Crimea rest in a quiet place on the shore. Quiet resorts of Crimea. Silver and Gold beaches in Balaklava

The average Russian, if asked where he would go on vacation, will most likely name Crimea. Adequate cost, no need to cross the border and rack your brains over documents, developed resort infrastructure, incredible nature and climate, many cities and areas also have an ancient history. There really is everything you need for have a good rest: sea, mountains, excellent beaches. The problem arises only in one thing - where exactly to go/fly? The whole of Crimea, in fact, is a huge tourist area, every village is ready to welcome you, but not every resort is distinguished by the sum of all its advantages. We have made a review for you best places in Crimea, which tourists should pay attention to.

The peninsula is also convenient because it is easy to get here. Main airport, located in Simferopol, has been reconstructed and updated. Moreover, you can buy air tickets at a minimal cost, and it’s not that difficult. Transfers leave from Simferopol almost 24 hours a day, and there is also a public transport in almost all directions.

Here we are not even talking about a city, but about an entire region that has turned into a huge resort area. But we advise you to go to Yalta itself, because it is very ancient city, in which historical monuments are found in abundance. Thanks to the unique the most beautiful landscapes, healing climate and clean sea, Yalta was well known back in the days of Tsarist Russia. That is why you should definitely visit the fortresses and palaces of that era: Swallow's Nest, Yusupov and Vorontsov palaces. People go to Yalta even out of season, for example, just to visit the famous gardens and parks, enjoy the architecture and tours of museums. You will also find here Massandra Wine Factory, where tastings are constantly taking place, and waterfalls (for example, famous Wuchang-su).

Everything in this city is created for comfort, so this resort is suitable for people who value amenities and every little detail. For example, despite the fact that city beaches are literally crowded during the season, there are paid areas along the coast where there are many times fewer people (not to mention private and guarded beaches from hotels and boarding houses). By the way, this is where one of the most unusual and popular hotels in Crimea is located -.

Historically, Koktebel is to some extent an aristocratic and sophisticated resort. It is enough to visit here at least once to understand why. In the last century, many writers, artists, and cultural figures stayed here - the mild climate of the coast is considered healing. Low mountains and a clear sea are the key to recovery. Koktebel was loved by Bulgakov, Gorky, Alexei Tolstoy, Chekhov, Bunin, Bryusov, Voloshin lived here and now you can visit his house-museum. Nowadays, the village produces wines that are famous far beyond the country’s borders, so this is a real paradise for lovers of this drink.

Nowadays Koktebel is the center of youth life. Due to the climate and nature, the largest open airs and festivals are constantly held here. All kinds of jazz concerts are especially famous; it’s not for nothing that the village is called the cradle of this musical style.

As for geography, Koktebel is also a find. The low mountains are great for walking (it’s worth it alone Karadag Reserve), the village stretches along the sea, forming a natural embankment. For tourists there is a large selection of pebbles and sandy beaches. Due to the natural bay, the sea here is warm and clean.

Another ancient city on the peninsula. The resort of Feodosia attracts many tourists in summer. Indeed, ruins and ruins of castles and forts are scattered picturesquely and in large numbers throughout the region. Historians date the city to VI. BC Here you can wander through the hills and castles, ruined walls and caves all summer long. But first of all, today Feodosia attracts tourists with its developed infrastructure and beaches. Their total length is more than 15 kilometers. In the city itself there are restaurants and cafes, an amusement park, a dolphinarium, old temples and museums. For example, art gallery with a huge collection of paintings by Aivazovsky or the Green Museum.

Like Koktebel, Feodosia constantly hosts festivals, and tours best stars national stage is a common thing during the season. When you go to a club in the evening, you may well end up at a concert of a top band. Like many large coastal cities, Feodosia has a developed suburban “belt”, where housing costs several times cheaper than in the center.

It's not easy resort town, but also a strategically important port. That is why Kerch is such a developed center. The infrastructure here is very diverse. Moreover, the Kerch Peninsula is washed by two seas at once: both the Black and Azov. Just imagine, within 24 hours you can swim in two seas at once. There really isn't much in the city good beaches– there are mainly ports and embankments. But in the suburbs you will find a huge number of boarding houses, hotels and private owners renting out rooms. From here the sea is closer, it is cleaner and has more varied beaches.

