Once it was just a village that was engaged in sheep breeding, currently Beldibi has become one of the best resort towns in Turkey. In the city of Beldibi there are about 60 hotels of various classes and price categories.

Beldibi on the map

Beldibi beaches, unfortunately, are not ideal, but not the worst. The bulk of the beach has a rocky entry into the sea, there are also sandy ones. Therefore, when planning a vacation in Beldibi, we recommend that you check which beach will be at your hotel.

Near Beldibi there is a picturesque “wild beach”, which few tourists know about.

What's special? The place does not belong to any hotel, and the descent into the sea pleases with fine sand. This distinguishes it from coastline Kemer and Beldibi, where at the entrance to the sea there are solid stones and pebbles. The landscape of the “wild beach” is decorated, rising above the surface of the water, with several huge boulders, just like on Tu Romio in Cyprus.

What adds to the impression is that the area is small and surrounded on both sides by rocks, forming a very small “peninsula”. So you can get to this place either by swimming, rounding the mountain ledge, or on foot, passing through a tunnel in the cliff. Let us immediately note that the tunnel is abandoned and not illuminated. The road along it will be 100-150 meters. This short trip is suitable for tourists who are tired of the seascape of their hotel and want a little distraction, feeling a small dose of adrenaline.

How to get to the “wild beach” in Beldibi in Turkey on foot?

Beldibi represents locality about seven kilometers long, located along the sea line and densely built up with hotels of various classes. The road along Beldibi is straight and difficult to get lost. You need to move straight towards Antalya until the road fork where Beldibi almost ends. There, next to the Premiere Palace hotel (5 stars), you need to turn right towards the sea, without leaving the road. Next there will be a large road sign with an inscription on Turkish"Çamdağ Tünelli".

Soon an arch will appear in the rock, so you need to go through it.

At the exit, you should immediately turn right and carefully descend from the mountain to the sea along a path already trodden by some tourists. You will have a magnificent view, where you will take many wonderful photos and swim. Locals also sometimes go there, and there are also tourists from nearby. In general, towards evening there may be no one on the “wild beach”. However, you need to remember to be careful. Of course, there is no infrastructure there, but there is a sandy entrance to the sea and beautiful view to the mountains.

Video review

An entertaining video report will show how one of the tourists had a rest in the village of Beldibi.

The beaches in Beldibi can be compared to a layer cake, because sand and pebbles are mixed here, and the entry into the sea is made of stones. However, after swimming a few meters, you can see a flat sandy bottom. Therefore, although the beach in Beldibi is rocky, visibility in the water is not very good. There is also a wild beach in Beldibi. is divided into three districts - Beldibi-1, Beldibi-2 and Beldibi-3 and is located in.

About the beaches in Beldibi

As already mentioned, the beaches here are mostly sand and pebbles. Most entries into the sea consist of coarse sand, and therefore there is no particular need to purchase slippers. On seabed It’s unlikely to find anything interesting other than sand and schools of fish.

There is practically no promenade along the beaches. And the city beach in Beldibi-1, which belongs to the municipal beach of Ataturk Park, is equipped with everything necessary - changing cabins, showers. And although there is a fairly short embankment along the coast, there is little in the sea interesting representatives flora and fauna, there is something to see in this resort village.

The most beautiful beach on the Beldibi coast

Beaches in Beldibi

If you want peace and privacy, you should take a walk to rocky shore to turn out to be amazing beautiful beach. It is small in size and low tourist season There are practically no people here, which is why it is called wild.

To get to this beach, you need to go to the sea anywhere in the village, but only from Beldibi-1, after which you should turn left. Next you need to go to the cliff along the coast; the passage will be blocked by a rock that you need to overcome by swimming.

There is another way to visit the wild beach in Beldibi. To do this, you need to walk along the main street of the village, then face the sea and turn left. Walk to the hotel under construction, then turn right, cross the abandoned road tunnel and go down the hill.

Popular beach in Beldibi

Beaches in Beldibi

But on the other side of the cliff, that is, in the village itself, there is a beach in Beldibi, which is much easier to get to, and it is no less picturesque and popular.

It is in this place that you can swim among huge stones. Those who are brave jump from the largest rock into the sea, although here it is not too deep. By the way, sun loungers here can be placed not only on the beach, but also on a hill, where it is much cooler - in the forest at the foot of the mountain.

However, many tourists choose beaches in Beldibi, owned by hotels and well equipped. Of course, the places here are not as picturesque as on the beaches on both sides of the cliff, but not far from the hotel, there are all amenities, bars and hotel security. In any case, the choice is yours! And not far from Beldibi there is Topcham beach, opposite which there is an uninhabited island. This beach is a camping area where local population arrives in cars. This beach is sandy and very picturesque.

Beaches in Beldibi video

The so-called “wild” beach, 1.5 km from our hotel, attracted me even before the trip, when I was exploring the surrounding area using Google maps.
Three huge boulders in the sea and miniature beaches between them seemed very attractive. So we went there on the first day.

2. Another advantage of this beach is that after 12 o’clock the sun begins to go away. Which at a temperature of +38 in the shade is very useful. We settled down on a large flat rock, which for some reason was not occupied by other vacationers (both on our first and other visits to this beach, they preferred to sit on a narrow strip of pebbles washed by the waves).

3. An elderly man passing by decided to ask my husband something. From above it looked quite funny: the husband’s active gestures, the direction of his gaze from top to bottom, the man’s pose... As if he was reading a sermon: D

4. And a yacht sailed past...

5. Turks love to place their flags everywhere. Maybe this means a conquered peak, maybe something else... but quite often lonely flags flutter at different elevations.

6.

7. The second part of the beach is even less crowded. To get to it you need to walk approximately thigh-deep in water or climb over rocks from above. Perhaps this scares some people.

8. Others are afraid of almost nothing! Turkish boys even jumped from this large stone. The distance to the water is approximately 6-7 meters. For some reason I didn't take the risk. The man in red shorts too :)

9. And this is how you get to the first beach... When I was taking pictures, I didn’t notice that someone was crawling into the frame :)

10.

11. It’s not difficult to climb onto the rocks above the beach, and the views are beautiful. And if there were still wild janitors on the wild beach, who would collect and carry away garbage, it would be absolutely wonderful... because vacationers are not accustomed to such a thing.

12.

Not far from this place, a new luxury hotel is currently being built, which should begin operating in 2013. Judging by the large advertising posters of the hotel with a beautiful panorama of this beach (taken from hot air balloon or helicopter), it can be assumed that access to this place will be limited in the future.
