swim here. Now, vacationers have access to not only playgrounds, cafes and children's playgrounds, but also a neat beach with pleasant water. In summer people also enjoy jet skiing and sailing. The beach at Troparevsky Pond is not large, but pleasant and well-maintained. The sandy area can rarely accommodate everyone, and therefore many have to sit on the grass (for convenience, there are sun loungers here, but one must think that they are rarely empty). The reservoir is fed by springs, so the water is often clear but cold. However, this rarely stops Muscovites: both adults and children swim (they usually have a “paddling pool” for them). But you shouldn’t be afraid: the water here is considered very clean, and the reservoir itself is one of the most beautiful in Moscow. No wonder that local beach always, like a magnet, attracted the residents of Zelenograd - even when it could not boast of good infrastructure. Now the area has a much more landscaped appearance: wooden sun loungers and colorful playgrounds have appeared. White Beach is the most famous and longest beach in Boracay. The length of the beach is 4 km. Most of the most expensive hotels on the island are located here. White Beach is unique due to its fine white sand and clear, azure-colored water.
This beach looks like paradise, straight out of a Bounty commercial. The beach is perfectly clean; drinking, smoking and eating food are prohibited on it. The white beach does not belong to any of the hotels and is public, so you can walk along it freely wherever you wish.

First, let's go over the places where you can sunbathe without additional costs for renting sun loungers, and there is no entrance fee to the beach.
Serebryany Bor– the oldest place for a family holiday opens our list. There are both paid beaches and free recreation areas where you can sit on the grass surrounded by pine forests on the banks of the Moscow River. Swimming is allowed here.

Another favorite place to relax is Gorky Park offers a large selection of sites for sunbathing lovers. At the entrance to the park, giant bright orange pillows can be found on the green lawn. If you go deeper, opposite the summer cinema “Pioneer” there are beautiful swinging sun loungers for two. And on wooden sun loungers you can sunbathe right on the pond or on the banks of the Moscow River; your reference point will be “Olive Beach”. A soft lounger is provided for an entrance fee. But next door there is a perfectly equipped shower area, and even with free entry. Here you can sunbathe on a personal towel and a wooden terrace in the form of steps. Swimming is prohibited here.

There is a free city beach where you can swim in the Vodny Stadium metro area. On beach "Levoberezhny"“You can swim, play volleyball, and the children will find something to do in the children’s town. For their safe swimming, a paddling pool is fenced off in the pond.

In addition to the banks of the Moscow River, there are also lakes and ponds where you can sunbathe and, in some places, swim. There is a sandy beach with free entry in the Kosino area on White Lake. This pond is suitable for swimming, perfect for those who live in the neighborhood.

Another lake is Meshcherskoye, in the southwest of the capital.. The beach here is small but sandy, swimming is allowed, but, in our opinion, it is not clean enough.
Address: st. Voskresenskaya, 5. From the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station take bus No. 66, the final stop.
For residents of the south of Moscow there are excellent Borisov Ponds.
Here you can sunbathe, there is a well-kept sandy beach with free entry, but without the possibility of swimming.

There are several more pleasant recreation areas with all the infrastructure, but there is an entrance fee. Here you will be offered a soft lounger and a towel, on the territory you can use a shower and changing cabins, there are restaurants, cafes and other “entertainment” on the territory.
Rublevo beach in Zhivopisnaya Bay It is considered, perhaps, the cleanest and most democratic paid beach in Moscow. The place is young and crowded. Here you can play volleyball, rent a boat or catamaran, or go water skiing. The beach is open from 9 am to 9 pm, guests can use the shower, there are cafes and restaurants on site, as well as fountains with drinking water. Parties are held with invited DJs.

Beach Club- the most expensive and respectable beach in Moscow. Once here, you forget that you are in the capital. The atmosphere of a Mediterranean resort is created here - white tents, sun loungers with umbrellas, pleasant lounge music, a restaurant with good cuisine, a well-groomed sandy beach and a view of parked yachts. There is an organized volleyball court here, you can rent a scooter or right on the shore.