Near Kerch are ancient catacombs, the entrance to which is open to tourists. It’s quite interesting to wander through the dark dungeons, naturally, with a guide. As in many coastal cities, on Kerch Peninsula there are ruins of ancient fortresses, and museums dedicated to medieval battles taking place in these territories. You can visit on Mount Mithridates, which even a beginner can master. Here is the Obelisk of Glory and offers stunning views of the city and the sea.

Alushta is surrounded on all sides by mountains, due to the sea and a closed area where strong winds do not penetrate, there is always healing air here. Safe haven is famous for its sanatoriums; they are best suited for people who have problems with the lungs and respiratory tract in general. But as a resort, Alushta is wonderful. A variety of pebble and sandy beaches, pleasant mountains for walks, clear sea - what else is needed for a great holiday?

For a cultural program you will find a huge number of restaurants and clubs, natural and historical attractions. Located in Alushta one of the largest dolphinariums in Crimea. You can climb Mount Kastel, where an ancient fortress has been preserved, descend into the mystical Ghost Valley, enjoy the views waterfall Jur-Jur. By the way, the climate of the area contributes not only to healing, there is unique reserve beech forest.

The small village of Foros is the southernmost point of Crimea. That is why it is very warm here, it almost never happens bad weather, A velvet season lasts until the beginning of November. In fact, Foros is not as advertised as Yalta or Koktebel, but experienced tourists flock here. The village is considered an elite resort, and all thanks to the unique geography of the area.

Foros is surrounded by rocks, but not as small as in Alushta. These are huge mountains that create a breathtaking landscape. But there are temples on the ledges, observation decks, restaurants and hotels. The beaches are small pebbles, the water is clean, due to the lack of ports and big cities near. Previously, Gorky lived in this area, then Gorbachev held out. Foros is also famous for its huge bicentennial park, where rare plants from all over the world are collected. Symbol of Foros - Foros Church, located on the top of a mountain that seems to float above the sea and is reached by a winding serpentine road.

Gurzuf is well known to tourists. Its peculiarity is that the city is located directly on rocky terrain, so hotels and restaurants are located on different levels, and to the sea you need to go down serpentine roads and confusing alleys. But all these inconveniences cannot be compared with beautiful view cities because of the rocks. It’s not for nothing that Chekhov, Repin, Chaliapin, and Korovin lived and vacationed here in their time. Right in the center, on the Genoese rock, there are ruins ancient fortress.

Despite the developed cultural infrastructure, it cannot be said that club life is in full swing in Gurzuf. This is not a party place, families come here for have a relaxing holiday at a distance from Yalta (10 kilometers). There is another feature that attracts tourists to Gurzuf - the seabed. The area is famous for its underwater species, rare fish and plants. That's why people come here every year for perfect diving. By the way, it is in Gurzuf that the most high point Crimea - Mount Roman-Kosh.

Perhaps one of the most famous and oldest resorts in Crimea. People settled in Evpatoria back in the 6th century BC. Time passed, the city grew. IN Soviet era it and nearby Saki became the main health center of the peninsula. A huge number of sanatoriums and children's health camps still operate here. The healing mud of Evpatoria is especially famous, capable of simply improving the condition of the skin and curing some of the diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

The city is divided into new and old parts. The latter especially attracts tourists. Of course, who wouldn’t want to stroll through the narrow, ancient streets, ride a sightseeing tram, stroll along beautiful embankment(about 14 kilometers). Evpatoria – perfect place for holidays with children. Shallow and sandy beaches, warm water, developed infrastructure with a huge water park and dolphinarium.

Every person dreams of a pleasant and meaningful vacation. We can sit at work for a long time and indulge in dreams of the warm sandy shore of the sea, its blue waves and warm water. Everyone has the opportunity to have a good rest, because Crimea is right at hand. Quiet family is not a place, but a reality. What should you pay attention to?

Choosing a place to relax is not an easy task. Not everyone likes noisy and crowded places. And it’s best to spend time with your family somewhere in solitude, where no one will disturb you.

When choosing a locality, beach and sea, you need to pay attention to some factors:

  • Price. Everything is clear here, it is important that the price is commensurate with the quality of the holiday. Many quiet and cozy villages have much better conditions for family holidays than popular beaches. And the price here is not so steep;
  • Place to live. As a rule, problems may arise with this, so it is better to take care of housing in advance. Moreover, children will also come to relax - so it is doubly important to find yourself cubby in advance;
  • Infrastructure of a city, town or beach. People are whimsical creatures. Splashing in the sea 24 hours a day will quickly get boring, so it is important that the place where you are staying has something to eat, where to go and what to see. Usually cafe chains are well developed in all places. Quiet and uncrowded villages are perfect for family gatherings over barbecue. Children will also probably prefer to go on rides and see the sights.
  • Transport communications. It is important to choose a village near a large city. Fortunately, there are plenty of such options. In this case, you can easily get to your vacation spot by car, bus or train, relax and immediately return back.

As a result, we can conclude that

A family holiday in Crimea is best spent in a small tourist village.

There are no crazy Yalta prices, no noise and hubbub, like in Sudak or Koktebel. But here there are all the conditions for a cozy holiday in a friendly family circle, responsive local residents who are always ready to help you.

Good afternoon, our dear travelers! Few people like to feel like they’re in a crowd of people when they come on vacation. But when coming to famous resorts, you need to be prepared for such a turn of events. If you like a more secluded holiday, then the little-known resorts of Crimea are suitable for you, which we will tell you about today.

As part of the article, we will describe 7 little-known resorts in Crimea. For the most part, these are small resort villages where the infrastructure is not so developed, but at the same time there is no strong crowd of people.

And, if you also want to see unusual and beautiful places in Crimea, we advise you to read this article to the end. We are sure you will not regret it.

Greetings

When choosing where to go, pay attention to this village with a friendly name. Privetnoye is a small village between Alushta and Sudak, this is where our grandchildren stayed when they went to Crimea.

The village lives by two main activities - grape growing and resort business.

Privetny also has its own attraction - the dilapidated ruins of the ancient fortress of Agira. So there is also something to see here.

The beaches in Privetnoye are mostly pebble, but with a smooth, gentle slope. The sea is clean and warm, warming up quickly due to the shallow depth off the coast. Some areas of the beach offer small water activities.

You can live here either in boarding houses or in the private sector. There are also several campsites where you can pitch your tent. Within the village there are several cafes, canteens and shops, and there is its own market.

Getting here is as convenient as from Simferopol, where you can fly direct from many Russian cities.

Kacha

When choosing places to relax, pay attention to this small village. The village of Kacha is located 23 km from Sevastopol and 25 km from Bakhchisarai.

It is more convenient to get here from Simferopol. Kacha is attractive for its natural landscapes - the village is surrounded on all sides by cliffs and has several secluded bays. These quiet places are perfect for a relaxing holiday.

The beaches here are sand and pebbles, the entrance to the sea is smooth. The beaches are mostly wild; there is practically no infrastructure on them. Accommodation is possible in guest houses, mini-hotels and the private sector.

You won't find large restaurants or cafes here. Only a few shops and very small eateries. There is also no entertainment provided here, but you can go to neighboring Sevastopol, from where you can book excursions.

Shchelkino

Where can you relax if you are going to Crimea by car? For example, on the way to Shchelkino.

The village of Shchelkino is located on the Kerch Peninsula near the coast Sea of Azov. It is more convenient to get here from Kerch. Since the Azov Sea is shallower than the Black Sea, it warms up noticeably faster. And the sandy beaches and smooth sunset are good for families with children.

The wind rose of the village favors lovers of windsurfing and kitesurfing. Recently, several recreation centers and private hotels have appeared here, the infrastructure is gradually gaining momentum, but still it is not as crowded as in the most popular resorts of Crimea.

Sandy

Which place to choose for a family vacation?

The village of Peschanoe is an excellent holiday destination for couples with children. Cozy sandy beaches, clear sea with a smooth sunset - everything little vacationers need.

The infrastructure of the village is gradually growing and improving. Accommodation in holiday homes, boarding houses and, of course, in the private sector is already available.

The resort has its own bus station, from which it is convenient to get to nearby cities: Simferopol, Bakhchisaray, Sevastopol and Evpatoria.

Resort

The resort is located between Sudak (27 km) and Koktebel (15 km). The infrastructure of the village is well developed. There is a market, several cafes and canteens, grocery stores and beach accessories stores, and there is entertainment for children and adults on the embankment.

The beaches here are mostly pebble. Accommodation is available mainly in mini-hotels or the private sector. Not far from Kurortny there is the famous Karadag Nature Reserve, where, in addition to a walk to an extinct volcano, you can take a trip to the local dolphinarium.

These places make great photos, because the views are mesmerizing.

Marine

Morskoye is located near the bays of the New World and attracts tourists mainly with its wide sand and pebble beaches. The beaches here are not equipped, which attracts many car travelers.

What stunning landscapes open up for photo sessions when you drive through these places by car.

Boarding houses, mini-hotels, private sector and numerous campsites. The village has several cafes, canteens, shops and markets with vegetables and fruits.

Walking or cycling excursions to nearby places often start from here: the New World, Cape Ai-Foka, Veselovskaya Bay.

Simeiz

Simeiz is considered the most popular resort village among all in Crimea. It is located near sunny Yalta. This proximity suggests a wide variety of excursions that can be purchased once you get to Yalta.

The most popular entertainment in Simeiz itself is considered to be visiting the Blue Bay water park and conquering the top of the Diva Rock, which rises on the main beach of the village.

If you need a place to propose marriage and don't want too many crowds, this is the place.

The beaches here are pebbly and rocky in some places. Accommodation is possible both in inexpensive boarding houses, sanatoriums, private hotels and the private sector, and in luxury villas which can be rented for the entire holiday period.

These places we have listed are good to stop for the entire vacation period or for part of it, and then move on. Avid travelers often do not like excessive crowds of people in their vacation spots.

They are attracted to secluded corners of our planet, quiet backwaters, places unknown to the general public.

But in addition to a secluded place of residence, I also want to see unusual and beautiful places in Crimea. Therefore, we decided to supplement our article with a selection interesting places, which you can take a look at.

For example, when mountains are mentioned, everyone immediately remembers Ai-Petri. But in Crimea there are also mountains that are not inferior in the beauty of their views to the most popular point of Crimea.

Fans of mountains and rocky terrain can go to Mount Ak-Kaya or White Rock, as it was nicknamed by locals and travelers. The mountain rises more than 100 meters above the local valley.

The shape of the rock itself is more reminiscent of part of a wide wall or a special ledge for rituals.

What is also noteworthy about this rock is that everywhere you can find evidence that once upon a time this area was part of the ocean floor - here and there you come across fragments with fossilized shells and mollusks.

The “Valley of Ghosts” on the Demerdzhi mountain range near Alushta is gradually gaining its popularity. The rocks are here and stone sculptures resemble people, animals and various objects.

Lovers of beautiful lakes should definitely go to the most salt lake in Crimea - Koyashskoe. An incredible feature of this lake is its color.

Not far from Yalta there is a little-known waterfall with beautiful name Diana's font. It is better to visit it in the spring, when melting snow adds to its power.

For lovers of a minimum of civilized amenities, we can advise you to visit Lake Kastel, which was located near the village of Lazurnoe. Near the lake you can find equipped tables and benches for a picnic, and the views around are simply mesmerizing.

Trails and roads

Fans of hiking adventures should undoubtedly take a trip along the Taraktash trail, which runs along the southern slope of Mount Ai-Petri in the vicinity of Yalta.

Well, if you are not chasing places that are included in the top of the best places, then you may like the climbing trail to the 500-meter mountain Ai-Georgia, which is located near the city of Sudak.

From the top there is an excellent panorama of the city, and the path itself, passing through a pine forest and juniper thickets, will not leave you indifferent. old road above the Uzundzha canyon once led to a small village.

Now about 6 people live in this village, in fact there are only two houses, but the road has been perfectly preserved. You can walk along it or drive a car, the views are stunning, the places are wild and completely secluded.

Beaches and underwater objects

ABOUT " General's beaches“and the beaches on capes Tarkhankut and Fiolent, we have already written in our article with reviews about the best beaches in Crimea.

These beaches are not so popular among vacationers due to the fact that they are wild and do not contain any infrastructure. However, their beauty and unusualness are definitely worth a visit.

There are others interesting beaches that you might want to see.

To the beach " The Lost World» can only be reached from the sea, swimming around the tip of Cape Aya.

The waters here have an unusual ultramarine color, and indescribable views open up at sunset. Not far from the village of Olenevka there is Karadzhinskaya Bay with a perfectly clear sea. This place is suitable for those who love to relax alone with nature.

And Chucha Bay can please diving enthusiasts unusual entertainment in the form of an underwater museum “Alley of Leaders”. There are about 32 sculptures of political figures and artists installed at the depths of the sea.

All of them were covered with a layer of algae, corals and limestone formations. Another unusual underwater object is the lake at the foot of the village of Khoja Sala.

Under the water column of this lake are hidden the ruins of a medieval settlement and a Christian temple. At the end of summer, when the water level in the lake becomes significantly lower, the remains of the temple emerge from the water.

Cities and fortresses

For lovers ancient architecture We can recommend visiting the Genoese fortress located in the city of Sudak. The buildings of the fortress are perfectly preserved and very picturesque.

If the purpose of your vacation is to swim in the sea and sunbathe, combining these activities with excursions, then attention should be paid to the South Coast, the Eastern and Western regions of the peninsula. The central regions are suitable for educational tourism, and resorts located close to the Crimean Mountains are suitable for hiking.

Where is the best place to relax in Crimea? There is no clear answer to this question. After all, the nature of the peninsula is very diverse, and some are only interested in a beach holiday, some want to go hiking, and others want to see historical sights.

In this post I will tell you in general about the resorts of Crimea, about the strong and weaknesses everyone. After all, even resort towns and villages differ in infrastructure development, prices and much more. I marked all the places I talk about in the post on the map, it’s at the bottom of the post.

Where to relax in Crimea? Resorts of Crimea

I will tell you here only about those places that I have personally visited, and I will describe the pros and cons regarding my point of view. For some, my cons will be advantages and vice versa :)

West Coast

Olenevka- a calm village at the westernmost point of the peninsula near Cape Tarkhankut. This is where one of the best beaches Crimea with white sand and clear water. That’s why Olenevka is a good place to relax with children and for those who want to feel like they’re at grandma’s in the village, but by the sea :)

  • Tarkhankut
  • poor infrastructure, ordinary village
  • there are no normal supermarkets and a large selection of cafes and restaurants
  • difficult to get to, not many buses and relatively far to go
  • steppes (a minus for me personally, I love mountains)
  • not a lot of interesting things around, it can get boring

Evpatoria- the most famous resort in west coast. An entire area of the city is occupied by sanatoriums and children's health camps, some of which appeared at the beginning of the 20th century. The city has an oriental atmosphere, there is a large beautiful mosque, old town with colorful streets. also sandy, popular among vacationers with children.

  • several sandy beaches within the city
  • developed infrastructure: cafes and restaurants, many hotels, guest houses, sanatoriums
  • easily accessible by bus or train from Simferopol
  • at the height of the season there are a lot of people, the beach is crowded
  • there are few places around where you can still go
  • Soviet atmosphere and it seems that houses, roads, sidewalks have never been repaired

There are still many places where you can relax on the west coast. These are small villages, the most famous of which are: Chernomorskoye, Popovka, Nikolaevka, Peschanoye, Kacha.

Sevastopol- hero city, city of sailors, St. Petersburg on the warm sea. Just a charming place in the hills with beautiful old buildings and squares. It is clear that a lot of money is being invested in Sevastopol, here good roads, mowed lawns, paved sidewalks, everything is new - a big contrast with other cities of Crimea.

Sevastopol

Sevastopol should not be considered as a base for beach holiday(there are beaches, but not the best), but it’s definitely worth coming for a day or two to see the center, Tauride Chersonesos, the Defense of Sevastopol Museum and other places.
